SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwired - Nov 28, 2016) - Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- The Presque Isle Power Plant, a 61-year-old, 344-megawatt (MW), coal-fired power plant in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, will be closed by yearend 2020 and its generation will be replaced by two planned, gas-powered power plants, the Ontonagan County Power Station and the Marquette County Power Station. Each project is 85 megawatts (MW) and has a total investment value (TIV) of about $128 million.
