In the first quarter of the financial year 2015 the Salzgitter Group
generated external sales of EUR 2.3 billion, reflecting a stable
performance over the previous quarter, and posted a pre-tax profit of EUR
51.8 Mio. (first quarter of 2014: EUR -8.7 million). This figure includes a
positive EUR 3.1 million contribution from the Aurubis participation (first
quarter of 2014: EUR + 8.2 million). In regard to the full year, we are now
anticipating a pre-tax result in a lower to medium double digit million
euro range.
As planned, further details on the figures of the first quarter will be
published on May 13, 2015.
The publication is based on the current "Guidelines for Issuers"
(Emittentenleitfaden) of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority
(BaFin).
