Palladium One Mining Inc. has discovered a large MT (magnetotelluric) resistivity anomaly on the Tyko I property, which forms part of the larger Tyko nickel-copper project, in Ontario, Canada. The MT resistivity anomaly is coincident with the high-grade West Pickle Zone and extends eastward toward the RJ Zone suggesting that they form one continuous mineralizing system.

Was mir aufstößt ist, dass klammheimlich der Focus wieder verschoben wurde, weg von Palladium (was IMO strategisch vollkommen richtig ist) hin zu Batterie Metals. Nächster Namenswechsel dann in BatterieMetalsOne oder wieder NICKEL ONE?!?

The soil sampling was conducted along an interpreted chonolith/feeder dike structure. Täuscht mein Eindruck oder hat Palladium One einen Strategiewechsel vollzogen und seinen Focus vom Finnland-Projekt Läntinen Koillismaa verlagert auf das Tyko nickel-copper project in Ontario? Dann können sie sich ja jetzt umbenennen von Palladium One in Nickel One!
Oder in Battery Metals One...!

Wenn dem so sein sollte, vielleicht ist das der Grund für den Einstieg von Glencore??? Weg von Palladium hin zu battery metals!

Im Oktober/November 2021 hatte immer mehr Zweifel an der Nachfrage bzw. der zukünftigen Verwendung und Preisentwicklung von Palladium und PGMs bekommen (weniger Verbrenner = weniger Katalysatoren = weniger Palladium und Rhodium / mehr EVs = mehr Batterien = mehr Lithium, Nickel, Cobalt, Manganese, ) und nach und nach alle entsprechenden PGM-Werte verkauft, ich bin damals verstärkt in Lithium gegangen.

Provokante These war (Beitrag Nr. 103 am 22.10.21):
Palladium One ist die Vergangenheit und Liontown die Zukunft.

Seither haben sie die Preise bereits halbiert:
Palladium: 1375.00
Rhodium: 6800.00

In der Wertentwicklung zwischen beiden Unternehmen sieht es noch deutlicher aus:

PALLADIUM ONE COMPLETES PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED ACQUISITION OF METALCORP LIMITED, EXPANDING ITS CANADIAN FOOTPRINT

Palladium One Mining Inc. and MetalCorp Ltd. (MTC) have successfully completed the previously announced statutory plan of arrangement under the provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario). Pursuant to the arrangement, among other things, Palladium One acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of MetalCorp. The arrangement became effective at 12:01 a.m. (Toronto time) on May 2, 2023, resulting in MetalCorp becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Palladium One.

Under the terms of the arrangement, each former MetalCorp shareholder is entitled to receive, in exchange for each common share in the capital of MetalCorp held, 0.30 of a common share in the capital of Palladium One (each whole share, a Palladium share). Further, under the arrangement, all options to acquire MTC shares outstanding immediately prior to the effective time are exchanged for stock options to purchase Palladium shares at the exchange ratio.

"The deemed value of the MetalCorp acquisition is approximately $3.3-million paid in shares and, for that, Palladium One assumes approximately $1.8-million of cash and, for the remainder of the purchase price being approximately $1.5-million, obtains optionality on both precious metal and critical mineral projects in Ontario, Canada. Importantly, Palladium One assumes a significant pool of assessment credits and therefore has no spending obligations for many years to come," commented Derrick Weyrauch, president and chief executive officer of Palladium.

In order to receive the Palladium shares in exchange for their MTC shares, registered MTC shareholders are reminded that they must complete, sign and return the letter of transmittal to Computershare Investor Services Inc., in its capacity as depositary under the arrangement, together with their certificate(s) or DRS statement(s) representing their MTC shares, in accordance with the tender procedures described in MTC's management information circular dated March 22, 2023, which is available on SEDAR under MTC's issuer profile. Any MTC shares held in the CDS system were automatically deposited under the arrangement and the beneficial shareholders thereof will receive the Palladium shares at the exchange ratio in respect of such MTC shares............

Metalcorp Ltd. shareholders voted overwhelmingly to approve the proposed plan of arrangement pursuant to the provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario). Under the arrangement, Palladium One Mining Inc. will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Metalcorp in exchange for 0.30 of a common share of Palladium for each Metalcorp common share held. At the special meeting of shareholders of Metalcorp held yesterday, April 24, 2023, 69,751,493 common shares of the company, representing 58.07 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares, were voted in person or by proxy, of which 99.67 per cent of the common shares were voted in favour of the arrangement. In addition, on a vote by Metalcorp shareholders, excluding those shareholders who are interested parties within the meaning of Multilateral Instrument 61-101 (Protection of Minority Security Holders in Special Transactions), 99.66 per cent of the votes cast in person or by proxy were voted in favour of the arrangement.

Metalcorp also applied for, and obtained today, April 25, 2023, a final order approving the arrangement from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (commercial list). Palladium One Mining Inc. has released the final results of the 2022 drill program on the Tyko nickel-copper project, in Ontario, Canada. These results represent the widest intercepts to date from the West Pickle zone massive sulphide discovery.

moin SCT & thx nochmal für den sinnigen tip........über die angedachte MTC- verschmelzung
akt. noch mit erheblich geringerem kap.- aufwand zu PDM- stücken zu kommen !!!!

davon unbenommen erachte ich die 10%- beteiligung einer GLENCORE zu einem 50% höheren
kurs als zum vortag !!!! als ein MEGA- symbol hinsichtlich comp.- einschätzung, was sich dann
auch überzeugend im TOP- handels- vol. von über 10mio ausdrückte.......mit folg. LASTS.........

Hallo zusammen

Bin hier auch dabei. Da Glencore nach deren Check zur Kentniss kommt, dass PalladiumOne mind. 15 CAD Cents Wert ist, dann kann hier schon etwas riskieren. Risikolos geht bei SmallCaps leider nie, aber Glencore steigt eher selten bei SmallCaps ein was ich spannend finde.

Evtl. kann man auch MetalCorp Limited MTC.V kaufen. Diese werden wohl Ende April in PalladiumOne verschmolzen, 40% vom MTC Management hat dem Deal zugestimmt. Somit wohl bereits beschlossen. Wer MTC bei 0.035 CAD kauft, hat somit einen PalladiumOne Wert von "nur" 0.117 was rund 5 bis 10% günstiger ist als der aktuelle PDM Kurs.

Alles nur meine Meinung und keine Empfehlung

Palladium One meldet eine fast 250%ige Steigerung der angezeigten LK-Ressourcen in Finnland
Palladium One Mining (TSXV: PDM) hat ein NI 43-101-konformes Mineralressourcen-Update für das zu 100 % unternehmenseigene PGM-Kupfer-Nickel-Projekt Läntinen Koillismaa (LK) in Nordmittelfinnland veröffentlicht.

Die neue Ressource umfasst drei Tagebaue im Gebiet Kaukua, einschließlich einer ersten Ressource für Kaukua South und Murtolampi (insgesamt 210 Bohrlöcher mit einer Gesamtlänge von 44 km), sowie eine Ressource bei Haukiaho (84 Bohrlöcher mit einer Gesamtlänge von etwa 13.400 Metern), das 10 km südlich von Kaukua liegt.

Die angezeigten Ressourcen im Gebiet Kaukua werden auf 38,2 Millionen Tonnen mit einem Gehalt von 0,61 g/t Palladium, 0,22 g/t Platin, 0,07 g/t Gold, 0,13 % Kupfer, 0,11 % Nickel und 64,56 g/t Kobalt geschätzt. Dies stellt eine beträchtliche Steigerung von 248 % gegenüber der vorherigen angezeigten Schätzung dar. Nahezu die Hälfte (44 %) der Gesamtressourcen auf dem Projekt LK befinden sich nun in der angezeigten Kategorie.

Die abgeleiteten Ressourcen, die sowohl in den Grubengebieten Kaukua und Murtolampi als auch in der Zone Haukiaho enthalten sind, belaufen sich auf insgesamt 49,7 Millionen Tonnen mit einem Gehalt von 0,43 g/t Palladium, 0,17 g/t Platin, 0,09 g/t Gold, 0,16 % Kupfer, 0,14 % Nickel und 73,98 g/t Kobalt, was einer Steigerung von 14 % entspricht.

Researchers at Yale University have taken another step toward the development of low-temperature, lower-cost alkaline fuel cells, which are battery-like devices that convert oxygen and hydrogen into electricity and heat.

In research recently published in the journal Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Yale engineers report synthesizing a platinum-free catalyst for use in alkaline fuel cells by substituting less-costly palladium for platinum and combining it with silver.

The catalyst is the part of the fuel cell that breaks down the fuel (alcohol or hydrogen, for example), setting in motion other chemical reactions that ultimately produce electricity and heat. Platinum has been the preferred catalyst material, but its scarcity has prevented the widespread use of fuel cells. The Yale researchers showed that a palladium-silver combination is almost as effective as platinum, making it a viable — and less expensive — alternative.

“The high cost of platinum and other noble metals is one of the major hurdles for the commercialization of low-temperature fuel cells,” said André D. Taylor, assistant professor of chemical and environmental engineering at Yale and principal investigator of the research. “This catalyst architecture could reduce this cost by using palladium only in the shell region of the catalyst.”

The researchers’ technique for making the catalyst’s thin palladium shell, called galvanic displacement, could be used for fabricating new materials with properties appropriate for a wide range of other applications, such as sensors, or battery materials.

The new, platinum-free catalyst has a unique core-shell structure; the thin shell is palladium, the core silver. This allows for higher catalytic activity and greater tolerance for impurities than standard platinum-based catalysts. Particles of silver coated with palladium cover the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes, promoting the reduction of oxygen over the oxidation of alcohol, facilitating desirable chemical reactions.

The research results show that silver-palladium multi-walled carbon nanotubes are promising platinum-free cathode catalysts with desirable properties for oxygen reduction, as well as an improved tolerance to methanol and ethanol. Tolerance to alcohol is important due to fuel crossover in the fuel cell, which occurs by the diffusion across the membrane.
