Pyritic Copper-Zinc-Silver-Gold Massive Sulphides in the Linda 2 Deposit on its 100% Owned RLM Property, Snow Lake Area, Manitoba
Monday November 27, 4:57 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 27, 2006) - Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin") (TSX:THR - News) announces that a diamond drilling program consisting of 2,769 m of drilling in three holes combined with borehole geophysical surveys has been completed on its 100% owned Rod-Linda-McKayseff ("RLM") copper-zinc property located in the Snow Lake area of northern Manitoba. The program was designed to determine if economic grade copper-zinc mineralization exists along plunge to the northeast in the Linda 2 massive sulphide deposit.

All three holes in the current program were collared from the same set-up and were designed to intersect the Linda 2 deposit approximately 300 m along plunge to the northeast from a 2002 hole (480-02-05W1) which was the easternmost hole to intersect the deposit. 480-0205W1 intersected two sub-zones of massive sulphides that assayed 1.4% Cu, 0.3% Zn, 25.2 g/t Ag and 2.0 g/t Au over 5.0 m and 0.2% Cu, 1.6% Zn, 3.5 g/t Ag and 0.3 g/t Au over 9.6 m within an overall 30.3 m interval of massive sulphides that assayed 0.52% Cu, 0.63% Zn, 9.0 g/t Ag and 0.8 g/t Au at a vertical depth of approximately 700 m (see news release dated December 19, 2002).

RLM06-01, the first hole of the 2006 campaign, intersected thick sections of hydrothermal alteration typically associated with other massive sulphide deposits in the Snow Lake camp but undercut the down plunge projection of the Linda 2 massive sulphide deposit. RLM06-02 intersected a 4.0 m interval at a vertical depth of approximately 710 m containing 2-20% pyrite, trace to 4% pyrrhotite and trace to 3% sphalerite within a staurolite-cordierite-garnetanthophyllite-sericite alteration zone that represents the up-dip projection of the Linda 2 massive sulphide horizon. The best assay in these disseminated sulphides was 3.45% Zn and 7.0 g/t Ag over 0.20 m (see Table 1). RLM06-03 intersected 14.9 g/t Ag and 12.1 g/t Au over 1.62 m from 808.08 to 809.70 m within a staurolite-kyanite-biotite-chlorite schist alteration zone. Similar, high grade gold values were encountered up plunge in historical drilling. RLM06-03 also intersected the Linda 2 massive sulphide horizon at a vertical depth of approximately 760 m assaying 0.72% Cu, 0.27% Zn, 11.3 g/t Ag and 1.0 g/t Au over 15.57 m, including 0.94% Cu, 0.30% Zn, 17.5 g/t Ag and 1.2 g/t Au over 4.53 m.

Borehole geophysical surveys suggest that the Linda 2 deposit continues further to the northeast and that this would be an excellent area for further diamond drilling. Even though the last two drill campaigns have successfully extended the large Linda 2 base metal deposit a further 500 m along plunge to the northeast from the historical drilling undertaken by Falconbridge Limited ("FL"), the overall copper grade has increased only marginally. As a result, Thundermin has not determined whether to undertake another drill campaign at this time or to seek a joint venture partner to further evaluate the property.

The 2006 drill program was supervised by Anthony J. Spooner, P. Geo., President of A. J. Spooner Exploration Services and qualified person for the purposes of NI 43-101. Mr. Spooner has reviewed and approved the contents of this release. All 2006 drill holes were NQ in size. The core was logged and mineralized sections, where appropriate, were sawn in half at Thundermin's core logging facility. Half of the core was submitted for analyses to TSL Laboratories, an independent and qualified assayer located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Blanks, duplicates and standards were used as part of the assay procedures.

The Linda 2 deposit is a rod-shaped, massive sulphide lens (predominately pyrite) that plunges 20 degrees - 30 degrees to the northeast. It has a dip length of 150 to 200 m, ranges up to at least 50 m in thickness (average thickness approximately 15.8 m) and has been traced by drilling over a plunge length of approximately 2,100 m where it remains open down/along plunge below a vertical depth of approximately 760 m (see attached longitudinal section).

The RLM property also hosts the past-producing Rod 1 and Rod 2 deposits, from which 0.7 Mt of ore grading 7.2% Cu, 3.0% Zn, 14.7 g/t Ag and 1.4 g/t Au was mined in the 1970's and 1980's. Prior to the 2002 and 2006 drilling campaigns, the Linda 2 massive sulphide deposit was believed to contain an inferred mineral resource of 11.8 Mt grading 0.3% Cu, 0.8% Zn, 10.3 g/t Ag and 0.9 g/t Au. This historical mineral resource was prepared manually by FL in 1978 employing the polygonal method, prior to the introduction of NI 43-101. While Thundermin believes that this historical resource estimation was carried out in accordance with industry best practices at the time, Thundermin cautions that it should not be relied upon. An independent QP has not audited or classified this historical estimate as current mineral resources nor has Thundermin undertaken a new resource calculation encompassing the new drill data from the 2002 and 2006 drilling campaigns.

In December 2003, Thundermin acquired the remaining 70% interest, to hold a 100% interest subject to certain underlying royalties, in the RLM property from Aur Resources Inc. ("Aur") in a transaction related to the sale by Aur of all of its base metal properties located in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Aur retains a back-in right to reacquire a 42% interest in any deposit found on the property, which contains a mineral resource of at least 225,000 t of copper or copper equivalent. Should Thundermin enter into a joint venture on the property with a major mining company, Aur's back-in right is reduced to 14%.

A technical report dated December 1, 2005 entitled "Technical Report on the Rod-Linda-McKayseff Base Metal Property, Snow Lake Area, Manitoba, Canada, NTS Map Sheet 63J/13", which was prepared on behalf of Thundermin by John B. Heslop, President & CEO of Thundermin, and Howard R. Stockford, P. Eng., President of Stockford Consulting Inc., for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of NI 43-101 and for general public disclosure purposes has been filed on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.

SUBJECT: RE: who is buying and who is selling? Posted By: VENMan

« Previous Message Next Message »

Winners are buying Losers are Selling!

Nobody gives you something for nothing. Although i think THR will pull back I don't think it will be for long.

Many feel that Little Deer is No P&D! This is June Not Jan when most P&D take place. I think with a few positive drill results under our belt THR could go to 30 or 40 cents from here. Long term could grow to a few bucks a share but would need measured and indicated copper pounds for that to happen!

      I'm long THR because:
      1. CEO of AUR sits on the Board and Holds almost a million THR shares
      2. THR sold Duck Pond to AUR 5 years ago so management is PROVEN
      3. Little Deer has some copper on it. So chance of them finding more is very possible. Perhaps Millions of tonnes - Oh MY GOD!!

The few that understand the story are buying from the many that just want to make a quick profit.
      That's my 2 cents

Enjoy the day and All IMHO!!

      Do your own DD

Thundermin and Cornerstone Prepare to Drill the Little Deer Copper Deposit, Springdale Area, North-Central Newfoundland
Thursday June 21, 4:30 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 21, 2007) - Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin") (TSX:THR - News) and Cornerstone Resources Inc. ("Cornerstone") (TSX VENTURE:CGP - News; collectively, the Little Deer Joint Venture "LDJV") announce that they have signed the formal agreement (the "Agreement") with Weyburn Investments Ltd. ("Weyburn") whereunder the LDJV has the option to acquire a 100% interest in Weyburn's Little Deer copper deposit and adjacent property (the "Weyburn Property") which is located approximately 10 kms north of Springdale in north-central Newfoundland. Thundermin and Cornerstone each paid $85,000 in cash to Weyburn upon signing of the Agreement. No further option payments are due to Weyburn until June 20, 2009. Complete details of the terms of the Agreement and the results of historical exploration programs undertaken on the Little Deer copper deposit are contained in news releases issued by Thundermin and Cornerstone dated May 1, 2007. This information can also be found on Thundermin's and Cornerstone's respective websites at www.thundermin.com and www.cornerstoneresources.com.

The LDJV intends to immediately commence an $850,000, phase one, exploration program on the Little Deer copper deposit. This program will consist of 13.5 line kms of control grid construction, approximately 5,300 m of diamond drilling in 8-9 holes and borehole Pulse electromagnetic geophysical surveys. Cabo Drilling (Atlantic) Corp. of Springdale has been contracted to undertake the diamond drilling. The drilling is expected to commence in 3-4 weeks once all requisite work permits have been obtained from the Department of Natural Resources.

The results of historical diamond drilling undertaken on the Little Deer deposit, in the 1960's by BRINEX and from 1998 to 2000 by Mutapa Gold Corp., suggest that there is the potential to outline a significant resource of economic grade copper mineralization below and along strike from where shallow mining was undertaken in the early 1970's by BRINEX and Green Bay Mining Company. Thirteen historical drill holes containing significant copper intersections over mineable widths occur below the old mine workings over a distance of 600 m, from approximately 250 m to 600 m below surface. Four of these holes, LD-98-08 (1.6% Cu over 38.7 m, including 2.5% Cu over 8.3 m), LD-98-04 (4.3% Cu over 9.6 m), LD-98-07 (2.9% Cu over 5.8 m) and LD-00-12 (3.8% Cu over 10.7 m), occur from east to west over a distance of approximately 450 m on the 550 m elevation. Other significant intersections below the old workings include LD-98-01 (5.2% Cu over 2.1 m), LD-98-02 (3.0% Cu over 7.3 m), LD-98-03 (3.1% Cu over 12.9 m), LD-98-05 (2.3% Cu over 8.2 m), LD-66-135 (3.5% Cu over 8.0 m), LD-66-136 (1.9% Cu over 6.2 m) and LD-67-143 (5.8% Cu over 1.5 m). Hole LD-00-12 is the farthest west hole drilled to date, except for a few shallow holes drilled by BRINEX in 1966. The LDJV is of the opinion that Little Deer copper mineralization remains open to the east, west and at depth.

The purpose of the phase one drill program to be undertaken by the LDJV is to confirm the continuity and grade of the copper mineralization intersected in the wide-spaced historical holes beneath the old mine workings and to expand these resources at depth and along strike. The first hole of this program will be collared to intersect the copper mineralization 100 m east of hole LD-00-12 at a vertical depth of approximately 550 m.

Previous surface and borehole geophysical surveys have shown a good correlation between conductivity and copper mineralization on the property. Of significance is a strong surface DEEPEM geophysical conductor that correlates well with the copper mineralization intersected to date. This DEEPEM conductor extends over a distance of 1,800 m, approximately 700 m of which remains undrilled. The DEEPEM survey suggests that the top of the mineralized horizon plunges shallowly to the west and it may continue even further west. Shallow historical drilling undertaken by BRINEX near the western end of the DEEPEM conductor intersected 1.1% Zn over 3.5 m. Re-assaying of the same core by Inco Limited in 1988 returned 1.5% Zn and 2.5 g/t Au over 1.4 m and 0.5% Zn over 9.5 m, including 1.7% Zn and 3.1 g/t Au over 0.8 m. These intersections may represent a shallow, more zinc-gold rich portion of the main Little Deer copper-bearing horizon which may occur at depth. The 700 m extent of the DEEPEM conductor that has never been drilled, west of hole LD-00-12, remains prospective for the occurrence of base metal sulphides.

The Little Deer volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") copper deposit occurs within the Lush's Bight Group which is a Cambro-Ordovician sequence of ophiolitic-like rocks consisting mainly of intermediate to mafic pillow lavas with minor associated tuffs and agglomerates which have been intruded by gabbroic stocks and dykes. The main sulphide mineralization consists of disseminated, stringer, and semi-massive to massive pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite with minor sphalerite. The main copper-bearing horizon dips approximately 75 degrees to the south. There are eight similar VMS copper deposits in the Lush's Bight Group with reported resources of which the Whalesback and the Gullbridge are the largest at approximately 4.5 million tonnes ("Mt") each. These deposits form a group that belong to what is commonly referred to as the "Cyprus type" of VMS copper deposit. There are 17 such deposits known in Cyprus with similar characteristics to those occurring in the Lush's Bight Group with the largest being Mavaravouni at approximately 25 Mt.

Thundermin and Cornerstone Commence Drill Program on the Little Deer Copper Deposit, Newfoundland
Monday July 9, 4:35 pm ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - July 9, 2007) - Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin") (TSX:THR - News) and partner Cornerstone Resources Inc. ("Cornerstone") (TSX VENTURE:CGP - News) announce that an $850,000 diamond drill program consisting of approximately 5,300 metres of drilling in 8-9 holes has commenced on the Little Deer copper deposit which is located approximately 10 kms north of Springdale in north-central Newfoundland.

The purpose of the drill program is to confirm and increase the copper resources outlined by wide-spaced historical holes both at depth and along strike. The first hole of this program will be collared to intersect the copper mineralization 100 m east of hole LD-00-12 and approximately 150 metres west of hole LD-98-07 at a vertical depth of approximately 550 m (see accompanying map).

The results of historical diamond drilling undertaken on the Little Deer deposit, in the 1960's by British Newfoundland Exploration Company ("BRINEX") and from 1998 to 2000 by Mutapa Gold Corp., suggest that there is the potential to outline a significant resource of economic grade copper mineralization below and along strike from where shallow mining was undertaken in the early 1970's by BRINEX and Green Bay Mining Company.

Thundermin and Cornerstone have the option, on a 50/50 basis with Thundermin as operator, to earn a 100% interest in the Little Deer copper deposit and adjacent property from Weyburn Investments Ltd. ("Weyburn"). Details of the terms of the agreement with Weyburn and the results of historical exploration programs undertaken on the Little Deer copper deposit are contained in news releases issued by Thundermin and Cornerstone dated May 1 and June 21, 2007. This information can also be found on Thundermin's and Cornerstone's respective websites at www.thundermin.com and www.cornerstoneresources.com.

Thundermin and Cornerstone Intersect High Grade Copper Mineralization Assaying 5.0% Copper Over 16.5 m in the Upper Portion of the Little Deer Copper Deposit, Newfoundland

      TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jan. 20, 2011 (Marketwire) --

Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin") (TSX:THR) and 50% joint venture partner Cornerstone Resources Inc. ("Cornerstone") (TSX VENTURE:CGP) announce that they have intersected high grade copper mineralization assaying 13.4% Cu over 0.5 m, 4.6% Cu over 4.2 m and 5.0% Cu over 16.5 m, including intervals of 6.1% Cu over 5.1 m and 9.2% Cu over 5.5 m within hole LD-10-39 which was drilled in the upper portion of the Little Deer Copper Deposit ("Deposit") (see Table 1 and Figure 1). The Deposit is located approximately 10 km north of Springdale in north-central Newfoundland.

A $1,600,000 diamond drilling program, comprising approximately 12,000 to 13,000 m of drilling in 16 to 20 holes and employing two drills, commenced on the Deposit on December 1, 2010. The primary purpose of this drill program is to increase the estimated mineral resources outlined to date in the Deposit to the five to six million tonne range. The potential increase of the current mineral resources is conceptual in nature and it is uncertain whether further exploration drilling will result in an expansion of this mineral resource.

The current drill program will focus on three main areas: 1) above the -250 m elevation where historical drilling suggests that there is good potential for outlining high grade resources above the area where Thundermin and Cornerstone have focused their drilling to date and have established a National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") compliant resource for the Deposit (approx. above the -800 foot level drift from the Whalesback Mine as shown on Figure 1); 2) along strike both east and west of the limits of the currently outlined mineral resource between the -650 m and the -250 m elevations where the boundaries of the Deposit have not been defined to date; and 3) at depth below the -650 m elevation where a preliminary interpretation of the results from borehole Pulse electromagnetic surveys suggest that there is potential for the discovery of additional copper mineralization. The Deposit has been outlined by drilling over a strike length of 1,050 m and to a vertical depth of 1,000 m. Note that Figure 1 presented here only covers the upper portion of the Deposit (see the longitudinal section accompanying the news release dated July 29, 2010 for a view of the complete Deposit). Details on the Deposit can be found in numerous Thundermin and Cornerstone news releases dated between May 1, 2007 and November 30, 2010 which are on each company's website and on SEDAR.

A compilation of historical surface and underground diamond drilling information obtained from the archives of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources, dating from the 1960's to the early 1970's and, some of which was not previously available, has recently been completed. Drill logs and assay information for a total of 47 surface and 86 underground holes were recovered as shown on Figure 1 and listed in Table 2 at the end of this release. Six surface and 28 underground holes lie outside of the area of drill indicated mineralization shown on Figure 1. The assay results for seven of the underground holes were included in a news release dated February 25, 2009 but this data was not incorporated in any resource estimates as the drill logs for these holes were not previously available.

Figure 1 shows the areas in the upper portion of the Deposit that were mined out, as well as the areas that were developed but not mined out, by British Newfoundland Exploration Company from 1966 to 1972 and Green Bay Mining Company from 1972 to 1974. All known mine workings and the upper limit of the current NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate are also shown on Figure 1.

Three holes of the current drill program totaling 966 m were completed in December prior to the seasonal shutdown (see Figure 1). These three holes were drilled to confirm the presence of high grade copper mineralization known to exist in the upper portion of the Deposit (see Figure 1 and Table 2). Hole LD-10-39, which intersected high grade massive, semi-massive and stringer chalcopyrite-pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralization over significant widths (see Table 1), was drilled to confirm the copper mineralization in historical surface hole LD-62-78 which intersected 2.9% Cu over 60.1 m, including intervals of 5.9% Cu over 7.9 m, 5.3% Cu over 15.5 m and 3.1% Cu over 11.6 m (see Table 2). Hole LD-10-40, which was drilled approximately 35 m west of LD- 10-39, intersected minor copper mineralization comprising 2.4% Cu over 0.7 m. Hole LD-10-41 (assays pending) was drilled approximately 50 m east of hole LD-10-39. The current drill program will recommence shortly with two drills and will be completed by June 30, 2011.

A preliminary interpretation of the recovered drill log and assay data suggests that there is potential to add from 500,000 to 650,000 t of copper mineralization, excluding the areas that were mined on two occasions from 1966 to 1974, with grades similar to that already estimated for the Little Deer Zone above the area of the mineral resources outlined to date (see Figure 1 and Table 2). The potential addition of these mineral resources to the total mineral resource estimate for the Deposit is conceptual in nature and will need to be confirmed by an independent Qualified Person ("Q.P").

John B. Heslop, President and CEO of Thundermin stated "We are extremely pleased to have been able to recover such a large quantity of invaluable diamond drill information from the archives of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources. We anticipate that this information will, in due course, allow us to be able to add a significant amount of essentially "free" tonnes to the mineral resource estimate for the Deposit. In addition, with the new data, we now also have a better understanding of the existing underground infrastructure which may potentially afford substantial cost savings for access via ramp for underground definition drilling and mining".

      Mineral Resource Estimate

On October 13, 2010, Thundermin and Cornerstone announced that an updated NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate had been completed by Scott Wilson RPA under the supervision of Mr. Reno Pressacco, M.Sc. (A), P.Geo., Senior Geologist for Scott Wilson RPA and an independent Q.P. in accordance with NI 43-101. Scott Wilson RPA estimated that the Deposit contains Indicated Resources of 1,150,500 t at an average grade of 2.8% Cu within the Little Deer Zone and additional Inferred Resources of 1,227,300 t at an average grade of 2.2% Cu within the Little Deer Zone and 1,108,200 t at an average grade of 1.9% Cu within the Footwall Zone. A NI 43-101 compliant Letter Report entitled "Mineral Resource Update for the Little Deer Project" dated September 30, 2010, to support the updated mineral resource estimate, is available on Thundermin's and Cornerstone's websites.

      Metallurgy

On October 19, 2010, excellent metallurgical results from scoping level test work on core samples from the Deposit were announced. This work, which was undertaken at SGS Lakefield Research Limited ("Lakefield") of Lakefield, Ontario, indicates that a saleable, high grade copper concentrate grading over 28% copper with over 97% recovery and free of any deleterious elements can be produced from the Deposit. The use of a simple rougher-cleaner flowsheet, a common xanthate collector, pH control with lime and a relatively course primary grind for copper liberation from mineralization of medium hardness suggest that the operating costs should fall into the low range for any metallurgical plant constructed to treat the Little Deer copper mineralization.

      Qualified Person

Mr. Andrew Hussey, P.Geo., Project Geologist and Lands Manager, Cornerstone Resources Inc., is the Q.P. responsible for supervising the drilling program and the compilation of all of the historical data on the Deposit for the purposes of NI 43-101. Mr. Hussey has also reviewed the contents of this news release for accuracy. All holes drilled by Thundermin and Cornerstone are NQ in size. Specific gravity measurements, rock quality designations and photographic logging of significant mineralized intersections are performed systematically prior to assaying. The core is logged and the mineralized sections, where appropriate, are sawn in half at a core logging facility in Springdale. Half of the core is submitted for analyses to Eastern Analytical Limited, an independent and qualified assayer located in Springdale, and the remaining half of the core is kept for future reference. Blanks, duplicates and standards are routinely used as part of the assay procedures.

      Little Deer Joint Venture

Thundermin, the operator, and Cornerstone have the option, on a 50/50 basis to earn a 100% interest in the Little Deer Copper Deposit and adjacent property from Weyburn Investments Ltd. Thundermin, under its joint venture agreement with Cornerstone, has the right to increase its interest in the Little Deer property to 75% by completing a feasibility study and by arranging 100% of the necessary bank financing required to place the property into commercial production. Details on the Deposit and the terms of the agreement with Weyburn can be found in numerous news releases and on Thundermin's and Cornerstone's respective websites and on SEDAR.

      Junior Exploration Assistance Program

Thundermin and Cornerstone would like to acknowledge the financial support received from the Junior Exploration Assistance (JEA) Program of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador in carrying out a portion of their work on the Little Deer property.

Thundermin Arranges Up to $1,750,000 Flow Through Private Placement

      TORONTO, ONTARIO, Feb. 11, 2011 (Marketwire) --

Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin") (TSX:THR) announces a non-brokered private placement financing of up to 6,730,770 flow-through units ("Units") at a price of $0.26 per Unit to raise up to $1,750,000 (the "Offering"), subject to regulatory approval and closing.

The Offering is expected to close on or about February 24, 2011.

Each Unit will consist of one flow-through common share and one half of one non-transferable common share purchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each whole Warrant will entitle the holder to purchase an additional common share of Thundermin at a price of $0.35 per share for a period of 18 months from the date of closing of the Offering. Each Warrant will be subject to an early call provision. In the event that Thundermin's shares trade at a weighted average price of $0.60 or more per share for a period of at least 20 consecutive trading days, Thundermin will have the right, upon giving notice in writing to the warrant holders, to accelerate the expiry date of the Warrants to the date that is 30 days from the date that notice was provided.

Thundermin will pay a cash commission of 7% of the gross proceeds and issue compensation options equal in number to 6% of the aggregate number of Units sold ("Compensation Options") on a portion of the Offering. The Compensation Options may be exercised at a price of $0.26 per common share at any time for a period of 18 months from the closing of the Offering.

The proceeds of the Offering will be used to fund Thundermin's exploration projects in Canada that qualify as "Canadian exploration expenses" under the Income Tax Act (Canada). In particular, the funds will be used for on-going diamond drilling programs on the Little Deer Copper Deposit which is located approximately 10 km north of Springdale in north- central Newfoundland and for an initial diamond drilling program on Thundermin's Lebel gold property located on the Kirkland Lake Main Break in Kirkland Lake.:):lick:

A $1,600,000 diamond drilling program, comprising approximately 12,000 to 13,000 m of drilling in 18 to 20 holes and employing two drills, commenced on the Deposit on December 1, 2010. A total of 6,372 m of drilling in 13 holes has been completed to date. The primary purpose of this drill program is to increase the estimated mineral resources outlined to date in the Deposit to the five to six million tonne range. The potential increase of the current mineral resources is conceptual in nature and it is uncertain whether further exploration drilling will result in an expansion of this mineral resource.

The current drill program is focusing on three main areas: 1) above the -250 m elevation where the recent recovery of drill logs and assay data for 47 surface and 86 underground historical drill holes suggests that there is good potential for outlining additional high grade resources (see news release dated January 20, 2011); 2) along strike both east and west of the limits of the currently outlined mineral resource; and 3) at depth below the -650 m elevation where a preliminary interpretation of the results from borehole Pulse electromagnetic surveys suggest that there is potential for the discovery of additional copper mineralization.

The Deposit has been outlined by drilling over a strike length of 1,050 m and to a vertical depth of 1,000 m. Note that Figure 1 presented here shows only the upper eastern portion of the Deposit (see the longitudinal section accompanying the news release dated July 29, 2010 for a view of the complete Deposit). Additional details on the Deposit can be found in numerous Thundermin and Cornerstone news releases dated between May 1, 2007 and January 20, 2011 which are on each company's website and on SEDAR.

Holes LD-10-39, LD-10-40 (both previously reported) and LD-10-41 collectively totaling 966 m of drilling were completed in December prior to the seasonal shutdown (see Figure 1 and Table 1). These holes were drilled to confirm the presence of high grade copper mineralization believed to exist in the upper portion of the Deposit based on a review of the historical data referenced above. Hole LD-10-39, which intersected high grade massive, semi- massive and stringer chalcopyrite-pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralization was drilled to confirm the copper mineralization in historical surface hole LD-62-78 which intersected 2.9% Cu over 60.1 m, including intervals of 5.9% Cu over 7.9 m, 5.3% Cu over 15.5 m and 3.1% Cu over 11.6 m. Hole LD-10-40, which was drilled approximately 35 m west of LD-10-39, intersected minor copper mineralization comprising 2.4% Cu over 0.7 m. Hole LD-10-41 was drilled approximately 50 m east of hole LD-10-39 to confirm the copper mineralization in historical surface hole LD-62-83 which intersected 3.1% Cu over 13.7 m. Hole LD-10-41 intersected 2.1% Cu over 3.0 m and 4.5% Cu over 5.9 m. Three additional shallow holes are planned to the west in this area of the Deposit. These holes will be drilled on approximately 100 m centers to target the -100 m elevation (see Figure 1).

Hole LD-11-45, drilled on the upper western margin of the Deposit, intersected 1.4% Cu over a core length of 5.4 m and hole LD-11-48 intersected 1.4% Cu over 1.0 m. Holes LD-11-43 and LD-11-46, also on the upper western margin of the Deposit, intersected intervals of chlorite alteration with no significant copper mineralization. Hole LD-11-44, drilled on the upper eastern margin of the Deposit intersected high grade copper mineralization assaying 9.3% Cu over 1.6 m and 4.1% Cu over 10.6 m, including 6.7 % Cu over 5.8 m. Holes LD-11-42 and LD-11-47, also on the upper eastern margin of the Deposit, intersected thick sections of chlorite alteration with no significant copper mineralization. Holes LD-11-49, LD-11-50 and LD-11-51 have been completed. Assay results are awaited and will be reported when received.
