CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Feb. 9, 2016) - Cortex Business Solutions Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CBX)(OTC PINK:CTPNF) (the "Company") announces the conclusion of its Annual General and Special (AGM) meeting for the year ended July 31, 2015, held on January 27, 2016. At the meeting, new Company President and CEO, Joel Leetzow, took attendees through a review of the state of the business while offering insights into the Company's go-forward plan.

At the Annual and Special General Meeting, the following resolutions were passed with 42.59% of shareholders represented by proxy or in person:

Approval of the total number of Directors at five (5) for the upcoming fiscal year
Approval and Ratification of the 2016 Stock Option Plan of the Corporation
Approval of the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditors for the upcoming fiscal year
Re-election of the Board of Directors:
- Randy Henderson - Chairman of the Board
- Grant Billing
- Scott Lamacraft
- Mark Ripplinger
- Joel Leetzow
