Trevali Prices CDN$30.07M Underwritten Offering of Units and Flow-Through Shares

Trevali Mining Corporation ("Trevali" or the "Company") (TSX: TV)(OTCQX:TREVF)(BVLAC:TV)(FRANKFURT:4TI) announced today that the Company has priced and executed an underwriting agreement with a syndicate of underwriters led by Raymond James Ltd. and including M Partners Inc., GMP Securities L.P., Scotia Capital Inc., and Paradigm Capital Inc. (collectively, the "Underwriters") in connection with a previously announced offering of units (the "Units") and flow-through common shares ("FT Shares") (together, the "Offering"). A short form prospectus of the Company will be filed with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada. The Units will be priced at CDN$0.90 and will consist of one common share in the capital of the Company (a "Common Share") and one half of one common share purchase warrant (each whole purchase warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one Common Share at a price of CDN$1.10 for a period of two years following the closing of the Offering. The FT Shares will be priced at CDN$1.00 per FT Share.

The final Offering size will consist of CDN$10,000,000 in FT Shares and CDN$20,070,000 in Units for total gross proceeds of CDN$30,070,000. In parallel with this Offering, a private placement of up to CDN$3,000,000 of units, at the same price of the Offering will be completed with Kallpa Securities SAB of Lima, Peru ("Kallpa") to qualified South American investors on a commercially reasonable best-efforts basis (the "Peruvian Offering"). The total size of the Offering and Peruvian Offering, assuming the Peruvian Offering is fully allocated, will be CDN$33,070,000. A cash commission will be paid on the proceeds of the Peruvian Offering to Kallpa as consideration for arranging the private placement. Completion of the Peruvian Offering is subject to customary conditions including, but not limited to, the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The net proceeds of the Offering and Peruvian Offering will be used for construction expenditures at the Halfmile Property and the Santander Property, to repay principal and interest on an outstanding loan in the amount of US$8,400,000 to Cardero Resource Corp., to prepare, if required, a mill feasibility study at the Halfmile-Stratmat Property, to engage a preliminary economic assessment at the Ruttan Property, and for general working capital purposes. The proceeds of the FT Shares will be used for exploration expenditures, which will constitute Canadian exploration expenses as defined in the Income Tax Act (Canada) at the Halfmile Property.

The Offering and Peruvian Offering is expected to close on or about November 10, 2011, subject to certain conditions, including regulatory approval and approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Nun, vielleicht geht es nach diesem drill program

      to a higher confidence category

      auch zu einem höheren Kursziel:

Press Release Source: Trevali Mining Corporation On Friday October 28, 2011, 9:00 am EDT

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire -10/28/11)- Trevali Mining Corporation ("Trevali" or the "Company") (TSX: TV.TO - News)(OTCQX: TREVF.PK - News)(PINK SHEETS: TREVF)(BVLAC: TV.TO - News)(Frankfurt: 4TI.F - News) is pleased to announce that it has commenced a diamond drill program at its Stratmat polymetallic massive sulphide deposit in New Brunswick, Canada The program will consist of approximately 5,000 metres of core drilling and is intended to convert a significant portion of the estimated independent National Instrument 43-101 compliant 5.5 million tonne(i) inferred resource grading 6.11% Zinc, 2.59% Lead, 0.40% Copper, 54.21 g/t Silver, and 0.62 g/t Gold to a higher confidence category.

Initial resource conversion drilling will focus on thicker, high-grade intervals within the principal zones identified to date - examples are listed in Table 1 and illustrated in Figure 1.

      Halleluja. :O

Trevali Completes Downhole Geophysical Survey on Magistral Deposits, Santander Mine Project in Peru

Results Indicate the Presence of a Large Conductive Body Coinciding With and Extending From Deepest Mineralized Intercept to Date

Press Release Source: Trevali Mining Corporation On Monday October 24, 2011, 9:41 am EDT

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire -10/24/11)- Trevali Mining Corporation ("Trevali" or the "Company") (TSX: TV.TO - News)(OTCQX: TREVF.PK - News)(Frankfurt: 4TI.F - News)(BVLAC: TV.TO - News) is pleased to announce the results of an in-hole geophysical survey (DownHole ElectroMagnetics - DHEM) designed to image and target the geophysical responses from the Magistral deposits at depth and along-strike. Results of the survey conducted by Val D'Or Geophysics are interpreted to reflect the presence of a large mineralized body extending approximately 500 metres from known mineralization in the Magistral Deposits including drill hole SAN-173 which intercepted high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization at approximately 450 metres below the Magistral North deposit at 750 metres vertical depth (see NR 11-26 for details).

Six drill-holes were surveyed for a total of 7,914 metres using a 21-channel Crone EM Transmitter/Receiver unit with readings collected every 10 metres.

Petrophysical modeling - that is the measurement of the geophysical properties and characteristics of representative geological units and known mineralization (magnetic susceptibility, electromagnetic conductivity, galvanic resistivity and chargeability) - was also measured to aid in subsequent modeling and interpretation.

The DHEM results display a strong correlation (direct relation) with mineralization (pyrrhotite gangue) within which significant quantities of zinc-lead and silver mineralization occur in the defined Magistral deposits (Figure 2).

To view the two Figures associated with this News Release, please click the following link: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/tv_Doc.pdf.

The geophysical response (EM) in the three deepest Magistral holes drilled to date (SAN-0170, 0173 and 0174 - see NR 11-26 for details) is constant and suggests the presence of a large geophysical conductor at depth and extending from and to the south-east for approximately 500 metres (Figure 1 & 2). The core of geophysical anomaly as presently defined is centred to the south of Magistral North and below the Magistral Central and South deposits suggesting that mineralization may merge at depth.

It should be noted that the geophysical anomaly remains open - the size of the anomaly and the distance it can be imaged or 'seen' is a limitation of the geophysical method - simply the amount of power available to charge the conductive body.

While the presence of a large geophysical anomaly spatially associated with known mineralization is encouraging the Company strongly cautions that the anomaly requires drill testing and geochemical analysis of any results in order to confirm whether significant mineralization may be present - no value may be assigned to the anomaly at this juncture in time - that is it remains an early stage exploration target.

Two exploration holes are currently targeting the anomaly at approximately 600-700 metres vertical depth and contingent on results additional drilling and geophysical surveying may be required going forward.

      ABOUT TREVALI MINING CORPORATION

Trevali is advancing two polymetallic (zinc-lead-silver-copper) deposits to production in Canada and Peru - the Halfmile and Santander projects respectively. In Canada, Trevali has the Halfmile and Stratmat polymetallic deposits near Bathurst, New Brunswick, and the Ruttan copper-zinc deposit in northern Manitoba. Mine development is underway at Halfmile with a proposed production rate of 2,000-tonnes-per-day anticipated to commence in late 2011. In Peru, the Company has the Santander zinc-lead-silver mine project and the formerly-producing Huampar silver mine, both located in the Central Peruvian Polymetallic Belt.

At the planned 2,000-tonne-per-day Santander operation, in conjunction with Glencore International A.G., mine commissioning is anticipated to commence in early 2012 with full production to follow immediately thereafter. Additionally through its subsidiary Trevali Renewable Energy Inc., Trevali is undertaking a significant upgrade of its wholly-owned Tingo run-of-river hydroelectric generating facility along with transmission line upgrades and extensions to allow, in addition to supplying power to the mining operation on the property, the potential sale of surplus power into the Peruvian National Energy Grid.

The common shares of Trevali are listed on the TSX (symbol TV), the OTCQX (symbol TREVF) and on the Lima Stock Exchange (symbol TV). For further details on Trevali, readers are referred to the Company's web site (www.trevali.com) and to Canadian regulatory filings on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.

Qualified Person and Quality Control/Quality Assurance

EurGeol Dr. Mark D. Cruise, Trevali's President and CEO and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has supervised the preparation of the scientific and technical information that forms the basis for this news release. Dr. Cruise is not independent of the Company, as he is an officer and shareholder.

The work programs at Santander were designed by, and are supervised by, Mark D. Cruise, President & CEO, Trevali, Tim Kingsley (Senior Geologist) and Tansy O'Connor-Parsons (Chief Geochemist), who together are responsible for all aspects of the work, including the quality control/quality assurance programs. On-site personnel at the project rigorously collect and track samples which are then security sealed and shipped to ACME Laboratories, Vancouver, for assay. ACME's quality system complies with the requirements for the International Standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17025: 1999. Analytical accuracy and precision are monitored by the analysis of reagent blanks, reference material and replicate samples. Quality control is further assured by the use of international and in-house standards. Blind certified reference material is inserted at regular intervals into the sample sequence by Trevali personnel in order to independently assess analytical accuracy. Finally, representative blind duplicate samples are routinely forwarded to ACME and an ISO compliant third party laboratory for additional quality control.

Such forward-looking statements and information include, but are not limited to statements as to: the accuracy of estimated mineral reserves and resources, anticipated results of future exploration, and forecast future metal prices, anticipated results of future electrical sales and expectations that environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, socio-economic, political, marketing or other issues will not materially affect estimates of mineral reserves. These statements reflect the Company's current views with respect to future events and are necessarily based upon a number of assumptions and estimates that, while considered reasonable by the Company, are inherently subject to significant business, economic, competitive, political and social uncertainties and contingencies.

These statements reflect the Company's current views with respect to future events and are necessarily based upon a number of assumptions and estimates that, while considered reasonable by the company, are inherently subject to significant business, economic, competitive, political and social uncertainties and contingencies. Many factors, both known and unknown, could cause actual results, performance or achievements to be materially different from the results, performance or achievements that are or may be expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements contained in this news release and the company has made assumptions and estimates based on or related to many of these factors. Such factors include, without limitation: fluctuations in spot and forward markets for silver, zinc, base metals and certain other commodities (such as natural gas, fuel oil and electricity); fluctuations in currency markets (such as the Peruvian sol versus the U.S. dollar); risks related to the technological and operational nature of the Company's business; changes in national and local government, legislation, taxation, controls or regulations and political or economic developments in Canada, the United States, Peru or other countries where the Company may carry on business in the future; risks and hazards associated with the business of mineral exploration, development and mining (including environmental hazards, industrial accidents, unusual or unexpected geological or structural formations, pressures, cave-ins and flooding); risks relating to the credit worthiness or financial condition of suppliers, refiners and other parties with whom the Company does business; inadequate insurance, or inability to obtain insurance, to cover these risks and hazards; employee relations; relationships with and claims by local communities and indigenous populations; availability and increasing costs associated with mining inputs and labour; the speculative nature of mineral exploration and development, including the risks of obtaining necessary licenses and permits and the presence of laws and regulations that may impose restrictions on mining,; diminishing quantities or grades of mineral reserves as properties are mined; global financial conditions; business opportunities that may be presented to, or pursued by, the Company; the Company's ability to complete and successfully integrate acquisitions and to mitigate other business combination risks; challenges to, or difficulty in maintaining, the Company's title to properties and continued ownership thereof; the actual results of current exploration activities, conclusions of economic evaluations, and changes in project parameters to deal with unanticipated economic or other factors; increased competition in the mining industry for properties, equipment, qualified personnel, and their costs. Investors are cautioned against attributing undue certainty or reliance on forward-looking statements.

Although the Company has attempted to identify important factors that could cause actual results to differ materially, there may be other factors that cause results not to be as anticipated, estimated, described or intended. The Company does not intend, and does not assume any obligation, to update these forward-looking statements or information to reflect changes in assumptions or changes in circumstances or any other events affecting such statements or information, other than as required by applicable law.

Trevali's production plans at Halfmile-Stratmat and Santander are based only on Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources and not Mineral Reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. Inferred Mineral Resources are considered too speculative geologically to have the economic considerations applied to them that would enable them to be categorized as Mineral Reserves, and there is therefore no certainty that the conclusions of the production plans and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) will be realized. Additionally where Trevali discusses exploration/expansion potential, any potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource.

The TSX has not approved or disapproved of the contents of this news release.
