The initial assay results indicate mineral concentrates containing 5% to more than 30% combined valuable metals, with a total rare earth element (REE) content ranging from 1% to 8%. The samples additionally show high heavy REE content, generally ranging between 20% and 30% of total REE’s, and high content of the strategic metal dysprosium (Dy ranges from 2 to 5% of the total REE content). A summary of assay results from the 2008 drill program at the Dotson Zone are available at the following link:

“The State of Alaska has shown tremendous support for Ucore and our plan to expedite the development of America’s preeminent heavy REE asset at Bokan Mountain, Prince of Wales Island,” said Jim McKenzie, President and CEO of Ucore. “With this in mind, we’ve elected to even further invest in Alaskan REE exploration and development. With the Ray Mountains acquisition, we’ve now covered what we believe to be two of the most prospective remaining REE exploration targets. We expect Bokan to become an important source of heavy REE’s to the U.S., and we’ll now begin to evaluate the Ray Mountains property to this end as well.”

"While I appreciate the most recent response from Secretary Salazar to my inquiries that the USGS will begin a nationwide survey of rare earth deposits in 2013, I would like to see the USGS participating now with the State of Alaska in the statewide inventory that the Department of Natural Resources will start conducting this summer."

to fast track this mine as quickly as possible. They are increasing
their drilling by three times so they can get this to feasibility in under
two years. Ucore is still being overlooked. I consider this deposit an
undiscovered gem. Over the next 24 months Ucore can possibly make
leaps, but I am waiting for a confirmed break of this current
downtrend and for Ucore to regain its 200 day moving average.

Aber wie eine Mannheimer Gruppe meinte, "Der Weg wir hart und steinig sein....", oder so aehnlich. Jedenfalls waere ich froh, wenn hier wieder mehr Action rein kommt. Dieser one-man Thread ist irgendwie anstrengend. Also wuensche ich mir mal viel Glueck und natuerlich allen anderen auch.

Nebenbei, ich hatte auch Lynas und hatte mich ein bisschen zu frueh davon getrennt. Aber mit gutem Gewinn. Und der steckt jetzt zu 66% in GWG und der Rest hier in UCU. Lies noch den Ernst&Young Report ein paar Seiten frueher. Hier kommt der HREES eindeutig besser weg. Jedenfalls ist das meine Meinung.
