http://www.rarc.wisc.edu/services/bioquell.html
1.Hydrogen peroxide does not work well on absorptive materials. Remove animal bedding, books, folders, papers, cardboard boxes, paper towels, etc.
2.Seal all air vents.
3.Surfaces should be reasonably clean and dry. NOTE: Bioquell Z applies a layer of hydrogen peroxide to surfaces only; it will not decontaminate under computers or cages, inside closed desk drawers or cupboards, etc.

A/S stimmen, bisher knapp 400 Mio.
...a third round of trials was announced in mid-October. These trials are being conducted to establish the precise protocols necessary in order to obtain maximum bactericidal action in combination with minimum turn-around times in keeping with normal hospital flow patterns. Simultaneously, a development prototype is being finalized in order to conduct a full room scale hospital mock up.

MRSA Breakthrough Announced for AsepticSure™ Hospital Sterilization System
Posted by Medizone International, Inc. • November 10, 2009 • Printer-friendly
San Francisco, California, November 10, 2009
Medizone International, Inc. (MZEI.OB) announces that following several months of research, AsepticSure™ can now achieve a level of bacterial decontamination heretofore unseen in open space settings using conventional means.
Dr Michael E. Shannon, Director of Medical Affairs, Medizone International stated, "our research team has pressed hard over the last few months to systematically evaluate various decontamination options involving numerous technological approaches in combination, and to our surprise, we have managed reliably and predictably to break through the 6 log barrier with MRSA. This unexpected development will significantly expand the utility for AsepticSure™, since by definition, any bacterial reduction beyond 6 logs (99.9999%) is considered STERILIZATION.
This unique combination of technologies and protocols will now be tested on C difficile, E coli, Pseudomonas aeruginous, and VRE with the expectation that AsepticSure™ will achieve the same degree of incremental improvement over the 4 to 5 log reductions we have already demonstrated with those pathogens in earlier trials.”
Medizone International is preparing a second patent filing to cover these developments while construction and instrumentation of an expanded laboratory setting at the company’s Innovation Park, Queens University laboratory continues in preparation for full room scale-up testing of its equipment to commence in December.
About Medizone International, Inc.
Medizone International, Inc., is a research and development company engaged in developing its’ AsepticSure™ technology to decontaminate and sterilize hospital surgical suites, emergency rooms, intensive care units, schools and other critical infrastructure. Current trials are now being expanded to include a hospital mock-up to be followed by hospital beta testing. Initial sales are targeted to commence early in 2010.
Forward Looking Statement
This Press Release contains certain forward looking statements that involve substantial risks and uncertainties, including, but not limited to, the results of ongoing clinical studies, economic conditions, product and technology development, production efficiencies, product demand, competitive products, competitive environment, successful testing and government regulatory issues. Shareholder Update from the Chairman
December 16, 2010
CHAIRMAN’S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
What an amazing and interesting year it has been for Medizone. Being part of something as rewarding, globally significant and indisputably pro-humanitarian as Medizone’s Asepticsure™ sterilization technology is proving to be quite a journey.
Our original concept of sterilizing hospitals with the anticipated benefit being reduced incidence of hospital acquired infections, largely preventable staph (MRSA) and other infections that now cost greater than 100,000 lives annually in the United States alone, along with millions of lives globally, has grown beyond any expectation we originally envisioned. Where we once saw a global market for hospital sterilization, we now see global industries of pathogen free sterilization processes.
Starting on the hospital side of the house, a first round of sucessful hosptial beta testing was reported at Hotel Dieu Hospital, an ambulatory care teaching and research hospital affiliated with Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on October 20th. The next phase of beta testing will begin in early 2011 in conjunction with a bio-medical engineering study that is underway to confirm the safe deployment of the AsepticSure™ technology within all hospital environments. In parallel with the above, as part of our plan towards product launch, final development of the commercial device will commence in early 2011. This commercial device is expected to be fully compliant with both North American and European Union regulatory requirements and intended to facilitate the entry of the device into those markets. We are also in the final stages of identifying our production partner for this aspect of the program. Announcements may be expected around mid- January.
The bio-terrorism countermeasures, clean room sterilization and food industry applications require technology of somewhat different specification and increased scale. For some commercial applications these will not be portable systems, but larger capacity permanently installed units. This has evolved into a fully separate area of development from the hospital specific equipment. The Company is now prepared to accept commercial orders for specialty built units for each of these applications and has communicated as much to interested parties. The interest being shown and the steps forward currently underway, with both government and private industry interests, make it increasingly clear that initial sales likely will come from these areas as we move into an exciting and productive 2011.
Finally, let me address what management and many shareholders perceive as a currently weak share price. From the Home page of the Medizone website please go to stock quotes. On the stock quote page click on Charts, and then pull up a two-year chart of Medizone stock performance. What you will observe is an approximate 800% gain in share price over two years. The bottom trend line indicates a very strong consolidation with a promising upward curve. Given what the Company knows is currently underway and what will be transpiring as we move into 2011, it seems pretty obvious this stock has powerful potential. I ask you, what other companies with this kind of promising future do you own that are up 800% over the past two years?
May everyone enjoy a blessed holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

Patent Protection Granted For The Elimination of Anthrax
Medizone International, Inc. (QB) (OTCBB:MZEI)
Intraday Stock Chart
Heute : Mittwoch 29 Januar 2014
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Medizone International, Inc. (The Company) (MZEI:OB, MZEI:QB) has just been granted its fourth patent for its revolutionary enclosed space room disinfection system, AsepticSure. The United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued US Patent number 8,636,951 titled BIO-TERRORISM COUNTERACTION USING OZONE AND HYDROGEN PEROXIDE.
Following on the heels of patent protection being established for its health care related patent applications, the Company has now been awarded a patent for its government variant of AsepticSure intended for use by defense agencies as a response to a biological attack on critical buildings, infrastructure and resources.
Dr. Michael E. Shannon, Medizone International's President explained, "At our Innovation Park, Queens University laboratories, we have been successful in completely eliminating Bacillus atropheus and Bacillus subtilis, both internationally recognized study surrogates for Anthrax, one of the most difficult weaponized pathogens to kill. Being able to eliminate these surrogates for Anthrax with our technology almost assures we now have the ability to remediate critical public infrastructure following a biological attack and restore it to service without damaging important and expensive equipment including communications systems. Militaries have struggled with this problem for decades and, until now, this simply has not been possible."
"To now have patent protection granted for this system," stated Edwin Marshall, Medizone's CEO, "should allow the Company protected access to a potentially lucrative government market due to the unique capability of AsepticSure's government variant."
This Press Release may contain certain forward looking statements that could involve substantial risks and uncertainties, including, but not limited to, the results of ongoing clinical studies, economic conditions, product and technology development, production efficiencies, product demand, competitive products, competitive environment, successful testing and government regulatory issues.
Additional risks are identified in the company's filings made with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

was soll denn da so besonderes dran sein ??

Chairman’s Shareholder Update – February 2014
In my view, this might be the most important shareholder update I have had the privilege to write. As a result of the recently reported 6-month follow up at Belleville General Hospital, the two most frequently asked questions - questions that have repeatedly been asked by medical professionals and hospital administrators - have now been answered. How often do we need to clean a room with AsepticSure® and how do we justify the cost?
This past summer Belleville General Hospital suffered a MRSA outbreak that had infected 7 patients on a 14-bed ward. According to the hospital’s Chief of Staff, “On average we have had one or two new MRSA cases per month on the ward.”
AsepticSure was brought in and the outbreak was immediately quashed. A 6-month review - following a single AsepticSure cleaning last summer - revealed there had not been a single new case of MRSA on the ward since the disinfection!
These results have demonstrated two very important things. First, the answer to the often-asked question of 'cleaning frequency.' In our laboratories we have repeatedly demonstrated that if bactericidal kill is intentionally limited to 99.9% (3 log), then in a few hours the remaining 0.1% of bacteria begins growing back and in just five days it can be measured at full strength. This fact is a reason why hospitals continue to struggle with reinfection issues. Until AsepticSure there simply was not a way to obtain 100% bactericidal kill in a hospital room using currently accepted cleaning protocols. This is a core reason why hospitals have continued to endure the endless cycles of never-ending new infections. The source of infection had never been fully eliminated. The 6-month Belleville results have demonstrated that AsepticSure has the potential to break the reinfection cycle! Belleville demonstrated that in a real world hospital environment you can break the bacterial regrowth cycle, just as has been demonstrated in our laboratories, by obtaining a 100% kill with AsepticSure. When all of the bacteria are killed, the bacterial regrowth cycle is halted.
We now believe an AsepticSure disinfected room will remain safe until a new bacteria is introduced into the room from another source. Following AsepticSure disinfection there simply is no bacteria left in the room that can regenerate and infect again! Thus the answer to the cleaning frequency question is becoming clear. While additional cleanings would always be encouraged to provide a positive preventative measure, simply cleaning rooms known to house an infected patient following their discharge or movement from the room can make a world of difference! In the example at Belleville General, a single cleaning made 6-months of MRSA free difference!
As for the How do I justify the cost of the system question, again using the Belleville General Hospital example, the financial savings by avoiding six or more infections over 6-months (based on the previously reported new infection averages by the hospital’s Chief of Staff of one to two new infections per month) equates to a savings that would more than pay for the system. The United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) places the cost of treating each new hospital acquired infection at $25,000. Using the CDC figure, AsepticSure would have justified the cost of acquisition and it was only used one time in the 7 rooms!
The business case has been made! The cost / benefit analysis clearly works. AsepticSure is proving it can greatly reduce infection rates while retaining significant financial resources through obvious cost avoidance.
Based on a few key telephone calls placed to my office by hospital administrators in the United States inquiring about early adoption following the January 23rd press release, the medical community appears to be arriving at the same conclusion.
US Market Entry
Now that our health care and bioterrorism countermeasures patents have both been Granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and we have been given FDA clearance as a Class 1 medical device, we are close to entry into the US market. Only EPA approval remains. While no one dare predict the timing of a government agency action, it would appear our EPA application is once again moving forward in a positive direction, as reported by our regulatory team.
As with many new inventive technologies that break barriers that once looked impenetrable, this journey has taken a bit longer than we anticipated. However, the potential rewards now look to be greater than we had ever before envisioned.
Best regards,
Ed

Hello Mr. .........
The EPA moves at its own speed. We long ago submitted to the EPA and have diligently followed up every step of the way.
Here is the latest from the Chairman’s letter issued on Monday:
"Only EPA approval remains. While no one dare predict the timing of a government agency action, it would appear our EPA application is once again moving forward in a positive direction, as reported by our regulatory team.”
The fact that it is once again moving forward is positive. I wish we could give you a date.
While we cannot comment on share price, in that same Chairman’s Update Mr. Marshall also noted that hospitals administrators are calling in asking about it now that they have seen the Company news of January 23rd.
Thank you,
