NEW DELHI, May 27 (Reuters) - Indian companies with stakes in two Russian assets are unable to repatriate 8 billion roubles ($125.49 million) in dividends due to tough western sanctions, an official at Oil India Ltd (OILI.NS) said on Friday.A consortium comprising Oil India, Indian Oil Corp (IOC.NS) and Bharat Petroleum Corp (BPCL.NS)own 23.9% of Russia's Vankorneft oil project and 29.9% of the Tass-Yuryakh oilfield in east Siberia.
A dividend is paid quarterly for Tass-Yuryakh and half yearly for Vankor fields.
"Our dividend is lying in Russian banks and we cannot get it because of problems in swift clearance and other issues," said Harish Madhav, head of finance at Oil India, at a press conference to announce the company's quarterly earnings.

Reuters last month reported that India asked state-run energy companies to evaluate the possibility of buying Russian oil and gas assets shunned by BP (BP.L) and Exxon Mobile Corp (XOM.N) in Russia. read more
Shell (SHEL.L) is also in talks with Indian companies to sell its stake in a major liquefied natural gas plant in Russia, sources told Reuters. read more

Rio Tinto and bp sign one-year trial of marine biofuels
Rio Tinto and bp have agreed to work together on a one-year biofuel trial to help reduce carbon emissions from Rio Tinto’s marine fleet. Under the trial, bp is supplying Rio Tinto with marine biofuel for approximately 12 months. The fuel will be trialled on Rio Tinto’s RTM Tasman vessel on a mix of Transatlantic and Atlantic-Pacific routes, in one of the longest-duration marine biofuel trials to date. The results of the trial will help Rio Tinto study ways to reduce its carbon emissions from its marine fleet and inform its future biofuel strategy.
“Sustainable biofuels are important to help decarbonise the shipping industry in the near- and mid-term as we transition towards longer term net zero solutions. We’re proud to be working with Rio Tinto to support their work to decarbonise. These trials are part of our ongoing efforts to help accelerate the shipping industry’s energy transition.”

ich denke, es wird gut weitergehen... durch die Vorab-Verkäufe werden die durchschnittlich erzielten Öl- und Gaspreise im laufenden Quartal wohl noch höher ausfallen als im letzten Quartal, also wird noch mehr Cash generiert... Spätestens nach den nächsten Zahlen wird es einen weiteren Schub geben... es sei denn, die Öl- und Gaspreise kollabieren, aber davon ist wohl nicht auszugehen. Ich denke, der Ölpreis bleibt erstmal ü100$, dann sollten auch die 6€ bei BP in greifbare Nähe rücken...😎

Was für ein Mist , da wollen wohl einige die 5 € noch nicht sehen. Bei dem Ölpreis müssten wir doch schon an die 6 € gehen. Mal sehen wie es weiter geht.

Europe fuel shipments to U.S. ramp up as Russia supply shock eases
LONDON, May 18 (Reuters) - Record high gasoline and diesel prices in the United States are drawing a growing flow of tankers from Europe, where pump prices are lingering near record highs.So far in May, Europe has exported around 540,000 barrels per day of gasoline on the transatlantic route, close to the highest level since July 2019, data from oil analytics firm Vortexa show.
And gasoline exports from Europe to the U.S. East coast are expected to rise to their highest in at least three years in May, according to industry sources.
Traders regularly move oil on tankers between regions to where they can make a bigger profit, in what is known as an arbitrage.
But the rapid shift in oil flows around the world since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24 has rarely been as stark as when Europe has scrambled to replace Russian crude oil and refined products.

Moin, ich vermute auch, dass BP nochmal unter die 5€ Marke gehen wird.
Aber mittel- bis langfristig wird es wieder aufwärts gehen.
