Kann jemand was dazu sagen ?
Kann jemand was dazu sagen ?
roten Feind in China sehen.

gtci -> 9.600 stück -> kurs unverändert

Was ist denn Gestern in New York gelaufen ?

The financials that are being reviewed in NY tomorrow by Hein LLP,Group. Once they clear-attorney okays release. Maybe GCHC news will move stock price up since company has kept rumors to a minimum."

Heißt also: Geduld Leute.

GCHC hat also Zukunft! Mittelfristig sicher ein Kauf wert.
Sieht bisher sehr gut aus. Schon +5% heute.

Hallo Leute,
Warum kaufen so viele Leute in Berlin statt in NY? Was meint Ihr?

Zahlenmäßig führt sowieso kein Weg an GCHC vorbei .
GCHC - pick of the week - strong buy

GCHC (OTC BB) Greater China Corp.
The company intends to increase its activities in the fiber
optic sector in China in line with the rapid market growth
and infrastructure development for telecommunications. The
outlook in China remains very positive and the continued
development of infrastructure has been strengthened by an
announcement from the Chinese Government in September
that $1.2 trillion will be spent on infrastructure projects to
maintain the country`s development and to help keep growth
rates around 8%. Additionally, the Ministry of Information
released figures in August 1998 showing that the post and
telecommunications sector (public element only) had shown
revenues of $13.4 billion for the first half of 1998, up 38%
on the first half of 1997 and that telecom sector spending on
fixed assets grew 79% in the same period. The Company
believes that telecom sector growth in China will remain
robust and that, with the proposed financing, the Company
can grow it operations substantially in 1999.
Look at the subsidiaries of GCHC:
Greater China Corporation (f/k/a Brighton Information
Systems Corporation is a Delaware corporation formed in 1979.
The Company has been primarily engaged in the business of selling and
integrated computer systems in Hong Kong and the
People`s Republic of China ("China". The Company
currently acts as a holding company with six (6)
wholly-owned subsidiaries. The Company also has three
subsidiaries that are in the process of being wound-up.
China to break phone monopoly : by Rebecca Sykes, IDG
News ServiceBoston Bureau April 07, 1999 China will
break its government-run telecommunications monopoly
into four companies to infuse competition into the US$28
billion telecom sector, according to a report published today.
China Telecom will be divided into separate companies
offering fixed telephone service, mobile communications,
paging and satellite communications, according to an
Associated Press report citing China`s Minister of
Information Industry. No time frame was given for the
breakup, which is seen as a concession by China in its quest
to join the World Trade Organization, according to the AP
report. China may permit foreigners to take up to 30 percent
stakes in telecommunications companies, countering
previous policy which essentially limited foreign
participation to equipment sales, the report said.
With all the expansion in China this stock is set to
fly to $10 plus in the short term.
But Do your OWN research!
from 26.04.99
The Company also wishes to address the current outstanding SEC filings which are overdue. The Company is currently auditing the prior two fiscal years (years ended March 31, 1997 and March 31, 1998) for The International Technology Group Limited (ITG) and subsidiaries which were acquired by Greater China Corporation effective April 1, 1998. Due to anomalies between ITG`s accounting records and non GAAP accounting records, the process of re-auditing the company`s accounts in GAAP format is taking more time than anticipated. The reconciliation between Chinese accounting practice and GAAP has also resulted in delays. However, this process is anticipated to be completed in the near future, at which time the consolidated audit for Greater China Corporation`s new fiscal year ended December 31, 1998, can be completed and released. The Company did not anticipate the difficulty in reconciling these two systems, but is now working to GAAP standards for current and future accounting and is working closely with its auditors and legal counsel to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
The Company announced today certain unaudited results of operations for the quarter and nine (9) month period ended December 31, 1998, which are subject to final adjustment upon completion of audits for the related periods.
The unaudited consolidated operating results for the three months ended December 31, 1998 were net revenues of $4,983,000 and a gross profit of $1,024,O00. After deduction of expenses for selling, general and administration, depreciation, finance charges and one-time expenses related to fund raising, the net profit for the period was $202,000. After an allowance for the minority interest in the Chinese manufacturing subsidiary, the net corporate profit for the period was $35,000.
The unaudited consolidated operating results for the nine month period ended December 31, 1998 were net revenues of $l5,234,000 and a gross profit of $3,149,000. After deducting expenses for selling, general and administration, depreciation, finance charges and fund raising expenses, the net profit for the period was a profit of $435,000. After allowance for minority interests, the net profit was $49,000.
These results compare favorably with results for the previous full fiscal year of ITG operations (prior to the acquisition of ITG by the Company), which ended March 31, 1998. During that year, unaudited revenues were $7.3 million with a net loss of $907,000.
Mr. Gary Robinson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Greater China Corporation, attributed the improvement in operations to a number of factors, including: results from the Company`s new manufacturing facility in China, which have exceeded forecasts; a strong increase in demand for the Company`s fiber optic telecommunications products, which it sells to more than 2,000 users in China through its proprietary catalogue and through the internet; the addition of $1.5 million working capital, through a bridge loan.
In addition, Mr. Robinson noted that, in contrast to neighboring countries in Asia, the Chinese economy has continued to expand rapidly, particularly in the telecommunications sector, which the Chinese government has designated for rapid development.
Greater China Corporation and its subsidiary, The International Technology Group, are in the business of manufacturing and distributing products and equipment related to the production, installation and maintenance of fiber optic cables. A significant portion of the Company`s sales are into the People`s Republic of China and other Asian markets.
Forward-looking statements in this document are necessarily subject to risks and uncertainties which may affect the accuracy of such statements, including risks relating to doing business in the People`s Republic of China and future economic conditions in Asia. The Company undertakes no obligation to update such factors or to publicly announce the results of any revisions to the forward-looking statements contained herein.

into four companies to infuse competition into the US$28
billion telecom sector, according to a report published today.
China Telecom will be divided into separate companies
offering fixed telephone service, mobile communications,
paging and satellite communications, according to an
Associated Press report citing China`s Minister of
Information Industry. No time frame was given for the
breakup, which is seen as a concession by China in its quest
to join the World Trade Organization, according to the AP
report. China may permit foreigners to take up to 30 percent
stakes in telecommunications companies, countering
previous policy which essentially limited foreign
participation to equipment sales, the report said.
With all the expansion in China this stock is set to
fly to $10 plus in the short term.

A group of major telecommunications carriers yesterday
signed a memorandum of understanding to build a new
undersea optical cable network in Asia, the Asia Pacific
Cable Network 2 (APCN2).
The cable, as currently planned, will enter service in 2002
and land in seven countries: Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan,
Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore and also
interconnect with several other fiber cables including the
Japan-US cable network and China-US cable network.
Additional landing points may be added in the future, the
carrier said.
The APCN2 will be a self-healing ring consisting of four
pairs of fiber optic cables, designed to ensure continuous
operation should a fault develop somewhere on the
network.
It will employ dense wavelength division multiplesing
(DWDM) technology for a total capacity of 1,280
gigabits per second.
Signing the MoU were Japan`s Nippon Telegraph and

BRAND FUTURES GROUP: China 2005 -- Y&R Brand Futures Grp launches intelligence series on China now & next
JUN 21, 1999, M2 Communications - NEW YORK/HONG KONG/SHANGHAI -- Young & Rubicam`s Brand Futures Group (BFG), in conjunction with Y&R companies in Greater China (Dentsu Young & Rubicam, Burson-Marsteller, and Wunderman Cato Johnson), has created an ongoing monitor of business and consumer intelligence focused on China. The China 2005 product series is launched today with a Future Dialogue trendletter featuring data drawn from Y&R`s proprietary consumer survey of approximately 1,850 Chinese. The issue focuses on how changes in China are reshaping consumers` attitudes toward money and credit and their shopping and leisure habits.
John Fenton, managing director, China development, Y&R Inc., explains, "China is an enormous market and is getting bigger in every way. The sheer scale of it is a key factor in attempting to comprehend the country and its people, and to come to grips with the prospect of the world`s biggest single market."
Ira Matathia, Brand Futures Group CEO, adds, "The fact is, the `Middle Kingdom` is vast--not just in terms of population but in terms of physical expanse. It`s a country just slightly larger than the U.S. but with well over four times the U.S. population. Its 1.2 billion people put it head and shoulders above every other country--even India is only just approaching the 1 billion mark."
The China Project, directed by Marian Salzman, BFG`s worldwide director, is multidimensional. It includes both quantitative and qualitative data, as well as extensive analysis and futuring. The goal: to get a handle on the People`s Republic of China, both now (summer 1999) and next (2005). To ensure local insights, BFG created an editorial advisory board made up of more than 20 colleagues in Greater China. With the help of their local colleagues, board members compiled extensive insights into today`s consumer culture and into the commercial mindset of Chinese mainstream and trendsetter consumers. BFG trendscouts in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and also in Hong Kong and Taipei, fed extensive observations back to the global team compiling these reports.
A NATION DIVIDED
Marian Salzman notes, "It is not difficult to see why outsiders perceive China as a single entity with a strong sense of national pride. After all, the country has been unified politically since 221 BC, 800 million of its 1.2 billion people speak the same language--Mandarin--and all of them use the same written language." She continues, "China`s insistence that its borders embrace Tibet and Taiwan, as well as the disputed Spratly Islands in the South China Sea, can make it seem arrogant and intransigent, adding to the idea of a powerful collective will. But beneath these initial impressions lies a more complex picture."
Responses to BFG`s extensive colleague survey (note: this survey is separate from the earlier one referred to in the opening paragraph) demonstrate the degree to which the Chinese themselves (and foreigners working in the region) perceive divisions within China --both geographic based and socioeconomic in nature. Herewith a brief preview of survey responses:
* "[There is] a strong feeling of being Chinese--one way of saying `China` in Chinese is `wo guo,` which literally translates as `my country.` However, Chinese in Shanghai, for example, distrust Chinese from Guangzhou, who distrust Chinese from Beijing and so on. A feeling of nationalism fragments very quickly when challenged internally." (Barry Colman, chief representative, Wunderman Cato Johnson)
* "Level of wealth is a strong social indicator that can...segmentize this group of people. The lower the level of economic power in a region, the more [conservative] or `Chinese` people tend to be. Moving towards big cosmopolitan areas like Shanghai, you will see `Chineseness` take on a different flavor altogether." (Lau Seng Yee, general manager, DY&R Shanghai).
WCJ`s Barry Colman notes that China traditionally has been divided into areas dominated by three key cities: "Northern China (Beijing), central China (Shanghai), and southern China (Guangzhou)...Pretty soon, northeastern China will also develop (Harbin, Shenyang) [thanks to] oil fields and heavy industry." With a nod to travel writer Paul Theroux, Colman describes northern China`s residents as "friendly, fat, grain-based Chinese vodka drinkers." The central Chinese he describes as innovators and trendsetters, while the southern Chinese, being farthest from the seat of government--and the closest to historically louche Hong Kong--have a more rebellious, entrepreneurial streak.
The first report in BFG`s intelligence series on China--"The New Chinese Consumer," Future Dialogue #78--examines the emergence of a credit culture and initial evidence of Western-influenced shopping venues and consumer attitudes. Subjects BFG will explore over the next few months include the following:
* China`s Gold Rush: the desire among Chinese, young and old, to make more money. Can China balance its socialist politics with its capitalist leanings? After all, the shift from socialism to democracy drove Russia to its knees. How will China look in a democratic future?
* Cityscapes--Hong Kong Overshadowed: Most respondents to BFG`s survey agree that Shanghai is the city of the future, and will soon overtake Hong Kong. ("Shanghai is the NYC of China," said Aymeric Fraise, account manager, DY&R, Shanghai.) And, beyond Beijing and Guangzhou, what about Chongqing in central China--the country`s largest city? Could this outsider become the key city in China Next?
* Little Emperors--China`s Youth Culture: The government`s one-child policy in urban areas has bred a generation of spoiled children. These young urbanites are the future of China, setting trends such as mall shopping, cinema-going, the purchasing of foreign brands, and surfing the `Net. How do they relate to each other and to older generations?
* A People Divided--Chinese National Identity Next: A look at how the Chinese regard China. For them, it embraces not only the mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau, but also Tibet, Taiwan, and a large portion of the South China Sea. BFG will compare and contrast this national pride with the rivalry between central and south China, and the increasing cultural gap between city dwellers and the rural poor.
* After the Party: The state is gradually relinquishing control of the country`s citizens, allowing them to start their own businesses and buy their own homes. But how has this changed the Chinese? What will happen to company loyalty when employees are no longer guaranteed a job for life? Also to be explored are the potential repercussions of the state`s relaxing some of its policies and the degree to which a freer media will affect consumer behavior and preferences.
* Power to the PRC: Is China on course to becoming a superpower? After all, we`re said to be on the verge of the "Chinese century." We`ll explore factors that will assist in China`s quest for supremacy (e.g., improved human resources, better education, improved communications) and factors that will put it at a disadvantage (e.g., apathy, poverty, traditional thinking). "I never think about what will change when we are number one," said May Zhang, associate account director, DY&R, Beijing, "because I don`t think it will happen before I die."
* Facing the World: Until recently, China was a deliberately self-contained, inward-looking country. Now, increased travel opportunities and the arrival of Western products have led it to adopt a broader view. How will this trend develop? Will its rivalry with Japan persist? How will its relationship with the U.S. shape up? Are the Chinese becoming more "global," allowing advertising campaigns developed overseas to work in China? And how are Chinese brands and businesses pushing out into the world?

Chindex International Announces Exclusive Agreement With Trex Medical/XRE Division and First Sale of Trex Medical Unicath Cardiac Cath Lab in China
BETHESDA, Md., Jun 22, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- ChindexInternational, Inc. (U.S. - China Industrial Exchange, Inc.) (Nasdaq: CHDX), the largest independent American distributor of Western healthcare products and services in the People`s Republic of China, today announced an exclusive agreement with Trex Medical Corporation (ASE:TXM) for the distribution of Trex Medical Unicath cardiac catheterization labs in China.
Trex Medical is one of the world`s leading manufacturers of imaging and image processing systems used in interventional cardiac catheterization procedures such as balloon angioplasty and stent placement.
The first Trex Medical cardiac catheterization lab sold under the agreement, a Unicath C with complete workstation, will be installed this month at Weifang Hospital, a 500-bed teaching hospital. The installation will be the first cardiac catheterization laboratory in Weifang, a city of one million in Shandong province.
Roberta Lipson, President and CEO of Chindex, commented from Beijing, "Chindex has been a market leader in areas of cardiology and cardiovascular equipment in the China market for many years. Our agreement with Trex Medical marks another major product offering for us in interventional cardiology, an area of exceptional growth potential in this market."
"Thousands of cath labs built by Trex Medical have been installed worldwide and we are very optimistic about the potential for gaining a prominent position here in China. We have already placed the first Trex Medical cath lab in China at a major provincial hospital using our annual loan program with the Ministry of Public Health which is guaranteed by the U.S. Export Import Bank. The system was shipped to China early in 1999 and is being installed this month. We expect to use similar loan programs in the future for other cath lab customers. Depending on the configuration and application, the TrexMedical Unicath systems can sell for up to $1.4 million each. This represents a significant new revenue potential for us," Lipson concluded.
Walter Schneider, president of Trex Medical`s XRE division said, "We are committed to expanding sales of our products in select international markets. China is a key area of strategic focus for us. Chindex has a fine track record for sales and support of capital equipment in China spanning nearly two decades. They have established their organization as one of the foremost medical equipment distributors in China. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Chindex."
Trex Medical`s Unicath family of cardiac catheterization imaging systems utilizes the unique, patented parallelogram positioning system that has been time-proven in more than half the world`s cardiac catheterization labs.
Unique features such as Full Frame Zoom(TM), the DVFX Digital Video Filter System, and Variable Rate Pulsed Fluoro provide powerful resolution and detail, bringing difficult coronary stents into view with remarkable precision and at significantly reduced dose.

Chindex is a leading American company in healthcare in the Greater Chinese marketplace including Hong Kong and Macau. It provides representative and distribution services to a number of multinational companies including Acuson, Johnson & Johnson, and Kendall Healthcare Products Company.

CHINA: THE WORLD`S FASTEST GROWING
INTERNET MARKET
MONDAY, JUNE 28, 1999 1:00 PM EST
- PRNewswire
WASHINGTON, Jun 28, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- In 1999, Chinese Internet users will
climb from 2.1 million to more than 6.7 million. Further, by 2003, China`s Internet user base will
exceed 33 million, growing at an annual rate of nearly 60% over the next five years. These results
from the recently released report, "The Internet in China," jointly published by BDA (China) Limited
and The Strategis Group, suggest that China is already the fastest growing Internet market in Asia
and will become one of the world`s leading markets in the next five years.
"With more 33 million users by 2003," says Duncan Clark, partner at BDA China, "each new user
that comes on-line creates new opportunities for Internet-related business, enabling companies to
leverage their technology, service or capital in one of the world`s most exciting Internet markets."

China`s ISP market is experiencing "survival of the fattest"; those ISPs, typically owned or funded
by China Telecom, with access to the fattest pipes (dial-up lines, leased lines and Internet
bandwidth) have emerged on top. Nevertheless, opportunities are growing for new players,
including cableTV operators, to tap revenues in the ISP market, which are forecast toexceed US$4
billion by 2003.
China also presents a burgeoning market opportunity for Internet equipment, software and service.
The Internet in China forecasts this sector to exceed US$160 million in 1999. Foreign vendors
currently dominate China`s Internet infrastructure market, but domestic players are expanding their
efforts to serve this growing market.
"The Internet in China" is the most comprehensive report available onthe prospects for the Internet

equipment vendors, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), software vendors, Internet Content Providers,
E-commerce developers, and systems integrators in China and overseas.

mal abwarten.

Habt man keine Angst, was den Kurs angeht.

In N.Y.
Also an alle VIEL GLÜCK!!!!!

Herr Brod ,
Traumatiesiet bist.
gewinnen.Du bist hier völlig falsch am Platz.
Möge Gott Dir helfen Du armer Wicht!!

Du bist einfach so lustig!

Bin dabei Schneekoppe.
MfG Ingmar
P.S. Schneekoppe, was machst du mit den Tacken? Ibiza oder so? cu there :-)

Guten Morgen!!
