Baden-Baden, December 06, 2016: GRENKE AG (ISIN DE000A161N30) announces the
acquisition of all shares of Europa Leasing GmbH. A binding purchase
agreement was concluded for the acquisition and has already been approved
by GRENKE AG's Supervisory Board. The transaction, which will have a volume
in the low double-digit million euros, is still subject to the necessary
regulatory approvals.

Europa Leasing GmbH has a business model similar to that of GRENKE AG and
has a strong focus and sales expertise in the area of lease financing of
medical equipment. This acquisition presents an ideal way for GRENKE AG to
gain access to additional market potential in Germany and Europe. With
activities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Europa Leasing GmbH is in a
leading position in its market segment.

Europa Leasing GmbH will continue to be led by its existing Managing
Directors Nadine Wagner and Dominik Bahner. This will ensure that the
sector expertise and established relationships of Europa Leasing GmbH will
remain within the company. Managing Director Günter Schwarz, the founder
and previous sole owner of Europa Leasing GmbH, will leave the company at
his own request.
