Nun zu den Shorties...ich glaube die Gefahr ist mittlerweile gering.
DSNY ist nicht unterzukriegen. Wieviele Talfahrten hat das Unternehmen durchgestanden? Das interesse bei den Tradern zu shorten müsste eigentlich nicht mehr sehr gross sein.

The site will feature content from Play MPE® clients across international markets, highlighting the unique global presence of the Play MPE® secure distribution system.
When labels encode music for secure delivery through the Play MPE® system, they will be given an opportunity to feature the release on the Daily site and on the Play MPE® Facebook and Twitter social media feeds. This new feature was designed to be fully automated so that it requires little to no extra effort from our label clients.
Visitors to http://daily.plaympe.com can login with their social media accounts to post comments and can share articles and release information on other social sites. Play MPE® users who do not have access to certain releases published on the site can request access and the request will be passed to content owners for consideration.
The Daily site will be a hub for general Play MPE activity: announcements of the latest releases, top activity charts, new software and general announcements. Labels are able to announce their releases before, during or after street date with the click of a button.
The site will continue to be enhanced. Future features will include free streaming audio previews.

Vancouver, BC – February 27, 2013 – Destiny Media Technologies (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQX: DSNY) is pleased to announce that, beginning next week, the company will be offering Clipstream® for sale to the market research industry as the first customer vertical. Unlike other solutions such as Flash, WebM and H.264 which have limited security, Clipstream® will enable customers to watermark and lock content to authorized URL's and restrict playback to authorized viewers. This will enable them to offer video questionnaires to test market movie trailers, commercials and new products without fear those videos will appear on the Internet after the videos are removed.

Market research companies are expected to resell the technology to their Fortune 500 customers for use in secure video questionnaires.”
Self serve desktop and server based encoder software, support for ad delivery networks, a credit based e-commerce system and marketing materials are all under development. The company expects to roll out commercial offerings to other customer verticals in Q3.
As part of the launch, the company has updated the demo showcase originally announced on December 3, 2012 with improved technology. By using more effective proprietary compression algorithms, average quality and frame rates have risen significantly from the previous version, even though bandwidth requirements have fallen by two thirds. This bandwidth reduction was necessary for the widest possible audience to have a high quality experience and to be competitive with existing solutions. The updated examples are available at http://www.clipstream.com.
Videos encoded in the new Clipstream® format will play on most browsers, so there is no need to transcode or host multiple formats. Because it is served by a web server rather than a proprietary streaming server, it will cache, saving up to 99% on bandwidth and infrastructure costs. With no players to download or install and native support from all modern browsers, Clipstream® encoded content will have the highest play rate (35% higher than H.264, the next most common format across computers and devices). Unlike other HTML 5 solutions, Clipstream® content can easily be secured from unauthorized viewing or duplication to unauthorized domains. Finally, videos encoded in our format will have the greatest longevity as future browser standards will ensure play back in browsers that haven't even been developed yet.
The proprietary Clipstream® technology is protected by seven pending US patents claiming priority to August 2011 and international PCT filings.

Das Board of Directors hat ein Programm zum Rückkauf von bis zu 1 Million Aktien aus dem Stammkapital des Unternehmens zu einem Kaufpreis von maximal 1,00 $ pro Aktie genehmigt. Der Zeitpunkt und die Menge der jeweiligen Rückkäufe werden vom Unternehmen nach eigenem Ermessen festgelegt. Die entsprechenden Rückkauftransaktionen werden über den Freiverkehr der US-Börsen abgewickelt. Sämtliche Rückkaufe erfolgen im Einklang mit den einschlägigen Richtlinien der Wertpapieraufsicht ( Rule 10b-18" der Securities and Exchange Commission) und in Abstimmung mit der Marktsituation, den gesetzlichen Anforderungen und anderen maßgeblichen Faktoren. Das vom Board genehmigte Aktienrückkaufprogramm läuft bis 31. Mai 2013. Was die Streaming Idee anbelangt sehe ich nirgendwo eine Reflektion am Markt, was für das Getöse zur Patentierung schwer nachvollziehbar ist, da im aktuellen Umfeld zu 100% bereits potentielles Interesse vorhanden wäre - Fazit derzt. auch ein Rorkrepierer...

Destiny Media Announces Year End Results
Vancouver, BC – November 29, 2012 – Destiny Media Technologies (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQX: DSNY) is pleased to announce results for the year ended August 31, 2012. Revenues of $3,983,789 were $23,441 lower than the prior year. Fourth quarter revenue was up 1% from the previous year to $941,426.
Play MPE® continues to show expanded use in Europe and amongst US independent record labels showing revenue growth of 14% (to $1,617,015) and 20% (to $761,147) respectively. These gains were masked by a decline in the Euro relative to the US dollar, declines in Australia and the absence of a non-recurring revenue amount in 2011. Modest gains were seen in Canada and New Zealand. Clipstream® legacy revenue was $164,213 compared to $176,205 in 2011.
Operating expenses grew by 2%, with a 21% increase in R&D spending offset by 23% decline in G&A and a 15% decline in sales and marketing costs. Income from operations of $719,678 was down 10% from prior year.

Hatte lange Zeit keine Lust mehr zu schreiben. Und damals war viel "Glauben und Spekulierei" ob Erfolg oder nicht dabei.
Habe mich neu angemeldet (früher Apus) und die Leute gegrüsst die ich noch "kenne", aber keinerlei Resonanz. Na was soll´s.
