Dear Shareholder,
We have reached a significant and exciting milestone on Mindoro's road to becoming a revenue generating company and rebuilding value for our shareholders. As announced on August 15, 2014, the Agata joint venture has signed an offtake agreement to sell one million metric tonnes of high-iron/low-nickel direct shipping ore (DSO) material between September 2014 and September 2015. US$2 million advance payments have been received by the joint venture, which will be used to fund initial operating costs. Construction of the port, as well as roads and other infrastructure, are well advanced and the first DSO shipment is expected to occur before the end of September.
Below are a few photos showing the Agata DSO development progress earlier this month.

The Agata Project is located in Agusan del Norte province, within the Surigao mining region on the island of Mindanao, Philippines. The Surigao region is a major nickel producing region providing ore to processing plants in Australia, China, Korea and Japan. The region has hosted between thirteen and fifteen DSO operations since 2011 and exported 27 million wet metric tonnes in 2013.
On September 10, 2013, Mindoro and its joint venture partner and operator of the Agata Project, TVI Resource Development Phils., Inc. ("TVIRD"), an affiliate of TVI Pacific Inc. (TSX:TVI) (OTCQX:TVIPF), released a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Feasibility Study indicating robust economics, using a sale price of US$22 per wet metric tonne (wmt), for a DSO operation of the high iron laterite resources at the Agata Project.
DSO prices are subject to seasonal fluctuations influenced by weather patterns in South East Asia. During the monsoon seasons, the rough ocean off the east coast of Mindanao peninsula prohibits shipping. DSO projects on the sheltered west coast, where Agata is situated, can ship ore 12 months a year and take advantage of seasonal price spikes.
In January 2014, Indonesia's ban on DSO exports came into effect, resulting in increases in the price of DSO high-iron nickel laterite ore to as high as >US$40/wmt in June. Recent prices have been in the range of US$28 -- US$32/wmt. The table below, taken from page 171 of the Feasibility Study, is based on a price of US$22 /wmt, and shows total free cash flows from the DSO operation to the joint venture (Mindoro having 40% interest in the joint venture upon exercise of the option described below):
CASH FLOW

Tax Paid - (5.7) (7.7) (5.6) (1.6)-(0.6) (22.8)
Total Free Cash Flow (6.9) 10.6 20.6 15.0 1.7 -- 1.1 50.7
NPV 37.9
IRR 187%
Mindoro also announced on August 15, 2014, that it has signed an option to acquire an additional 25% interest in the Agata Project, which will bring its total direct and indirect interest to 40%. Further information about the joint venture arrangements with TVIRD are available in Mindoro's October 1, 2012, press release, available on Mindoro's website (www.mindoro.com) and on SEDAR.
While we look forward to building shareholder value with the start of the DSO operation, the Agata Project presents additional growth opportunities for further cash flow. A Definitive Feasibility Study for a nickel processing facility is expected to be completed in September and the abundance of high-quality limestone on site offers the potential opportunity for limestone DSO and a lime production facility.

Bass, Oremex, Fire River, Auriga usw.
