Laidlaw & Company (UK) LTD Hires Patrick Gallagher as Managing Director, Head of Healthcare Sales

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 23, 2014) - Laidlaw & Co. (UK) LTD ("Laidlaw") today announces the addition of Patrick Gallagher, MBA, CFA, to the Company's ranks as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Sales.

Mr. Gallagher co-founded Black Diamond Research, LLC ("BDR") in 2001, an independent sell-side research firm specializing in healthcare investing, financing and operations, serving the institutional investing community at large. Serving as Chief Executive Officer of BDR until 2010, Mr. Gallagher oversaw institutional research and sales. Prior to 2001, he held various sales positions at Kidder Peabody, PaineWebber and New Vernon Associates. Mr. Gallagher received his MBA from Pennsylvania State University and is a CFA charter holder.
