Brian Daly, Director -- Core & Government/Regulatory Standards at AT&T, co-editor and one of the work group leaders on the paper commented, "The wireless world has transformed dramatically through the several generational changes that have occurred. The future of 5G will bring about significant advancements in the way our world communicates; therefore, this paper provides an Americas approach to 5G and how it will enable new services and devices, connect new industries and empower new user experiences."
Pearson concluded, "Just as the Americas region has strived to lead the efforts in furthering 4G technologies from the very beginning, 5G is naturally the next step which will call for strong leadership by the region. 4G Americas has partnered with FierceWireless to offer a free webinar, 4G Americas Offers Recommendations on 5G Requirements and Solutions, as the association sets the course for 5G based on conclusions in the paper and invites audience questions.
