Konica Minolta Releases PageScope Mobile iOS App 4.0 and Android App 3.0

RAMSEY, NJ--(Marketwired - April 08, 2014) - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announces the launch of the PageScope Mobile iOS App version 4.0 and the PageScope Mobile Android App version 3.0. These updated applications offer connectivity to Konica Minolta bizhub® MFPs for select iPad®, iPad Mini®, iPad Air®, iPhone®, and iPod® Touch users supporting iOS version 6.0, 6.1 and 7.0, as well as select Android devices supporting OS versions 4.2 and 4.3. The PageScope Mobile Apps are available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store respectively.

PageScope Mobile is a downloadable application that connects a bizhub MFP with mobile devices, allowing end-users to browse, read, scan and print select documents and images. Once paired using a Wi-Fi connection, PageScope Mobile enables users to utilize their business documents in a variety of creative ways and take advantage of mobility with Apple and Android mobile devices.

In addition to providing support for recently introduced Konica Minolta devices, PageScope Mobile iOS App version 4.0 and the PageScope Mobile Android App version 3.0 feature integration of Google Analytics. This function has been incorporated to collect market data from PageScope Mobile users in an effort to analyze how the PageScope Mobile App is used. The ultimate goal is to provide valuable enhancements in the future -- functions that provide the tools that mobile users need to maintain productivity and efficiency.
