Drilling is under way at Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd.'s RDP copper-gold project, located in north-central British Columbia, 40 kilometres west of the company's flagship Kliyul copper-gold project. Antofagasta Minerals SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Antofagasta PLC, can earn a 75-per-cent interest in RDP by spending $10-million on exploration over eight years and delivering a preliminary economic assessment report (see news release dated Feb. 8, 2022). Pacific Ridge is the operator and is supporting the RDP exploration program from the Kliyul camp.

DRILL PROGRAM AT KLIYUL COPPER-GOLD PROJECT TO BE INCREASED FROM 7,000 M TO 9,000 M; LARGEST EVER DRILL PROGRAM

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. is increasing the size of the diamond drill program at its 100-per-cent-owned Kliyul copper-gold project, located in the prolific Quesnel Trough in north-central British Columbia, from 7,000 metres to 9,000 metres. This will be the largest-ever drill program to take place at Kliyul.

The company is reallocating the Chuchi copper-gold project 2023 exploration budget to finance the expanded drill program at Kliyul. The 2023 British Columbia wildfire season is already the worst on record and the planned 2,000-metre diamond drill program at Chuchi had to be cancelled due to fires -- an area restriction order is in place for the Nation Lakes area, where Chuchi is located. While most of the Chuchi budget will be reallocated to Kliyul, the company plans to use some of it for an induced polarization (IP) survey at the Onjo copper-gold project, which adjoins the western boundary of Centerra Gold Inc.'s Mount Milligan mine.

The RDP copper-gold project, under option to Antofagasta Minerals SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Antofagasta PLC, is unaffected by fires and the planned 1,800-metre diamond drill program is expected to commence in August.

"Although fires prevented us from drilling Chuchi, reallocating the Chuchi budget for an expanded drill program at Kliyul dramatically increases our chances of success this year," said Blaine Monaghan, president and chief executive officer of Pacific Ridge. In addition, we can further advance Onjo, which has excellent potential for the discovery of an alkalic porphyry copper-gold deposit."..........

Field crews have been mobilized to Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd.'s 100-per-cent-owned Kliyul copper-gold project, located in the prolific Quesnel trough in north-central British Columbia. The company plans to complete 7,000 metres of diamond drilling at Kliyul this year. Additionally, Pacific Ridge is planning a 2,000 m diamond drill program at the Chuchi copper-gold project and an 1,800 m diamond drill program at the RDP copper-gold project, under option to Antofagasta Minerals SA.

Vancouver, B.C. – May 25, 2023 - Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (PEX: TSX Venture; PEXZF: OTCQB) ("Pacific
Ridge" or the "Company”) is pleased to announce the Company’s 2023 exploration plans for its 100% owned
Kliyul copper-gold porphyry project (“Kliyul”), located in the prolific Quesnel Trough in northcentral British
Columbia (see Figure 1). The exploration program will have two main objectives, 1) to expand the size of the
Kliyul Main Zone (“KMZ”) mineralized body to the southeast and into neighbouring fault blocks (see Figure 2),
and, 2) testing several high priority targets that occur along the Divide Lake Fault Trend, a highly-prospective
6-km-long alteration and mineralization corridor (see Figure 3).

“I have high expectations for this year’s drill program at Kliyul,” said Blaine Monaghan, President & CEO of
Pacific Ridge. “Our technical team, Executive Chairman Dr. Gerry Carlson, Vice President of Exploration Danette

PACIFIC RIDGE RECEIVES FINAL PAYMENT FOR FYRE LAKE

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. has received a $400,000 cash payment from BMC Minerals Ltd. for the company's Fyre Lake property, located in the Yukon. This was BMC's final payment to acquire a 100-per-cent interest in Fyre Lake. The company will be paid a further $1-million when BMC's Kudz Ze Kayah property has reached commercial production for one year.

"With over $7.6-million in the treasury, we have the financial resources to execute our 2023 exploration plans," said Blaine Monaghan, president and chief executive officer of Pacific Ridge. "This includes further expansion drilling at Kliyul, our flagship project, our first ever drill program at Chuchi, and follow-up drilling at RDP. With three drill programs planned, this will be our busiest and most exciting year ever."

Pacific Ridge plans to drill approximately 11,000 m across three copper-gold porphyry projects this year: 7,000 m at the Kliyul copper-gold project; 2,000 m at the Chuchi copper-gold project; and 1,800 m at the RDP copper-gold project (under option to Antofagasta Minerals SA).
