Die erste gute Nachricht seit Jahren, wenn auch wenig konkret:

Australian rare earths company, Arafura Resources Limited (ASX: ARU, “Arafura” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has recently agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with South Korean chemical manufacturer OCI Company Ltd (“OCI”). The purpose of the MOU is to negotiate proposals and conclude definitive agreements for the establishment of an Arafura and OCI Joint Venture (“JV”) for a Rare Earth (“RE”) Separation Plant in South Korea.

The purpose of the MOU is to examine and negotiate proposals for:
 The supply by OCI of reagents for the Nolans Project and in particular to the RE Separation Plant;
 OCI to provide assistance to Arafura to access infrastructure and critical services for the operation of the RE Separation Plant;
 Research & Development collaboration and RE separation piloting;
 Establishing a business model whereby the parties will jointly fund the establishment of the RE Separation Plant and toll process Nolans mixed RE intermediate or carbonate product;
 Investment opportunities for OCI into the RE Separation Plant; and
 An equity investment by OCI in Arafura itself.

OCi hat anscheinend eine gute Reputation (Best Performing Chemical Company in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index 2011), ist aber keine wirklich finanzstarke Firma (ca. 3Mil € Gewinn 2015 nach drei Jahren rote Zahlen; ca. 1 Mia Marktkapitalisierung).

Arafura lebt offenbar doch noch! Der SP zuletzt etwas up, heute über 3 Mio. Shares auf 6.8c.

Mal sehen wie sich Nolans und die aktuelle Phosphat-Story entwickeln, von der Goldian bereits im März auf
HC berichtete.

Eigentlich gibt es keine neuen Meldungen. Aber Rohstoffe erholen sich ganz allgemein, die US-Konjunktur läuft und Zinsen bleiben extrem niedrig, da bessern sich auch die Aussichten auf teure Finanzierungsprojekte.

Nach vielen Jahren der Planung und Entwicklung werden (hoffentlich und endlich!!) im 2. HJ die Approvals erfolgen, Finanzierung und Construction endlich in 2017 starten.

Feasibility - Nolans Development Report September 2014

Arafura plans to mine, concentrate and chemically process rare earths at the Nolans Site, then transport a rare earths-rich intermediate product to an offshore refinery for final processing into high-value rare earth products.

Arafura will initially produce six rare earth products from Nolans – Lanthanum Oxide, Cerium Oxide, NdPr Oxide, SEG Oxide, HRE Oxide and Cerium Carbonate – and potentially phosphate and uranium co-products. Nolans has one of the highest NdPr Oxide contents of all rare earths projects currently being considered for development across the globe. Approximately 77% of Arafura’s revenue is expected to be generated by this product, which is a crucial component in the high-growth permanent magnet end market.

The Nolans feasibility study is well advanced, with comprehensive technical and commercial work streams in progress in Australia and China. These work streams are aimed at further lowering capital and operating costs for the Project, and drive it towards financing and construction – targeted for 2016/17.

The Nolans Development Report was released in September 2014. This report serves to highlight the strong commercial appeal of the Nolans Project, and the potential for attractive investment returns.

Schmerzen waren es langsam genug.

Den größten Teil meiner Ersparnisse habe ich dem "Neuen Markt" geschenkt.
Man könnte auch sagen Verzockt.
Der Rest ist in australischer Erde vergraben.
Ich hoffe aber dass ich diesen kleinen Rest, in den nächsten 3-5 Jahren wieder ausgraben kann und er sich sichtlich vermehrt hat.
Meine Hoffnung bezieht sich daher auf ARAFURA und LYNAS.

Geht es hier im Forum auch anderen so ähnlich ?????

Leider heute wieder abwärts, ich gehöre auch zu denen, die auf Arafura hoffen. Ausstieg lohnt bei diesen Kursen auch nicht. Hoffen wir weiter.
