A funny thing happened today with Bayswater, the speculative Uranium stock I was telling you about the past week or so.

Today someone by the name of Dines recommended it and the share price and volume went (literally) through the roof.

Almost 10 million shares were traded (the most actively traded stock on the Venture Exchange) and the stock closed the day up 56%. In my opinion that is madness!

Perhaps I feel a little unlucky that I just sold my shares at $0.74 at my stop loss just a few days ago but you can't dwell on little mishaps like this.

There is nobody except insiders who could have predicted a move like this.

However, just keep in mind that for every buyer of the stock today, there was a seller. Is the seller stupid? Why would he sell now when the stock is going so much higher? Well the seller is selling usually because he thinks the stock can't go any higher or he thinks that he can buy his shares back later for a cheaper price.

It seems to me like it was the herd of sheep only buying shares today. Shares that the pros were eagerly selling and cashing in their huge gains.

Now don't think that I am all of a sudden turning totally bearish on Bayswater. On the longterm, perhaps this has the potential to be Dines' next Mega Uranium. If you look at Mega's chart and its volume specifically, I bet that Dines recommended Mega at the end of February 2005. The price gapped up about 50% just like BVE this time on enormous volume (just like BVE).

But how did MGA perform over the next 7 months? Very poorly! It slowly dropped down to lows of $1.10 (a loss of 33%). The stock during these 7 months seemed to be accumulated at these levels. However, after those flat 7 months, the share price rocketed to the sky all the way up to $11.25 (a return of ~600%).

If this is to happen to BVE again, then it would be smart to wait for the fizzle to leave the stock in a couple weeks or months and begin to accumulate the stock when the share price flat lines for a while.

bisher war der Umgangston hier sehr angenehm, sollte man das nicht beibehalten?

Ich für meinen Teil werde nächste Woche Kohle zusammenkratzen und gemütlich auf Explorereinkaufstour gehen. So übertrieben, wie die Kurse bis Ende Mai hochgezogen sind, so übertrieben sind Sie jetzt gefallen. Wünsche jedem ein glückliches Händchen bei seinen Entscheidungen!

in BVE hab ich mich verliebt. Das ist nicht gut...
Übrigens seh ich auch keinen Sinn darin, vor CAN für 0,71 zu schmeissen. Andere halten die Hände auf, alles zwischen 0,71 und 0,74 wird sofort gekauft. Nur meine Meinung.

Also, ich lass mich nicht verunsichern! Bei 60 % Kursanstieg an einem Tag sind die 5 % Konsolidierung bzw. leichte Gewinnmitnahmen gestern in Kanada ein absoluter Spitzenwert! Sie zeigen nur das gigantische Potential, das dieser Wert hat!

Und wenn dann in Deutschland ein paar Leute unter pari verkaufen, dann beunruhigt mich das auch nicht. Viele sind schwer geschädigt durch die Kursverläufe der letzten "Raketen" der deutschen Pusher-Blätter, da ist es nur zu verständlich, dass manch einem der Spatz in der Hand lieber ist als die Taube auf dem Dach.

Ich glaube aber, dass wir an diesem Wert in der näheren und ferneren Zukunft noch viel Freude haben werden! Daher bleibe ich sicher noch eine Weile dabei!

This massive sulphide deposit (historic production 16Mt of
ore grading 0.6% Cu), adjacent to the Kilmacoo prospect,
occurs within a complexly deformed Lower Palaeozoic
volcanic-sedimentary sequence. Mine concentrates
contained payable gold and the ore typically contained
0.3g/t Au, with some pyritic rocks containing up to 0.75g/t
Au. Much of the gold appears to be contained in pyrite, but
gold also occurs in chalcopyrite, in galena and as free gold.
In recent years attempts have been made to recover gold
from the Avoca mine tailings by a non-toxic thiourea
leaching process. It has been estimated that the tailings
contain between 2 and 3Mt grading 0.03 to 1 oz/ton Au.

Vielleicht weil wir zuletzt schon 60 % gestiegen sind???

Vielleicht sollten hier einige mal begreifen, dass Börse keine Einbahnstraße ist! Auch wenn ein Wert spitzenmäßige Aussichten hat, heißt das nicht, dass er nach so einem Anstieg nicht konsolidieren könnte!

Wenn man das mal begriffen hat, fällt es viel leichter, solche Korrekturen ohne Herzinfarkt zu überstehen... und ohne gleich panikartig alle Stücke zu schmeißen!

About Avoca – Bayswater’s 73 km2 Avoca property in southeast Ireland includes a historically mined copper, zinc and lead sulphide stratiform volcanogenic deposit with gold and silver values. This massive sulphide deposit (historic production 16Mt of
ore grading 0.6% Cu), adjacent to the Kilmacoo prospect,
occurs within a complexly deformed Lower Palaeozoic
volcanic-sedimentary sequence. Mine concentrates
contained payable gold and the ore typically contained
0.3g/t Au, with some pyritic rocks containing up to 0.75g/t
Au. Much of the gold appears to be contained in pyrite, but
gold also occurs in chalcopyrite, in galena and as free gold.
In recent years attempts have been made to recover gold
from the Avoca mine tailings by a non-toxic thiourea
leaching process. It has been estimated that the tailings
contain between 2 and 3Mt grading 0.03 to 1 oz/ton Au.

Wer was von Indikatoren und Chart versteht, sollte sich die 15Min.- und Stundenparameter anschauen. Was wir sehen sind rein technische Bewegungen. Ich tippe auf 0,55, dann geht es wieder hoch. Wahrscheinlich bilden wir ein kleines sym. Dreieck aus oder einen bullischen Keil, wird sich aber noch paar Tage mit dem Auf und Ab hinziehen. Hat aber aus meiner Sicht nichts, aber auch garnichts mit dem Unternehmen zu tun. Aus meiner Sicht sehr guter Deal. Meine Meinung.

Overview
In early 2006 Strongbow announced a strategic agreement with Bayswater Ventures Corp. to form the Canada Uranium Joint Venture (CUJV) for the purpose of exploring for uranium deposits within Canada. Bayswater is the operator of the CUJV and, over the first five years of the agreement, shall contribute funding of up to $500,000 for the acquisition of prospective Canadian uranium properties identified by Strongbow. Strongbow and Bayswater retain a 50% working interest in each acquired property, subject to the right of Strongbow to select up to three joint venture properties for which Bayswater must fund the first $600,000 in exploration expenditures on each property. Under the terms of the arrangement, Strongbow must offer all Canadian uranium opportunities that it identifies to Bayswater for inclusion in the joint venture. Bayswater maintains the right to identify and acquire Canadian uranium prospects outside of the joint venture, with no obligation to offer such projects to Strongbow unless such prospect is located in any of the Yukon, Nunavut, or Northwest Territories.

A program of identifying prospective areas in Canada for uranium mineralization has commenced and property acquisition is underway. Acquisition of the CUJV's first property, the North Thelon Uranium Project, was announced on February 9, 2006. Strongbow's uranium exploration activities are conducted under the supervision of Robert Campbell, P.Geo.(BC), a qualified person under NI 43-101.

South Thelon


On April 26, 2006, Strongbow and Bayswater Ventures Corp. announced the acquisition of approximately 164,000 acres of mineral claims in two blocks in the southern portion of the Thelon Basin, Northwest Territories. The mineral claims were acquired based on the results of an evaluation of public uranium exploration datasets and regional geologic information.

The 70,521 acre, northeast trending VB claim block covers a cluster of reportedly radioactive sandstone boulders coincident with a north easterly trending basement structure. This basement feature extends off the property to the southwest and northeast onto ground controlled by Cogema Resources Inc. and Pathfinder Resources Ltd., respectively.

The 94,131 acre TC West claim block covers a large accumulation of radioactive sandstone boulders near the southern margin of the Thelon Basin. Regional magnetic data for the area indicate the claims are underlain by a number of linear magnetic features and favourable structural intersections.

The Thelon Basin represents an under explored, major Proterozoic sandstone basin that shares many geological characteristics with the Athabasca Basin located in Saskatchewan, approximately 300 km to the south. Numerous high grade unconformity style uranium deposits have been identified within the Athabasca Basin, and mining of these deposits currently generates approximately one third of the world's uranium production. Similarities between the Athabasca and Thelon Basins include the presence of favourable host and basement rocks, major structural features, Hudsonian aged intrusive rocks and known occurrences of uranium mineralization, including Cogema's Kiggavik, Andrew Lake and END deposits (the Kiggavik trend), host to approximately 131 million pounds of contained U3O8 and located approximately 250 km to the northeast of the VB and TC West Project areas.

The VB and TC West mineral claims are subject to a 1% net smelter returns royalty on metals and a 1% gross overriding royalty on diamonds. One half of the royalties (0.5%) can be purchased at anytime for $1 million. Plans for exploration of the VB and TC West project areas in 2006 include ongoing compilation of historical data, potentially followed by airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys and reconnaissance ground truthing and prospecting.

On February 1, 2006 Strongbow and Bayswater Ventures Corp. announced the acquisition of the North Thelon uranium project, consisting of ten prospecting permits covering 330,794 acres (144,868 hectares) over the northern part of the Thelon Basin in Nunavut. The Thelon Basin represents an under explored, major Proterozoic sandstone basin that shares many geological characteristics with the Athabasca Basin located in Saskatchewan, approximately 350 km to the south. Numerous high grade unconformity style uranium deposits have been identified within the Athabasca Basin, and mining of these deposits currently generates approximately one third of the world's uranium production. Similarities between the Athabasca and Thelon Basins, including the North Thelon project area, include the presence of favourable host and basement rocks, major structural features, Hudsonian aged intrusive rocks and, importantly, known occurrences of uranium mineralization. The most important uranium deposits within the Thelon Basin area are Cogema's Kiggavik, Andrew Lake and END deposits (the Kiggavik trend), host to approximately 131 million pounds of contained U3O8 and located approximately 105 km to the southeast of the North Thelon Project area.

The basement rocks to the sandstones of the northern part of the Thelon Basin include Archean granites and the supracrustal rocks of the Proterozoic Amer Group. The Amer Group metasediments are predominantly pelitic to semi-pelitic schists with local graphitic mudstones and iron rich units with the potential to provide a favourable reducing environment for the formation of unconformity type uranium deposits. Occurrences of stratabound and fracture controlled uranium mineralization (up to 2.7% U3O8) have been recorded throughout the exposed portion of the Amer Group metasediments to the north of the Thelon sandstones. In addition to this favourable basement stratigraphy, the North Thelon project straddles a portion of the Amer Fault Zone, a major northeast trending regional tectonic zone with the potential to provide a structural trap for uranium mineralization. The presence of Hudsonian age intrusions (1,849 Ma) within the Amer Group represents a direct correlation to Hudsonian granites that are spatially associated with uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin area and are thought, in part, to have played a role as a uranium source rock for the formation of some Athabasca unconformity type uranium deposits.

The North Thelon project is being explored under the terms of the Canada Uranium Joint Venture. Plans for exploration of the North Thelon project in 2006 include ongoing compilation of historical data, airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys and reconnaissance ground truthing and prospecting.

Das ist kein BV-Tipp, die haben sich nur reingehängt


Das macht doch keinen Unterschied von wem die Idee kam. Wesentlich ist doch, daß BV, wenn er eine Aktie empfiehlt, Frontrunning betreibt und nach dem gepushten Anstieg seine Shares schnell wieder auf den Markt schmeisst, mit den bekannten Folgen für den Kurs, den du bei sämtlichen BV-Aktien studieren kannst.

Fazit: Hier kann man nur mitzocken, wenn man sehr geschickt und sehr schnell ist, weil die Aktie urplötzlich abschmiert und du dann der Angeschmierte bist.

- the ownership/dilution implications of the merger

Dines simply stated in his latest Interim Warning Bulletin that he was adding Bayswater to his uranuium portfolio. Thus he hasn't yet extensively written about Bayswater. This information hasn't yet appeared in his main newsletter - The Dines Letter.

Going forward therefore, BVE should get tremendous attention from Dines. We can expect publicity in his newsletter, radio, TV and conference appearances. This first mention of Bayswater is more of a "heads up" for subscribers.

I expect Dines will give the company significantly more exposure once the merger with Pathfinder Resources is completed - no doubt the reason he's recommending Bayswater.

In only the past few months, Bayswater Ventures moved from obscurity into a position that I believe places them in position to significantly benefit from the uranium Bull Market. The company seemed dormant until late November. However, since that time, they announced either the acquisition, letter agreement, or application for two enormous land positions in Labrador and Niger, West Africa. In total they have or will acquire 3,381 claims covering 845 square kilometers of mineral rights in the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador. This will make them the largest land-holder in the region. They will also possess 7,824 square kilometers in four concessions in Niger. Niger is noted for being the world’s third largest uranium producer behind Canada and Australia.

The prospects that Bayswater acquired in Labrador were all strategically positioned. They were picked because they covered favorable geological extensions of known uranium deposits or prospects. Further, a number of lake sediment uranium anomalies are present on a large part of their land-holdings. Additionally, some of their well-positioned claim blocks are adjacent to important properties held by the Fronteer Development Group/ Altius joint-venture as well as adjoining Crosshair Exploration’s primary targets.

Bayswater initially signed a letter of intent to acquire a 100% interest in four concessions in Niger. Two were for uranium and the other two were for gold. The total extent of their lands under the first agreement covered 2,700 square kilometers of favorable geological settings, within a total of 3,989 square kilometers. Tikikitene is located 100 km. along strike and in a similar geologic setting as the two world-class uranium deposits operated by Cogema-Onarem. These produced a combined 3,000+ tonnes of uranium in 2003, and have over 100,000 tonnes of total uranium production to date.

The second uranium concession (Emi Lulu) is about 400 kilometers north-northeast of Cogama’s deposits. The concession is underlain by basin-margin sediments. These are similar to the stratigraphy of the uranium mines in that region. There are a series of fault structures that are favorable for uranium deposition, crosscutting their project areas. Limited drilling and airborne surveys have been performed on a portion of the concession.

More recently, Bayswater reported a letter agreement to acquire a 100% interest in two additional uranium concessions in Niger. As with the originals, these prospects were chosen due to their favorable geological settings.

While little work has been performed on the majority of their Labrador or Niger properties, the company believes that they hold great promise. In Niger, they are one of the few juniors actively acquiring property in this overlooked, major uranium producing nation. PATHFINDER STARTS MAJOR AIRBORNE SURVEY AT THELON URANIUM PROJECT

Pathfinder Resources Ltd. and Diamonds North Resources Ltd. have begun a major airborne geophysical survey over the Thelon uranium project in the Northwest Territories. The survey consists of an 8,000-line-kilometre, deep-penetrating, electromagnetic (EM) survey using Fugro Airborne Surveys' proprietary Megatem II system. The objective of the survey is to identify conductors associated with uranium mineralization for follow-up exploration and drilling.

Fugro's Megatem II system is a deep-penetrating, high-resolution electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical system capable of identifying conductors in basement rocks overlain by thick sandstone basin infill. As basement conductors are often related to fault structures, the survey will focus on areas of the property where major structures have been recognized by government and Pathfinder geologists.

Fault structures and basement conductors are key elements associated with large, unconformity-related uranium deposits such as Cameco Corp.'s McArthur River and Cigar Lake mines in the Athabasca basin, the world's largest, high-grade uranium deposits.

The Megatem II survey will cover the majority of the Thelon uranium project, a large area comprising over one million acres. Developed in 2001, Megatem II is far superior to survey systems used during the last major uranium exploration boom in the 1970s, as it can detect conductors considerably deeper in the earth and at much higher resolution. Conductors defined by the survey program will provide targets for follow-up ground exploration and drilling.

Given the companies are exploring the largest property in the Thelon basin (recognized as a highly prospective region for hosting high-grade, unconformity-related uranium deposits), identification of conductors from the survey would add considerable value to the project. Also in the South Thelon basin, Cameco and Uravan Minerals Inc. recently announced a drill program on their adjacent Boomerang uranium project.

The airborne survey should take two weeks to complete with results available in late August. Pathfinder can earn an 80-per-cent interest in the uranium rights on approximately 1.2 million acres of Diamond North's Thelon exploration claims and permits. Pathfinder also holds a 100-per-cent interest in the CL property comprising 98,000 acres on the northwest side of the Thelon uranium project. Pathfinder plans to conduct a similar geophysical survey over the CL property following completion of the current program.

The site visit to Matoush is going to be very good to spread the good word on Strateco and getting Northern Miner publicity is never a bad thing.

I am very interested that Guy is not fazed with the Nova break down and he thinks he has a good piece of property there.

Today the share price once again let off a penny and closed at $0.80. I think the accumulation is still going on and I noticed that Canaccord picked up many of the shares today.

If you haven't picked up shares yet, buy a small test position with a 25% stop loss.

Of course I can't guarantee it will go up but I think that when professional accumulation picks up most of the liquid float, great news will blast the price up because the pros will intentionally keep supply down to push the price higher than what it maybe should go. Then in a couple very high volume days most of the shares that it took them pain staking weeks to pick up will be in the hands of eager sheep.

That has been my prediction and will continue to stand. However, like I said, I don't know if it will happen for sure so limit your downside to something very small.

However, if a break out does occur then continue to pyramid (average up) your position until we get abnormal volume at which point we will slowly exit and cash in profits if all goes well.

Energy-hungry China to seek uranium in Niger

Niger has awarded licences to a group of companies from China to explore for uranium as the Asian economic powerhouse steps up its hunt for strategic sources of energy and raw materials in Africa.

China, one of the world's fastest growing economies, is looking to meet booming energy demand by rapidly expanding its nuclear energy programme. The exploration licences announced were the first for Chinese firms in Niger's uranium sector.


The group led by the China National Uranium Corporation (CNUC) would hunt for uranium at two sites, Madaouela and Teguidda, in the Agadez region, about 1 000 km northeast of the capital Niamey, a Niger government statement said on Monday.

"Approval of these agreements gives the CNUC the contractual framework to initiate mining activities in Niger," said the statement, quoted by state media.

Beijing has launched a widening diplomatic and trade offensive in recent years to secure vital oil and raw materials supplies from mineral-rich Africa and Latin America.

Niger, an impoverished landlocked former French colony on the southern side of the Sahara, has significant reserves of uranium, from which nuclear fuel is made.

The Niger government said prospects for the development of the uranium sector, its biggest export earner, were being boosted by a pick up in world demand for the mineral and China's nuclear energy expansion plans.

Uranium production in Niger peaked at 4 366 tons in 1981 and now stands at around 3 000 tons a year.

In March, Niger awarded three uranium prospecting concessions to Canada-based mining firms, Northwestern Mineral Ventures Inc and North Atlantic Resources.

Of Niger's current uranium output, around 2 000 tons is produced by the Compagnie Miniere d'Akouta (COMINAK), owned by the government with French, Japanese and Spanish interests, and the remainder by the French-controlled Societe des Mines et de l'Air (SOMAIR).

SOMAIR has announced plans to open a second mining operation.

The China National Petroleum Corporation is also exploring for oil in Niger's Agadez region.

Nee, das ist keine gute Idee! Mal ganz ehrlich, Bayswater mag ganz gut sein, aber im Grunde doch hochspekulativ. Mit Stop-Loss wie bei großen Werten (DAX,DOW) kann man hier aber auch nicht arbeiten, da man sonst rappzapp geleimt wird. Also bleibt mir wohl nichts anderes übrig, als täglich mal kurz zu schauen...solange es hoch geht, mache ich das ja gerne.

Dines strukturiert wie folgt:
5 Segmente mit aufsteigenden Chancen/Risiko Verhältnis.
Jedes Segment enthält maximal 10 Werte.
Zur Zeit sind 38 Werte im Gesamtdepot enthalten

Bayswater ist im Segment 5 - höchstes Risiko/Chancen Verhältnis positioniert.
Dieses ist auch komplett voll mit 10 Werten.

Was das "rauswerfen" aus dem Depot angeht, ist Dines eher konservativ.
Entweder er versieht die Werte mit einem Stop.
Oder ein Wert enttäuscht über einen längeren Zeitraum und fliegt deshalb heraus.
Oder er wird gegen einen im Segment passenden Wert mit wesentlich besseren Chancen getauscht. Das allerdings erst nach eher sehr langer Verweilzeit im Depot.

Grundsätzlich hält Dines seine Werte eher sehr lange.
Die älteste Empfehlung stammt z.B. von 1992!

Wenn Dines einen Wert in sein Depot packt, dann kommt das schon einem "Ritterschlag" gleich - zumindest aus Sicht seiner Leser.
Übrigens kann sich seine Treffsicherheit seit mehreren Jahrzehnten(!)

Wenn Dines eines tut - im Gegensatz zu den meisten "Investoren" in WO - dann ist das gründliche Recherche!

Übrigens kann sich seine Treffsicherheit seit mehreren Jahrzehnten(!)
sehen lassen. Er hat zu Beginn des Aktienbooms Anfang der 80er zum Einstieg geblasen. Er hat vor diversen Crashs vorher in seinem Letter gewarnt. Er hat rechtzeitig massiv in Internetwerte investiert und genauso rechtzeitig zum Ausstieg geblasen.
Sein Timing über mehrere Jahrzehnte hinweg ist sehr beeindruckend.

The "Hermitage Uranium Belt" a 100 km by 10 km structural arch with a number of uranium prospects hosted by volcanic and sedimentary rocks which Company geologists believe have potential for large, open pit deposits. In the 1980’s,exploration by the uranium divisions of Shell Canada Ltd. (TSX: SCH) and Central Electricity Generating Board – now owned by Cameco Corporation (TSX: CCO) – located several bedrock uranium occurrences and radioactive boulder trains grading up to 1.5% U3O8 along the belt. Both companies left the area by the mid 1980s due to low uranium prices. Later in the 1980’s, Newfoundland government geologists discovered additional uranium mineralization, which was largely overlooked until recently.

Mal was von der technischen Seite, auch wenn ich damit gleichzeitig aufzeige, dass man bei Werten wie BVE eigentlich nix drauf geben kann...

American bulls generiert für heute auf Tagesbasis ein "buy-if". Noch gestern allerdings gab es ein "sell confirmed" (ich frag mich, wie die Leute sich heute fühlen, die danach gehandelt haben), nachdem es tagelang "sell-if" war.

Auf Wochenbasis war und bleibt die Empfehlung "hold".

Ich freu mich jedenfalls, dass ich mich an der Wochenbasis orientiert habe. Und bin mehr denn je überzeugt von der relativen Stärke des Wertes. M.E. stammt sie daher, dass die Stücke zum überwiegenden Teil in Anlegerhänden (Dimes-Anhänger) sind und nicht bei den Kurzfrist-Zockern.

Ich finde interessant, dass der Umsatz in Kanada auch wieder angezogen hat. Kaufen da Leute schon im Vorgriff darauf, dass Dines vielleicht Freitag in seinem Newsletter Näheres sagt zu Bayswater?? Kommt der Newsletter überhaupt diesen Freitag? Hat eine(r) von Euch Kontakte, an den Newsletter heranzukommen??

Zur Technik:
Americanbulls sagt "buy confirmed" auf Tagesbasis und "hold" auf Wochenbasis!
StockTA sagt bullish, bullish, bullish, bullish (über alle Laufzeiten) , außerdem gibt es nur noch einen Widerstand bei 1,38 CAD!

Tip: Verschenkt nicht eure Aktien! "Dines-Clan" sind zwischen 1,02 bis 1,25CAD$ massiv eingestiegen und die geben sich doch nicht mit 30% zufrieden.

Es ist erstaunlich, daß in Deutschland der Umsatz so gering ist. Normalerweise sind bei den BV-Pushs die Stückzahlen in Kanada gegenüber den deutschen immer vernachlässigbar. Ein gutes Zeichen, scheinen nicht viele Zocker hier zu sein!

Die Zocker sind wieder raus,als Bayswater nach der BV-Blackedition zunächst auf 0.75 stieg und danach auf 0.50€ fiel und alle dachten, es geht noch weiter abwärts !!!

Nur durch die Dines-Empfehlung ging es dann wieder so weit nach oben !!!

Das haben aber nur die Anleger mitbekommen,die noch oder wieder investiert waren !!!

Für den weiteren Kursverlauf ist das überaus positiv !!!
