Stuttgart, Germany, 12 October, 2016. RIB Software AG (ISIN DE000A0Z2XN6)
("RIB") partners up with Flex (previously known as Flextronics
International Ltd. or Flextronics), to form a joint venture for an
international web-based platform for construction project management,
linking design to supply and execution. The joint venture was first
announced to the public in RIB's Ad-hoc announcement on September 12, 2016.

Flex, a leading global electronics manufacturing services and supply chain
solutions company, counts amongst its clients renowned Fortune 500
companies of the consumer electronics, sports apparel, medical and software
industries. Its unparalleled global footprint spans 13 industries, each of
which contributes to Flex' revenues in excess of 1 billion USD, 16,000
suppliers in over 100 locations and 30 countries worldwide. Annually, it
produces 10,000 new products, employing more than 8,000 supply chain
management professionals who manage a material volume of 22 billion USD. It
is uniquely positioned in its industry by offering sketch-to-scale
solutions. By entering the joint venture with RIB, Flex now offers its
design, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain services and solutions
to building and housing companies.

Both companies invest 60m USD in the joint venture for an equal share of
the newly founded company.
