"We expect to start to communicaite our activity to the market. I have a technical report (a 43-101 compliant report) on Xochipal nearing completion and which will soon be released. Permitting for drilling and the start of exploration at Xochipala will follow"

Niogold begins metallurgical testing at Marban
2015-02-19 01:56 ET - News Release
Mr. Michael Iverson reports
NIOGOLD LAUNCHES METALLURGICAL TESTING PROGRAM AND BOOSTS DRILLING TO 50,000 METRES ON MARBAN
Niogold Mining Corp. has initiated a metallurgical testing program on the Marban gold deposit on Niogold's 100-per-cent-owned Marban block property, that will include bottle-roll tests for a potential carbon-leaching circuit, as well as column-leach tests, to evaluate potential for an inexpensive in situ heap leach operation. All results are expected to be available before the end of third quarter 2015. Six gold-mineralized samples of about 100 kilograms each, ranging in average grade from 0.36 gram per tonne to 2.03 g/t gold, were sent to SGS Canada Inc. for 60-day column-leach tests.
Additionally, a series of 50 samples, ranging in grade from 0.3 to 3.0 g/t Au, will be sent to SGS for bottle-roll cyanidation tests by month-end. All samples are composed of gold-mineralized material hosted by sheared mafic to ultramafic volcanic units within the Marban deposit. Finally, due to significant cost savings realized on the current 40,000-metre Marban infill drilling program (see news release dated Jan. 16, 2015, outlining results of the first 15 holes), the program has been increased to 50,000 metres that will allow better definition along a 25-by-25-metre drilling pattern within the modelled open-pit shell. This will result in a more reliable and potentially increased measured and indicated resource of the deposit in an updated resources estimate scheduled to be released in fourth quarter 2015.
Technical information, quality assurance/quality control and qualified person
Drill program design and monitoring, core logging, and sample preparation are being executed at Niogold's facilities in Val d'Or under the supervision of Yan Ducharme, MSc, PGeo (OGQ), Niogold's vice-president of exploration, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. QA/QC program utilized is consistent with NI 43-101 and industry best practice standards. This news release was prepared by Mr. Ducharme.

wäre ein schönes Szenario
Bin mal gespannt, was Gold macht.

Niogold drills 15.8 m of 4.95 g/t Au at Marban
2015-02-25 20:07 ET - News Release
Mr. Robert Wares reports
NIOGOLD DRILLS 15.8 METRES AT 4.95 G/T AU AT MARBAN
Niogold Mining Corp. has provided the results of 18 new diamond drill holes of its infill program on the modelled open-pit shell of the Marban deposit, located on its 100-per-cent-owned Marban block property in the Malartic gold camp, Abitibi district, Quebec. The drill program was recently increased from 40,000 metres to 50,000 m (see news release dated Feb. 19, 2015).
Drilling highlights from this set of holes include:
28.1 metres at 1.38 grams per tonne Au in hole MB-14-359 at a vertical depth of 245 m;
1.2 metres at 74.38 g/t Au in hole MB-14-369 at a vertical depth of 95 m;
27.6 metres at 1.5 g/t Au in hole MB-14-371 at a vertical depth of 130 m;
0.8 metre at 32.65 g/t Au in hole MB-14-371 at a vertical depth of 365 m;
15.8 metres at 4.95 g/t Au, including 4.2 metres at 12.58 g/t Au, in hole MB-14-372 at a vertical depth of 120 m;
9.8 metres at 6.07 g/t Au in hole MB-14-372 at a vertical depth of 275 m;
5.2 metres at 5.26 g/t Au in hole MB-14-374 at a vertical depth of 50 m.
All intersections reported in this news release were comparable or higher grade than anticipated intersections from the existing in-pit block model, except for new zones of mineralization not included in the current block model, such as 0.8 m at 32.65 g/t Au in hole MB-14-371, and other intersections labelled new in the attached table.
Robert Wares, Niogold's president and chief executive officer, commented: "These results show the broad range of widths and grades that reflect high-grade shoots surrounded by lower-grade halos that characterize the wider, mineralized shear zones in the Marban deposit. Higher-grade short intercepts, such as 74.38 g/t Au over 1.2 m in hole MB-14-369, represent richer, narrower shears that will help improve the average grade of the overall resource. The added 10,000 metres to the program will allow us to increase drilling density, especially on the eastern part of the pit shell, which will yield a more robust resource model scheduled to be released by early [fourth quarter] 2015."
Results from holes MB-14-357 to MB-14-374 are summarized in the attached table.

These 18 new holes have a cumulative length of 6,578 m, and they infill the centre-east part of the deposit over a strike length of 450 metres. To date, the results of 33 holes of the program have been released for a total of 11,568 metres. The infill program is progressing rapidly with three drills and is 50 per cent complete with about 25,000 metres drilled. Further assay results will be released as they become available.
Technical information, quality assurance/quality control and qualified persons
Drill orientations are roughly perpendicular to dip of mineralized zones, and true widths of mineralized zones represent minimum 90 per cent of reported core intervals.
Diamond drill holes were drilled with NQ-size core, except for holes that traversed underground workings, which were completed using BQ-size core. The core was sealed and delivered by the drilling contractor to Niogold's facilities located at the Norlartic mine site. The core was photographed for reference and logged, and mineralized sections were sawed in half. Sample lengths vary between 0.5 m to 1.5 m. Half-core samples were bagged, sealed and delivered to Actlabs in Ste. Germaine Boule, Que., which is an accredited laboratory. The remaining core is stored on site for reference. Samples were assayed by the fire assay method using an atomic absorption finish on a 50-gram pulp split. A quality assurance and quality control program (QA/QC) was implemented by Niogold and the laboratory to insure the precision and reproducibility of the analytical method and results. The QA/QC program includes the insertion of standards, blanks and field duplicates in the sample batches sent to the laboratory, and a systematic reassaying of samples returning values above three g/t Au by fire assay using a gravimetric finish. As well, pulps grading above 0.5 g/t Au or mineralized intervals are sent to Bourlamaque Assay Laboratories Ltd. in Val d'Or for check assaying.

At the 2015 PDAC International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange, held last week, Resource Investing News was able to speak with Dale Paruk who’s in charge of investor relations at NioGold Mining (TSXV:NOX). Exploration company NioGold’s flagship projects are in the Abitibi gold belt in the Cadillac-Malartic-Val-d’Or region.
In the video below, Paruk discusses some highlights from 2015 drill results from the Marban deposit, located at the company’s Marban Block property. “The important part of it is that this is very tight spacing, only 25-meter drill holes, and that will allow us to increase the reliability of the results in the pit, and hopefully increase from resources into reserves,” he explains.
He also touches on the company’s cost-cutting efforts and explains the goal of 2015 drilling at Marban. In closing, Paruk gives some insight into how NioGold has managed to enjoy such a significant share price rise in 2015 — at the time of the interview it was up about 58 percent since the beginning of the year. “Last summer we did a private placement with Osisko Gold Royalties (TSX:OR), and they’re very well respected in the mining area. And also three new directors have joined the company from Osisko,” he said, adding, “it’s bringing in a different class of investors.”

Niogold drills 38.3 m of 1.51 g/t Au at Marban
2015-04-06 17:58 ET - News Release
Mr. Michael Iverson reports
NIOGOLD DRILLS 1.51 G/T AU OVER 38.3 METRES AT MARBAN
Niogold Mining Corp. has released the results of 16 new diamond drill holes of its infill program on the modelled open-pit shell of the Marban deposit, located on Niogold's 100-per-cent-owned Marban block property in the Malartic gold camp, Abitibi district, Quebec. Drilling highlights from this set of holes include:
1.16 grams per tonne gold over 15.2 metres, including 9.13 g/t Au over 1.1 m in hole MB-14-375 at a vertical depth of 140 m;
1.51 g/t Au over 38.3 m in hole MB-14-378 at a vertical depth of 210 m;
14.61 g/t Au over 1.2 m in hole MB-14-378 at a vertical depth of 250 m;
11.57 g/t Au over 0.9 m in hole MB-14-385 at a vertical depth of 50 m;
19.46 g/t Au over 1.0 m in hole MB-14-385 at a vertical depth of 80 m;
20.76 g/t Au over 1.9 m in hole MB-14-390 at a vertical depth of 125 m.
This new series contains drill holes in the western, eastern and central portions of the deposit. The new holes located in the western part are designed to complete the 25-metre infill pattern on each section, as well as between the 50-metre-spaced drill sections. Several holes intersected the extensions of lenses that include mainly inferred and, in some cases, indicated resources. In the attached table, the intercepts labelled "new" should allow for the definition of new lenses.
Robert Wares, Niogold's president and chief executive officer, stated: "In an open-pit context, all intercepts likely to form continuous zones are interesting since those lenses could generate futures resources in areas within the modelled pit shell that currently contain little or no resources. The new intercepts demonstrate upside and that the Marban deposit is characterized along its whole length by high-grade zones surrounded by lower-grade halos."
With these 16 new holes totalling 5,325.9 metres, a total of 49 drill holes for a cumulative length of 16,894 metres have been assayed and released. These holes are spread over a strike length of 1,075 metres of the Marban deposit. Of the 50,000-metre infill drill program, a total of 33,000 metres of drilling have been completed so far.

Half core samples were bagged, sealed and delivered to Actlabs in Ste. Germaine Boule, Que., which is an accredited laboratory. The remaining core is stored on site for reference. Samples were assayed by the fire-assay method using an atomic absorption finish on a 50-gram pulp split.
Drill program design and monitoring, core logging, and sample preparation are being executed at Niogold's facilities in Val d'Or under the supervision of Yan Ducharme, MSc, PGeo (OGQ), Niogold's vice-president exploration and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. QA/QC program utilized is consistent with NI 43-101 and industry best practice standards. This news release was prepared by Mr. Ducharme.

Geomega completes PEA flow sheet for Montviel
2015-04-29 07:36 ET - News Release
Mr. Simon Britt reports
GEOMEGA RESOURCES INC.: THE BLOSSOMING OF MONTVIEL
Geomega Resources Inc. has completed the preliminary economic assessment process flow sheet for its Montviel rare earth elements and niobium project. The final process flow sheet has been developed and optimized by the Geomega team to ensure sustainability in REE mining. Validation testing of the lab-scale key unit operations of the process flow sheet starting from Montviel ore all the way to the production of mixed REE concentrate and niobium oxide were supervised by G Mining Services Inc. at the company's National Research Council Canada laboratory facility in Boucherville, Que.
"Chasing sustainability in developing Montviel's process flow sheet proved to be a 3-1/2 years assignment. The company has achieved very interesting feature of recovering both rare earth elements and niobium values in a closed-loop scheme where hydroelectric energy and process water are used efficiently. What is really major is that only conventional flotation reagents and make up quantities of sodium chloride (salt) will be introduced on site," comments Ahmed Bouajila, vice-president, metallurgy and mineral processing, of G Mining Services Inc.
Metallurgical performances to be included in the PEA
Pursuant to the March 2, 2015, news release, the supervision and validation of the key unit operations of the Montviel project process flow sheet by G Mining Services has been completed. Following the compilation of the metallurgical testing results with METSIM simulation of the complete process in the coming month, the company will disclose the metallurgical performances of the elements below:
Rare earth elements and niobium recoveries;
Consumables per metric ton of ore.
Updated National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate
Following the disclosure of the metallurgical performances, the company will publish an updated National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate considering the existing 36,000 metres of diamond drilling information, anticipated operating costs and metallurgical recoveries.
National Instrument 43-101 disclosure
Ahmed Bouajila, PEng, vice-president, metallurgy and mineral processing, of G Mining Services, is the qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines who supervised and approved the preparation of the technical information of the metallurgical performances section in this news release.
Alain Cayer, PGeo, MSc, vice-president, exploration, of Geomega, is the qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines who supervised and approved the preparation of the technical information of the updated resource estimate section in this news release.
About the Montviel rare earth element and niobium project
The Montviel project, 100 per cent owned by the company, is located approximately 100 kilometres north of Lebel-sur-Quevillon and 45 kilometres west of the Cree First Nation of Waswanipi in the urbanized southern part of Northern Quebec. Montviel benefits from permanent access, public infrastructure and skilled labour in the immediate project area. The initial National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate according to an open-pit mining scenario published in September, 2011, identified (base case) 445,958 tonnes of neodymium oxide in the indicated category and 160,347 tonnes of neodymium oxide in the inferred category.

Niogold Mining drills 4.8 m of 40.42 g/t Au at Marban
2015-05-07 08:40 ET - News Release
Mr. Robert Wares reports
NIOGOLD DRILLS 40.42 G/T AU OVER 4.8 METRES AT MARBAN
Niogold Mining Corp. has released the results of 20 new diamond drill holes of its infill program on the modelled open-pit shell of the Marban deposit, located on Niogold's 100-per-cent-owned Marban block property in the Malartic gold camp, Abitibi district, Quebec.
Drilling highlights from this set of holes include:
-40.42 g/t Au over 4.8 m in drill hole MB-15-391 at 110 m vertical depth.-25.05 g/t Au over 1.2 m in drill hole MB-15-393 at 225 m vertical depth.-159.13 g/t Au over 1.0 m in drill hole MB-15-393 at 255 m vertical depth.-5.83 g/t Au over 6.7 m in drill hole MB-15-398 at 120 m vertical depth.-8.51 g/t Au over 9.7 m in drill hole MB-15-406 at 225 m vertical depth.-16.51 g/t Au over 5.2 m in drill hole MB-15-410 at 250 m vertical depth.-26.35 g/t Au over 1.2 m in drill hole MB-15-410 at 300 m vertical depth. The above highlights are all included within the modelled pit shell, with the exception of drill holes MB-15-393 and MB-15-410.
Robert Wares, NioGold's President and CEO, stated: "High-grade intersections that are located outside the modelled pit shell indicate a potential for increasing the in-pit resource within an enlarged shell. Alternatively, we will follow up on these intersections for their underground mining potential, which will require additional targeted drilling."
With these twenty new holes totaling 6,489.5 metres, a total of 69 drill holes for a cumulative length of 23,383.5 meters have been released. These new holes are spread over a strike length of 150 meters in the western portion of the Marban deposit completing a 25 metre-spaced drilling pattern as well as on two sections in the eastern portion which are now drilled at every 25 metres.
Of the 50,000 meter infill drill program, a total of approximately 43,000 metres of drilling has been completed so far. The remaining 7,000 metres of the program will fill in the last gaps along the sections to complete the 25 metre-spacing on them.
Results from holes MB-15-391 to MB-15-410 are summarized in the table below, where intercepts labelled "New" should allow for the definition of additional mineralized lenses:
WARNING: Unable to parse this table - please refer to original document 1 : Marban local grid A map showing the location of the best results is available at: Marban Block Best Results (right click, open hyperlink)
A longitudinal showing the new best results obtained on the Marban deposit is available at: Marban Deposit Longitudinal Section (right click, open hyperlink) Technical Info, QA/QC and Qualified Persons Drill orientations are roughly perpendicular to dip of mineralized zones and true widths of mineralized zones represent minimum 90% of reported core intervals.
Diamond drill holes were drilled with NQ-size core, except for holes that traversed underground workings which were completed using BQ-size core. The core was sealed and delivered by the drilling contractor to NioGold's facilities located at the Norlartic mine site. The core was photo-graphed for reference, logged and mineralised sections were sawed in half. Sample lengths vary between 0.5 to 1.5 metres. Half core samples were bagged, sealed and delivered to Actlabs in Ste Germaine Boule, Quebec, which is an accredited laboratory. The remaining core is stored on site for reference. Samples were assayed by the fire-assay method using an atomic absorption finish on a 50-gram pulp split. A quality assurance and quality control program (QA/QC) was implemented by NioGold and the laboratory to insure the precision and reproducibility of the analytical method and results. The QA/QC program includes the insertion of standards, blanks and field duplicates in the sample batches sent to the laboratory and a systematic re-assaying of samples returning values above 3 g/t Au by fire-assay using a gravimetric finish. As well, pulps grading above 0.5 g/t Au or mineralized intervals are sent to Bourlamaque Assay Laboratories Ltd. in Val-d'Or for check assaying.
Drill program design and monitoring, core logging and sample preparation are being executed at NioGold's facilities in Val d'Or, under the supervision of Yan Ducharme, M.Sc., P.Geo. (OGQ), NioGold's Vice-President Exploration and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. QA/QC program utilized is consistent with NI 43-101 and industry best practice standards. This news release was prepared by Mr. Ducharme. NioGold Mining Corporation - On Canada's Golden Highway NioGold Mining Corporation is a mineral exploration and development company focused on gold. The Company's projects are located in the heart of Quebec's prolific Abitibi gold mining district. Niogold recovers average 88.3% Au at Marban
2015-07-06 08:27 ET - News Release
Mr. Michael Iverson reports
NIOGOLD REPORTS PRELIMINARY LEACH TEST RESULTS AT MARBAN
Niogold Mining Corp. has released the results of 50 bottle-roll leach tests on representative mineralized core samples from the Marban deposit, located on Niogold's 100-per-cent-owned Marban block property in the Malartic gold camp, Abitibi district, Quebec.
Samples were ground to an average of 65 microns and leached for 36 hours, similar to leaching conditions at the nearby Canadian Malartic mine. Results indicate an average recovery of 88.3% over a grade range of 0.22 to 4.40 g/t Au (avg. 1.39 g/t Au) with average cyanide (NaCN) consumption of 0.17 kg per tonne. Results are summarized below for four sample populations:
Number ofGrade Range Avg. Grade Avg. P80NaCN Consumption Recovery RangeAverage Recovery
Samples (calc. g/t Au)(calc. g/t Au)microns kg/t Au % Au %
8 0.22 - 0.50 0.37 62.3 0.13 83.3 - 93.8 89.5
23 0.51 - 1.50 0.90 65.8 0.18 78.6 - 96.1 89.7
14 1.51 - 2.50 2.07 64.0 0.19 71.9 - 98.1 85.4
5 2.51 - 4.40 3.34 66.4 0.16 81.3 - 98.0 88.1
Average 0.22 - 4.40 1.39 64.8 0.17 - 88.3
Four samples in the 1.20-2.30 g/t Au range gave poor results (less than 78% recovery), possibly due to the presence of coarser gold grains. Check analyses will be performed on these samples to confirm results. If these four samples are excluded from the set, the average recovery is 89.5% with a range of 81.3% to 98.0% across the entire sample population. Robert Wares, P. Geo., Niogold's President and CEO, stated: "Leach results from this first run of samples are excellent. Average recovery around the 88-89% mark is comparable to Canadian Malartic ore under similar leach times and cyanide consumption levels. More importantly, the average recoveries at Marban are close throughout the four sample populations, giving a flat grade/recovery curve with no significant drop in lower grade material. This is a very positive feature of the deposit and will be confirmed with additional testing."
An additional set of fifty samples will be sent at for leach tests at SGS Mineral Services in order to confirm preliminary test results and improve statistics on the grade/recovery curve. Technical Info, QA/QC and Qualified Persons
Metallurgical program design and monitoring are being executed under the supervision of Mr Christian Laroche, P. Eng. and Mr. Yan Ducharme, M.Sc., P.Geo. (OGQ), Niogold's Vice-President Exploration, both Qualified Persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Metallurgical testing and analyses were performed at SGS Mineral Services in Lakefield, Ontario. QA/QC program utilized is consistent with NI 43-101 and industry best practice standards. This news release was reviewed and approved by Mr. Laroche and Mr. Ducharme.

Ducharme.

Wegen mir kanns jetzt wieder up gehen. Ging zwar zäh, hab aber was ich will...

Particulars of the Transaction
Under the terms of the Arrangement Agreement, holders of NioGold Shares ("NioGold Shareholders") will be entitled to receive 0.4167 common shares of Oban ("Oban Shares") in exchange for each NioGold Share held, representing an implied offer price of $0.50 per NioGold Share and a premium of approximately 51.5% based on the closing price of Oban Shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange ($1.20) and NioGold Shares on the TSX Venture Exchange ($0.33) on January 8, 2016 (being the last trading day prior to the announcement of the Arrangement).
The Arrangement will require the approval of at least 66 2/3 percent of the votes cast by NioGold Shareholders at a special meeting expected to take place in March 2016 (the "NioGold Meeting"). NioGold Shareholders representing approximately 38.8% of the issued and outstanding NioGold Shares have entered into voting and support agreements with Oban in support of the Arrangement. Oban Shareholders representing approximately 35.5% of the issued and outstanding Oban Shares have entered into voting and support agreements with Oban in support of the Arrangement. The board of directors of Oban, on the recommendation of its independent special committee (the "Oban Special Committee"), has unanimously approved the Arrangement and will recommend that Oban Shareholders vote in favour of the Arrangement.
The Arrangement Agreement includes covenants typical of transactions of this nature, including with respect to non-solicitation, a right granted to Oban to match superior proposals for NioGold and a provision entitling NioGold to a fiduciary-out. In addition, NioGold and Oban have each agreed to pay a termination fee to the other party upon the occurrence of certain events.
Full details of the Arrangement will be included in the joint management information circular of NioGold and Oban describing the matters to be considered at the NioGold Meeting and Oban Meeting, respectively, which is expected to be mailed to the NioGold Shareholders and Oban Shareholders in early February 2016 and made available on SEDAR under the issuer profiles of each of NioGold and Oban at www.sedar.com.

da muss man
3.Great Bear Res.
-JV mit OR bzgl. Lac Pau Gold Project, Quebec
