Artificial Life, Inc. Launches Poli - the Bear Mobile Game
Supports WWF With 10 Percent of Sales
HONG KONG, March 29, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Hong Kong based Artificial Life, Inc. (OTCBB:ALIF), a leading provider of award-winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications, today announced the world premiere launch of Poli - the Bear on www.botme.com. The game will also be launched in Germany through reseller channels. 10% of the net income from the sales of the game through Hong Kong operators and www.botme.com will be donated by Artificial Life to World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Hong Kong, one of Hong Kong's leading environmental charitable organizations.

Poli - the Bear mobile game educates and exposes the younger generation to polar bears, an endangered species, through the story of Roli, Boli and Moli, three cute polar bear cubs who are captured by greedy hunters. Due to recent discussions over the greenhouse effect on the Polar Bear habitats, Artificial Life, Inc. decided to contribute to the cause by sending an environmental message to the public by releasing the Poli - the Bear mobile game.

"We believe that young people in their teens and twenties will love our Poli - the Bear mobile game. If we do not educate the younger generation about the threats to this endangered species now, soon we might only be able to experience the life of the beautiful polar bears on TV or on our mobile phones," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc. The game supports most 2.5G, 2.75G and 3G handsets, and is available for download on Artificial Life's M-Commerce Portal www.botme.com as of today. The game will also soon be offered by many operators and resellers throughout the world.

      About WWF Hong Kong

Established in 1961, the ultimate goal of World Wide Fund for Nature is to stop and eventually reverse environmental degradation and to build a future where people live in harmony with nature, by:

      * Conserving the world's biological diversity
      * Ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable
      * Promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

WWF has been working in Hong Kong since 1981 to ensure a better environment for the present and future generations through implementing a wide range of focused conservation and environmental education programs in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The WWF's conservation objectives are to conserve Hong Kong and China's biodiversity, improve the quality of the environment while motivating people to act to conserve the natural environment. Education is one of the key tools in pursuing their objectives. Every year their education and awareness programs reach over 120,000 students, teachers and members of the public in Hong Kong.

America's Next Top Model Mobile Game

In the mobile game, which is tied closely to the hit television series America's Next Top Model(tm) (ANTM), players will train an avatar representing one of the participants from the show to become a top model. When a participant is eliminated from the show, the corresponding avatar will be removed from the mobile game. Mini-games based on the modeling challenges from the ANTM show will be unlocked in the game each week after an episode airs.

Depending on the carrier and the specific capabilities of a player's handset, the following features may be available: streaming animated videos of the avatars, sending an avatar ``on vacation'' to a friend's phone, receiving voice calls and text message updates. Players have the option to choose between a full game version targeting higher-end handsets or several smaller game versions for lower-end handsets and a series of mini-games.

In the U.S., the ANTM mobile game is available for $5.99 to download. The mini-games based on the show will soon be offered separately for $2.99.

``This new mobile game provides consumers with an opportunity to become more involved and connected to America's Next Top Model and the participants. The incredibly unique feature of synching the game with what's actually happening on the series will literally enable fans to take Top Model wherever they go,'' said Rick Haskins, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy.

``This new version of the America's Next Top Model(tm) mobile game has a lot of innovative gaming features. We have integrated show synchronization and IVR technology to make the game play more exciting. ANTM fans will surely love these newly added features,'' said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.

      http://www.prosieben.de/lifestyle_magazine/next_topmodel/ext…

...sieht aber eher nicht nach einem ALIF-Produkt aus, irgendwie einfacher "gestrickt"!? Was meint ihr?

Schade dass ALIF hier noch nicht zum Zuge kam. Hätte mich gefreut.
