GE Boosts Profit Outlook Amid Surging Demand for Jet Engines
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ge-boosts-profit-outlook-amid…
...
General Electric Co. raised its forecast for profit and free cash flow for the year as rebounding demand for air travel drives growth in its increasingly critical aerospace business.
The maker of jet engines and power-generation equipment now expects 2023 adjusted earnings of $2.55 to $2.65 a share, up from a prior projection of no more than $2.30. That tops the $2.36 average of analysts’ estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Sales will grow at a low-teens percentage rate while free cash flow will rise to as much a $5.1 billion, both increases from the company’s prior forecast.
GE’s aviation operations are experiencing “rapid growth driven by robust demand and solid execution, largely in commercial engines and services,” Chief Executive Officer Larry Culp said Tuesday in a statement that also detailed third-quarter results.

GE Stock Rises as Earnings Crush Estimates. That Was Just the Start of the Good News.

...
For the full year, GE now expects to earn between $2.10 and $2.30 a share. In April, GE said 2023 adjusted earnings should fall between $1.70 and $2 a share. The $2.20 midpoint of the new guidance is 35 cents above the old midpoint of $1.85, and the 35-cent increase is more than the 22 cents by which GE beat second-quarter estimates.
Full-year free cash flow guidance was raised too. GE now expects to generate free cash flow of roughly $4.3 billion, up from prior guidance calling for about $3.9 billion.

GE Cleared For Takeoff: US Reportedly Greenlights Jet Engine Tech Transfer To India
https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news/ge-cleared-for-takeoff-…
...
The U.S. government has reportedly given General Electric (NYSE: GE) the green light to transfer jet engine manufacturing technology to India, and both sides have reached a preliminary agreement on the deal.
What Happened? Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Joe Biden are all set to make an announcement on the defense deal during their upcoming meeting in Washington D.C. from June 21-24, CNBC-TV18 reported, citing sources.
Under the agreement, US-based GE will join forces with government-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to co-produce jet engines for India’s fighter jet program. The agreement is expected to kickstart this collaboration.
Notably, GE and HAL had tried to strike a similar deal back in 2012, but it fell through because the Indian government wanted more in terms of technology transfer. However, sources told the business news channel that they have reached an agreement on higher levels of technology transfer, making India the only U.S. ally with such a deal.
The specifics of the technology transfer, timelines, and payment arrangements are currently being discussed, and the final agreement will likely be signed during Modi’s visit to the U.S., they said.

GE’s Stock Tops $100 for First Time in Five Years as Optimism Grows
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ge-stock-tops-100-first-18182…
...
The turnaround that General Electric Co. has long been promising its investors is finally coming to fruition as the stock touched an important milestone Thursday.
GE shares briefly traded above $100, a key psychological level, for the first time since early 2018. They have been on a tear over the past six months, more than doubling since the end of September, and got a fresh boost last month after the company laid out an “impressive” long-term outlook for its aviation and energy businesses.
“GE’s March 9 investor day showed a much better aerospace outlook versus our prior expectations, and we think is a key catalyst for GE’s re-rating year to date,” BofA analyst Andrew Obin wrote in a note Thursday.
...
Still, GE is far from out of the woods, and the shares reflect the reality that it is now a much smaller and different company than what it was five years back. Despite the latest rally, the stock is still down about 50% from the highs it touched in 2016, before the share price unraveled in the wake of larger problems at the company.

Netzbetreiber Tennet vergibt Aufträge in Höhe von 24 Milliarden Euro
https://www.wallstreet-online.de/nachricht/16745109-netzbetr…
...
