na siehste,
geht doch
weiter so,
buy low - sell high
alles andere ist nur wischi-waschi,
was unter dem strich bleibt ist entscheidend.

WaMu: Deal With Regulator Does Not Require Capital Raise
15:50
By Marshall Eckblad
OF DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- The chairman of Washington Mutual Inc.s (WM) board of
directors said on Monday that the firms agreement with federal regulators,
stemming from Sundays ouster of Chief Executive Kerry Killinger, does not
require WaMu to raise new capital.
Stephen Frank, WaMus chairman, made the comments during a conference call
with investors on Monday to introduce the Seattle-based thrifts new CEO, Alan
Fishman.
When WaMu announced Killingers departure on Sunday, the bank simultaneously
said that it had entered into an agreement with the Office of Thrift
Supervision, the banks regulator, to provide the OTS an updated, multi-year
business plan and forecast for its earnings, asset quality, capital and
business segment performance.
Frank and Fishman disclosed few details during the call about WaMus current
financial condition, or Fishmans plan for the troubled firm.
I know I need to hit the ground running, said Fishman. He declined to
elaborate further, given that hes been the CEO for only a matter of hours,
he said.

Washington Mutual Inc. (WM) jumped 19 premarket as the companys board asked
Chief Executive Kerry Killinger, who helped build WaMu into the nations
largest thrift and then presided over its rapid decline, to retire. The move
makes him the latest casualty of the mortgage crisis. Succeeding Killinger will
be Alan Fishman, currently chairman of New York commercial mortgage broker
