Link klingt gut? Ist er bei Dir etwa auf Chinesisch geschrieben? Also einen Anstieg erwartet das Unternehmen selbst erst frühestens Mitte 2000. Ich frage mich, ob man in der Zwischenzeit nicht sein Geld effektiver nutzen sollte, obwohl Estland aufgrund der EU - Aufnahme äußerst reizvoll ist!Ich warte noch, behalte den Wert aber genau im Auge, auch wenn es weh tut.

Bei der estnischen Börse gibt es die Halbjahresergebnisse von Eesti, Hansa und Norma.
Kurzes Fazit:
Hansa macht Gewinne, die ungefähr den Zahlen in Börse Online entsprechen. Scheint ungefähr auf 9 EEK
pro Aktie hinauszulaufen.

Eesti Ühisbank wird anscheinend die ohnehin mageren Schätzungen noch unterbieten. Der Profit kleckert
sehr mühsam und sie haben gestiegene Kosten. Es sieht bisher nach ca. 1,5 EEK pro Aktie aus.

Die Überraschung ist Norma, die das sehr gute Ergebnis des 1. Quartals noch etwas überbieten konnten.
Schon jetzt hat Norma fast das Doppelte des in Börse Online für 1999 veranschlagten Gewinnes verdient.
Norma notiert im Moment mit einem möglichen 99er KGV von 3,4.

FORTUM AND ÜHISPANK WILL ACQUIRE 100% OF AS VIRU ENERGIA

Tomorrow, on July 21, the parties will sign an agreement by which the
Finnish energy group Fortum will obtain 70 per cent of AS Viru
Energia from AS Viru Keemia Grupp. Ühispank will acquire the
remaining 30 per cent.

Viru Energia owns the gas-based power station in Kohtla-Järve, which
produces electricity and heat. For fuel, the power station uses
generator gas produced as a result of thermal treatment of oil shale
(in the amount of approximately 50 per cent) and natural gas (in the
remaining amount).

Viru Energia owns the distribution systems of electricity and heat,
and the enterprise sells electricity bought from other sources as
well.

The present acquisition cannot be treated as a deal with a person
connected to an issuer, and the members of the supervisory council or
management have no personal interests in the deal.

The aim of the bank`s participation is to continue co-operation with
Fortum. In November 1998 also, the corporate finance division of
Ühispank acted as the advisor and partner to Fortum in the
privatisation of AS Läänemaa Elektrivork located in Haapsalu.

CHANGES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF UHISLIISING

Yesterday , July 27th, the Chairman of the Management Board of
Uhisliising Mr. Marek Puidak handed in his resignation to the
Supervisory Council of the leasing company. The council decided to
approve the resignation. Parallel to that Mr. Ulo Suurkask was
elected as the new Member of the Supervisory Council replacing the
present member of the Council Ms. Evelin Kolu.

Mr. Puidak will continue as a Member of the Supervisory Council. His
tasks will include advising of leasing in day-to-day operation.

Uhisliising will announce an open bid to find a new Chairman of the
Management Board. Until the new Chairman of the Management Board
takes office, the tasks will be fulfilled by Member of the
Supervisory Council of the leasing company Mr. Ulo Suurkask whose has
been authoritised for the time.

For the last three years, Mr. Puidak has been working as the Chairman
of the Management Board of Uhisliising. He owns no shares of Eesti
Uhispank.

For the last three years, Mr. Ulo Suurkask has been working as Member
of the Management Board of Eesti Uhispank, vice president and head
of finance. He owns 39,834 shares of Eesti Uhispank.

Uhispank owns 96.7 per cent of the shares of Uhisliising.
