Noch vor wenigen Wochen hochgelobt - heute keiner Erwähnung wert, Alexion, einst Liebling von Börsenaltmeister B. Foertsch und Boerse online.
Vielleicht sollte man jetzt, die Aktie hat sich geviertelt, mal wieder hinschauen. Alexion notiert derzeit am Buchwert, die Kasse entspricht dem derzeitigen Boersenkurs. Technologie und wissenschaftliches know how gibts gratis.
P.S. Charles Schwab vergibt an Alexion als einzigem Biotechwert die Höchstnote 5 stars, der Wert befindet sich ferner in den Portfolios führender Biotechexperten, nachzulesen bei Yahoo.

Traurig, kein Schwein interessiert sich für Alexion, obwohl diese Aktie demnächst ausbrechen dürfte. Na ja, vielleicht empfiehlt bald wieder Foertsch diesen Titel im Aktionär - wie unlängst zum ca. dreifachen Wert - dann werden bestimmt einige aufmerksam. Warum nicht umgekehrt, buy low, sell high - zu gut deutsch, güntig einkaufen. Immerhin sind diverse Fonds bereits drin, Janus, auch die berühmte BB Biotech, Fidelity etc.
P.S. : ergänzend einige Stichworte - die Aktie notiert nahe Buchwert, hat diverse aussichtsreiche Medikamente in der Pipeline - Herzinfarkt, Psoriasis u.v.m., stark leerverkauft, Bodenbildung, InsiderK ä u f e, demnächst Präsentationen bei mehreren Konferenzen n o c h kein Partner aus der Pharmaindustrie , ergo jede Menge Phantasie und Potenzial.
P.P.S. : wenn der Kurs doppelt so hoch ist werden sich diverse der vorgenannten Pro - Investment - Argumente im Aktionär, Handelsblatt, Börse Online etc. finden. Good luck!

ich beobachte sie auch seit wochen
aufgefallen ist wie schnell kursgewinne wieder verloren gingen.(auch intraday)
übrigens hab ich auf n-tv ein interview mit dem BB Biotech chef gesehen und der hat gesagt daß sie
ihre positionen in alexion reduziert haben. ich vermute daß dies und die verunsicherung aufgrund der
letzten Testergebnisse die zwar für das Gesuchte ein negatives ergebnis brachten gleichzietig aber ein positives
in einem nicht gesuchten Bereich,der grund für den Kursrückgang.
Über 30$ dürften wir von ausbruch sprechen können.
Das Kurspotential (chart) ist ja gewaltig,...

also gibt`s doch noch Interessenten. Irgendwie erinnert mich Alexion an Viropharma, die vor einigen Monaten gnadenlos heruntergeprügelt wurden und dann schön nach oben liefen. Die Umsätze in USA legen wieder zu, man weiss nur nicht, ob shortseeler weiter leerverkaufen oder bereits jetzt die Trendwende eingeläutet wird.
Aber : die bad news müssten im Kurs enthalten sein und nur eine gute Meldung dürfte den Kurs durch die 30 $ schiessen lassen. M.E. auf dem jetzigen Niveau ein guts Chance - Risiko - Verhältnis.

und 20$ cash pro aktie hab ich bei sonst keiner gefunden vrtx zb 6$ crgn 11$
wie kraftlos sie ist sieht man aber auch heute wieder ohne
gesamtanstieg geht nix.

die letzten Kaufempfehlungen für Alexion die ich finden konnte stammen noch vom Januar, wo die Aktie danach noch zu einem kurzem Höhenflug ansetzte.

Aber ich bin sicher bei den Voraussetzungen wird die Aktie demnächst nach oben ausbrechen, vorausgesetzt die positive Stimmung der Bios hält weiter an.
Wenn die Aktie erst läuft, dann werden viele auf den fahrenden Zug aufspringen und den Kurs weiter nach oben treiben.

momentan fürcht ich aber daß der dow die 11000 nicht halten kann.
Andererseits hat Greenspan weitere Zinssenkungen angekündigt,....

Ich hab noch eine Nasdaq Biotech index aktie gefunden die bei 30 einen horizontalen widerstand
hat : CBST Cubist Pharma.

haben aber "nur" 4$ cash je aktie was aber auc ein guter wert ist,....
sieht mir vom chart her aber auch nach viel Kurspotenzial aus

Bevor man da investiert, sollte man sich aber erst einmal mit der Pipeline des Unternehmens vertraut machen. Was nützt es wenn die Aktie im Augenblick billig aussieht, aber die Phantasie für weitere Kursgewinne fehlt.

Therapeutic Agonist Antibody Accelerated Return to Normal Platelet Levels in Cancer Treatment Model
CHESHIRE, Conn., May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALXN - news) announced today the results of a preclinical study of a new class of therapeutic antibodies that accelerated the return to normal platelet levels in an animal model of bone marrow toxicity commonly found in cancer patients. Antibodies in this new class function as agonists that stimulate their cell target, rather than blocking it, and were created using a rational design and selection process utilizing proprietary technology developed at Alexion Antibody Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alexion.

``This new class of rationally-designed agonist antibodies represents one component of the product candidate pipeline resulting from our ongoing antibody discovery and development initiative directed towards cancer,`` stated Katherine S. Bowdish, Ph.D., President of Alexion Antibody Technologies and Vice President, Antibody Discovery at Alexion. ``The broad utility of the proprietary technology used here should allow us to develop additional therapeutic candidates in oncology and other disease areas.`` Dr. Bowdish presented her findings today at Cambridge Healthtech Institute`s Conference on Recombinant Therapeutics: Antibodies and Biomolecules, in Baltimore, Maryland.

This new class of agonist antibody is designed to selectively bind to the c-Mpl receptor on the surface of platelet precursors and then to stimulate platelet-specific proliferation and differentiation both in vitro and in vivo. As presented at the meeting, in preclinical studies, platelet counts were increased 60% in agonist antibody-treated animals as compared to baseline (P<.0001). The lead candidate agonist antibody has been designed to bind to and stimulate the c-Mpl receptor with the same strength as the body`s own natural platelet hormone, thrombopoietin. However, this new class of antibodies lack any protein sequences related to native thrombopoietin. This may provide additional therapeutic benefit by potentially eliminating the harmful immune responses that have been observed against native thrombopoietin following the administration of human thrombopoietin. Promotion of platelet formation by an agonist antibody may provide a significant additional therapeutic advantage relative to existing therapies that result in significant and commonly observed cytokine-related adverse effects.

According to published reports, over nine million units of platelets are transfused per year in the United States. Platelet transfusion for anti-cancer drug-induced thrombocytopenia is a frequent occurrence in various types of cancer treatment including leukemia, bone marrow transplantation for varied disorders, and certain solid tumors. In addition to resulting in the increased exposure to blood products, such thrombocytopenia may prolong hospital stay, necessitate additional resource utilization, and be associated with reduced or delayed administration of vital chemotherapy.

Alexion 380 MIllionen Marktkapitalisierung und 370 Millionen Cash! Verlust liegt zwar bei 6 Millionen, aber welcher Biotechwert macht das nicht!!
Bei 24 Euro unbedingt zuschlagen!! Bewertung bei YAHOO.COM:

Nö für mich sieht das ding so aus als ob es noch weiter sinken wird. Sie hat 2 mal versucht die 35€ zu durchbrechen aber ohne erfolg!!! erinnert mich irgendwie an GPC Bio, deshalb warte ich noch ab und schlag zu wenn die 35 gebrochen sind.
Empfehlen tun sie vieles aber schau dir mal die empfehlungen an und schau wo die werte liegen. Die meisten liegen min. 50% unter den empfohlenem Wert
