Everything is possible....If you belive.
Everything is possible....If you belive.
Ist meiner Meinung nach in Kanada für 2012 der Übernahmekandidant schlecht hin. Nicht aus den Augen verlieren!!!
Sieht mal wieder Charttechnisch interessant aus.
Spanish Mountain learns of support for assessment
2012-01-05 12:15 ET - News Release
Ms. Caroline Legault of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency reports
FEDERAL FUNDING ALLOCATED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd. has learned the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency has allocated a total of $20,324 to two applicants to support their participation in the federal environmental assessment of the proposed Spanish Mountain Gold mine project in British Columbia.
Federal funding has been allocated to the following applicants:
Metis Nation BC;
Likely Xat'sull Community Forest and Likely District Chamber of Commerce.
This funding is provided through the participant funding program administered by the agency and is intended to support public participation in upcoming steps of the comprehensive study process, including the review and comment of the environmental impact statement guidelines, the environmental impact statement document and the final comprehensive study report.
A funding review committee, independent of the environmental assessment process, was established to assess the funding requests. The funding review committee's report, along with further information on the project, is available on the agency's website, in the Canadian Environmental Assessment Registry, under reference No. 11-03-63917.
Spanish Mountain Gold is proposing the Spanish Mountain Gold mine project which is an open pit gold mine located approximately 70 kilometres northeast of Williams Lake, B.C. The project will process approximately 40,000 tonnes per day of ore over a period of 10 years.

Spanish Mountain Gold has just announced the discovery of a new Gold Zone within the Cedar Creek region of the property. The company is calling it the “Phoenix Zone” and it currently extends over 1km in strike length located approximately 2km west of the main pit zone.
The Phoenix zone lies along the boundary of the proposed tailings facility which appears to be great news as it means the company should not have to find an alternative location for the facility. Although it is too early to say the company believes that the mineralization of the Phoenix zone resembles that of the North Pit Zone, early indications suggest it is comparable in size to the existing mainzone. The company expects to embark on a drill program in the new year to determine the overall potential and economics of this new zone.
It is important to note that the new drilling should not affect the timing of the Pre Feasibility Study scheduled for completion in April. It’s the company’s intention to complete the Phoenix Zone drilling for inclusion in the Feasibility study scheduled for late 2012.
Moving forward into the new year Spanish Mountain anticipates a host of new news starting with results from the infill program followed by the Pre-Feasibility study in April and then the Phoenix results thereafter.
Brian Groves and his management had a very successful year. In the last few months they have not only managed to secure the distinguished Don Coxe to the board but also managed to increase their resource calculation in all categories before announcing the discovery of a new Gold Zone on the property. Lets hope 2012 can be as prosperous for this Canadian junior mining company.
