Dropbox, Facebook, Occulus, Nest, Apple and Eva Longoria to speak at Web Summit

Tech CEO's and founders gather at Europe's largest technology festival

Today, the Web Summit in Dublin revealed the names of a host of new speakers who will join the likes of Peter Thiel - Partner at Founders Fund and Facebook's first investor, Drew Houston - Founder and CEO of Dropbox, John Sculley former CEO of Apple and Tony Fadell Founder and CEO at Nest at Europe's largest technology festival.

Founded in 2010, this festival of ideas has grown to over 20,000 attendees with guests from across 100 countries in Dublin on November 4^th- 6^th. The Web Summit has become the defining tech event for Europe, bringing together the titans of industry and the next wave of new startups.

This year, the event will host the opening of the Nasdaq market which will see An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, the Irish Prime Minister open the US market live on stage in front of an audience of over 4,000.

Keynote speakers include:

• Peter Thiel, Facebook's first investor
• Tony Fadell, Founder of Nest
• Drew Houston, Founder of Dropbox
• John Sculley, former CEO of Apple
• Mark Pincus, Founder of Gaming Giant Zynga

Within this event there will be a number of summits dedicated to topics that are essential to the world we live in today.

The Marketing summit will have a range of speakers who are changing the face of marketing as we know it, they include:

• John Hayes, CMO of American Express
• Andy Markowitz, Global Digital Strategy Director of General Electrics

The Machine summit will examine the future of connected devices and the internet of things. Speakers confirmed for this stage include:

The Builders summit is wholly dedicated to the people and companies behind developing the technology that is fundamentally changing the way we live. Speakers confirmed for this stage include:

The Enterprise summit will explore the future of Enterprise systems and infrastructure through speakers such as:

This year the Web Summit will broaden its scope and  take a focused and dedicated look at the role of technology across film, food, sport and music and will have stages focussed on each of these topics.
