Solide Finanizerung des Explorers durch die Endeavor Financial Group

      http://www.safehaven.com/showarticle.cfm?id=15261

      -----------------------------

      Zusammenfassung (English):

Encanto Potash (EPO-TSX.v) has made deals with several First Nations groups regarding potash projects on their traditional territories in South-Eastern Saskatchewan. These projects are located within a radius of about 80 kilometers of each other and cover an aggregate area of over 187,000 acres (76,000 hectares). Encanto has also acquired the rights to four potash properties from Raytec Metals. These four potash properties cover more than 179,000 acres (72,800 hectares) of potash permits and are also in Saskatchewan.

Drilling is now underway, and 2D seismic is complete. Nearby historical oil and gas drilling logs clearly show potash beds present (these beds in the Saskatchewan Potash Basin are known for their consistency over many kilometers).

Encanto Potash has the backing of the Endeavor Financial Group so access to capital should not be a problem. First Nations involvement and having the projects on their traditional territory lessens the number of stakeholders in negotiations and consultations. The deals are heavily weighted towards the backend, meaning benefits such as training, jobs, shares and royalties do not come till certain milestones, such as feasibility and production, are reached.

Having the financial backing of the Endeavor Group and the partnership with Saskatchewan's First Nations makes Encanto Potash worth spending due diligence time on.

Historical Surrounding Oil Wells Analysis Indicate Potash Grades And Thicknesses At Muskowekwan

Encanto Potash Corp. (“Encanto” or the “Company”) President James Walchuck is pleased to announce that the grades and thicknesses of the potash beds in historical oil wells surrounding the Company’s Muskowekwan property have been estimated in an engineering report prepared by Chapman Petroleum Engineering of Calgary (“the Report”). They were determined through a mathematical process commonly used in the potash industry to estimate in-situ potash grades and thicknesses from wire line gamma ray logs. Two of the historical wells used in this evaluation were cored and assayed over the potash bearing intervals. Standard wireline logs were also run over the cored intervals. Equivalent logs were run over the non-cored potash bearing intervals in the other wells used in this evaluation. The cored and analysed intervals were thus calibrated to the wireline measurements, and this calibration was then used to estimate the grade and thickness for the non-cored holes. The historical oil wells range from as far as 15.6 km away to as close as 11.4 km away from the Muskowekwan property boundary.

Based on the Report, estimates of the Patience Lake Member has average thickness and potash grade in the four drill holes of 13.7 feet of 32% KCl *(20% K2OS); 11.9 feet of 30% KCl (19% K2OS) in the Belle Plaine Member; and 8 feet of 29% KCl (18% K2OS) in the Esterhazy Member. Assays are based on a 23.7% KCl (15% K2OS) cut off.

Encanto Potash Corp. announces engagement of North Rim Exploration Ltd.

      Jul. 29, 2010 (Canada NewsWire Group) --

      Trading Symbol: TSXV EPO.V

VANCOUVER, July 29 /CNW/ - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the engagement of North Rim Exploration Ltd. ("North Rim"), of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for the purpose of reviewing drill hole and seismic data and calculating an anticipated potash resource on the Company's potash project located in the Prairie Evaporite Basin of Saskatchewan, Canada.

North Rim's area of expertise is subsurface geology, which includes the examination of geophysical date in order to create an integrated geological and/or resource interpretation. Since 1984 North Rim has been in the business of providing expertise to mining companies for design and management of drilling programs including the technical support and due diligence required in order to advance strategic exploration projects through to the development stage. To date North Rim has been engaged to work on more than 100 potash and evaporate projects.

Encanto is currently preparing a report summarizing the results of the recent drilling campaign as well as the 3D seismic programs received to date. The report is expected to be completed by mid-August. Compilation of these 3D results has taken longer than anticipated, primarily due to permitting issues which delayed shooting until winter, one of the harshest ever recorded, which resulted in shooting seismic well into spring break-up.

Encanto anticipates that with North Rim's input, additional drill hole locations will be determined by mid-August. The Company will then apply for drill permits and anticipates the commencement of drilling in early September. Encanto plans to simultaneously use two drills to accelerate the drill program. Each hole will take approximately three weeks to drill with potential assays expected approximately two weeks after completion of the drill program. A resource calculation is then expected for late November.
President and CEO James Walchuck commented "This stage of the Company's exploration activities will provide management with the information required to advance our Muskowekwan potash property significantly over the next few months. The anticipated Q4 resource calculation for Muskowekwan is still on schedule."

ENCANTO POTASH CORP. DISCLOSES INITIAL 3D SEISMIC RESULTS AND HIRES BARLON ENGINEERING TO OVERSEE MUSKOWEKWAN DRILL PROGRAM

      Aug. 25, 2010 (Canada NewsWire Group) --

      TRADING SYMBOL: TSXV EPO.V

VANCOUVER, Aug. 25 /CNW/ - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto") is pleased to announce the initial interpretations of results from its 65 square kilometre 3D survey over the Muskowekwan First Nation Lands in central Saskatchewan.

Boyd PetroSearch ("Boyd") has been analyzing the data for approximately 4 weeks and results to date support the findings of the original 2D survey which was acquired in early 2009. From seismic interpretation the Prairie Evaporite Formation appears for the most part to be continuous and structurally undisturbed over the majority of the Muskowekwan Home Reserve. The nature of the beds combined with the encouraging results (3.6 meters at 25.2% K(2)O in the Patience Lake Member and 2.4 meters at 25.5% K(2)O in the Belle Plaine Member) from the core analysis of the potash members encountered in Encanto's initial Lestock 2-9 test hole are sufficient to warrant further delineation drilling on the Muskowekwan Project. Investors are invited to review the report on the Company's website at www.encantopotash.com or by clicking on the following URL: http://files.newswire.ca/509/BoydpptWebsite.pdf

Encanto plans to use two rigs in our upcoming drilling program, to reduce the drilling time by 50%. Barlon Engineering Group Ltd. ("Barlon") of Calgary, Alberta has been selected to manage the upcoming delineation drill program for the Muskowekwan Project.

The selection of the four sites of the upcoming program was based on the interpretations of the 3D data. Surveying, lease preparation, and applications for well licenses are underway. Actual drilling should commence in September and core results should be analyzed in time to have a CIMM compliant resource completed by November with the 43-101 technical report following shortly thereafter.

The selection of the drill hole locations were based on consultation with North Rim Exploration Ltd. ("North Rim"), Boyd PetroSearch, and Company representatives in order to optimize the anticipated resource calculation. The selection process focused on the interpretation of 3D seismic results by Boyd. A summary report of this 3D analysis can be found on Encanto's website at www.encantopotash.com.

The Barlon Engineering Group was formed in 1982 with the objectives of providing intermediate and junior oil & gas companies competent, reliable and cost conscious drilling and completion services management and field supervision. With its expertise well established in the oil & gas industry Barlon then began providing the same services to potash resource companies in 2008. Barlon Engineering Potash past and current clients include AMC (on behalf of BHP Billiton), Agrium, and Encanto. More details regarding the business of Barlon can be found on their website at www.barlon.ca.

Boyd PetroSearch is a leading expert in seismic analysis in the potash industry having been involved in potash evaluation for over 20 years. They have advised most major and junior potash companies in Saskatchewan both for exploration drilling and mine planning and expansions. For further information on Boyd visit their website at www.boydpetro.com.

Similarly, North Rim Exploration Ltd. (established in 1984) have been involved in over 100 potash evaluation projects ranging from major companies (Mosaic, BHP Billiton) to juniors (Potash One, Athabasca Potash). More information on North Rim is available on their website at http://www.northrim.sk.ca/.

The technical content of this news release has been reviewed by Ross Moulton, VP of Exploration for Encanto, a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101.

Encanto Potash enters JV with Muskowekwan Resources

      2010-10-22 14:47 ET - News Release

      Mr. James Walchuck reports

ENCANTO AND MUSKOWEKWAN FIRST NATIONS SIGN JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT

Encanto Potash Corp. has signed a formal joint venture agreement with the Muskowekwan First Nation (MFN) and its wholly owned operating company, Muskowekwan Resources Ltd. (MRL), for the purpose of developing and operating a potash mine on the Muskowekwan First Nation's land.

The salient terms of the JVA are:

      1. MRL will receive a 3-per-cent gross overriding royalty (GORR).
      2. Encanto will immediately issue to MRL 200,000 common shares and 200,000 share purchase warrants exercisable at 22 cents for a period of two years from the date of issuance.
      3. Property taxes payable are defined and capped at a rate that will not exceed that average rate charged by the municipalities in Saskatchewan for similar projects.
      4. MFN and MRL will contribute all mineral leases granted by the Crown, pursuant to the governing regulations, and will hold said leases in trust for the benefit of the JVA.
      5. MFN will be paid a total fee of $1-million based on certain milestones being achieved over the next 18 months of which the initial $200,000 has been paid.
      6. The parties will jointly appoint a management committee to supervise the business affairs of the joint venture.

The JVA confirms and sets out the process and specific covenants of the parties to allow the project to proceed to the mine operation stage uninterrupted and without further negotiation.

Encanto president and chief executive officer James Walchuck commented: "We are very pleased to have achieved this landmark step in our relationship with the Muskowekwan First Nation. The agreement provides the certainty of title while concurrently affording an equitable far-reaching agreement for the Muskowekwan First Nation."

Muskowekwan chief and MRL president Reg Bellerose today said that his nation "is committed to becoming more self-reliant as a community and is determined to reduce its historical dependence on government funding through increasing its own-source revenue." He went on to say: "This agreement with Encanto Potash is a solid opportunity to do that over the long term. It provides a framework for potash development in our territory, allows our nation to participate and benefit fully, and most importantly, ensures that these developments do not compromise our existing rights, assets, environment and culture. This is a formula our nation can accept and obviously so can industry. Today is a good day."

Sask. First Nations explore PotashCorp bid: report

A number of Saskatchewan First Nations leaders are working on a multi-party bid for PotashCorp, according to a report.

Postmedia News said Thursday the First Nations are working with pension funds, Chinese investors and merchant banks to prepare a bid for the Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, which is the subject of a hostile $38.6-billion US takeover attempt by the Anglo-Australian mining giant, BHP Billiton.

According to a spokesman for the Indigenous Potash Group, the parties have held a series of meetings in the past week with Saskatchewan officials, PotashCorp executives and potential investors.

Saskatchewan's First Nations are opposed to BHP's takeover bid and, like the provincial government, have asked the federal government to block the takeover.

Shares of Potash fell three per cent Thursday amid signs that the growing opposition to the BHP takeover is being heard in Ottawa. The Globe and Mail said Industry Minister Tony Clement is becoming more skeptical of the bid, citing unidentified sources.

In Regina, the government of Premier Brad Wall will introduce an emergency motion Thursday that formally calls on Ottawa to reject the BHP deal.

And it's not standing still. Encanto's been making a few waves of its own in recent weeks, following a hectic time at the Vancouver Roundup, and the release of new drill results on its lead Muskowekwan project. These showed a 3.6 metre intersection of 39.9% potassium chloride at a depth of 1,193.6 metres, and a 2.4 metre intersection of 40.4% at a depth of 1,204 metres. A third and deeper intersection, at 9.6% over 5.3 metres was less encouraging. But two out of three ain't bad, and was certainly reason enough to make Encanto chief executive Jim Walchuck sound cheerful when Minesite caught up with him for a chat on the phone this week.

The key to understanding what those grades and thicknesses mean is to take a look at what intersections other companies have reported, and how they've worked their resources up from their. Potash One has wider intersections, but lower grades, and still reckons it has a feasible project. Athabasca Potash, meanwhile, has a resource 4.55 metres thick, very similar to Encanto's and a grade slightly lower than Encanto's own. Given that Athabasca's take-out price works out at very roughly ten times the current Encanto valuation, and given that at this early stage the deposits controlled by the two companies look similar, it's no wonder that some in the market reckon that Encanto's shares might be due for a run shortly.

BHP Billiton, George Gordon First Nation sign MOU for Jansen Lake project

BHP Billiton on Wednesday signed an agreement with the George Gordon First Nation on business and employment opportunities surrounding the Jansen Lake potash project.

At a small ceremony at BHP Billiton’s Saskatoon office, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) outlining the terms of the deal.

The Treaty Four First Nation, which is located southeast of Saskatoon between Wynyard and Yorkton in the heart of the potash belt, has about 1,300 members living on-reserve, 50 per cent of whom are under the age of 20.

Chief Glen Pratt said he hopes the MOU will bring more employment opportunities to his community.

“In Treaty Four, we have enough potash to feed the world, yet we struggle to feed our own children,” Pratt said.

“Our people still believe that we never gave up our mineral rights.”

BHP Billiton says it is common practice for the company to sign such agreements with aboriginal people in the regions of the world where it is developing resources.

The core samples from the second well in this year's program, Lestock 11-18-27-15W2, are presently being assayed at the Saskatchewan Research Council. The company is expecting these results later this month.

The third (15-14-27-16W2) and fourth (15-16-27-15W2) well locations are currently in the process of being cored. Assay values from those cores should be available some time in December.

The company's chief executive officer, Jim Walchuck, states: "We are very pleased with the results of this hole. The grade and thickness continuity that is demonstrated by these two holes augers well for the anticipated resource due in the first quarter of 2011."

(TSXV: EPO) Encanto Potash - Drilling Confirms Potash Resource Potential

All eyes have been keenly focused on the Potash sector as BHP Billiton's (NYSE: BHP) failed bid for Potash Corp (NYSE: POT) (TSX: POT) is showcased about in the Canadian press. The Potash sector as a whole has excellent fundamentals as potash has no commercial substitute. Potash is the primary ingredient in fertilizer, which increases crop yields and resistance to poor weather. World population continues growing rapidly, especially in India and China, with the supply of arable land decreasing year after year.

BHP has made it very clear they really like potash, and not just Potash Corp. Last year they bought Athabasca Potash for $341 million dollars, based on a resource alone of 465 million tonnes, and this year they announced they were going to spend upwards of $12 billion dollars to develop the Jansen mine in Saskatchewan. The question now is where BHP will look next, as it is surely exploring an alternative scenario if the Potash Corp bid falls through the cracks.

There are 3 potash juniors in the Saskatchewan basin that have been subject to much takeover talk in recent months, including Encanto Potash (TSXV: EPO), Western Potash (TSXV: WPX) and Potash One (TSX: KCL). Encanto is however the only junior without a sizeable 43-101 resource behind them. Their exploration program is currently underway and they've had some favourable results as they move towards their milestone 43-101 expected in early Q1 next year.

Encanto has been making news lately as they recently signed a binding joint venture agreement with the Muskowekwan First Nations. The company just released results from their second drill hole on the Mukowekwan project and the numbers are consistent and arguably better than some of Potash Corp's producing mines in the region. The grades and thickness are right on trend with Potash Corp's Rocanville and Allan producing potash mines, and Athabasca Potash's (now BHP's) Burr property.

Encanto is still in the exploration stage and will likely not garner much of an institutional following or any analyst coverage until it achieves its first resource. It has however made the resource watch list from Industrial Alliance Securities. Adam Machionni, mining research analyst at Industrial Alliance has initiated coverage and states that these results "confirm 'their' view that the prospect holds the potential to host a resource in the order of several hundred million to over one billion tonnes of potentially underground mineable potash ore."

Marchionni states that Encanto's upper belle plaine appears most favourable for economic development as it has returned consistent ore grades over mineable widths. He believes that although there is considerable work required to define the mineralization and potential for the development of a mine on the prospect, the risk reward profile is highly attractive.

      Hallo Cyberdeath,

      Mr. James Walchuck reports

ENCANTO ANNOUNCES ASSAY RESULTS FROM THIRD AND FOURTH WELLS

Encanto Potash Corp. has provided assay results from its 15-14-27-16W2 and 15-16-27-15W2 wells. These are the third and fourth wells in the company's 2010 delineation drilling program on its Muskowekwan property in Saskatchewan. Encanto has now drilled a total of five wells on this permit. The drill program is now complete.

The thicknesses and assay grades from these holes as reported are generally consistent with all the previous wells drilled on this lease. For comparative purposes, the previously announced hole results have also been disclosed.

Chief executive officer Jim Walchuck states: "Consistent grades and thicknesses have been demonstrated by these five wells to extend laterally at least six miles. Combined with the responses seen on our 63-square-mile 3-D seismic survey, we are optimistic that this will result in a significant resource in our upcoming NI 43-101 report. We expect the NI 43-101 report to be completed by late January/early February, 2011. It is encouraging that our assay grades and thicknesses are similar or better than the published grades from other Canadian producing mines."

      Company: Encanto Potash Corp.

      Project: Muskowekwan

Location: 100 kilometres north of Regina

Est. Resource: Expected in Q1, 2011

Est. Mine Life: Expected in Q1, 2011

Est. Production Start: 2014 to 2016

      Advantage: First Nation relationships

While Encanto's official resource estimate isn't expected until early next year, company president and CEO Jim Walchuck is confident the company's Muskowekwan project will win the greenfield race.

"We're going to take a run at it, definitely," Walchuck said in a recent interview from his Vancouver office.

Plans to build a conventional potash mine in central Saskatchewan are coming together and the resource at the site "is as good or better than anyone else out there," the CEO said. But what really sets Encanto apart is its relationship with Saskatchewan's First Nations.

"What makes it special is the fact that they want this project to go ahead as much as we want this project to go ahead, so there's no impetus to slow us down," he said. "We're both aligned in getting this project into production as fast as possible."

Because First Nation land is under federal regulation, the company only has to work with Ottawa and its aboriginal partners on the development of a Muskowekwan mine. Of course, Walchuck said, Encanto will abide by provincial regulations and guidelines.

However, the CEO added, having only two main stakeholders to work with speeds up the entire greenfield process.

"The biggest thing is to get your mining permit, and having only two stakeholders makes it a lot better for us and therefore should be a lot faster for us," he said.

Four to six years from now, Encanto could have a potash mine in production.

"What is the opportunity? I think it's pretty high," he said.

      http://www.leaderpost.com/Which+potash+player+will+first+pro…

“There’s six holes surrounding it that tell us that there’s potash at fairly good grades, and then we have two holes telling us that it’s as good or better than the existing mines right now,” said Encanto President and C.E.O. James Walchuck.

Encanto (TSX.V:EPO) is also on that potential buy-out list.[/red] Encanto is a well-run potash junior with resource grades that compare favourably to Athabasca. They have similar thickness and grade – while EPO has market cap of $23 million – about one tenth of the API valuation. So EPO has lot of share price upside as they build up their resource with more drilling and 3D seismic.

EPO’s first drill hole at its Muskowekwan potash property in Saskatchewan returned values of 25.2% K2O (39.9% KCl) over 3.6 metres in the Patience Lake potash bed, and 25.5% K2O (40.4% KCl) over 2.4 metres in the Belle Plaine potash bed. Drilling in the lower Esterhazy Member returned values of 5.3 metres of 12.4% K2O (19.6% KCl).

The size of Encanto’s land package is 36000 acres and the two beds combined are 6 m thick. That’s a potential mineable resource of about 137 M tonnes of K2O or 217 M tonnes of KCL. About $200 billion worth of potash.

Not surprisingly – given all this activity – a UBS analyst upgraded shares of POT from “Neutral” from “Buy” and increased the price target by $6 to $112 – implying stock gains of about 20% in the next year. Potash Corp shares rose 3% percent on the news.

But big trees don’t grow as fast as little trees. Keep your eye on Western and Encanto as the potash sector heats up again.

Schwer abzuschätzen was uns wirklich erwarten.

FP says Allana, others ride wave of potash speculation

      2011-02-09 09:46 ET - In the News

See In the News (C-AAA) Allana Potash Corp

The Financial Post reports in its Wednesday edition junior potash stocks have gone on a stunning run in the past few weeks as investors have rushed into them to take advantage of rising crop and fertilizer prices. The Post's Peter Koven, writing in Trading Desk, says shares of Allana Potash are up more than 200 per cent since the start of January. Others such as IC Potash, Encanto Potash and Amazon Mining have gone on spectacular runs as well. The agriculture sector has been hot since last summer, when grain prices began to move higher. That renewed concerns about food inflation and shortages. There was a quick positive response in the shares of senior fertilizer producers, but the juniors got left out of the party. Robert Winslow, an analyst at Wellington West, said they are simply catching up. "You're seeing a catch-up phase where there's capital flowing into the sector and it's moving down into smaller-cap names," he said. BMO Capital Markets analyst Joel Jackson points out the most speculative, early-stage companies are performing the best. Advanced junior potash plays have performed well, but the early-stage ones like Passport Potash and Marifil Mines have done even better.

Encanto Potash Corp. Stock (CVE:EPO), (PINK:ENCTF) Marked a New High on No Company Developments

      Contributed by: Nikolay Tomov
      Date: Feb 7, 2011
On Thursday, on no new company developments announced, the shares of Encanto Potash Corp. (CVE:EPO, EPO message board), (PINK:ENCTF) noted a real bright and memorable performance on the TSX Venture Exchange (CVE). The stock jumped in both price and volume and was among the most demanded items on the CVE.

Thursday's turnover of over 7.3M shares was around four times the average. EPO managed to climb by over 17%, closing at $0.54 per share. What is more, the stock hit a new 52-week high of $0.56 during the day - this could be defined as a resistance level for the shares too.

As there are no new announcements to explain this surge, we might suppose that the shares are probably rising speculatively. Maybe some investors are trying to take quick profits from their bids on EPO.

When there are no new developments or other relevant information, the company's financials are one of the few left reliable data resources. The latest filed reports for the Q3 of 2010 show positive trends compared with the relevant period of 2009. This speaks in favour of future appreciation of the shares.

      •The net loss was 30% lower than in the third quarter in 2009;
      •At the end of September 2010, there was a working capital surplus of $3.92M in comparison with just $0.63M one year before that;
•As at Sep. 30, 2010, Encanto had $4.03M in cash, a $3.5M increase compared to the relevant period in 2009.
As for the future behaviour of the stock, we should note that there are several factors that might hurdle the advance and even bring it down. One of them, for example, is the delay of the much anticipated by investors NI 43-101 resource report on the company's Muskowekwan First Nation Prospect. It was planned to be delivered in January, but is obviously still not ready. It is required in order for a further Feasibility Study to be implemented. This will require substantial expenditures that Encanto has to cover. The current delay of the NI 43-101 makes things even more unpleasant for the company.

Still, the positive factors around Encanto Potash clearly prevail over the negative. A big slump of the shares in the near days looks unlikely and illogical, although during the last session EPO lost about 5.6% of its value.

VANCOUVER, March 7 /CNW/ - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") announces that it has modified the scope of work given to North Rim Exploration to include resource calculations based on conventional mining methods and also the In-situ Leach (ISL) mining method. The Company feels this additional calculation is necessary in order to evaluate which method will provide the optimal economic benefit to the anticipated resource. The Company expects the concurrent resource calculations to be finalized in early April.

Jim Walchuck, Encanto's CEO, commented, "Potash resource calculations are unique in that different mining methods have a profound impact on the resource tonnage calculation and as such must be taken into account in the analysis. We feel that this is a necessary step in order to ensure we move forward in the most economical manner in the future."

ENCANTO POTASH CORP. ANNOUNCES MUSKOWEKWAN RESOURCES

VANCOUVER, Mar 18, 2011 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) --
      TRADING SYMBOL: TSXV EPO.V

Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") is pleased to release the results of the NI 43-101 Technical Report prepared by North Rim Exploration Ltd. ("North Rim") of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on the Company's Muskowekwan project situated on the Muskowekwan First Nation ("MFN") Home Reserve (16,831 acres) in Saskatchewan. At the Company's request, North Rim has prepared resource calculations based on both the solution mining extraction method and on the conventional mining extraction method. Encanto decided to evaluate and report the two resource calculations in order to determine, at a later date in future engineering studies, the most economically viable method for extraction. These resources are restricted to the Home Reserve only and do not take into account the Treaty Land Entitlement ("TLE") Reserve lands (15,500 acres contiguous to the Home Reserve) whose mineral resources and lands are owned by MFN and are included in our Joint Venture agreements with MFN and Exploration Permits from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada ("INAC"). The TLE Reserve lands and minerals are currently undergoing a designation process to surrender the mineral rights to Canada, these rights are then returned back to MFN. Once the TLE lands are designated, North Rim will recalculate to include those resources in an amended NI 43-101 Technical Report and has the potential of adding up to15,500 acres, or 90% to the resource area. Encanto's completed 2D and 3D seismic program was conducted on both the MFN Home Reserve and on the TLE Reserve lands.

North Rim has extensive experience in the resource characterization and preparation of NI 43-101 Technical Reports on potash resources having worked on Saskatchewan potash projects for Mosaic, Potash One, Athabasca Potash and Karnalyte Resources.

The reader is cautioned that the 2 mining scenarios presented below should be treated as separate mineral resource calculations and should NOT be added together. The solution mining scenario was prepared as the base case with the conventional resource provided as a sensitivity case until additional engineering studies are completed. Engineering factors that are yet to be determined to assess the economic viability may be, but are not limited to:

-- Study of the geothermal gradient to determine the energy inputs required (solution mining scenario). -- Study of potential engineering challenges to determine suitable pillar sizes and extraction ratios (conventional mining scenario). -- The "recoverable K(2)O" resource may change due to the uncertainty of the mining method at this time. Additional work on economic viability may be necessary.

The resource for the potential solution mining intervals (Patience Lake and Belle Plaine members excluding interbeds) are calculated as follows:

-- Indicated Resource: 1,144.2 MMt in place sylvinite grading 29.4% KCl or 18.6% K(2)O (79.1 MMt of recoverable KCl, or 49.9 MMt recoverable K(2)O) and -- Inferred Resource: 868.4 MMt in place sylvinite grading 29.2% KCl or 18.5% K(2)O (60.5 MMt of recoverable KCl, or 38.2 MMt of recoverable K(2)O).

Details of the solution mining scenario are presented below in Table 1:

James Walchuck, President and CEO of Encanto commented "Encanto is obviously very pleased with the resource calculations which have clearly established a substantial resource on the Muskowekwan First Nation Home Reserve. The resource easily justifies a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) which will be conducted by Wardrop, A Tetra Tech Company, ("Wardrop") A Tetra Tech engineering firm based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The PEA will apply engineering and economic principles to determine the best financially advantageous method for the future Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility studies. RM: Encanto PotashCorp (TSX.V: EPO) in Saskatchewan, Canada. What makes this one interesting is that they are collaborating with several First Nations groups to develop projects on their lands.

TER: In fact, Encanto was developed with that in mind, right? It was developed with the idea that it would work with First Nations to develop these resources.

RM: Absolutely. The first project Encanto started was developing an 80-to-100-year resource on the Muskowekwan's land. The goal is to develop a producing mine as quickly as possible. EPO's upcoming preliminary economic assessment (PEA) remains on schedule to be released in the first half of August. The PEA is designed to determine the most economical method for potash extraction and will make a recommendation on a solution or conventional mining operation.

It hasn't had the success in the market that Verde and Western have seen because the necessary reserve vote on continuing with development of the project hasn't happened yet and that creates uncertainty. The vote will happen in the fall; it's scheduled for late September.

TER: The whole operation hinges on that vote?

RM: Yes. Newly elected Chief Bellerose ran on a pro-potash forum. The majority of candidates also ran on a pro-potash forum, as did all eight successful councilors. I firmly believe it's going to be passed. But there seems to be some hesitation in the market over it.

TER: If the vote does go through as expected, we could we see a bump in the share price. It's at $0.23 right now.

RM: The band has approximately 1,050 eligible voters, many of whom don't live on the home reserve. For the vote to be considered a legal vote, at least 51% of eligible voters must cast a vote. For the vote to be successful, at least 51% of those voting must cast in favor. If a sufficient number of voters don't participate in the first vote then the vote is considered a failure; a second vote will be held on the home reserve 35 days after the first vote. For the second vote to be successful, a simple majority is required from those who vote. In an effort to ensure that all band members are fully aware of the benefits offered through the partnership with Encanto, Bellerose is holding open sessions in Regina, Calgary, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Edmonton.

There are really two drivers for the stock: the vote and getting the Home Reserve Lands, which will double the land acreage (and potentially the resource). It's been a long haul, but I believe that this is going to be a successful company and we're going to see it move forward.

TER: What are some things that investors should keep in mind when investing in potash companies?

RM: It's a long-term investable trend and with surging prices for agricultural commodities, farmers are looking to boost crop yields, opening the door for fertilizer makers to raise prices. There might be temporary weaknesses, but everybody has to eat and there are 220,000 more of us at the dinner table every night. So there are compelling reasons to be looking at these companies. Also, these are not cheap mines to build. The companies need management teams capable of going out there attracting the interest from the institutions and raising the money necessary (all three companies I mentioned do). Their neighborhood is also important. Who's in the neighborhood? Could a company be a takeover target?

      Attention Business Editors

Encanto Potash Corp. reports on completed First Nation meetings and comments on imminent preliminary economic assessment

      TRADING SYMBOL: TSXV EPO
VANCOUVER, Aug. 2, 2011 /CNW/ - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the
"Company") (TSXV: EPO)(OTCQX: ENCTF) is pleased to report on the first in a
series of both on and off-reserve meetings between our partners, the
Muskowekwan First Nation, and their membership. These meetings are being held
in large part so that members who no longer live on the Home Reserve have the
opportunity to attend an open forum where they can be fully apprised and
discuss the benefits of voting to add additional property "the Treaty
Entitlement Lands" or "TLE" to the existing joint venture with Encanto. This
would result in a significant increase in the size of the land package
included in the joint venture from 17,000 acres to 32,500 acres.
Meetings have recently been held both on the Home Reserve of Muskowekwan
and in Regina with good turnouts and positive feedback. Muskowekwan Chief
Reginald Bellerose explains, "Many of our membership no longer live on the
reserve so we thought it was very important that we make the effort to travel
to meet with them to ensure that they are getting factual and clear answers to
any concerns that they may have regarding the mining process, environmental
safeguards in the potash industry and the significant advantages that this
partnership with Encanto will bring to the people, the community and the
Nation in terms of employment and training, business development opportunities
and ongoing royalties that will, in the long term, provide for much needed
programs, facilities and services. I believe that we were able to address the
memberships' concerns and we left with more support and understanding than we
arrived with. This is very encouraging for us as we already knew there was
significant support for our efforts on-reserve".
Further meeting locations are to include Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary and
      Winnipeg.
Encanto is further pleased to report that Company President Jim Walchuck
recently spent several days in Saskatoon, reviewing data in connection with
the preparation of the upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). As
reported in the release of June 8th 2011, the PEA is designed to determine the
most economical method for extraction of potash from the Muskowekwan Prospect
and make a recommendation on either a solution or conventional mining
operation. This will be a major milestone for Encanto, whose focus is to
outline an 80 - 100 year resource on the Muskowekwan Home Reserve and TLE
Lands, and then continue with the necessary steps to develop a producing mine
as quickly as possible. Encanto is pleased to confirm that the PEA remains on
      track for release in mid-August.
Jim Walchuck commented "We're pleased at the pace at which our PEA is
moving along. It's a critical document for us that will lay the groundwork for
a successful and profitable mining scenario. We appreciate the efforts of
Wardrop Engineering (a Tetra Tech company) for their willingness and diligence
in working with us in order to meet our objective of an early to mid- August
      deadline for the report."
      About Encanto:
Encanto Potash Corp. is a TSX Venture Exchange-listed Canadian resource
company engaged in the exploration and development of potash properties in the

Encanto Potash Corp. Announces Date of First Nations Treaty Land Entitlement Vote and Decision to Begin Early Drilling on TLE Lands

Vancouver, British Columbia - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") (TSXV: EPO)(OTCQX: ENCTF) is pleased to report that a date has been set for the Treaty Land Entitlement designation vote for the Muskowekwan First Nation. The designation vote will be held on Saturday October 1st, 2011.

The vote will take place both on the Home Reserve and through mailed ballots, under the authority of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development (AAND), formally known as Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC).

Muskowekwan Chief Reginald Bellerose commented "We're very happy to get to this point where our people can vote for their future prosperity. A successful vote means a future not only of long term royalties but employment opportunities as well. This is a very important date for our people, and we look forward to working with our partner Encanto to develop Saskatchewan's next modern potash mine."

Further to this development, Encanto is pleased to announce that it will be mobilizing a rig to begin drilling on the TLE Lands prior to the completion of the Treaty Land Entitlement designation vote.

Encanto President Jim Walchuck explains: "We're seeing very positive responses from both the off-reserve and on-reserve preliminary meetings with the Muskowekwan membership. We are now very confident in a successful designation vote to include the additional 15,500 acres of Treaty Land Entitlement Lands into our existing joint venture. Based on the positive preliminary response to the pending vote and with the vision of expediting a new resource estimate for the Company, Encanto is proceeding to mobilize a rig to drill two (2) further confirmatory wells as soon as feasible. The additional holes and completion of the designation process will allow North Rim Consulting to calculate and issue an updated 43-101 compliant and expanded resource estimate."

      Encanto Potash Updates Designation Vote

      November 28, 2011

VANCOUVER - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") (TSXV: EPO or OTCQX: ENCTF) provides an update on the Treaty Land Entitlement designation vote which occurred on Saturday November 26th.

The Muskowekwan Band membership list used by Aboriginal Affairs Northern Development Canada (AANDC) contains 1,114 eligible voters. The AANDC requirement states that an initial designation is successful if 50% +1 of the membership cast their vote. This would require 558 votes to meet AANDC regulation requirements. A total of 547 eligible cast their ballots and therefore theoretically, the vote failed to meet the requirement by 11 votes.

However, the Muskowekwan First Nation (MFN) is questioning the number of eligible voters on the list used by the AANDC for reasons of accuracy due to deaths and transfers of former members. AANDC and the MFN will be undertaking a detailed review to determine what impact this may have had on the outcome of the vote. This process is expected to take several days and must be validated and verified by AANDC.

It is important to note that of the 547 votes cast, approximately 80% were in favour of the land designation.

Encanto will provide an update when the outcome of the MFN and AANDC review and analysis has been finalized.

The technical content of this news release has been reviewed by Ross Moulton, VP of Exploration for Encanto, a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101.

Permits in Saskatchewan.

Canadian government solicits public opinion on proposed $2.4bn potash mine
      Marc Howe | December 18, 2012

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency is soliciting the opinions of the public on a proposal to construct a CND$2.4 billion potash mine north of Regina on land held by the Muskowekwan First Nations.

CTV News reports that the agency is in the process of deciding whether a formal review of the planned mine is required and has set a deadline of January 3 for public comment.

The proposal for the mine has been been submitted under the name of First Potash Ventures by Encanto Resources Ltd. (TSXV:EPO) and the Muskowekwan First Nation (MFN).

Under the planned project the mine would produced up to 2.8 million tonnes of potash per year for up to half a century, with the MFN receiving royalties of up to $80 million per year.

Construction is slated to start between 2014 and 2016 and commence operation as soon as mid-2017. The mine is expected by project planners to generate as many 1,000 construction and 500 mining jobs.

Encanto believes that its partnership with the MFN ensures that regulatory processes will proceed more smoothly.

Working with the (MFN) Muskowekwan First Nation is a critical advantage when it comes to reducing length of permitting time and potentially the length of time to production as we are required to only deal with two stakeholders (our First Nation partners and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada) for permitting.

Encanto CEO James Walchuck says he expects the federal government to launch a full environmental assessment, but remains confident that the project will satisfy regulatory requirements at all levels and says that both federal and provincial governments have expressed their strong support

Advisory Services - Scope of Work and Terms & Conditions
      1.0 PREAMBLE & OBJECTIVE
1.1 Muriate of Potash (MOP) is one of the three basic plant nutrient termed as N, P & K. In
Indian agriculture scenario the importance of “K” nutrient in promoting balanced use of
fertilizer is paramount. While there are indigenous source for “N” nutrient, there is
limited availability of “P” in the country and there is no source of “K” nutrient which is
entirely imported. Thus, there is large dependency on import of “K” which is mostly in
the form of Muriate of Potash (MOP). Current demand and import of MOP into India is
around 65 LMT which is mostly sourced from Canada, Belarus, and Russian federation
etc. In recent times a large number of junior potash mine developers have emerged in
Canada who are keen to tie up guaranteed off-take by potential end users.
1.2 Being a vital nutrient, from the end users perspective there is need to securities supplies
on a long term basis at reasonable cost. In this context a proposal has been received from
one such potash developer M/s Encanto Potash, Vancouver, Canada offering approx. 2.0
million Te MOP per annum on a long term basis with 8 % discount over ruling market
price. A number of Indian fertilizer companies engaged in manufacture and distribution
of fertilizers have shown interest in a long term arrangement and have indicated yearly
off-take quantities they would be interested in tying up on long term basis at a negotiated
price and terms and conditions. These entities have agreed to form a consortium and
collectively negotiate the offer. These consortium members have mandated Rashtriya
Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. (RCF) to lead the consortium. RCF is a Public Sector
Undertaking under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of
Fertilizers and Chemicals and is engaged in manufacture of nitrogenous (N), phosphatic
      (P) and potash (K) fertilizers and industrial chemicals at its Trombay and Thal units near
      Mumbai.
1.3 The preliminary proposal in the form of draft Potash Off-take Agreement (POTA)
submitted by M/s Encanto Potash has been examined by the members of India
Consortium and preliminary discussions have taken place with M/s Encanto during the
visit of an Indian team to Vancouver comprising officials from Department of Fertilizers
and representatives of Indian Consortium in December 2012. Based on these discussions
M/s Encanto have agreed to review, revise and submit required clarifications and furnish
revised draft of POTA for consideration of Indian Consortium.
1.4 To examine the above proposal, work out reasonable long term pricing formula and draft
certain important clauses of POTA, the Indian Consortium proposes to engage the

top Zeitpunkt ... da haste ja direkt schon mal knapp 12% mitgenommen .. Daumen hoch.

Mal schauen ob sich da was anbahnt.

Man muss nun also bewerten wie gut/schlecht EPO nun da steht.

Und das kann ich noch nicht sagen. Ich halte aber weiterhin meine Anteile.
