FIRST ANGLED HOLE 11-16 AT NORTH BULLION FAULT ZONE INTERSECTS 185 FT. OF 0.124 OZ OF GOLD PER TON (56.4 METERS OF 4.26 G/TONNE): DRILLING CONTINUES

Vancouver, B.C., - Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (“Gold Standard”) (TSXV: GV; OTCQX: GDVXF) www.goldstandardv.com reported today that hole RR11-16 has intersected 185 feet of 0.124 opt (ounces per ton) of gold (56.4 meters of 4.26 grams/Tonne) from 555 to 740 feet (169.2-225.6 meters) including an interval of 60 feet of 0.21 opt of gold (18.3 meters of 7.03g/T) which contains two five foot intercepts grading above 0.4 opt of gold (14 g/T). Mineralization at this depth could be accessible by open pit.

Drill hole RR11-16 is being drilled at an angle of -70° eastward into a north-south-trending target within the North Bullion Fault Zone (Click for Map: http://goldstandardv.com/images/nbf-drill-holes.jpg). Assays for RR11-16 are complete to 880 feet while the hole is continuing at about 1800 feet. The mineralized zone appears to be flat-lying which indicates that these intercepts are likely to approximate true width. Additional drilling is required to define the orientation and thickness of the mineralized zone.

The gold-bearing interval was drilled with PQ core (4.5 inch diameter) and core recovery within the interval was effectively 100%. This interval is in the upper part of the NBFZ target. The zone is hosted by sandstone and mudstone with multiple brecciation events and intense hydrothermal alteration, characterized by barite, alunite, silica and sulfide minerals. Additional altered collapse breccia horizons within the underlying Devils Gate Limestone–the primary target for a large Carlin-style deposit–have now been encountered in the hole and assays are pending.

“The North Bullion Fault Zone (NBFZ) hosts a very large, mineralized breccia body that we discovered in late 2010 and explored through 2011. We believe this breccia was mineralized by multiple high-grade gold feeder zones which are blind targets within the more dispersed lower-grade portions of the breccias. Over the last year, we have narrowed down the search, obtaining increasingly better drill results while defining a major north-south-trending fault complex. RR11-16 is located in the footwall of this complex, angled toward a major east-flanking graben-bounded structure. The character of the rock we see suggests that we may not yet be in a feeder zone…we may have encountered mineralization which is on the flank, or possibly above, a feeder zone. We therefore expect to continue this hole through the graben-bounded structure and into tertiary rocks which mark the edge of the zone of interest,” states Dave Mathewson, Gold Standard`s Vice President of Exploration.

“Our exploration model of large, Carlin-style gold-mineralized dissolution collapse breccias in the footwall of a major graben-bounded gold system has held up very well, and we therefore see the potential for even better results as the drilling continues,” Mr. Mathewson said.

Gold Standard is currently drilling three angled core holes to the east into the NBFZ fault complex. Drill hole RR11-17, located south of RR11-16 and angled at -75, is at a depth of about 2200 feet. Drill hole RR11-18, located north of RR11-16 and angled at a -70° is at about 1700 feet. Both of these holes are drilling well within favorable stratigraphy and should be completed within the next three weeks. Upon completion of all three holes currently in progress, two of the core rigs will remain drilling the NBFZ target. The third core rig will be moved to assist drill testing the Company’s East Camp Douglas targets.

The Company also reported the results from the northernmost hole drilled to date on the NBFZ target, vertical scout hole RR11-09 This hole was completed at 1678.5 feet (511.6m) late last year. RR11-09 contained intervals of 32.5 feet of 0.088 opt of gold (9.9 m of 3.03 g/T) from 1185 feet to 1217 feet (361.2 to 370.9m), and 34 feet of 0.016 opt of gold (10.4m of 0.558g/T) from 1316 to1350 (401.1 to 411.5m) straddling the targeted contact of Webb mudstone and underlying dolomitized Devils Gate limestone. This gold mineralization establishes the continuation of the NBFZ gold target more than 2000 feet north of drill hole RR11-16. “This result is further confirmation of the very large and robust system we are exploring”, noted Mr. Mathewson.

Samples from split core were taken using industry standard procedures and were submitted with standard reference material and blanks. Assay intervals are weighted averages. Samples are analyzed for gold using a fire assay fusion and an atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) finish on a 30 gram split by ALS Minerals, an internationally certified and accredited provider of analytical services.

Highlights of new assay results from RR11-18 include: 255 feet of 0.048 ozAu/st (77.8m of 1.63g) from 1070 to 1325 feet (326.1-403.9m), including 110 feet of 0.075 ozAu/st (33.5m of 2.58g) from 1180 to 1290 feet (359.7-393.2m). Thick zones of gold mineralization occur within and below complex, tectonically broken to shattered zones within what has been interpreted to be multiple slide-blocks lying above, and affected by, large mineralized dissolution-collapse created breccia bodies developed within underlying carbonate rock units. The breccia bodies encountered in our drill holes are locally more than 1500 feet thick. This geological setting of overlying, generally non-permissive siliciclastic rock units that provide a cap above carbonate rocks that have undergone large volumes of hydrothermal induced dissolution and collapse is a common theme and an ideal geological setting for the development of very large gold deposits in Nevada, examples of which include Gold Strike and Gold Quarry in the central and northern portions of the Carlin Trend.

“Early in our Railroad exploration program our drilling encountered large, thick zones of collapse breccias containing anomalous gold up to the one gram, or more, and these results led us into the NBFZ target area. Potential economically important high grade feeders that created the breccias and fed in the gold mineralization are thoroughly obscured by the non-receptive capping units, and in places post-mineral volcanic rocks. Gravity data combined with geochemistry provided good information for getting us close to the major structures and the possible flanking feeder zones, but it has now become the job of the drill and careful geological interpretation of drill core and assay results to further zero in on the high grade feeder zones. We believe we may have clipped one of these feeders (185 feet of 0.125 ozAu/st) in hole RR11-16,” states Dave Mathewson, Vice President of Exploration.

Drill hole RR12-1 – currently in progress at 920 feet, is an eastward flatter angled -55° offset being drilled from the same site as RR11-18. Drill hole RR12-2 – currently in progress at 1298 feet, is also an eastward flatter angled -55° offset being drilled from the same site as RR11-16. Drill hole RR12-2 is approximately 300 feet to the south of RR12-1. These holes are designed to provide 150 to 300 foot offsets and lateral target comparisons and definition to the mineralization encountered in 18 and 16, and they are designed to further locate and configure potential high grade feeder zones toward the east and north to south within the NBFZ target area. Additional drilling is being planned primarily to the north of these intercepts, but the south direction also remains open to high grade target opportunities. The location of the eastern hard boundary to the mineralization — comprised of a major fault — is approximately known, but has not been intersected by drilling. It is believed that these more flatly drilled (-55°) holes currently in progress may serve to locate the mineral system boundary, but more importantly will provide a greater chance of intersecting high-angle feeder zones and provide good cross-sectional information.

The company would also like to announce that drilling will continue with these two core rigs beyond RR 12-1 and RR 12-2 and will be joined by an additional 4 – 5 rigs to the Railroad Project in late May/early June as we ramp up our 2012 exploration program.

GOLD STANDARD VENTURES INTERSECTS 537 FEET (164 METERS) OF 0.099 OZAU/ST (3.38G/T) AT RAILROAD, NEVADA PROJECT

INTERCEPT IN CORE HOLE RR12-1 INCLUDES 140 FEET (42.7METERS) OF 0.274 OZAU/ST (9.4G/T)

April 26, 2012 – Vancouver, B.C., - Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (“Gold Standard”) (TSXV: GV; OTCQX: GDVXF) www.goldstandardv.com reported today that a new hole, RR 12-1, has intersected 537 feet (164 meters) of 0.099 oz Au/st (3.38 g/t Au) including 140 feet (42.7 meters) of 0.274 oz Au/st (9.40 g/t Au). This intersection includes 12 intercepts (each about 5 feet in length) which assayed greater than 0.3 oz Au/st (10 g/t Au) to as high as 0.75 ozAu/st (25.6g/t Au).

Drill holes RR 12-1 and RR 12-2, commenced in February, were flatter angled -55 degree exploration holes from sites earlier drilled with -70 degree holes. These holes were drilled eastward to focus on a potential high-grade feeder previously discovered in hole RR11-16 within the North Bullion Fault Zone (“NBFZ”) as announced on February 22, 2012. RR12-1 is located about 300 feet north of RR12-02. Both of these holes were designed to further assess the generally north-south-trending NBFZ target and intersect high-grade feeder mineralization within this target zone. Highlights of 12-1 include;

Thick (537 feet/164m) interval of continuous gold mineralization
Drilled at -55° from the same site as RR11-18 which was drilled at -70° and intersected 255 feet of 0.048 ozAu/st (77.8m of 1.63g/t) including 110 feet of 0.075 ozAu/st (33.5m of 2.58g/t).
Approximately a 300 feet northerly step-out from RR 11-16 which intersected 185 feet of 0.125 ozAu/st (56.4m of 4.29g/T) including 60 feet of 0.214 ozAu/st (18.3m of 7.34g/t)
Prematurely terminated in gold mineralization at 1316 feet due to bad rock conditions.
Continues to affirm that the NBFZ mineralization is similar to the larger, more robust gold deposits in the northern portion of the Carlin Trend.

This gold intercept confirms and expands the potential of a major gold deposit discovery within the NBFZ target of Gold Standard’s Railroad project on the Carlin Trend, Nevada.

Dave Mathewson, Gold Standard`s Vice President of Exploration, states that “we are drilling a large zone of strong gold mineralization that remains open in almost all directions. This mineralization has all the characteristics expected of a large and strong gold system and is typical of some of the major gold deposits located on the Carlin Trend and elsewhere in Nevada.”

The high grade gold zones occur within very complex, commonly silicified, baritic, alunitic, and sulfidic tectonic and coincident dissolution created collapse breccias. High-grade gold zones, greater than 0.2 ozAu/st, are also characterized by the presence of abundant “sooty” sulfides, and realgar and orpiment (arsenic sulfides).

Drilling is in progress with two core drills in the NBFZ target area. “With these recent very positive drill results, we will be stepping up our exploration effort within this target area. These results are from only the first target which we have aggressively pursued starting in 2010 within the Railroad exploration program. This bodes well for many of the other targets we are developing and intending to pursue on the property, especially perhaps the nearby Railroad Fault zone, a close analog to Newmont’s and Premier Gold’s Rain Fault gold zone located just to the north in the Rain mining district. Frankly, we are in the very early stages of exploring the Railroad district, especially given its now established credentials for strong gold mineralization. I also wish to add that with our recent staff additions, we have an exploration team as good as any in Nevada. I know this team is up to the challenge of dealing with the very geologically complex, district-scale, gold discovery opportunity of the Railroad Project.” Mr. Mathewson said.

Drill testing of the North Bullion Target Zone has to date defined gold-mineralized breccia bodies in the carbonate rocks more than 1500 feet thick, over 800 feet along strike, and several hundred feet in width. The presence of high value gold mineralization within this target zone has also been established and it remains open in most directions. At least two more core rigs will soon be mobilized onto the target. RedCor Drilling Company, Gold Standards’ core drilling contractor, has been and will continue drilling seven days per week without breaks on the challenging and complex NBFZ target for the foreseeable future

Globe says Gold Standard could be on to something great

The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, May 3, edition that Exploration Insights editor Brent Cook recommends buying Gold Standard Ventures. Franklin Cameron writes in The Globe's BNN Market Call column that Mr. Cook says: "Gold Standard is a very high risk/high reward speculation that the firm has discovered a new, significant Carlin type gold deposit within Nevada's Carlin Trend. The mineralization system is extensive and within this they have intersected long high grade intervals of gold mineralization. Although the stock has appreciated rapidly, if they have indeed found a new Carlin deposit it could be valued at over $1-billion with further drilling success." In his general outlook Mr. Cook says much of the mining sector is overdue for a bounce. He expects the bounce to be short lived. Companies on the TSX Venture Exchange have in the past two years raised over $10-billion in financing. He says that is a heavy load to keep afloat. "This is good news for anyone with cash to deploy. I am beginning to see real value in some of the stocks and expect that as the good ones get thrown out with the bad, we are setting up for a fantastic investment opportunity this and next year."

GOLD STANDARD REPORTS POSITIVE RESULTS FROM THE FIRST CORE HOLES ON ITS EAST CAMP DOUGLAS PROJECT, WALKER LANE, NEVADA SIGNIFICANT SILVER INTERCEPT ALSO REPORTED FROM NORTH BULLION TARGET, RAILROAD PROJECT ON THE CARLIN TREND, NEVADA.

Gold Standard Ventures Corp. has received positive assay results from the first two holes drilled at its 100-per-cent-owned East Camp Douglas project, in the Walker Lane district of Nevada.

ECD12-1, a minus-60-degree hole completed to 786.5 feet (239.7 metres) on the Joe vein target, intersected 30 feet of 0.029 ounce per ton gold (9.1 m of 1.0 gram per tonne) from zero to 30 feet (zero to 9.1 m), and 57 feet of 0.065 ounce per ton Au (17.4 m of 2.31 g/t) from 520 to 577 feet (158.5 to 175.9 m), including an interval of four feet of 0.273 ounce per ton Au (1.2 m of 9.4 g/t). ECD12-03, a minus-60-degree hole completed to 956.8 feet (291.6 m) on the North Camp Douglas target intersected 135 feet of 0.015 ounce per ton Au (41.1 m of 0.503 g/t) from 375 to 510 feet (114.3 to 155.5 m).

ECD12-01 and ECD12-03 are the first two holes of a 10-hole, phase I drilling program now in progress. "These are encouraging results from the first of several targets to be tested within this geologically diverse, district-scale, prospective gold opportunity," states Dave Mathewson, Gold Standard Ventures' vice-president of exploration.

The East Camp Douglas project is located approximately seven miles west of Mina in Mineral county, on the Walker Lane gold belt, Nevada. The leased property position comprises 277 unpatented lode claims and 80 acres of fee land (approximately 5,500 acres). A 30-hole drilling program has been designed, permitted and bonded. Phase I drilling, comprising about 10 holes to be completed on, or about June 1 of this year, will provide an initial test of several targets. Holes ECD12-07 and 08 are now in progress. This is the first core drilling conducted on the property. The program is testing multiple target opportunities identified through detailed geological mapping, surface sampling and district-wide dipole IP (induced polarization/resistivity) survey. The potential presence of both low-grade bulk minable and high-grade, bonanza vein targets in both high sulphidation and low sulphidation geological settings is indicated.

Gold Standard also reports an interesting zone of silver mineralization at its Railroad project in hole RR12-01. The gold values for this hole were announced previously on April 26, 2012. This silver intercept consists of 30 feet of 9.32 ounces of silver from 1,225 to 1,255 feet (9.1 metres of 319.5 g/t Ag from 373.4 to 382.5 metres), including one five-foot interval of 25.5 ounces per ton Ag, and a 4.5-foot interval of 22.6 ounces per ton Ag (876 and 775 g/t Ag, respectively).

RR12-01 contains the thick, high-grade gold results reported on April 26, 2012 -- 537 feet of 0.099 ounce per ton Au from 779 to 1,316 feet (164 m of 3.38 g/t from 237.4 to 321.6 m) This intercept also includes 140 feet of 0.274 ounce per ton Au from 915 to 1,055 feet (42.7 m of 9.40 g/t from 278.9 to 321.6 metres). The silver results reported herein followed the earlier gold assay report.

"We have been encountering local but generally thin zones of silver mineralization within and, in some localities, separate from the gold mineralization, but this is the thickest and best grade of silver we have encountered in our drilling to date. This 30-foot-thick 9.3-ounce-per-ton-silver zone occurs below the high-grade gold zone encountered in RR12-01 within a gold zone averaging about one g/t. This intercept potentially represents economically significant thickness and grade of silver mineralization. The silver is not accompanied by elevated base metals and appears to be associated with the gold-related epithermal emplacement of metals. These silver results, in addition to the gold assay results, demonstrate the presence of an unusually strong, and diverse precious metal system in the North Bullion target zone," Mr. Mathewson said. Currently at the North Bullion target, two core rigs are drilling holes RR12-04 and RR12-05, respectively. Hole RR12-03, angled at minus 65 degrees east and located on site RR11-03, was lost at 600 feet. Hole RR12-05, at minus 75 degrees east, is being drilled at the same site as RR12-03 and is now progressing satisfactorily.

Sampling methodology, chain of custody, quality control and quality assurance for all Railroad project samples

All sampling was conducted under the supervision of the company's project geologist and the chain of custody from the drill to the sample preparation facility was continuously monitored. Core was cut at the company's facility in Elko and one-half was sent to the lab for analysis and the other half retained in the original core box. A blank, quarter core duplicate or certified reference material was inserted approximately every 10th sample. The samples are delivered to ALS Minerals preparation facility in Elko. The samples are crushed and pulverized and sample pulps are shipped to ALS Minerals certified laboratory in Vancouver where they are digested and analyzed using fire assay fusion and an atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) finish on a 30-gram split. Data verification of the analytical results includes a statistical analysis of the duplicates, standards and blanks that must pass certain parameters for acceptance to insure accurate and verifiable results.

The East Camp Douglas drill samples are following the same protocol and are being assayed by SGS Mineral Services, North America.

The scientific and technical content and interpretations contained in this news release have been reviewed, verified and approved by Steven R. Koehler, Gold Standard's manager of projects, BSc, geology, and CPG-10216, a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101, standards of disclosure for mineral projects.

NYSE Regulation Inc., on behalf of NYSE Market LLC, has approved Gold Standard Ventures Corp. for listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Gold Standard anticipates trading on the NYSE will begin on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, under the symbol GSV.

Gold Standard will retain its primary listing on the TSX Ventures Exchange. Ich poste jetz mal in diesen thread, gibt noch nen anderen mit Kommentaren von schniddelwutz und ich hoffe er kommt auch hier mit rein.

Die Nachricht vom profiteer haben wohl tausende heut morgen bekommen und was meine Frage heute wäre - kann der heutige Sprung von dieser pusherei kommen oder ist was substanzielles dahinter?
Generell find ich die story ja nicht schlecht, etwas unsicher bin ich jedoch ob das nicht nochmehr pennystock wird, als es im Moment schon ist. Immerhin sind die paar quadratkilometer nicht unglaublich viel; machen die die ganze Phantasie aus?

Bitte um Expertenfeedback aus dem mining sector.

ich halte generell von solchen börseblättern net viel ( m.m.), hab mich vor langer zeit mal damit etwas die finger verbrannt.wenn ich mir den chart anschaue, dann frag ich mich schon: was bitte soll da großartig steigen,au ist dzt etwas mehr als down,ebenfalls ag und fast alle minenwerte.da müßte schon außerordentliches passieren, daß...ihr wißt schon.2012 war lt. chart dieser ausreisser nach oben,ab damals dümpelt der kurs wieder dahin.hab mich mich zahlen des unternehmens noch net beschäftigt, leite dies rein vom chart ab.kopfzerbrechen macht mir nor der profiteer - nur meine meinung, kann alles anders kommen. in diesem sinne-schönen tag @ all

Wenn ich schon lesen muss: "Bevor die Deutschen es wieder mal verpassen," dann sagt mir das mehr als 1000 schöne Worte. Umgekehrt wurde nämlich allzu oft das berühmte stupid german money abgemolken.
In angelsächsischen Ländern existiert der Glaube, dass die doofen Deutschen sich jeden Dreck andrehen lassen, wenn er nur hübsch serviert wird. Und wisst ihr was? Genau so ist es immer gewesen.
Sind die Macher so deutschfreundlich, dass sie an uns denken, damit wir dem Reichtum nicht hinterher blicken müssen? Aber nein, woanders werden sie das Zeug halt nicht so gut los wie hier.

Stimmt, ist halt deren disclaimer, halte ebenfalls nicht soviel von diesen Blättern, habe aber keine andere Erklärung momentan warum der Kurs so abging die letzten beiden Tage.

Also zu eurer Kritik.

Ich habe diesen Thread vor etwa 2 Jahren eröffnet als erste Ergebnisse die Aktie beflügelten. Damals ist die Aktie innerhalb weniger Monate von 70c auf 3 CAD angestiegen und keiner in Deutschland hat sich dafür interessiert.

Jetzt wird hier wieder gepusht, scheinbar wollen ein paar Leute die durch geschicktes Hantieren und Vertragsauslegung in den Besitz von 51% des Nachbargrundes gekommen sind dieses massiv für sich auswerten also will man nun die deutschen Lemminge doch noch dabei haben und abkassieren.

Die besagte Firma wird von einem alten Bekannten geführt, den so mancher hier vielleicht noch kennt - M Stevens.
Ich denke wir werden bald (innerhalb der nächsten 4 Wochen) eine News von GSV sehen und dann anschliessend von Sphere. Dann wird dieses Thema hier richtig ausgekocht und das Geld der Lemminge eingesammelt.

Solche Werte gab es in dem Explorer Bereich und solche Werte wird es immer geben. Gut um kurzfristig ein paar Euro zu machen aber keine nachhaltige langfristige Geldanlage. Aber die wird ja auch ein erfahrener Investor nicht in einem solchen Wert suchen.

Wie gesagt, wenn man sich über den Thread aufregen will hätte man dies vor 2 Jahren tun sollen und nicht jetzt wenn eh alles gelaufen ist und man nun nur noch Lemminge melken will.

Aber allen hier wünsche ich viel Spass dabei.

sollte nicht an Kritik an dem Thread aufgefasst werden, ich habe den Wert auf WL und habe nur versucht nachzuvollziehen warum in 2 Tagen der Kurs ohne
News angezogen ist.

Deiner Meinung nach also kein Wert in dem man investieren sollte.

Nein, so habe ich das nicht gesagt.

Es kommt darauf an welche Zeitperspektive du siehst und welche Anlageperspektive du suchst.

Sicht die nächsten 4 Monate.

Möglich ist das sie demnächst noch einmal ein Loch hervorkramen wie 2012, und der Kurs bis Mai auf 3.- CAD geht. Das Mangement hier ist eines der erfahreneren im Explorer Markt und das Projekt könnte durchaus noch einzelne Löcher enthalten mit sehr guten Werten.
Würde aber heißen wer jetzt reingeht muss wissen wann er wieder rausgeht, entweder mit Verlust wenn es keine guten Löcher mehr gibt und der Hype relativ schnell abflaut. oder
wenn der Gewinn toll aussieht und es einem das Herz blutet rauszugehen. 2012 ist die Aktie relativ schnell nach der Finanzierung abgestürzt, möglicherweise will ein Fond dieses Jahr Cash machen und dann würde es noch schneller gehen.
Langfristig aber, halte ich es für überhaupt nicht erwiesen das hier eine neue Mine herauskommt und man das Geld was man invstiert hat nicht in den Sand setzt. Irgendwann dümpeln diese Werte dann nur noch vor sich hin.
Und immer werden die Kühe durchs Dorf getrieben man muss die Kuh nur erkennen bevor sie ins Dorf kommt, dann kann man Geld machen. Nicht wenn alle die Kuh bereits kennen.
Nachhaltig sind aber die wenigsten dieser kanadischen Firmen.
Bla, bla wird viel außenherum gemacht. Die richtigen Insiderinfos bekommt man bestimmt nich aus solchen Revolverblättern aber auch nicht hier in Wallstreet online.
Ich kenne einige sehr gute CEOs mit einer Riesenvita, wenn das Business so leicht wäre das man nur in Wallstreet Online sich die 3 Titel raussuchen muss die die Gewinner der Jahres sind, dann wäre das alles Milliardäre. Nur irgendwie klappt das nicht einmal bei denen.
Wichtig vielleicht ist nur Goldstorm wurde in den USA und in Canada bereits mehrfach durchs Dorf getrieben, scheinbar versucht man es diesmal mit Deutschland.
Keine Ahnung ob dies dir nun hilft bei deiner Entscheidung, aber die muss jeder selber treffen. Hinterher sind wir alle Klüger.

GOLD STANDARD REPORTS DRILLING CONTINUES TO EXPAND NORTH BULLION GOLD DEPOSIT IN CARLIN TREND, NEVADA

Gold Standard Ventures Corp. has released results from RR13-14, the most recent hole drilled (in late 2013) into the North Bullion deposit. Results include an interval of 30.6 metres of 1.23 grams per tonne gold starting at 294.7 metres and 39.9 metres of 0.65 g/t gold starting at 337.5 metres. These intervals effectively offset and extend the critical lower breccia zone another 65 metres (200 feet) to the west of RR13-11. The North Bullion deposit remains open to further expansion to the west and to the north. Another step-out, RR13-15, is set to be drilled about 65 metres farther to the west.

Gold Standard also reported that Newmont USA Ltd., a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corp., has provided the company with the results of metallurgical tests of drill core from the North Bullion deposit conducted by Newmont. The tests were designed to determine if North Bullion deposit mineralization is amenable to the established recovery technologies commonly used for Carlin-type ores. Three samples were taken from composited quarter-cut North Bullion drill core. All three samples were considered to be refractory material. The samples assayed 2.30g g/t gold (0.067 ounce per ton), 11.7 g/t gold (0.340 ounce per ton) and 8.06 g/t gold (0.235 ounce per ton). Gold recoveries were 83.1 per cent, 90.0 per cent and 78.8 per cent, respectively, indicating that North Bullion mineralization is likely to be conducive to roaster processing.

Highlights:

Drill holes RR13-08 and RR13-11, together with the most recent hole RR13-14, appear to indicate a west-trending bulge or extension in the North Bullion deposit. This change in mineralization pattern could represent an association with an important west-northwest-trending feeder structure.
The North Bullion gold mineralization appears to be conducive to roaster processing.

Metallurgical test details

Three samples of material from the Railroad property were provided to Newmont. Each sample was taken from drill core and was expected to be refractory. A scope of work was generated to conduct head assays (duplicate fire assays, AuCN assays and preg-rob assays), carbon and sulphur assays with a LECO furnace, and a multielement ICP-MS assay. The samples were carbonaceous and sulphidic refractory with very different gold grades, arsenic grades and sulphide sulphur contents. All three samples responded reasonably well to bench top roast tests with recoveries between 78 per cent and 90 per cent:

Sample No. 1 represents a 95-foot lower breccia interval from 1,200 to 1,295 feet in hole RR11-18.
Sample No. 2 represents a 45-foot upper breccia interval from 960 to 1,005 feet in hole RR12-01.
Sample No. 3 represents a 20-foot lower breccia interval from 1,160 to 1,180 feet in hole RR13-08.

Roaster recoveries varied between 78.8 per cent and 90 per cent. The cause of the recovery variances was not determined. Sulphide sulphur burns were between 94 per cent and 96 per cent, and organic carbon burns were between 78 per cent and 93 per cent. The results suggest that the roast was complete. The calcines had calculated preg-rob values between zero and 0.007 ounce per ton with AA/FA ratios between 77 per cent and 84 per cent, further supporting the conclusion that all the organic carbon was burned.

Dave Mathewson, Gold Standard's vice-president of exploration, stated: "We are pleased with the metallurgical results for the North Bullion gold deposit. The results indicate that the refractory material is suitable to either roaster or autoclave beneficiation, and these facilities exist within reasonable trucking distance of our Railroad project. We are also excited by the continuing lateral expansion of the North Bullion deposit. Each successive hole is adding significant mineralized tonnage which we expect to be reflected in the resource estimate scheduled for later this year."

North Bullion drilling update

Gold Standard is also pleased to report the final assay results for the late 2013 North Bullion drilling campaign. Hole RR13-14 is an 85-degree east-directed hole designed to provide a west offset of the lower breccia mineralization encountered in holes RR13-08 and -11. The hole encountered a total of about 70 metres of gold mineralization within the lower breccia. Of particular importance in this hole is the style and degree of silica, barite and dolomite alteration at this distance from the Bullion fault corridor. The strength and amount of this alteration strongly suggest proximity to a system feeder structure. This hole steps farther away from the Bullion fault corridor structure zone; therefore, another feeder structure at a different location and with different orientation appears to be in play.

Sampling methodology, chain of custody, and quality control and quality assurance

All sampling was conducted under the supervision of the company's project geologists, and the chain of custody from the drill to the sample preparation facility was continuously monitored. Core was cut at the company's facility in Elko, and one-half was sent to the lab for analysis and the other half retained in the original core box. A blank, quarter-core duplicate or certified reference material was inserted approximately every 10th sample. The samples are delivered to ALS Minerals preparation facility in Elko. The samples are crushed and pulverized, and sample pulps are shipped to ALS Minerals certified laboratory in Vancouver. Pulps are digested and analyzed for gold using fire assay fusion and an atomic absorption spectroscopy finish on a 30-gram split. All other elements are determined by ICP analysis. Data verification of the analytical results includes a statistical analysis of the duplicates and standards and blanks that must pass certain limits for acceptance to ensure accurate and verifiable results.

Lagerstätte North Bullion: metallurgische Erstanalyse anhand der bei Carlin-Erzen üblichen Verarbeitungsmethoden liefert hervorragende Ausbeute

22. Januar 2014 - Vancouver, B.C. - Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (TSXV: GSV; NYSE MKT: GSV) ("Gold Standard" oder das "Unternehmen") (www.goldstandardv.com) hat heute die Ergebnisse aus Loch RR13-14 bekannt gegeben. Es handelt sich um die jüngste Bohrung (Ende 2013) im Bereich der Lagerstätte North Bullion. Die Ergebnisse beinhalten einen Abschnitt von 30,6 Metern mit 1,23 g Au/t, der in 294,7 Metern Tiefe beginnt, und einen Abschnitt von 39,9 Meter mit 0,65 g Au/t, ab 337,5 Metern Tiefe. Anhand dieser Abschnitte konnte der kritische Bereich der unteren Brekzienzone westlich von Loch RR13-11 erfolgreich um 65 Meter (200 Fuß) erweitert werden. Die Lagerstätte North Bullion hat in westlicher und nördlicher Richtung weiteres Expansionspotenzial. Rund 65 Meter weiter westlich soll mit Loch RR13-15 eine zusätzliche Stepout-Bohrung erfolgen (siehe Karte unten).

Wie Gold Standard berichtet, hat Newmont USA Limited, ein Tochterunternehmen der Newmont Mining Corp. (NYSE:NEM) ("Newmont"), eine metallurgische Analyse von Bohrkernmaterial aus der Lagerstätte North Bullion durchgeführt und dem Unternehmen nun die Ergebnisse mitgeteilt. Zweck der Untersuchungen war es festzustellen, ob sich die Gewinnungsmethoden, wie sie bei der Verarbeitung von Erzen aus dem Carlin-Trend üblich sind, auch für die Mineralisierung der Lagerstätte North Bullion eignen. Drei Proben wurden aus der Mischprobe des geviertelten Bohrkerns aus North Bullion entnommen, und alle drei wurden als Refraktärmaterial eingestuft. Die Proben wiesen einen Goldgehalt von 2,30 g/t (0,067 oz Au/st), 11,7 g/t (0,34 oz Au/st) und 8,06 g/t (0,235 oz Au/st) auf. Die Goldausbeute lag bei jeweils 83,1 %, 90,0 % und 78,8 %, was für eine Eignung der Mineralisierung bei North Bullion für die Röstung sprechen würde.


Wichtigste Ergebnisse:

• Die Bohrlöcher RR13-08 und RR13-11 scheinen gemeinsam mit dem jüngsten Loch RR13-14 auf eine nach Westen gerichtete Erweiterung der Lagerstätte North Bullion hinzudeuten. Diese Änderung im Mineralisierungsmuster könnte eine Verbindung mit einer wichtigen Feeder-Struktur mit westnordwestlichem Verlauf darstellen.

• Die Goldmineralisierung bei North Bullion dürfte sich für die Röstung eignen.


Details der metallurgischen Analyse

Es wurden drei Materialproben aus dem Konzessionsgebiet Railroad an Newmont übergeben. Jede Probe wurde aus Bohrkernmaterial entnommen und als refraktär eingestuft. Es wurden diverse Untersuchungen durchgeführt, um den Höchstgehalt (Brandprobe Duplikate, AuCN, Preg Robbing), Kohlenstoffgehalt und Schwefelgehalt der Proben zu bestimmen. Dazu wurden ein LECO-Ofen und eine Multielement-Analyse (ICP-MS) verwendet. Die Proben enthielten Kohlenstoff und Sulfid (refraktär) und hatten sehr unterschiedliche Gold-, Arsen- und Schwefelsulfidgehalte. Alle drei Proben sprachen gut auf die Röstung ("Bench Top Roast Tests") an und lieferten eine Ausbeute zwischen 78 % und 90 %.

Probe Nr.1 repräsentiert einen 95 Fuß breiten Abschnitt aus der unteren Brekzie in einer Tiefe zwischen 1200 und 1295 Fuß in Loch RR11-18.

Probe Nr.2 repräsentiert einen 45 Fuß breiten Abschnitt aus der oberen Brekzie in einer Tiefe zwischen 960 und 1005 Fuß in Loch RR12-01.

Probe Nr.3 repräsentiert einen 20 Fuß breiten Abschnitt aus der unteren Brekzie in einer Tiefe zwischen 1160 und 1180 Fuß in Loch RR13-08.

Die bei der Röstung erzielte Ausbeute schwankte zwischen 78,8 % und 90 %, wie in Tabelle 2 ersichtlich. Der Grund für die Schwankungen bei der Ausbeute konnte nicht festgestellt werden. Der Verbrennungsgrad von Schwefelsulfid lag zwischen 94 % und 96 %, der Verbrennungsgrad von organischem Kohlenstoff zwischen 78 % und 93 %. Die Ergebnisse lassen darauf schließen, dass eine vollständige Röstung erfolgte. Die Kalzinierungsprodukte wiesen laut Berechnung Preg-Robbing-Werte zwischen 0 und 0,007 Unzen/Tonne und ein AA/FA-Verhältnis zwischen 77 % und 84 % auf. Dies ist ein weiterer Hinweis darauf, dass der gesamte organische Kohlenstoff verbrannt wurde.

Gold Standard freut sich außerdem, die Endergebnisse der Analyse von Proben aus der Ende 2013 absolvierten Bohrung bei North Bullion bekannt zu geben. Loch RR13-14 verläuft in östlicher Richtung in einem Winkel von -85°, und ist als westliche Abzweigung von der unteren Brekzienmineralisierung, die in den Löchern RR13-08 und 11 durchteuft wurde, zu sehen. Im Loch wurde innerhalb der Brekzienzone eine Goldmineralisierung von insgesamt rund 70 Metern entdeckt (siehe nachfolgende Tabelle). Von besonderer Bedeutung in diesem Loch ist die Art und der Grad der Quarz-, Barit- und Dolomitalterierung in diesem Abstand vom Verwerfungskorridor (Bullion Fault Corridor). Die Ausprägung und das Volumen dieser Alterierung lassen darauf schließen, dass sich mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit ganz in der Nähe eine Feeder-Struktur des Systems befindet. Dieses Loch ist noch weiter von der Strukturzone des Verwerfungskorridors entfernt, sodass hier eine weitere Feeder-Struktur in einem anderen Bereich und mit anderer Ausrichtung zu vermuten ist.

In der nachfolgenden Tabelle sind die Durchschneidungen in Loch RR13-14 im Detail ersichtlich.

*Anmerkung: die in der vorstehenden Tabelle angeführten Goldabschnitte basieren auf einem Cutoff-Wert von 0,25 g Au/t (0,007 oz Au/st). Zur Berechnung aller angeführten Abschnitte wurde ein gewichteter Durchschnitt herangezogen. Es kann nicht gesagt werden, ob die angeführten Goldabschnitte tatsächlich die wahre Mächtigkeit abbilden. Im Allgemeinen ist die Goldverteilung innerhalb dieser großen, komplexen Brekzienkörper unregelmäßig und es sind zusätzliche Bohrungen erforderlich, um die wahre Mächtigkeit feststellen zu können.


Methoden der Probenahme, Produktkette, Qualitätskontrolle und Qualitätssicherung:

Die Entnahme der Proben fand unter der Aufsicht der am Projekt beteiligten Geologen des Unternehmens statt, die Produktkette von der Bohrung bis zu Aufbereitung der Proben in der Anlage wurde nahtlos überwacht. Der Kern wurde in der unternehmenseigenen Anlage in Elko zerteilt. Eine Hälfte wurde zur Analyse an das Labor übermittelt, die andere Hälfte wurde im ursprünglichen Kernbehälter verwahrt. Nach ungefähr jeder zehnten Probe wurde eine Leerprobe, ein Viertelkernduplikat oder zertifiziertes Referenzmaterial beigefügt. Die Proben werden in die Aufbereitungsanlage von ALS Minerals in Elko gebracht. Die Proben werden zerkleinert und gemahlen und das Mahlpulver anschließend an das zertifizierte Labor von ALS Minerals in Vancouver übergeben. Das Mahlpulver wird aufgeschlossen und auf seinen Goldgehalt untersucht. Dazu wird eine Teilprobe von 30 Gramm einer Brandprobe und einer Atomabsorptionsspektroskopie (AAS) unterzogen. Alle anderen Elemente werden mittels ICP-Analyse bestimmt. Im Rahmen der Verifizierung der Analyseergebnisse werden auch die Duplikate, Standard- und Leerproben einer statistischen Analyse unterzogen. Um genaue und verifizierbare Ergebnisse zu gewährleisten, müssen bestimmte vorgegebene Toleranzparameter erfüllt werden.

Der wissenschaftliche und technische Inhalt und die Auswertungsergebnisse, die in dieser Pressemeldung angeführt sind, wurden von Steven R. Koehler, dem Projektmanager von Gold Standard, BSc. Geology und CPG-10216, in seiner Funktion als qualifizierter Sachverständiger gemäß National Instrument 43-101 (Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects) geprüft, verifiziert und freigegeben.

Ein mir bekannter Geologe hat vergangene Woche mit dem Chefgeologen gesprocheb.

Der ist momentan ziemlich angepisst von dem Aktienkurs, er ist aber total begeistert von Pinion und erwartet dort mehr als 1 Mio minbare Oz.

Drilling wird bald losgehen und es könnte zum Hauptproject von GSV werden.

Ich denke das irrst du dich.

Gold Standard hat genug Geld mit dem pp eingenommen.
Die Start der Drillings werde Ende April / Anfang Mai beginnen und man will bereits im 4. Quartal eine 1. initiale Ressourcenschätzung für Pinion fertig haben.

Ich bin gespannt was man im Sommer erdrillen wird. Es wird also reichlich News geben, und davon leben diese kleinen Werte alle. Ich würde nicht zuviel auf die Marktschreier geben. Weder negativ noch positiv.

Wir werden sehen was passiert.
