1.) Tin-Circle: are there any plans to resume the original plan of installing one?
A tin circuit based on gravity-separation of tin oxide mineralization was installed. However, early recovery results were poor, and as a result the mine is not operating the tin circuit. Some of the equipment from this installation has been redeployed in the zinc circuit.
2.) in the Q1-Report it is referred to Cortaderas as following:
An updated Mineral Resources model was completed and as of December 31, 2012 the Cortaderas target area is estimated to contain 3.6 million tonnes of Indicated Mineral Resources containing 137 g/t silver at a silver cut-off grade of 50 g/t and 2.7 million tonnes of Inferred Mineral Resources containing 162 g/t at a silver cut-off grade of 50 g/t.
In the NR from 25th July 2012 concerning the Cortaderas there were the following expl.results mentioned :
-- DDH-230: 24 meters at 1,764 g/t Ag and 4.9% Zn
-- DDH-231: 78 meters at 756 g/t Ag and 9.8% Zn
-- DDH-232: 25 meters at 425 g/t Ag and 4.4% Zn
-- DDH-233: 69 meters at 324 g/t Ag and 5.8% Zn
Are these numbers not included within the res. tonnage mentioned in q1 ?
The assay data from these four holes was incorporated in the resource estimates of December 31, 2012.
3.) Is there a minimum sale price of silver targeted from the company ?
The company does not provide a minimum silver target price for the sale of our concentrates.
4.) Is there a retailer sales program launched , similar to the one of First Majestic ?
It looks like you are referring to the Silver Bullion store First Majestic hosts on its website. Silver Standard’s final products are silver and zinc concentrates, which we sell to smelters. For the foreseeable future, we would not be launching a similar program.
5.) Are there other ideas to counter the sell-off in the silver space, f.e.
co-operation with Sprott, goldmoney, Central-Fund of Canada.... ?
The silver space is very large and the pricing environment can’t be affected by one specific party. As with all markets, silver trades based on supply and demand. With the recent sell-off in the silver price, certain mining assets out there will likely become under pressure from a cost perspective, which would take supply out of the system in the near term. As long as demand remains at similar levels, this should support silver price in the interim. Silver Standard is still optimistic about the long-term fundamentals in the silver market and anticipates higher prices in the future.
6.) Is there a backup-plan for Pitarilla, given the high cap-ex ?
F.e. exploiting the firesale prices of existing mining projects.
We monitor the industry and activities in the silver space continuously and if certain opportunities are presented, we investigate them in detail. However, Pitarrilla continues to represent Silver Standard’s cornerstone project and we continue working towards its success. We expect a construction decision to be made within this year based on the work that has been done to date.

Die 36$-Interview-Prognose von John bis Jahresende, finde ich in diesem Zusammenhang übrigens etwas gewagt.
Momentan wäre eine Konsolidierung über 20$ aus meiner Sicht schon ein "Erfolg", auch wenn ich denke, dass es mit dem Silberpreis mittelfristig wieder aufwärts geht. Die Frage ist nur wann...
Wie locker könnte SSRI eine vielleicht zweijährige +-20$-Phase überstehen ?
Cash scheint ja da zu sein. Aber es wäre natürlich schön, wenn man Pitarilla im Zeitplan und möglichst eigenständig stemmen könnte...
