    COLUMBUS, IN--(Marketwired - January 21, 2015) - Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) today announced that Tony Satterthwaite, Vice President, President - Cummins Power Generation, will become President of the Company's Distribution Business Unit, succeeding Vice President and President Pamela Carter who is retiring. Antonio Leitao, Vice President - Power Products for Cummins Power Generation, will succeed Tony Satterthwaite as the leader of that business unit. Both assume their new roles, April 1.

    Satterthwaite has been leading Power Generation since 2008. He has been with Cummins since 1988, serving in a variety of roles with that business unit. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 1982 and received a Master's degree in Business Administration from Stanford University in 1988.

    Leitao worked for a French company in the power generation business before joining Cummins in 2002. He graduated from the University of Brittany in France with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 1986. He received an Executive Master's degree in Business Administration from Stanford University in 2007.

    A native of Portugal and a citizen of France, Leitao was Director of Power Generation Sales and Marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, from 2002 to 2007. He then was Director - Power Generation for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific from 2007 to 2008. He served as Executive Director of Global Commercial Products from 2008 to 2011 when he became Vice President - Power Products.

    Cummins Power Generation is a global provider of power generation systems, components and services in standby power, distributed power generation as well as auxiliary power in mobile applications.

    It also provides a full range of services including long-term operation and maintenance contracts and turnkey, temporary power solutions. Power Generation sales were just over $3 billion in 2013, representing about 18 percent of the Company's total sales of $17.3 billion.
