Bench International Search Inc. Names Friederike Sommer Senior Vice President, Based In Zurich As Global Life Sciences Industry Undergoes Reinvention

LOS ANGELES, March 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- To meet current challenges of the global Life Sciences industry in today's climate of reinvention, Friederike ("Fred") Sommer was recently appointed Senior Vice President for Bench International Search Inc., a performance and milestone retained executive search and consulting company specializing in the Life Sciences industry. Sommer, based in Zurich, will expand Bench International's Europe and "Rest of World" presence with her leadership and development experience and established career in the Life Sciences industry.

In 2007, Sommer founded HBA Europe (Healthcare Businesswomen's Association), a global non-profit to further the advancement and impact of women in healthcare. Today there are chapters in Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. She has spent more than 20 years working in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry worldwide and across divisions as a senior trainer and coach focusing on developing, directing and implementing a wide range of global initiatives and trainings.
