additional 4 drill holes to test below the historic Macuchi mine at depth and along strike. Results from these 4
drill holes were pending as of writing of this release. Soltoro currently holds a 100% interest in the La Tortuga
property.

Zum konkreten kleineren Einstieg haben mich folgende News bewogen, nachdem Soltoro schon seit einiger Zeit auf meiner WL ist und der Wert derzeit recht gut in mein "Beuteschema" passt:

Soltoro drills 37.5 m of 2.72 g/t Au at El Rayo

2010-03-08 09:52 ET - News Release

Mr. Andrew Thomson reports

SOLTORO DRILLING RETURNS 37.5 METRES OF 2.72 GPT GOLD & 10.5 METRES OF 236 GPT SILVER AT EL RAYO

Soltoro Ltd. has resumed drilling of the El Rayo leachable gold zone at its El Rayo property in Jalisco, Mexico. To date, trenching and drilling have identified a 1,065-metre-long zone, of which the northernmost 250-metre section has been drilled to a depth of 150 metres. A prior diamond core intersection (in hole Ray07-35) was twinned with a reverse circulation rig to determine which of the two drilling methods is better suited for drilling in this zone to achieve the most representative recovery rates due to variations in the water table. The RC hole returned a similar interval of mineralization at a higher grade as follows:

Drilling is continuing on the portion of the El Rayo structure south of the 250 metre section referred to above. A total of 14 shallow reverse-circulation (RC) drill holes and 14 deeper diamond core holes, in the wetter intervals, will be completed over 14 sections at 50 metre line spacings. The first diamond core hole will twin one of the earlier, deeper RC holes where the mineralized interval was entirely below the water table, in order to evaluate whether there was a loss of recovered gold in the RC holes.

At the Highway Zone a total of 14 RC drill holes were completed with a view to including results in the NI 43-101 resource report being prepared for a 1 km section of the Las Bolas structure. Further drill results from the Highway Zone, beyond those announced in News Release 66 on February 16, 2010, returned the following selected results:

Assaying from this program was completed by ALS Chemex through their office in Guadalajara, Mexico. Gold was analyzed using a 30g fire assay with AA finish while the silver is analyzed using a four acid "near total" digestion package. Mr. Terence J. Bottrill, P.Eng., a consultant, member of the advisory board of the Company and a qualified person as defined by NI 43- 101 has reviewed and approved the contents of this press release. Field supervision of the El Rayo project is provided by Mr. Chris Lloyd, M.Sc., Vice President, Exploration.

SOLTORO COMPLETES SHALLOW HOLE DRILLING ON EL RAYO GOLD ZONE
Soltoro Ltd. recently completed 12 shallow reverse circulation drill holes on the northwest end of El Rayo structure to test a 700-metre-long oxide gold zone that was initially identified through trenching and which extends south of the 300-metre-long strike drilled in November, 2009. The holes were drilled at a 50-metre spacing to a downhole depth of 96 metres. Prior diamond core drilling returned up to 2.72 grams per tonne gold over 37.5 metres within the 300 m long strike. Select results from the recent drilling are given in the accompanying table.

Results from the shallow hole drill program served to confirm that structure continues over the additional 700 metres as well as for the entire 1,000 metre initially identified through trenching. The structure pinches and swells both along strike and at depth. Follow-up drilling is being considered to better understand the potential at depth.
Mapping to the south of the El Rayo Mine area has delineated three separate mineralized structures, namely: the previously identified El Camino vein which has now been traced over a 1 km strike length; the newly identified Esmeralda vein; and the La Loma stockwork zone. Sampling and trenching has been completed for the El Camino and Esmeralda epithermal banded veins, both of which are anomalous in gold, silver and copper, while assays are pending for the La Loma stockwork samples. A 0.7 metre chip-channel sample from El Camino assayed 2.56 gpt gold, while a second sample, a further 275 metres along strike, assayed 2.7 gpt gold from a 1.0 by 1.0 metre chip panel. Samples from a dump from an old working assayed 11.65 gpt gold and 493 gpt silver. Samples from the Esmeralda vein were anomalous along the entire 1,075 metres which was sampled with a high of 0.90 gpt gold from a 1.0 by 2.0 chip panel. Both veins are pinching and swelling along strike with an average width of about 1 m with swells up to 3 or 4 metres wide. Detailed mapping has also been completed along the surface portion of the Catarina Mine on the El Rayo structure south of the gold zone, with a view to carrying out a follow-up drill program in this area.
The NI 43-101 compliant resource report on Las Bolas zone has been slightly delayed so that it can include tonnage estimates for the Highway Zone and 300 m El Rayo gold zone.
Assaying from this program was completed by ALS Chemex through their office in Guadalajara, Mexico. Gold was analyzed using a 30g fire assay with AA finish while the silver is analyzed using a four acid "near total" digestion package. Mr. Terence J. Monday May 03 2010 - News Release
Mr. Andrew Thomson reports
SOLTORO REPORTS NI 43-101 SILVER RESOURCE AT ITS EL RAYO PROJECT IN JALISCO, MEXICO
Soltoro Ltd. has received an indicated and inferred mineral resource estimate for its Las Bolas mineral deposit on its 100-per-cent-owned El Rayo silver-gold project in Jalisco, Mexico. At the cut-off grade of 40 grams per tonne silver the indicated mineral resources are 9.47 million tonnes at an average grade of 76.3 g/t Ag containing approximately 23.2 million ounces of silver, and 1.8 million tonnes of inferred mineral resources at an average grade of 68.9 g/t silver, containing approximately 4.1 million ounces of silver. The mineral resource estimate was prepared by an independent consultant and is compliant with National Instrument 43-101. The resource is based on a total of 84 drill holes, consisting of 12 diamond drill core and 72 reverse circulation.
The deposit consists of a northeast trending, 40 degree northwest dipping body, approximately 40 metres thick extending down dip from surface to more than 200 m below the surface and 800 m along strike. The resource is in an area of low relief with no environmental sensitivity, close to established infrastructure, thereby making it amenable to rapid development as a new open-pit mine.
Soltoro President and CEO, Andrew Thomson, comments "The initial Las Bolas resource estimate indicates the potential for the El Rayo project to host a significant primary silver deposit. A 15,000 metre reverse circulation drill program is continuing in order to expand the oxide silver and oxide gold resources around historical mine areas as well as numerous associated structures, geophysical anomalies and alteration zones which are yet to be fully explored for their near-surface potential."
In addition to the resources at its Las Bolas deposit, Soltoro is actively exploring additional mineralized zones elsewhere on its 100% owned El Rayo property. These include:
-- The southern extension of the Las Bolas Structure in an area close to the historical Matachines mine with an additional Inferred Mineral Resources of approximately 400,000 tonnes at an average grade of 65 g/t Ag containing approximately 850,000 ounces of silver. This resource is based on a total of 6 drill holes, 2 diamond drill core and 4 reverse circulation.
-- Highway Zone: Potential for 2 million to 2.3 million tonnes grading 73 g/t Ag to 78 g/t Ag, containing approximately 5.3 million to 5.7 million ounces of silver. This calculation is based on a total of 16 reverse circulation drill holes.
-- El Rayo Structure Northern Extension: Potential for one million to 1.1 million tonnes grading 0.9 g/t Au to 1 g/t Au and 14 g/t Ag to 15 g/t Ag, containing approximately 33,000 to 34,000 ounces of gold and 450,000 to 500,000 ounces of silver. This calculation is based on a total of 8 drill holes, 2 diamond drill core and 6 reverse circulation.
-- The Catarina mine area, the largest of the historical mines on the El rayo property, extends for approximately 500 metres along strike over a vertical extent of over 100 metres. From 1978 to 1981 a Mexican government agency completed surface trenching, underground sampling and development as well as surface and underground drilling from which they derived a historical resource.
Soltoro considers the potential quantity and grade of the material at the Highway Zone and the El Rayo Structure Northern Extension to be conceptual in nature, that there has been insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and that it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in discovery of a mineral resource.
The estimated resources are based on a silver price of US $16.00/ounce and a metallurgical recovery based on un- optimized tests of 65% of the contained silver with minimum block sizes of 5 metres vertical. The resource classifications are based upon the CIM definitions. Cut grades were determined by truncating all assays above 200 g/t Ag to 200 g/t Ag. Mineral Resources are estimated over a minimum 5 metres vertical thickness at an estimated bulk in-situ density of 2.5 tonnes per cubic metre. Tonnage and average grade values are rounded. The Mineral Resources are contained within a conceptual open-pit mine at a silver price of US $16.00/ounce. Indicated Mineral Resources include blocks within a 40 metre search radius of a drill intersection, and Inferred Mineral Resources include blocks within a 65 metre search radius as well as blocks in the hanging-wall of the main deposit.
The Mineral Resources are reported at the cut-off grade of 40 g/t Ag, as recommended by the independent consultant. Tonnage and average grades estimates were reported as shown in the accompanying table.

"In addition to deeper drilling, further metallurgical testing is planned with a view to improving recoveries and cut-off grades to grow the mineral resource at Las Bolas," added Mr. Thomson.
The report from the independent consultant recommends that Soltoro continue to explore for silver and gold mineralization elsewhere on its extensive El Rayo property, particularly along strike and at depth from the Las Bolas deposit.
A copy of the full resource estimation report will be available on the SEDAR website within 45 days of this news release. The mineral resources estimated were completed by Hrayr Agnerian, M.Sc. (Applied), P.Geo. of Agnerian Consulting Ltd. Mr Agnerian is the Qualified Person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects of the Canadian Securities Administrators and has verified the data disclosed in this release.

SOLTORO COMMENCES DRILLING AT HIGH GRADE GOLD-SILVER VICTORIA PROJECT
Soltoro Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SOL) has started a 1,500 metre diamond drill program at its 100% owned gold silver Victoria Project in Jalisco, Mexico. High-grade gold silver mineralization at the historic Lupita Mine is in quartz veins within dilation zones along north-northeast trending regional fault zones. The program is designed to test below the Lupita Mine and a gold in soil anomaly north east of the Lupita Mine.
In 1997, sampling by a Canadian-listed junior mining company of the upper levels returned up to 28.4 g/t gold and 1,280 g/t silver from grab samples. Samples taken from the mine dump returned up to 23.3 g/t gold and 3,545 g/t silver. The strike length of the Lupita Mine vein system at surface is 150 metres. In April of 2009, Soltoro identified a 500 metre long gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly which returned up to 1.23 g/t gold in a similar dilation zone approximately 600 metres north-east of the Lupita Mine.
The Victoria Project covers a large portion of the historic Mascota-Navidad mining district. Mining of this gold-silver district dates back to the mid 1500's and was most active at the turn of the 19th century. A series of north-south trending quartz veins were mined from numerous historic high-grade gold silver mines. At Soltoro's 100% owned Lupita Mine, near surface high-grade gold silver mineralization was mined historically over 1 to 2 metre widths at surface. High-grade veins up to 6 metres wide at 87 metres below surface were reported in historical data. The high-grade gold-silver veins were mined down to a depth of 230 metres over 11 levels.
Assaying from the 2009 Soltoro sampling program was completed by ALS Chemex through their office in Guadalajara, Mexico. Gold was analyzed using a 30 g fire assay with AA finish while the silver is analyzed using a four acid "near total" digestion package. Mr. Terence J. Bottrill, P.Eng., a consultant, member of the advisory board of the Company and a qualified person as defined by NI 43- 101 has reviewed and approved the contents of this press release. Field supervision of the Victoria project is provided by Mr. Chris Lloyd, M.Sc., Vice President, Exploration.

Dear Shareholders:
As Soltoro entered 2009 the main objectives were to recapitalise, maintain our project portfolio and
retain key management to weather the financial crisis. Since that time we have completed $3.7 M in
financings; added two geologists for a total of six in the field; set up an advisory board; and defined a
significant primary silver resource at the El Rayo Project. The Company is focused on developing the
silver and gold potential at El Rayo with 15% of its time devoted to explore its other projects. We will
continue to seek partners for these projects and carry out select drill programs in order to enhance their
value. Our strategy is to grow the resource at El Rayo while maintaining our significant property position
in Jalisco State, Mexico. Jalisco remains one of the more prospective underexplored states in Mexico
where Soltoro holds district scale property positions in five of the most important historic districts.
At our 100% owned El Rayo Project, the Company has completed in excess of 18,000 metres of drilling
and successfully defined a NI 43-101 primary oxide silver resource. On the north east trending Las Bolas
structure, at a cut-off grade of 40 g/t silver, Soltoro outlined an Indicated Mineral Resource of 9,470,000
tonnes at an average grade of 76.3 g/t Ag containing approximately 23.2 million ounces of silver and
an Inferred Mineral Resources of 2,200,000 tonnes at an average grade of 68.9 g/t Ag containing
approximately 4.1 million ounces of silver. The Company also made a new discovery at the Highway
Zone with a target deposit potential of 2 million to 2.3 million tonnes grading 73 to 78 g/t Ag containing
approximately 5.3 million to 5.7 million ounces of silver. Deeper drilling and further metallurgical testing
are planned with a view to growing the mineral resource in these zones.
On the north west trending El Rayo structure, Soltoro is carrying out a resource drill program at the
Catarina silver mine to redefine and expand the most significant historical silver resource on the property.
In 2009, Soltoro drilled an oxide gold zone on the northern extension of the El Rayo structure which
identified a target deposit potential of 1.1 million tonnes grading 0.9 g/t to 1 g/t gold gold and 14 to 15
g/t silver, containing approximately 33,000 to 34,000 ounces of gold and 450,000 to 500,000 ounces
of silver. Soltoro has located other gold and silver rich structures scheduled for drilling in 2010.
Soltoro acquired the Lupita Mine within our Victoria claim in order to drill test for mineralization at depth
below the mine and along strike. The Lupita Mine is a high-grade gold silver mine within the Mascota-
Navidad district where mineralization occurs in dilation fault jogs. The Lupita property was acquired with
a view to further defining gold silver resources in Jalisco state.
In 2009 the Company continued to seek partners for the balance of its properties and conducted numerous
property tours in addition to newsletter writter and analyst/broker tours. While we were unable
to secure exploration partners for our projects we were able to raise significant funding and Soltoro is
confident new partners will be found to explore the balance of its portfolio.
I would like to thank Soltoro’s management, employees, directors and advisory board for all their support
in 2009 without whom our success in defining a resource would not have been possible. In
2010 we plan to expand the resource at El Rayo and carry out select geological programs on the balance
of our projects to generate value for Soltoro shareholders.
Sincerely
Andrew Thomson
President & CEO
