CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - June 2, 2016) - BMO Bank of Montreal will reopen its two branches in Fort McMurray today in accordance with the safe re-entry plan set forth by the Government of Alberta and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The branches had been closed since May 4 as a result of the wildfires in the community.

Earlier in May, BMO announced a relief program for BMO customers in the community, which includes:

Various options on deferral of personal loan payments and personal mortgage loan principal and interest payments
Special accommodations for BMO Bank of Montreal commercial customers affected by the fire, which are being developed on a case-by-case basis

BMO Bank of Montreal customers are invited to contact or visit the nearest local branch, or call the customer contact centre 1-877-225-5266 for further assistance.
