Annual volume in the mid single-digit millions - Supply of optically
high-quality components to leading German automotive group - Operational
implementation begins 2015
Göttelborn, Germany, 19 May 2015. Nanogate AG, a leading international
integrated systems provider for high-performance surfaces, has been awarded
a major new order for its subsidiary, Vogler, acquired in 2014. The annual
sales volume will run into the mid single-digit million range. The
multi-year agreement encompasses the supply of optically high-quality
components to a German automotive group in the premium segment based in the
south of Germany. The operational implementation of the order will begin in
the current financial year.
Ralf Zastrau, CEO of Nanogate AG, commented: "Our new subsidiary, Vogler
GmbH, has established itself in a very short time as an important part of
the Nanogate Group and is contributing significantly to sales and earnings.
The major, new, multi-year order worth several million underlines the good
positioning of the surface specialist, whose range of services ideally
complements Nanogate's existing technology portfolio. At the same time, the
new order brings us closer to our objective of further optimising Vogler's
order mix, while also expanding our system business. In parallel, the
Nanogate Group is continuing to move towards its medium-term sales target
of EUR 100 million and towards greater profitability. As part of this
process, intensified organic growth is playing a central role in our Phase5
growth strategy."
Within the scope of the multi-year order, Nanogate is acting as innovation
partner to the automotive manufacturer, making its entire system available.
The high-quality, decoratively enhanced and metallised components, which
meet the highest quality requirements, are used on the exteriors of premium
cars.
Nanogate acquired a 100 % stake in surface specialist Vogler in the summer
of 2014. The company is specialised in technically demanding coatings for
decorative and transparent multifunctional surfaces and is known as an
