Generational handover on the VIB Vermögen Managing Board

Neuburg an der Donau (pta042/30.05.2016/15:30) - May 30, 2016 - The Chief Executive Officer of VIB Vermögen AG, Ludwig Schlosser, has today informed the company's Supervisory Board that he is choosing not to continue his tenure on the Managing Board for age-related reasons. As a result, he will step down from the Manag-ing Board of VIB Vermögen as of December 31, 2016. He will, however, continue to remain involved with the company in an advisory capacity and as a shareholder. Schlosser, one of the co-founders of VIB Vermögen, has served on the Managing Board since 2000 and was ap-pointed Chief Executive Officer in 2009. During this period, VIB Vermögen has successfully pursued a course of sustainable growth.

This decision completes the generational handover at the helm of VIB Vermögen that was initi-ated back in 2013. As of January 1, 2017, the Managing Board of the company will comprise serving members Martin Pfandzelter (Real Estate) and Holger Pilgenröther (CFO). Pfandzelter has been a Managing Board member since 2014 and, in his future role as CEO, will focus chiefly on operating business. Pilgenröther was appointed to the Managing Board in 2013 and, as CFO, will continue to be primarily responsible for the company's financial affairs. In future, both Managing Board members will intensify efforts to drive forward the company's strategic development, thus safeguarding future growth.
