(TSX VENTURE: UBN), one of the country's first telecommunications companies to deliver Gigabit Internet service to the home, is pleased to announce that that Geoff Hultin has been appointed as Vice-president, Corporate Sales.

Geoff brings to Urban nearly 20 years of sales, business development and product management experience in the telecommunications industry. As the VP of Corporate Sales Geoff will lead Urban's commercial sales team, drive revenue, implement sales strategies and evaluate Urban's commercial offerings to ensure alignment with the company's vision.

Prior to his appointment, Geoff held various sales roles with Allstream, a national 30,000 km. fibre network operator, where he led Unified Communications and Collaboration sales efforts in BC. His career also includes sales, business development and product management positions at Bell and Telus.
