A Speculative Gold Explorer You Should Watch

I just got back from visiting a new gold explorer in Idaho, and I think it may be one of the great bargains in North American gold exploration.

Our story starts 5.3 million years ago. That's when a section of the North American tectonic plate that is now Eastern Idaho moved over a stationary hotspot in the Earth's crust. A volcano spewed to the surface, and along with tons of rock, it brought a treasure trove of minerals from deep inside the Earth — including gold.

A Golden Treasure Hidden by Time

As millions of years passed, that section of the Earth's crust grinded westward, the volcanic hotspot that deposited minerals in Eastern Idaho shifted, and it is now bubbling beneath the hot geysers of Yellowstone. But the gold is still there in Idaho — its hiding place hidden and fractured as the Earth's surface shifted and split.

Hidden ... until a team of smart geologists came along and found it near the town of Kilgore, Idaho.

This gold wasn't easy to find. A company called Echo Bay Mines went broke while working on it in the 1990s. Echo Bay had many problems — flying its executives around in a gold-plated 737 jetliner may have distracted it from the tasks at hand — but it managed to map out a lower-grade (1.1 grams per metric tonne or 0.04 ounces per tonne) open pit deposit at Kilgore containing up to 700,000 ounces before calling it quits.

Here's where the plot thickens — two geologists working for Echo Bay figured they knew a little better than the gold-plated bean counters ... and they vowed to return to find the potentially large deposits that eluded their employer.

See, when Echo Bay drilled for gold on the property, it often found rich samples surrounded by a halo of lower-grade rock. Between 1983 and 1996, a total of 190 exploratory holes were drilled by Echo Bay and others on the site, but many of those holes missed the elusive gold zones. It turned out that the vertical veins the company was looking for were actually two thick horizontal high-grade zones.

      Two High-Grade Zones

The two geologists did not know exactly what they had when they helped form a company to re-open the project last year. But they managed to get the attention of some smart people with access to plenty of capital.

The newly formed company, Otis Gold Corp., (symbol OOO on the TSX-Venture exchange in Canada) embarked on a drilling program, putting in nine more holes that, placed correctly, found the elusive two high-grade zones at the company's Kilgore Project.

Otis Gold is awaiting confirmation that it has found two, high-grade gold deposits.

They think the upper zone is 1,300 feet long and between 100 and 150 feet thick. The lower zone is probably about 1,000 feet long with one historic drill hole running 90 feet of rock and one ounce of gold per tonne in it. The company is waiting for assays on new holes to come back to confirm what it suspects — that there is a big, high-grade deposit down there.

Otis Gold doesn't own the project outright. Through a joint venture agreement with Bayswater Uranium, Otis is earning up to a 75 percent interest in the Kilgore Property in exchange for $200,000 in cash, $3 million in exploration expenditures, issuing 2.5 million shares over five years and completing a pre-feasibility study. It should have most of the property expenditure requirement completed by the end of next year.

The company has a lot of work ahead of it. After spending $1.1 million this year, it's going to spend a couple million dollars next year and have a minimum of two drills running at the Kilgore project. It has cash in the bank now ($2.1 million as of July 31st) but will have to raise money next year.

      Lots of Rich Friends

And yet that shouldn't be a problem. This is an early stage explorer ... but there's plenty of big, smart money lining up behind it, and with those kinds of rich friends, the company should be able to do a private placement.

I spoke to one banker who said: "Let's say Otis wants to raise $3 million next year. I'd easily be able to raise $1 million of that myself."

I expect the company will likely forcibly exercise 4.7 million existing warrants. A warrant is like an option — it gives the holder the right to buy a security at a fixed price, or "strike" price.

Since the stock is trading high above the warrant strike price, this is a bonanza for the warrant holder, but since they also have to pay the company the strike price of the warrant, this should net the company C$1.6 million (US$1.49 million).

In any case, Otis Gold finds itself in the enviable position of being able to raise cash AND be sitting on a hot project. The company has a lot of work to do, but has set a goal to prove a high-grade gold resource of between 1 million and 2 million ounces.

Would a bigger company want to buy such a gold deposit? Hell, yeah! And a deposit like that, set in a nice, geopolitically stable and mining-friendly state like Idaho? Double-yeah!

Otis is focusing on high-grade intercepts to develop an underground mining scenario — it's simpler to permit. So it will probably end up with a high-grade deposit sitting in the middle of a low-grade gold deposit. The low-grade deposit is open in several directions, leaving room for further expansion.

And as one of Otis Gold's geologists pointed out, the chance of finding a deposit of more than 1 million ounces has been shown to be only 8-out-of-100. That gives this new discovery some serious payoff potential if it's as good as they think it is.

And it could be better! I spent a beautiful afternoon in Idaho's big-sky country, tromping around the woods, looking at Otis Gold's Kilgore operation. The property sprawls more than 5 square miles.

There is definitely the potential for satellite deposits. Heck, the company has tested a pile of waste rock left over from workings in the 1930s and found it has an average ore grade of 1 ounce of gold per tonne. In a waste pile! They're so busy they haven't even bothered to track the source down.

Otis also has four other projects in Idaho and one in Nevada. But Kilgore is its crown jewel.

      Some Things to Consider

Now I've told you a lot of positives. Here are some other things to consider ...

The assays have yet to come back. We won't know the results until they do. Until then, much of what the Otis Gold geologists are laying out is speculation.

Speaking of that, a gold explorer that only recently started on a project pretty much defines a speculative stock. This is NOT for keep-safe money. NEVER risk more than you can comfortably afford to lose.

And while Otis Gold seems to have no problems raising money now, if the financial industry implodes (again!), it could become very hard for companies like Otis to raise money, no matter how good their projects seem to be.

Otis Gold is so new, it's not even listed on the pink sheets in the United States. Until it has a pink-sheet listing, the only way you can buy it is on the TSX-Venture exchange in Canada. Recently, Otis Gold had a market cap of C$8.6 million (US$7.99 million) with only 17.1 million shares outstanding.

I'm saving my recommendation on this stock — when to get in, at what price, and what targets to set — for my Red-Hot Global Small-Caps subscribers.

You can do as you like — do your own due diligence. If you buy it, I strongly recommend you consider this a long-term speculative buy; one you should tuck away and see what happens over time. It could be very volatile, with big swings up and down ... or it could become frustratingly lethargic for months, waiting on good news. But I believe the long-term trend in this stock will be higher.

Canada, Ho! I'll Come Back With More Picks!

Otis Gold is a shining example of the kind of underappreciated precious metals explorers you can find listed on Canadian stock exchanges.

I'll be scrutinizing a lot more when I go speak at the Toronto Resource Investment Conference this weekend. If you attend, please track me down in the exhibitor's hall and say "hi." I'd enjoy talking to you.

And if you want the cream of the crop of my picks from Toronto, consider signing up for Red-Hot Global Small-Caps right away. Because, while gold should zig and zag, I've made a pretty good case for gold surging to $1,300 an ounce — and small- and micro-cap Canadian gold producers should ride that wave to much higher prices.

      Yours for trading profits,

      Sean

P.S. Join Me in Toronto ...

I'll be attending and addressing the Toronto Resource Investment Conference in Toronto, Canada on September 26 & 27.

      Hi,

      a) high-grade drill-results

Otis Discovers Significant CSAMT Anomalies Underlying Kilgores Dog Bone Ridge Gold Target Area

      Feb 09, 2010 (TheNewswire.ca via COMTEX News Network) --

      (via Thenewswire.ca)

      February 9, 2010 OOO (TSX)

Vancouver, B.C. - Otis Gold Corp. ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the results of a recent Controlled-Source Audio-Frequency Magnetotellurics ("CSAMT") geophysical survey that indicates the presence of numerous sizeable and geologically significant resistivity anomalies underlying the Dog Bone Ridge gold target area located at the Kilgore Gold Project, Clark County, Idaho. The target area, which has only been minimally tested by historic drilling, is located approximately 1,200 meters southwest of the known Kilgore gold deposit and comprises most of the core of the larger epithermal system containing the deposit (see Otis June 10, 2008 and March 2, 2009 News Releases). Of the five CSAMT anomalies detected by the survey, only three have been initially tested by historic drilling, with all drill holes in these three anomalies containing significant intercepts of gold mineralization (detailed below).

Based on the lack of drilling and the fact that the anomalies are sizeable (upwards of 1,200 meters in length), a 2,000-meter, 6-hole drill program is planned to test the highest priority anomalies and offset some of the known historic drill-hole intercepts during the 2010 field season. Permitting for this drilling with the U.S. Forest Service, Targhee National Forest, is in process. This drilling is part of a larger 8,000-meter drill program planned for the Kilgore Gold Project in 2010.

The Dog Bone Ridge gold target comprises an extensive area of 242 hectares mostly overlain by an apron of Pliocene-age hot-spring sinter and explosion breccia that caps lithic tuff, the same rock unit that hosts the Company's nearby Kilgore gold deposit. Of the three CSAMT anomalies associated with historic and significant drill-hole intercepts, the most northerly (Target C1) coincides with Kilgore Gold Company drill holes KG04-02 containing 51.8 m @ 1.25 grams/tonne ("g/t") gold ("Au") (see Kilgore Gold Company September 7, 2004 News Release) and KG06-01 with 12.6 m @ 1.57 g/t Au (Otis internal data archives). Within the hole KG04-02 intercept a higher-grade intercept of 3.1 m @ 15.9 g/t Au was reported that coincides directly with the slightly higher resistive core of the anomaly, possibly reflecting a silicified structure. The second, or central, CSAMT anomaly (Target D3) associated with historic drill-hole intercepts coincides with Echo Bay core hole 96EKC-178 that contains 99.4 m @ 0.428 g/t Au and further contains within this intercept higher grade intercepts of 4.6 m @ 2.57 g/t Au, 10.7 m @ 1.51 g/t Au, and 3.1 m @ 2.57 g/t Au (Otis internal data archives). Gold mineralization in these holes is hosted within silicified lithic tuff.

The survey was conducted using a 50-meter electric-field receiver dipole in spreads consisting of four electric-field dipoles with a magnetic-field antenna located in the center of the spread. The data was acquired in the broadside mode of operation with the electric-field dipoles oriented along the survey line and parallel to the transmitter dipole. The magnetic antenna was oriented perpendicular to the survey line. One CSAMT transmitter of a grounded dipole configuration was used for the survey. The survey was conducted to search for low to moderate resistivity bodies containing higher resistivity cores near or associated with structures that may have acted as conduits for gold mineralization.

The CSAMT survey was conducted by Zonge Geosciences Inc., Sparks, Nevada, between October 19th and October 27th 2009 and consisted of data acquisition from six N45E-oriented survey lines for a total of 8.5 line-kilometers of coverage. Detailed geophysical interpretation of the CSAMT survey data was conducted by James L. Wright of J. L. Wright Geophysics, Spring Creek, Nevada, during the latter half of December 2009 and was presented in a report to Otis dated December 29, 2009.

A detailed location map of the CSAMT survey grid lines and resultant anomalies, along with the historic drill-hole intercepts associated with these targets, can be found on the Otis website at http://www.otisgold.com/projects/kilgore/. Although a few additional and widely scattered historic holes were drilled in the Dog Bone Ridge target area, they either were not drilled deep enough to reach the newly discovered CSAMT anomalies or they were angled away from and/or off the flanks of them, missing them completely.

These results in combination with other significant bulk-tonnage intercepts recorded for a number of the Company's other holes drilled in the Kilgore deposit Mine Ridge core target area (Otis October 7 and December 16, 2009 News Releases) indicate mineralized thicknesses and average grades that are noticeably greater than those constituting the majority of the intervals comprising the historic Kilgore NI 43-101 compliant resource (Otis March 2, 2009 News Release). As a result, Otis expects that there is a strong possibility to increase the overall size, grade, and economic viability of the Kilgore deposit, thus the Company is in the process of selecting an engineering firm to conduct a prefeasibility study on the bulk-tonnage deposit.

Otis Gold Corp.: Kilgore Gold Project Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, May 04, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Otis Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: OOO) ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update of recent developments concerning the Company's Kilgore Gold Project ("Kilgore"), Clark County, Idaho.

      Upcoming Drilling Program

In 2010, Otis plans on drilling up to 8,000 metres at Kilgore. Of this total, 6,000 metres is planned at the Kilgore Mine Ridge deposit and resource area and 2,000 metres is planned at Dog Bone Ridge. The latter constitutes a highly prospective drill target that has been the subject of both historic drilling and a successful 8.5-line km CSAMT Survey completed by Otis in November 2009. It is located approximately 1,400 metres southwest of the deposit.

Otis has signed an agreement with Timberline Drilling Inc., of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to supply two core rigs to drill at Mine Ridge. Drilling will be on a 24-hour basis, with approximately 6,000 metres spread between a minimum of 30 holes located throughout four quadrants encircling the deposit's central Mine Ridge area. Drilling is designed, in part, to convert inferred resource material into the indicated category and to drill in-fill and step-out holes to both upgrade the current resource and to test for further resource expansion, as well as closure, where the deposit remains open. Part of the drilling will also focus on in-filling and off-setting higher-grade historic intercepts near and along the Cabin Fault and its contact with an adjacent Tertiary rhyolite dome, the possible source of mineralization for the Kilgore gold system. The program will also concentrate on off-setting and extending to the south higher-grade intercepts found by Otis during its 2008 and 2009 drilling of the Mine Ridge deposit core target area. A drilling contract for work at Dog Bone Ridge has not yet been finalized.

Cost of the drill program at Kilgore is estimated to be US$2.5 million. Results from the drilling will be released as they become available.

      Mine Ridge Pre-Feasibility Study

Otis has initiated activities required to complete an independent Pre-Feasibility Study on the Mine Ridge deposit. Highlights of the study will include resource delineation, deposit engineering, infrastructure review, and cost assessment work, as well as the results of current detailed metallurgical testing and the upcoming approximately 6,000-metre resource drilling program for 2010. Completion of the study is scheduled for March 2011. Otis is currently reviewing proposals from several independent consulting firms and expects to confirm the appointment of a primary contractor by June 2010.

Craig Lindsay, President and CEO of Otis commented, "Initiation of the Pre-Feasibility Study at Kilgore marks a major milestone as we move towards a commercial production decision."

      Metallurgical Testing at Mine Ridge

As a first step toward the completion of the Independent Pre-Feasibility Study, four bulk samples representing typical Kilgore deposit ore types and bulk-tonnage grades were delivered to McClelland Laboratories, Inc., Sparks, Nevada on April 15, 2010 for bench-scale metallurgical testing. The samples range between approximately 190 and 250 pounds of split HQ-3 size core material, with estimated overall average grades in the 0.76 grams per tonne Au (g/t Au) to 1.80 g/t Au range. Scope of the contracted work includes sample preparation and head grade analyses, bottle roll tests, screen size fraction analysis, and column leach tests for each of the four samples. Results and a report of all findings are estimated to be available in 5 months.

Historically, deposit metallurgy is considered excellent based on favorable results of bottle roll and column leach tests performed in 1995 and 1996 by Hazen Research, Inc., Golden, Colorado on Echo Bay Mines drill core and RC cuttings. All bottle roll tests resulted in greater than 90% gold extractability and showed that the mineralization is not refractory. Column leach tests indicate 94.3% recovery on oxidized material (-1/2" crush size) and 86.9% on mixed/partially oxidized material (-1" crush size), material types which together comprise the bulk of the deposit. As noted in a 2002 Rayner and Associates and Van Brunt NI 43-101 compliant report on the property, the extraction of 86.9% gold on mixed material after 75 days of leach time is excellent and suggests that even coarser crush sizes may also lend themselves to favorable extractability, thus enhancing deposit economics.

Mine Ridge NI 43-101 Compliant Resource

Between 1983 and 1996, a total of 122,257 feet of drilling in 190 holes was conducted on the Kilgore Project by Bear Creek, Placer Dome U.S., Pegasus Gold, and Echo Bay Mines with the goal of defining a +1 million once bulk-tonnage, open-pittable gold deposit. A number of 43-101 non-compliant resource estimates were computed on the bulk-tonnage mineralization by Placer Dome U.S. and Echo Bay Mines. These estimates indicate a global resource of between 561,000 and 706,000 ounces of gold contained in the deposit depending on the cutoff grade used and the Company conducting the estimate (see Otis News Release dated June 10, 2008). These estimates, which are based on the above noted drilling, are mentioned for historic and reference purposes only, the issuer is not treating them as current mineral resources, and they are not to be relied upon. Subsequent to these estimates, in 2002 Rayner and Associates and Van Brunt conducted a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate on the Kilgore bulk-tonnage deposit at a cutoff grade of 0.010 ounces per tonne gold (opt Au). Their estimate comprises 218,000 ounces of drill-indicated gold (7.043 MM tons @ 0.031 opt Au) and 269,000 ounces of inferred gold (9.661 MM tons @ 0.028 opt Au).

In 1996, Echo Bay Mines completed an internal Initial Engineering Assessment on Kilgore, planning to put the deposit into production as an open pit. Some 10.1 MM tons of material at a grade of 1.28 g/t was identified as being potentially minable. Capex was estimated at $31.6 (US) million, cash costs at $222 (US)/oz, and the mine life at 6.6 years (based on a production rate of 4,000 tons per day, or about 45,000 ounces of gold per year). They did not proceed due to the low gold price, which at the time was less than $300 (US)/oz, and also because of their deteriorating financial position.

Recent Otis drill results (see Otis News Release dated March 23, 2010), in combination with other significant high-grade and bulk-tonnage intercepts recorded for a number of the Company's other holes drilled in the Kilgore deposit Mine Ridge core target area during 2008 and 2009, indicate mineralized thicknesses and average grades that are noticeably greater than those constituting the majority of the historic Kilgore NI 43-101 compliant resource. As a result, Otis expects that there is a strong possibility to increase the overall size, grade, and economic viability of the deposit. A new NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate at Mine Ridge will be completed following completion of this year's drilling.

Otis Commences 6,000 Metre Drill Program at Kilgore
      June 10, 2010 OOO (TSX)

Vancouver, B.C. – Otis Gold Corp. (“Otis” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce start- up of a 6,000-metre, 30-core hole drilling program at its flagship Kilgore Gold Project, Clark County, Idaho. Drilling will be on-going throughout the entire 2010 field season, with program completion slated for early December.

Drilling will be conducted on a 24-hour basis and will be spread between a minimum of 30 holes located throughout four quadrants encircling the deposit’s central Mine Ridge deposit area. The program is designed, in part, to convert inferred resource material into the drill indicated category and to drill in-fill and step-out holes to both upgrade the current resource and to test for further resource expansion, as well as closure, where the deposit remains open. Part of the drilling will also focus on in-filling and off-setting higher-grade historic intercepts near and along the Cabin Fault and its contact with an adjacent Tertiary rhyolite dome, the possible source of mineralization for the Kilgore gold system. The program will also concentrate on off-setting and extending to the south higher-grade intercepts found by Otis during its 2008 and 2009 drilling of the Kilgore deposit Mine Ridge core target area.

Approval of the Company’s drill plan was granted by the U.S. Forest Service – Caribou-Targhee National Forest on May 6, 2010, only two weeks after the date of its submission. Timberline Drilling Inc., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, will be conducting the HQ-size core drilling employing two Sandvik DE140 core drills, with the first drill scheduled to arrive on site June 14 and the second to arrive approximately one week thereafter. The program is budgeted at US$2.0 million. Results from the drilling will be released as they become available, and a new Mine Ridge resource estimate will be prepared following completion of the drill program.

Drilling at the adjacent Dog Bone Ridge target area is currently in the assessment and permitting stage. Details of this drill program will be released as they become available.

Otis is currently working to earn a 75% interest in the property by fulfilling the terms of an agreement dated June 4, 2008 between Otis and its joint venture partner Bayswater Uranium Corporation (see Otis News Release dated June 10, 2008 for further information).

Otis Drills 55.5 Metres of 1.36 g/t Au and 30.4 Metres of 2.53 g/t Au at Kilgore

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 08, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Otis Gold Corp. ("Otis" or the "Company") (TSX: OOO)(PINK SHEETS: OGLDF) is pleased to announce the receipt of significant drill results comprising potentially bulk-mineable, open-pittable intercepts from the first five logged and processed holes of its 2010, 32-core hole, 6,000-metre, Kilgore Gold Project ("Kilgore") drill program, Clark County, Idaho. Highlights of these first five drill holes, listed in Table 1 below, include intercepts of 55.5 metres (m) of 1.36 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) in hole 10 OKC-208 and 30.4 m of 2.53 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-210. All five holes were drilled as infills in areas where historic wide-spaced drilling resulted in gaps that require further closer spaced drilling to confirm deposit continuity.

These new intervals, in combination with other significant bulk-tonnage intercepts determined for a number of the Company's core holes drilled during 2008 and 2009 in the nearby higher-grade Mine Ridge core area of the deposit (Otis October 7 and December 16, 2009 and March 23, 2010 News Releases), all support a high degree of confidence concerning continuity of mineralization throughout the deposit and further indicate mineralized thicknesses and average grades that are noticeably greater than those constituting the majority of the intervals comprising the historic Kilgore NI 43-101 compliant resource (Otis March 2, 2009 News Release). Based on these new results, Otis continues to expect that there is a strong possibility to increase the overall size, grade, and economic viability of the Kilgore deposit. Three dimensional computer modeling of the deposit is being initiated and is expected to be completed Winter 2011 after all the 2010 drill results have been obtained and incorporated into the database.

As a continuation of Otis' highly successful 2008 and 2009 drilling programs of the deposit's higher-grade, 200-metre wide, Mine Ridge core area, this year's aggressive drill program is being conducted as first-round in-fill and extension of the much larger 800-metre-long and 400-metre-wide Kilgore deposit area surrounding Mine Ridge. Much of this area was historically drilled on extremely wide, 60- to 120-metre-spaced centers, with in-fill and extension drilling necessary to more fully and clearly evaluate the deposit. Historic drilling was conducted by Bear Creek, Pegasus Gold, Placer Dome U.S., and Echo Bay Mines from 1983-1996, while exploring the property for a bulk-tonnage gold deposit (Otis June 10, 2008 News Release). Core holes 10 OKC-208 containing 55.5 metres @ 1.36 g/t Au and 10 OKC-210 containing 30.4 metres @ 2.53 g/t Au (Table 1) indicate that additional significant bulk-tonnage gold mineralization exists and extends at least 120 metres west and east, respectively, of the deposit's Mine Ridge core area.

Locations of these first five holes, which total 954 metres of drilling, and their corresponding assay intercepts, are shown in a drill-hole location map available on the Otis Gold Corp. website at www.otisgold.com/projects/kilgore/.

Otis Initiates Drilling at Kilgore Dog Bone Ridge Target

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 15, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Otis Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: OOO)(PINK SHEETS: OGLDF) ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has initiated a five-hole, 2,000-metre, core drilling program at its Dog Bone Ridge gold target, located 1,400 metres west of the Company's Kilgore "Mine Ridge" gold deposit, Clark County, Idaho. Otis is drilling Dog Bone Ridge with the intent of identifying a new, potentially bulk-mineable deposit that lies near and is possibly related to the Company's flagship Kilgore gold deposit (Otis October 7 and December 16, 2009, and March 23 and September 8, 2010 News Releases). The drilling is designed to test four, sizeable Controlled Source Audio-Magneto Telluric (CSAMT) geophysical anomalies delineated in the target area by Otis during the Fall of 2009, two of which correspond with significant historic bulk-tonnage and/or high-grade gold intercepts, which have never been offset and are outlined below. Gold mineralization in these historic holes is intimately associated with diking, just as it is at "Mine Ridge".

Of the five CSAMT anomalies that underlie the Dog Bone Ridge target area, only two contain limited historic drilling. Of these two anomalies, the most northerly, Target 1, contains core hole, KG-04-02, drilled by Kilgore Gold in 2004. This hole intercepted 51.8 m @ 1.25 g/t Au and will be offset in several directions to determine geometry and continuity of the gold mineralization. One historic Echo Bay drill hole (96-EKC-178), that penetrated a weak portion of the high resistivity CSAMT anomaly at Target 3, intercepted 99.4 m @ 0.43 g/t Au. This hole will be offset 300 m to the east in the main portion of the anomaly. The two remaining high priority CSAMT anomalies, to be tested by Otis, contain no historic drilling. Locations of Otis' five planned holes are shown on a drill-hole location map available on the Otis Gold Corp. website at www.otisgold.com/projects/kilgore/.

The Dog Bone Ridge HQ3-size core drilling is being performed by Timberline Drilling, Inc., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, employing a Sandvik DE-140 core drill outfitted with a triple-tube core recovery system and face-discharge bits. Drilling is being conducted on a full-time, around-the-clock basis, with all results anticipated to be reported by the end of the year.

Otis Drills 45.7 Metres of 1.32 g/t Au and 41.1 Metres of 1.30 g/t Au at Kilgore

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 13, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Otis Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: OOO) ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the receipt of additional drill results comprising intercepts from the next set of logged and processed holes of its 2010, 32-core hole, 6,000-metre, Kilgore Gold Project ("Kilgore") drill program, Clark County, Idaho. Highlights of this second grouping of eight holes, listed in Table 1 below, include intercepts of 45.7 metres (m) of 1.32 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) in hole 10 OKC-222 and 41.1 m of 1.30 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-215. All holes except 10 OKC-216, which was drilled along the northern periphery of the deposit, encountered mineralization and were drilled as infills or extensions into areas where historic wide-spaced drilling resulted in gaps and/or areas of open-ended mineralization.

These new intervals, along with those from the first five holes recently reported on from Otis' 2010 Kilgore Drill campaign (Otis September 8, 2010 News Release) and from other significant bulk-tonnage intercepts determined for a number of the Company's core holes drilled during 2008 and 2009 in the nearby higher-grade core area of the Mine Ridge deposit (Otis October 7 and December 16, 2009 and March 23, 2010 News Releases), all support a high degree of confidence concerning continuity of mineralization throughout the deposit. These intervals further indicate the presence of mineralized thicknesses and average grades that are noticeably greater than those constituting the majority of the intervals comprising the historic Kilgore NI 43-101 compliant resource (Otis March 2, 2009 News Release). Based on results to date, Otis expects to increase the overall size, grade, and economic viability of the Kilgore deposit. Three-dimensional computer modeling of the deposit is being initiated and is expected to be completed in 2011 after all the 2010 drill results have been obtained and incorporated into the database.

As a continuation of Otis' successful 2008 and 2009 drilling programs, this year's drill program is being conducted as first-round in-fill and extension of the much larger 800-metre-long and 400-metre-wide Kilgore deposit area surrounding the deposit's higher-grade, 200-metre wide, Mine Ridge core area. Much of this surrounding area was historically drilled on extremely wide, 60- to 120-metre-spaced centers, with in-fill and extension drilling necessary to more fully and clearly evaluate the deposit. Historic drilling was conducted by Bear Creek, Pegasus Gold, Placer Dome U.S., and Echo Bay Mines from 1983 -1996, while exploring the property for a bulk-tonnage gold deposit (Otis June 10, 2008 News Release).

Locations of this second grouping of eight holes, which total 1,763 metres of drilling, and their corresponding assay intercepts, are shown in a drill-hole location map available on Otis' website at www.otisgold.com/projects/kilgore/.

Otis Drills 87.8 Metres of 1.26 g/t Au Including 32.0 Metres of 3.46 g/t Au at Kilgore

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 16, 2010) - Otis Gold Corp. (TSX:OOO) ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the receipt of additional significant drill results comprising potentially bulk-mineable, open-pittable intercepts from the third set of logged and processed holes of its 2010, 35-core hole, 6,657-metre, Kilgore Mine Ridge Gold Project ("Kilgore") drill program located in Clark County, Idaho. Highlights of this third grouping of seven holes, listed in Table 1 below, include intercepts of 87.8 metres (m) of 1.26 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) that further includes 32.0 m of 3.46 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-228, 45.7 m of 1.22 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-226, 30.5 m of 1.28 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-218, 30.5 m of 1.24 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-227, and 27.5 m of 1.72 g/t Au in hole 10 OKC-245. All holes encountered mineralization and were drilled as infills or extensions of areas where historic wide-spaced drilling resulted in gaps and/or areas of open-ended mineralization.

Table 1. Otis Gold 2010 Kilgore Gold Project Drill Highlights – Third Grouping
Hole Number From (metres) To (metres) Thickness (metres) Grade (g/t Au)
      10 OKC-218 138.1 168.6 30.5 1.28
      10 OKC-219 182.3 183.8 1.5 1.47
      45.1 46.6 1.5 3.58
      10 OKC-226 68.0 72.5 4.5 1.21
      214.3 260.0 45.7 1.22
      includes 246.3 257.0 10.7 3.53
      10 OKC-227 87.8 118.3 30.5 1.24
      includes 98.5 107.6 9.1 2.47
      10 OKC-228 11.9 99.7 87.8 1.26
      includes 64.6 96.6 32.0 3.46
      10 OKC-229 15.8 18.8 3.0 1.14
      60.4 93.9 33.5 0.58
      10 OKC-245 2.4 29.9 27.5 1.72
      104.5 113.7 9.2 1.09

Most importantly, hole 10 OKC-228 containing 87.8 m @ 1.26 g/t Au is directly on strike from and appears geologically associated with Otis' hole 08 OKC-191 that contains 55.4 m @ 6.15 g/t Au (Otis October 7, 2009 News Release). Specifically, Otis geologists believe these two mineralized intercepts, some 75 metres apart and open-ended along strike to the northwest and southeast for at least 250 metres, are associated with the same mineralized, northwest-trending dike sequence that occurs throughout the higher-grade core of the Kilgore Mine Ridge deposit. This highly prospective area will require detailed follow-up drilling in 2011 that could likely add additional resource ounces along the open-ended extent of its strike length.

These new intervals, along with those from the first thirteen core holes reported on from Otis' 2010 Kilgore drill campaign (Otis September 2 and October 10, 2010 News Releases) and from other significant bulk-tonnage intercepts determined for a number of the Company's core holes drilled during 2008 and 2009 in the nearby higher-grade Mine Ridge core area of the deposit (Otis October 7 and December 16, 2009 and March 23, 2010 News Releases), all support a high degree of confidence concerning continuity of mineralization throughout the deposit. These intervals further indicate the presence of mineralized thicknesses that are noticeably greater than those constituting the majority of the intervals comprising the historic Kilgore NI 43-101 compliant resource (Otis March 2, 2009 News Release). Based on results to date, Otis expects that there is a strong possibility to increase the overall size and economic viability of the Kilgore deposit. Three dimensional computer modeling of the deposit is being initiated and is expected to be completed 2011 after all the 2010 drill results have been obtained and incorporated into the database. Assays from the remaining 15 core holes will be released as they become available.

As a continuation of Otis' successful 2008 and 2009 drilling programs, this year's aggressive drill program, completed in late October, was conducted as first-round in-fill and extension of the much larger 800-metre-long and 400-metre-wide Kilgore deposit area surrounding the deposit's higher-grade, 200-metre wide, Mine Ridge core area. Historically, much of the surrounding area was drilled on extremely wide, 60- to 120-metre-spaced centers, with in-fill and extension drilling necessary to more fully and clearly evaluate the deposit. Historic drilling was conducted by Bear Creek, Pegasus Gold, Placer Dome U.S., and Echo Bay Mines from 1983-1996, while exploring the property for a bulk-tonnage gold deposit (Otis June 10, 2008 News Release).

Locations of this third grouping of seven holes, which total 1,380 metres of drilling, and their corresponding assay intercepts, are shown in a drill-hole location map available on the Otis Gold Corp. website at www.otisgold.com/projects/kilgore/.

      Analysis and Otis QA/QC Program

All assay work was performed by ALS Chemex Labs, Vancouver, B.C., which has ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification and ISO 17025:2005 Vancouver Lab technical capability accreditation. A 50-gram pulp of all samples was assayed for gold by Fire Assay/AA finish methods. Certified reference materials, duplicates, and blanks were inserted into the sample stream for quality control.

True bulk-tonnage widths are estimated to be between 90% and 100% of the drilled interval, based on their estimated dip, association with diking, and continuity of mineralization between drill holes. The HQ3-size core drilling was performed by Timberline Drilling, Inc., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, employing two Sandvik DE-140 core drills outfitted with a triple-tube core recovery system and face-discharge bits. Drilling results will be reported throughout Winter 2011 as they are received.

Otis Identifies Two Additional Drill Targets at Kilgore; Announces 10,000 Metre Drill Program

      April 6, 2011

Vancouver, B.C. - Otis Gold Corp. ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has identified two additional drill targets at is 100% owned Kilgore Gold Project located in Clark County, Idaho. As a result of these new targets, our ongoing expansion of the Mine Ridge deposit and exploration at Dog Bone Ridge, Otis is developing a drill program of up to 10,000 metres. The drill program is scheduled for the period from June 2011 to December 2011. This aggressive program comprises approximately 48 core holes to be broken out in the following manner:

      • 4,200 metres in 21 holes at the Mine Ridge volcanic-hosted disseminated gold deposit,
      • 3,300 metres in 16 holes at the new Prospect Ridge gold target;
      • 1,500 metres in 6 helicopter-supported holes at the new Gold Ridge target; and
      • 1,000 metres in 5 holes at the Company's previously described Dog Bone Ridge target.

The Company's new Prospect Ridge and Gold Ridge targets lie along the southeast and northwest strike extensions, respectively, of the Mine Ridge deposit. The new targets, in combination with the existing Mine Ridge deposit and targets at Dog Bone Ridge, have the size and geologic characteristics to host a multi-million ounce gold resource. The Prospect Ridge and Gold Ridge targets extend the strike length of the Northwest Fault that defines the Mine Ridge deposit to approximately 3 kilometers. A map of the company's drill targets can be found at http://www.otisgold.com/_resources/kilgore_2011_drill_target…

"The Kilgore Gold Project continues to exceed our expectations," states Craig Lindsay, President of Otis Gold. "Our drill success rate, the continuity of grade and thickness we have encountered and the identification of new drill targets continues to expand the resource potential at Kilgore. To capitalize on these opportunities, our 2011 drill campaign will be the largest program ever undertaken by Otis."

      Mine Ridge Program

This program, which encompasses up to 4,200 metres of drilling in 21 core holes, is designed to follow-up Otis' highly successful 2008 through 2010 drill programs that encountered significant gold mineralization in 46 of 51 core holes drilled at the Company's flagship Mine Ridge gold deposit. Twelve of the thirty-five core holes drilled in 2010 lie along and help define the current known boundaries of the Mine Ridge deposit, indicating that it is open in four directions with excellent potential to expand the resource. Otis' 2011 work at Mine Ridge will concentrate on drill evaluation of these open-ended areas of mineralization. Additionally, Otis will be completing an NI 43-101 resource estimate that should enhance the qualified resource base for the deposit.

      Prospect Ridge Drill Program

This program, which encompasses up to 3,300 metres of drilling in 16 core holes, is sited on the Company's newly-defined Prospect Ridge target that lies along the southeasterly strike extension of the Mine Ridge deposit and is proximate to it. The current target is 700 metres long by 200 metres wide, and is characterized by five scattered historic drill holes and two Otis 2010 drill holes that contain ore-grade intercepts. Collectively, these intercepts define a northwest-trending zone of gold mineralization that cuts through a rhyolite dome and its periphery just southeast of and adjacent to the Mine Ridge deposit. Mineralization along this zone appears to be the strike extension or continuum of the northwest-trending mineralization that defines the Mine Ridge deposit as it is currently known. Scattered intercepts within this new target that help define it and require offsetting include 15.2 m @ 1.27 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) in Echo Bay hole 96-EKC-180, 24.4 m @ 1.58 g/t Au in Pegasus Gold hole 93 PK-49, and 76.0 m @ 0.77 g/t Au that includes 13.7 m @ 2.88 g/t Au in Otis core hole 10 OKC-221. Part of the Prospect Ridge target coincides with an IP low geophysical anomaly, as does the Mine Ridge deposit.

      Gold Ridge Drill Program

This program, which encompasses up to 1,500 metres in 6 core holes, lies 1 km northwest of and along the northwest strike extension of the Mine Ridge deposit as it is currently known. The target's dimensions are roughly 1,000 m by 1,200 m, with the area underlain by a rhyolite dome in contact with lithic tuff host rock and dike material, the same setting as at Mine Ridge. The target is defined by the intersection and overlap of numerous important regional and local structures, soils anomalous in arsenic, antimony, and gold, and significantly large IP and resistivity low geophysical anomalies. This target defines a large area of convergence based on the above characteristics, is directly on the northwest strike extension of the Mine Ridge deposit, and has never been drilled. This drilling will require helicopter support as no drill access roads are currently available in the area. As a result, this program will be subject to permitting with the U.S. Forest Service separate from the planned drilling describe above for the Mine Ridge and Prospect Ridge areas, with drilling tentatively slated for late fall.

      Dog Bone Ridge Drill Program

The planned Dog Bone Ridge program encompasses up to 1,000 metres in 5 core holes. An extensive dip-slope sinter cap covering the paleosurface is characteristic of the Dog Bone Ridge target area, located 1.5 - 2.0 km southwest of the Mine Ridge deposit. The 2011 program is a follow-up of a five-hole program that was performed by Otis at the end of 2010 and that only initially tested 4 of 5 sizeable Controlled Source Audio-Magneto Telluric (CSAMT) geophysical anomalies. Some are over 1 km in length and were delineated by the Company during the fall of 2009. Recently, major faults in the area have been identified based on interpretation of the CSAMT work. The intersection of these faults with low resistivity zones, identified by the geophysical survey and significantly coupled with a low magnetic trough running through the target area, provide at least four new drill targets that will be tested with 1,000 m of coring later this year. Additionally, the most northerly Dog Bone Ridge geophysical target, which contains a historic core hole with an intercept of 51.8 m @ 1.25 g/t Au, will be offset along strike of the CSAMT anomaly by 500 metres.

All drilling associated with the planned Kilgore drill program is subject to receipt of appropriate drill permits, a process which is ongoing, and funding availability (the Company currently has approximately $5.6 million in its treasury). Final details of the drill program will be announced as they become available.

      Other

In a news release dated March 7, 2011 Otis reported an intercept of 9.14 metres grading 1.32 g/t Au for Hole OKC-242. During a routine Quality Control Assessment Chemex identified a discrepancy in their process that resulted in incorrect values of Au on certificate VA11013059 relating to Hole OKC-242. The Company was notified that the hole was re-assayed and found to be barren. This information has no bearing on the Company's upcoming 2011 drill campaign.

      Auszug:
      September 7, 2011
Vancouver, B.C. - Otis Gold Corp. ("Otis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce results from the first seven core holes of its Kilgore Gold Project ("Kilgore") drill program, Clark County, Idaho, all of which contain significant intercepts. Highlights of the drill program include:

      * The first four holes drilled at Prospect Ridge, located to the southeast and on strike with the known Mine Ridge deposit, intercepted gold mineralization, and are roughly on strike with historic Echo Bay hole 95 EKR-98 that contains 27.4 m @ 1.30 g/t Au and is located approximately 300 metres to the southeast of the first four Prospect Ridge holes. This is significant as Otis has long believed that Kilgore has the potential to host additional deposits to the existing Mine Ridge deposit; and
      * The first three holes drilled at Mine Ridge, which were placed as infills to test gaps that exist in the Mine Ridge deposit, also intercepted significant gold mineralization. This is important as the holes continue to confirm excellent continuity of the thickness and grade found throughout the known Mine Ridge deposit.

Otis Drills 100-Metre Plus Gold Intercepts; Discovers New Extension To Mine Ridge Deposit

      October 6, 2011

VANCOUVER, BC - Otis Gold Corp. (“Otis” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has encountered new ore-grade intercepts in excess of 100-metres thick from its most recent round of drilling at the Kilgore Gold Project (“Kilgore”), Clark County, Idaho. These results are groundbreaking as collectively they define a significant extension of bulk-tonnage gold mineralization at the Kilgore Mine Ridge deposit. These intercepts (see Table 1), the thickest and some of the shallowest and stronger ones drilled by Otis since acquiring the project in 2008, are all open-ended and collectively extend the deposit an additional 150 metres to the northwest. Intercepts include:

      114.3 metres (m) @ 0.89 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au), that includes 80.8 m @ 1.10 g/t Au in hole 11 OKC-258, and

      118.8 m @ 0.89 g/t Au, that includes 36.5 m @ 1.65 g/t Au in hole 11 OKC-259

The new intercepts defining the new Mine Ridge northwest extension of mineralization are shallow, beginning at depths between 6 metres and 35 metres, and as such further enhance the potential mineability of the Kilgore Mine Ridge bulk-tonnage deposit. Of the five holes reported in this news release, four of them, 11 OKC-256, 258, 259, and 260, are located in this new extension area, and the fifth hole, 11 OKC-257, which contains 50.3 m @ 0.70 g/t Au, was drilled as an infill in the central part of the deposit.

Otis’ Chief Geologist Mitch Bernardi states, “These intercepts represent the thickest and shallowest part of the Mine Ridge deposit encountered to date in an area previously thought to represent the boundary or edge of the deposit. The intercepts found in holes 11 OKC-256, 258, 259, and 260, along the northwestern edge of the deposit, are associated with a thick dike or sill and suggest a new area of significant open-ended gold mineralization has been discovered with economics that can only improve those of the overall deposit, which is already good.”

Otis Drills Discovery Holes at Prospect Ridge; Mine Ridge Deposit Continues to Grow

The first four holes drilled at Prospect Ridge, located to the southeast and on strike with the known Mine Ridge deposit, intercepted gold mineralization, and are roughly on strike with historic Echo Bay hole 95 EKR-98 that contains 27.4 m @ 1.30 g/t Au and is located approximately 300 metres to the southeast of the first four Prospect Ridge holes. This is significant as Otis has long believed that Kilgore has the potential to host additional deposits to the existing Mine Ridge deposit; and
The first three holes drilled at Mine Ridge, which were placed as infills to test gaps that exist in the Mine Ridge deposit, also intercepted significant gold mineralization. This is important as the holes continue to confirm excellent continuity of the thickness and grade found throughout the known Mine Ridge deposit.

Prospect Ridge Drill Program: The first four holes drilled into the rhyolite dome at Prospect Ridge, specifically 11 OKC-248, 249, 251, and 252, collectively comprise intercepts that extend the Mine Ridge deposit at least 130 metres beyond its previously known southeastern boundary, which remains open to the southeast. These intercepts include 64.0 metres (m) of 0.40 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au), inclusive of 22.9 m @ 0.78 g/t Au, all in hole 11 OKC-252, and 10.6 m @ 1.20 g/t Au in hole 11 OKC- 249 (see Table 1 below). Furthermore, these intercepts are roughly on strike with historic Echo Bay hole 95 EKR-98 that contains 27.4 m @ 1.30 g/t Au and is located approximately 300 metres further to the southeast. No drilling currently exists between the new Otis hits and this historic Echo Bay hole, leaving potential to expand the deposit even further southeast, possibly to the lithic tuff host on the southeast side of the dome.

Mine Ridge Drill Program: The remaining three holes of this first seven were drilled as infill holes to test gaps that exist in the central portion of the Mine Ridge deposit. Results continue to confirm good continuity of thickness and grade found throughout the deposit. All three holes contain significant intercepts that include 32 m @ 1.15 g/t Au in hole 11 OKC-247, 32.0 m @ 0.60 g/t Au and 18.2 m @ 1.29 g/t Au in hole 11 OKC-250, and 61.9 m @ 0.59 g/t Au and 33.1 m @ 1.27 g/t Au in hole 11 OKC-253 (see Table 1 below).

These new intervals, in combination with other significant bulk-tonnage intercepts determined for the majority of the Company’s core holes drilled during 2008 through 2010 in the main Mine Ridge deposit area, all support a high degree of confidence concerning continuity of mineralization throughout the deposit. These results further indicate mineralized thicknesses and average grades that are greater than those constituting the majority of the intervals comprising the historic Kilgore NI 43-101 compliant resource (Otis March 2, 2009 News Release). Based on these overall results, Otis continues to expect that there is a strong probability to increase the overall size, grade, and economic viability of the Kilgore Mine Ridge deposit.

With the recent addition of three more planned holes to offset and infill critical areas, Otis’ 2011 Kilgore drill program now comprises approximately 10,000 metres of core drilling spread among a minimum of 40 holes.
