    Change in the Supervisory Board of MediClin AG

    Offenburg, 31 October 2014 - By resolution of 23 October 2014, the local
    court of Freiburg i. Br. (Amtsgericht Freiburg i. Br.) appointed the
    economist Mrs Irmtraut Gürkan and the businessman Rainer Laufs as members
    of the Supervisory Board representing the shareholders of MEDICLIN
    Aktiengesellschaft.

    Mrs Irmtraut Gürkan has been Business Director of Universitätsklinikum
    Heidelberg since 2003, prior to which she held the position of Business
    Director of Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt. In addition to sector
    expertise, Mrs Gürkan has operational experience and strategic competencies
    in line with what the healthcare market expects of its key personnel. Mrs
    Gürkan was a member of the Advisory Board of MediClin AG for many years.

    Rainer Laufs gained most of his professional experience in the Shell group.
    All in all, he spent 30 years working for the group in Germany and abroad.
    His last position was Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Shell
    AG. Mr Laufs has been working as a freelance consultant since 2005; he sits
    on the Supervisory Boards of Asklepios Kliniken Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH
    and Asklepios Kliniken GmbH.

    Mrs Gürkan and Mr Laufs will succeed Dr. Daniel von Borries and Dr. Jochen
    Messemer, who have resigned from the Supervisory Board with effect of 4
    September 2014.

    Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MediClin AG,
    would like to thank both gentlemen for many years of trusting and
    successful cooperation.
