EVN AG reached an agreement with the government of the city of Moscow
regarding the sale of the Moscow sodium hypochlorite plant pursuant to
which Mosvodokanal, the water supply and waste water disposal company of
the city of Moscow, will take over the sodium hypochlorite plant from the
project company of EVN AG, WTE Projektgesellschaft Natriumhypochlorit mbH.
The sales price of EUR 250 million corresponds to the investment costs,
including expected earnings contributions, of EVN Group. The sale of the
sodium hypochlorite plant is subject to certain closing conditions being
met.

Upon completion of the sale of the Moscow sodium hypochlorite plant, EVN AG
will withdraw its notification of damages vis-à-vis the Federal Republic of
Germany. The notification of the damage claim was filed on account of the
guarantee for direct investments by the Federal Republic of Germany, as
reported by means of an ad-hoc announcement on February 7, 2014, including
associated developments, which were reported on September 4, 2014.
