      Hallo !

      - Bonfirm
      - Ruth
      - Samba.

      Bonfirm:

The Bomfim Agro-mineral project covers 30,922 Hectares across 4 claims and all exploration licenses and permits are in place. The projects benefits from local roads, communication and power lines all in close proximity. Bomfim is centrally located within the “Cerrado” Brazils rapidly expanding agricultural region. Bomfim is located 10 kms from MbAC Fertilizers Itafos Mine on what is now considered the new phosphate belt of Brazil where other major companies have claimed including, Vale and Votorantim.

      Ruth:

Eagle Star’s 100%-owned Ruth agro-mineral project (“Ruth”) is located in the center of Piauí state, near the cities of Picos and Eliseu Martins. Within Ruth’s claims boundaries, lay widespread phosphate bearing rock types, which are believed to host a large phosphate deposit. The project is in the vicinity of a large agricultural center while also surrounded by favorable infrastructure.

      Samba:

Located within the central western portion of Piaui state and near the cities of Valença and São José do Peixe, Eagle Star’s 100%-owned Samba agro-mineral project is believed to host a large phosphate deposit. The project is conveniently located next to a large agricultural center and to the East-West Transnordestina railroad.

      MBAC homepage:

      http://www.mbacfert.com/

      Itafόs – Current Operations:

In October 2008, MBAC Fertilizer Corp. purchased 100% of the shares of Itafós Mineração Ltda, located in central Brazil, near the border of Goiás and Tocantins states. The Company presently operates this small-scale mine and processing facility which has a production capacity of approximately 100ktpa. The current operation processes rock phosphate which is sold to local farmers for direct application.

      The Itafós Arraias SSP Project:

MBAC is now focused on the development of a higher volume and much larger mining operation, which is expected to be in place by mid 2012. The Itafós Arraias SSP Project will include a new mine and mill facility, a sulphuric acid plant, an SSP plant and a granulation plant. At full capacity, the proposed beneficiation plant is expected to generate 330 ktpa of phosphate rock concentrate at 28% P2O5. This phosphate concentrate will be used to produce 500 ktpa of SSP. Beyond this proposed first phase of development, the Company is also actively investigating the potential for a second phase of development which could double production and potentially be in place as early as 2015.

      Project Milestones Completed:

43-101 Technical reports significantly increased resources at Itafόs
April: increased M&I resource base from 12.9 Mt to 28.3 Mt @ 4.3%
July: increased M&I resource base to 58.8 Mt @ 5.01%

Die letzte Bohr-news von Eagle Star:

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/2012/12/21/eagle-star-continues…

"Eagle Star continues to intersect high-grade phosphate as it further extends mineralized zone at the south portion of Bomfim Hill (D1 Target).

December 18th, 2012 – VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA: Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX-V: EGE) (PINK SHEETS: ELGSF.PK) (Frankfurt: E6R.F) (“Eagle Star” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it continues to receive excellent handheld XRF results from pit opening at the southern portion of Bomfim Hill (Target D2). Pits 5 & 6 have both ended in high-grade P2O5 that exceeds the maximum limit range of 19% P2O5 on the XRF instrument. To date, seven pits have been completed to a maximum depth of 5 meters. These pits test a mineralized area of approximately 400m by 600m in size and based on information collected so far this area is likely to extend to at least 1.2 km in strike and may reach up to 10 meters in thickness.

      XRF Results are as follows:

The pits are distributed in the 400 by 600m area with an irregular pattern and no more than 150m spacing between nearest pits (with the exception of pit 4). Mapping of the pit walls revealed a sub horizontal interdigited contact between dolomite and the high-grade mineralization of the phosphorite unit. At surface, this contact characteristic is evidenced by dolomite pinnacles – a common feature on MbAC’s Itafós Deposit.

As shown in the results of Pits 4, 5 and 6, the high-grade mineralization is below lower grade soil coverage. Depth of soil coverage tends to increase to the east of Bomfim Hill, while closer to the hill higher grade mineralization is present at surface (Pits 1, 2 and 3). In Pit 7, the soil covers more then 5 meters yet the grade is still above the cut-off grade of 2.8% P2O5 used by MbAC Fertilizers (June 2010 NI 43-101 Technical Report). The interval from 4 to 5 meters seems to represent the transition to phosphorite material which once encountered, is expected to return much higher grades. With the exception of pit 5 and 6, where digging beyond 3.3 meters and 4.6 meters respectively proved to be tough due to hard rock conditions, test pits completed thus far have been terminated at a depth of around 5 meters to comply with the company’s own safety procedures. Pit opening has proved to be an important method of exploration for Eagle Star. Aside from the low cost of operating this exploration method, it also permits a 3-Dimensional view of the mineralization, enabling the technical team to define groups of ore types (with facies and sub-facies), and better understand and characterize the interdigited contacts and the relationships amongst them. As a result, it is possible to predict that the high-grade mineralization may reach up to 10 meters in thickness.

The Phosphorite Zone East (PZE) is composed of various facies of phosphorite which could be differentiated by way of texture, color, density, fragment-matrix ratio and P2O5 content. This last is expected to vary from 10 to 30% P2O5.

Eagle Star has recently encountered outcropping phosphorite to the north portion of the PZE, where it plans to perform the next phase of pit opening, as part of an effort to confirm the continuity of the high-grade mineralization along 1 kilometer in strike.

The XRF readings were done systematically following recommended procedures of the manufacturer. The pits are being channel sampled at a meter basis and for each meter three readings are conducted to obtain an average grade. Pre analysis, the sample collected is homogenized, dried (using microwave oven) and manually crushed to fine grain. The composite grade for the 5 meters is reached by simple averaging of the values obtained for each meter. The handheld XRF analyzer is an Olympus Delta model and was calibrated according to Innov-X Systems in-house calibration procedure. The Company conducts field XRF analysis using industry recognized sample preparation and analysis protocols, and has conducted sufficient quality control using the XRF method to believe that although the method cannot be relied upon to have the equivalent precision and accuracy of a certified analytical laboratory, the results are of sufficient quality to direct exploration pending analytical laboratory confirmation.

      CONCLUSIONS

“We now have a good understanding of how the mineralization occurs, its potential to extend laterally and to contain thick high grade intervals. Even at areas where there is thick soil coverage, the soil is mineralized at grades that remain well above the cut-off grade used by MbAC and proven to be economic. Since the results of the work performed thus far continue to confirm significance in thickness (5 to 10m), grades and lateral continuity, we believe that we are sitting on a very sizable volume of high grade phosphate material in the midst of a rapidly expanding agricultural area of Brazil.” Reports Dr. Campos, expert in the phosphate mineralization of the region and Technical Director of the Company.

John Harrop, of Coast Mountain Geological, a qualified person under NI 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical disclosures of this press release on behalf of the company.

      Letter from President, 27.12.2012:

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Lett…

      Auszüge:

"Our Bomfim Agro-Mineral Project, which we acquired in late June of 2012, seems to possess all the technical merits that could turn it into a very valuable phosphate deposit. In just a short six months of operation and with only few of our numerous high potential targets explored by way of drilling and/or pit opening, we have already discovered significant phosphate mineralization.
At Bomfim Hill, initial mapping has exposed an area of 1500m x 600m in size covered in high-grade phosphorite outcrops. It was then decided to open a series of systematic test pits as this method enables our team to get the best possible sense of the extent of the high-grade mineralization at depth. What followed next is extremely rare within Brazil as we have intercepted in multiple pits high-grade material (in some pits higher than 19% P2O5)) at or close to surface and this mineralization still remains open at depth (meaning that in certain pits we know mineralization is more than 5 meters thick). The discovery of a high-grade zone within Bomfim adds significant value to our portfolio. High-grade phosphorite could be easily transformed into fertilizer for direct application at a very low cost. Our team is already exploring for the fastest and financially most attractive avenue to take this into production. With Bomfim located right at the center of the “Cerrado” region of Brazil, an enormous fertilizer market is right here at our doorstep ..."

"Ruth has all the ingredients necessary for the development of a successful mining operation. At the Canabrava Block, large exposures of a mineralized sub surface by way of outcrops, erosion and a very limited overburden attracted us to pursue further exploration that led to the discovery of a substantial phosphate package averaging 7 meters in thickness with a strike in excess of 30 kilometers. The package itself is unique in its make up: a highly mineralized hard dense sandstone (8-12% P2O5) is intercalated with a lower grade soft pliable siltstone (1-3% P2O5) These very distinguished physical attributes make separation of the sandstone from the siltstone simple, cost effective and financially beneficial since post separation, both materials will have commercial use. The lowgrade phosphate material (rich in many nutrients beneficial to the soil) is currently being tested in a live environment as a natural fertilizer for direct application. The high-grade material, through beneficiation would be sold as standard fertilizer material. Because the volume is so apparent at Canabrava, the focus is now on developing the metallurgic flowsheet with the help of our two metallurgic engineers. Preliminary solubility, separation and beneficiation tests have already returned positive and once a process for concentration is reached, we believe Canabrava will become one of the largest sedimentary phosphate deposits within Brazil in arguably its most strategic location ..."

Eagle Star Intersects More High-Grade Phosphate at the North Portion of Bomfim Hill with 650 Meter Step Out and Extends Mineralized Strike Over 1.2 Kilometers

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 8, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is very pleased to announce that Pit-08 hand held XRF results have returned 11.08% P2O5 from surface to 5 meters depth, including 3 meters grading 13.11% P2O5.The mineralized interval is open at depth. With this 650m step-out, results from Pit-08 indicate that the high-grade mineralized package should extend along a minimum strike of 1.2 kilometers.

      CONCLUSIONS

"The results of Pits 1-7 have already demonstrated that the volume of high-grade mineralization discovered at Bomfim Hill is sizable. With results from Pit-08 now confirming mineralization covers a much larger area then initially indicated it is obvious why we at Eagle Star have become extremely excited about the scope of this discovery. Better still, with mineralization open in all directions including at depth, we are confident that there is a lot more potential to be uncovered here at Bomfim Hill," commented Eran Friedlander, President & CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp. "We now plan to utilize the knowledge of our metallurgical engineers to determine the best process to take this into early production most possibly in a similar manner as to how MbAC started their operation at Itafos."

"Late Last year we saw Rio Verde (RVD) get purchased for ~$60 million with a measured resource of 1.9Mt of P2O5 @ 19%.....If you read between the lines Eagle Star with a Market cap of Aprox $12 Million has an area of over 550,000 sq kilometers mineralized to a minimum depth of 5 meters and grading between 15%-28% P2O5. (And still open at depth) If you do the math this resource looks much bigger with comparable grade with a market cap six times smaller....An this looks to be just one area of the project...They have 7 other targets...JUst a thought.."

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/downloads/news/ES_NR_March_24_2…

      Es gab keine Kapitalkonsolidierung o.ä.

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/downloads/news/ES_NR_June_22_20…

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/downloads/news/ES_NR_Feb_28_200…

Damit verbunden dann das CNQ delisting

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/downloads/news/ES_NR_May_01_200…

Am 25. Februar 2010 wurde eine Eisenerz-property in Brasilien erworben. Das war der Schritt nach Brasilien.

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/downloads/news/ES_NR_Feb_25_201…

      http://eaglestarminerals.com/downloads/news/ES_NR_Jul_6_2010…

Am 16. Juni 2011 wurde die "Ruth"-property akquiriert.

      http://www.wallstreet-online.de/diskussion/1178749-1-10/eagl…

Am 26. Juni 2012 wurde Bonfirm akquiriert. 75 % gehören Eagle Star, 25 % Quantum Mineração Ltda.

Unter folgenden Kriterien kann Eagle Star 100 % erwerben:

" Initial cash payment in the amount of BRL 50,000 to Quantum within (10) business days upon project approval by the TSX Venture Exchange, earns Eagle Star 75% interest in Bomfim,
2 Payments of R$200,000 in cash at the end of the 1st and 2nd phases of exploration respectively, for a total of R$400,000, assuming positive results following each phase.
Upon completion of a NI 43-101 proven resource report, and assuming the resource calculation returns a minimum of 20 million tonnes at an average grade of no less than 4%P2O5, Eagle Star will purchase the remaining 25% interest for a total of 100% from Quantum by making a payment in cash or shares as follows:

For the first 20 million tonnes – One (1) Brazilian Real per ton.

For any additional quantity above 20 million tonnes and in between:
20-25 million tonnes – 0.75 Brazilian Real per ton
25-35 million tonnes – 0.50 Brazilian Real per ton
35-50 million tonnes – 0.40 Brazilian Real per ton
      >50 million tonnes – 0.25 Brazilian Real per ton

(1 Brazilian Real = .501 Canadian Dollars as of Thursday June 25, 2012)"

"Dr. Guimarães Campos has consulted to a multitude of agro-mineral projects throughout different regions of Brazil. He was co-advisor to the technical study of the Campos Belos/ItafósArraiasphosphate deposit in Goiás-Tocantins state now owned and operated by MBAC Fertilizer Corp. which included the in-depth observation of the geological modeling of the deposit."

On February 7, 2012, the Company entered into a termination agreement to cease exploration on the Angico Iron Ore Project despite its excellent potential to host significant iron ore mineralization"!

I.d.R. dürfte da vorher sowieso ein buy-out stehen -

"To date, seven pits have been completed to a maximum depth of 5 meters." Am 8. Januar kam dann pit 8 dazu. Aus der Projektübersicht der website: "Eagle Star has completed 400 meters of the 2600 meters planned as part of their scout drilling program.")

Eagle Star Intersects More High-Grade Phosphate in Pits 9 and 10 Which Remain Open in Depth at the North East Portion of Bomfim Hill

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 16, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce hand held XRF results from two additional pits at the north portion of PZE which have yet again confirmed high-grade phosphate throughout the area. Pit-09 returned 17.75% P2O5 over a 4 meter intersection from surface and remains still open in depth. Exploration on the pit was restricted due to hard material limiting further manual digging beyond 4 meters. Pit-10 returned 1m @ 14.33% P2O5 starting from 4 meters and is also open in depth. Pits 8, 9 and 10 are aligned along a strike of 180 meters and based upon their results, mineralization appears to extend beyond the 1.2 kilometer strike previously announced Jan 8th, 2013.

To view Bomfim Pits 1 to 10 please click on the following link: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/EGE0116.pdf

XRF readings were collected systematically following recommended procedures of the manufacturer, Innov-X Systems. Pits are channel sampled along meter intervals and for each sample three readings are collected and averaged. Prior to analysis, the sample collected is homogenized, dried (using microwave oven) and manually crushed to fine grain. The composite grade for the pit is reached by weighted averaging of the values obtained for each sample.

      CONCLUSIONS

"Bomfim continues to deliver fantastic results. We are now confident that the east side of Bomfim Hill hosts a significant amount of high-grade material which we intend to quantify over the coming months by way of a NI 43-101 resource report," commented Eran Friedlander, President & CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp. "What's even more intriguing is that we have only begun to fully uncover the potential throughout our claim blocks. The west and central portions of Bomfim Hill as well as additional targets of outcropping high-grade phosphate identified to the north have made it very clear to our technical team that we have just begun to scratch the surface in terms of a high-grade, large tonnage deposit."

Eagle Star Minerals Contracts Geological Firm to Complete NI 43-101 Resource Report at Bomfim

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 5, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce it has contracted Coast Mountain Geology of Vancouver, B.C., Canada to complete the NI 43-101 resource report on the south east portion of Bomfim Hill. Continuous pit opening within the 550,000 sq. meter east portion of the Bomfim Hill has returned high-grade phosphorite of up to 5 meters so far with mineralization open in all directions. Eagle Star intends to continue with test pits and trench opening in conjunction with geo-physical studies to delineate the NI 43-101 report as it regards this to be the best approach to achieve a three dimensional outlook of the high-grade mineralization.

The preliminary NI 43-101 resource report will be focused on the south-east portion of the Bomfim Hill (PZE), one of six high-grade targets that have been identified to date on the Bomfim claims by way of detailed mapping. Eagle Star plans to complete this report within three (3) months time and use its results to prove the economics of its plans to venture into production of direct application natural fertilizer from the high-grade mineralization at Bomfim Hill.

"Feed Stock: Eagle Star Minerals Plants Itself Into Brazilian Phosphate Market

      August 2, 2012

For four decades now, Brazil has been emerging as a global agricultural leader, surging ahead as an extremely productive bread-basket. Today, Brazil leads in production of sugarcane, coffee and concentrated orange juice, and is the world's largest exporter of beef, poultry, and sugar. As well, the country is among the world's elite producers of soybean and corn crops. It seems that the world is hungry and Brazil is ready to feed it.

Today's Brazilian farmers use plenty of genetically modified seeds, no-till planting, and apply some of the largest amounts of fertilizer necessary in the world. The fertilizer helps to reduce the soil's higher-than-normal levels of acidity and replenish lost nutrients due to heavy rainfall.

It's these large amounts of fertilizer required to keep this Brazilian food machine humming that have market analysts paying close attention. While the country is a leading exporter that's filling many of the world's shopping carts, Brazil relies heavily on fertilizer imports, a reliance the government is not so keen on.

Increased fertilizer demands have exposed the possible linchpin for the growing economy, as marginal costs will only increase as long as Brazilian farmers have to compete with the rest of the world for supplies. Due to this, analysts are calling Brazil, "one of the most advantaged global regions for junior developers to advance greenfield fertilizer assets."

The response to this call to action has come from multiple sources, many of which are local to Brazil. But two Canadian based companies are also adding heft in the region, each with the same focus, yet vastly different market caps.

The first is MbAC Fertilizer Corp. [MBC:CA], which is set to ramp up full scale production and concentration at its Itafós project in Q4 this year. The second is Eagle Star Minerals [EGE:CA], though substantially earlier stage than MbAC, which has worked diligently to build the necessary team making them an attractive candidate to acquire a nearby concession, The Bomfim Agro-mineral Project. Only 20km away from Itafos, experts believe Bomfim is housed within the same phosphate belt and shares the very same geological characteristics.

Both companies offer North Americans the opportunity to take part in the effort to aid Brazil's fertilizer needs at relatively different stages. MbAC Fertilizers, in just over 2.5 years has recognized these opportunistic trends within the Brazilian fertilizer market and has swiftly capitalized on them by developing the Itafos mine. Trading at highs of over a $400 million market cap, the path to success has been paved for the next junior to enter the limelight. Eagle Star Minerals plans to replicate that journey. With their latest acquisition of Bomfim the company plans to leverage on the experiences of MbAC and by following their proven geological, exploration and economic models at Itafos thus repeating their success in an even lesser timeframe at a lower capital cost.

      FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES

Over its history, Eagle Star has made a habit of bringing on high-profile members to its board and advisory committee. Included in this list are storied geologists with a strong handle on the agro-mineral sector, and even a former Brazilian cabinet minister. But the latest addition of Dr. José Eloi Guimarães Campos was a match made in heaven.

This man is one of the go-to experts in Brazil when it comes to agro-minerals and he comes with a built-in history specifically pertaining to Eagle Star's Bomfim project. Most importantly, he was directly involved at a hands-on level in the building of the geological model and the in depth technical study for the Itafos project which was later purchased by MbAC for $35 Million and put into production immediately.

He's acted in consulting capacity for several projects around the country, many of which are directly involved with phosphates. In the field of agro-minerals, Dr. Campos is seen as one of the top experts in the country with regards to sedimentary phosphate deposits. Today he is a member of multiple geological organizations, and is one of the head professors at the University of Brasilia, where he most recently has taken a leave of absence to oversee the development of Bomfim on a full time basis.

It was through being invited to look over the company's first two projects (Ruth and Samba) that lured Dr. Campos to join the Eagle Star team. Not long after his enlistment, Dr. Campos delivered another opportunity in the form of the Bomfim.

Knowing that he was intimately associated with the property that would later become MbAC's next production site, the owners of the Bomfim property approached Campos with an offer. Upon doing due diligence and sample testing, Dr. Campos recommended that Eagle Star take on the opportunity, as it was only 20km away from MbAC's flagship, and sharing the same geological and technical merits as Itafos.

      BOMFIM AGRO-MINERAL PROJECT

Of Eagle Star's three main Brazilian agro-mineral properties, the Bomfim is the latest addition, and is noteworthy due to its proximity to not only Itafós, but to upcoming projects from Brazilian majors such as Vale and Vetoratim. Eagle Star announced the acquisition of Bomfim in late June 2012, initially taking on 75% of the project with an option to purchase the remaining 25%. The project encapsulates 30,922 hectares across four claims.

Strategically located within Brazil's main agricultural area, the Cerrado, Bomfim is surrounded by two large agricultural centers, West Bahia and NE Goias. Soil in this region is very old, and lacks the sufficient nutrients needed for agro production without the aid of fertilizers. Infrastructure wise, the property is sound, with local roads, powerlines and water available for concentration all in close proximity.

On deck for Eagle Star and the Bomfim project is continuation of mapping in conjunction with manual pit and trench opening until the end of August. Eagle Star intends to commence scout drilling in early September followed by an intensive 27,000 meter systematic drilling program with a 43-101 technical and resource calculation by July 2013

The initial impression that Dr. Campos took away from his latest Bomfim site visits was the very strong case for the extension of the Itafós projects' mineralization passing directly through Bomfim's claims.

The same main mineralization controls are present in the area and include the phosphorous source, paleo channels environment and outcropping phosphorite lenses. It's in these phosphorite lenses that the company feels it has derived proof of mineralization, and are where Eagle Star found sample results up to 28% P2O5.

      THE BOTTOM LINE

Brazil's agro-mineral needs are blatantly obvious when looking at their import numbers. This is leading to the push for domestic development, of which MBAC and Eagle Star are both taking part in.

Eagle Star appears to have the land it needs to make a strong impact in the area, and only time will tell if they will get there. But for those looking for the next MBAC, Eagle Star has all the markings of being a strong candidate for that label.

Eagle Star Intersects 17.41% P2O5 Outside the Originally Estimated High-Grade Phosphate Zone at the East Portion of Bomfim Hill

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is very pleased to announce that hand held XRF results from Pit-11 has returned 2m @ 17.41% P2O5 average grade (from 2.1 to 4.1 meters and remains open at depth). Pit-11 was opened outside of what was originally estimated to be the high-grade zone at the Eastern portion of Bomfim Hill (Phosphate Zone East - PZE).

Upon successful intersection of high-grade phosphorite at Pit-11, two additional pits were opened even further north. They too have intersected high-grade phosphorite. Together, these three pits confirm that the high-grade mineralization at the Eastern portion of Bomfim Hill now extends over a longer strike then originally estimated while it is still open in all directions. Pit-12 returned XRF readings of 3m @ 7.43% (from 2.0 to 5.0 meters, including 1m @ 9.92% P2O5, open at depth) and Pit-13 returned XRF readings of 1m @ 10.19%P2O5 (from 2.0 to 3.0 meters, open at depth). Due to the hard nature of the phosphate rock found in this northern area the team was not able to reach its target depth of 5 meters in each pit by way of manual digging. Drilling is therefore required to fully test these pits at depth and to continue with exploration further north.

The 6 pits reported here in the north portion are aligned over 300m and extend mineralized continuity along strike to at least 1.5 kilometers. The results from Pit-11, 12 and 13 also further strengthen Eagle Star's geological model that suggests grades of phosphorite rock will increase at depth due to decreased exposure to weathering. This trend is supported by all other pit results announced to date.

Note: To view the map of additional pits, please click the following link: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/ege0220.pdf.

      CONCLUSIONS

"We are very excited about these developments. To further extend an already sizeable mineralized strike comes as a complete bonus and just goes to show how substantial the Bomfim discovery is shaping up to be." Commented Eran Friedlander President & CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp. "With plans for early production focused on the east side of Bomfim Hill (PZE) it is clear how this new discovery can bring significant value to the company in the short term".

In light of significant progress achieved over the past twelve months, Eagle Star Minerals wishes to announce that, in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange, the board of directors has approved a grant of incentive stock options to twelve of the Company's directors, managers, consultants, and employees to purchase an aggregate of 2,800,000 common shares pursuant to its 2012 stock option plan.

All options granted as per this press release will have an exercise price of $0.38 per common share and expire on February 18, 2018.

Eagle Star Intersects High-grade Mineralization Near Surface and More Than Doubles Length of Mineralization at the Bomfim Project A1 Target

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is very pleased to announce that it has significantly increased the mineralized zone at target A1 by more than doubling its length to 570 metres (previously announced as 250 metres - see news release dated 12 November, 2012). Two pits opened to the south of scout drilling holes BRF-03 and BRF-15 along strike, based on targets developed from detailed mapping (1:10,000) and recent geophysical work in the area, suggest the mineralized zone extends significantly further.

Pit AM-01 intersected near surface, high-grade mineralization with XRF handheld readings of up to 15.37% P2O5 over 2.0 metres. Other results also show the continuity of mineralized envelopes at different cut off grades. Both pits end in the mineralized unit, which based on drill and geophysical results 200m to the north, may extend to over 20 metres depth (see press release dated February 26th, 2013).

      CONCLUSIONS

"These latest results from our A1 Target validate yet again the quality of work performed by our team in the field. Furthermore, the results confirm the value of information obtained through detailed mapping and geophysics and how important it is for our team to perform these tests over selected high-grade targets at our Bomfim Project," comments Dr. Campos, an expert in sedimentary phosphate mineralization and Technical Director of the Company. "I think the addition of these two pits in the northern block demonstrate the potential for the project to expand in scale as we move towards a resource calculation."

Eagle Star Minerals Provides Update on Progress of Grid Drilling at the PZE-South (Target D1), Bomfim Hill

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 18, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce significant progress with its 150 hole reverse circulation (RC) grid drill program at the PZE South Portion (Target D1). Drill results will be used in conjunction with that of an ongoing geophysical survey to construct a three dimensional outline of the mineralized zone. To date, the Company has finished 27 (RC) drill holes and in parallel, has completed over 80% of the 20 km geophysical survey planned for the area.

An important focus of the work program is to demonstrate the correlation between geophysical results and key geological units that will be used to increase the resolution of the mineralization outline between drill holes.
The design of the drilling program will enable the Company to compare between results from this program and results from drilling densities used by other companies for resource delineation purposes on similar projects. Eagle Star chose a combination of three drilling grid densities of 50x50m, 100x50m and 200x200m to best support future resource estimation. Areas already identified to contain higher grade mineralization (>15% P2O5) will be targeted with 50x50m grid drilling. The total drilling area covers approximately 1400 by 500m.

The Company has developed and received Certified Reference Material (standards), which has already been inserted into the sample stream on the first batch of drill samples that were shipped earlier this week as part of their continuous effort to apply industry recognized QA/QC practices. Since laboratory phosphate standards are not commonly available commercially, the Company has developed low and high grade certified reference materials from mineralized ore at the project site. This is the ideal material for quality control reference standards since it is chemically and mineralogically identical to pit and drilling samples.

In addition, two trenches have been opened along lines with completed geophysics, drilling and pits. "These trenches are already providing important information for the interpretation of geophysical and grid drilling results. They provide a unique opportunity to test grade and geological continuity in areas with known geophysics and drilling. That is a key component in building a reliable three dimensional model of the mineralized zone. Initial mapping and geochemical field tests of the trenches have indicated a strong correlation between the geophysical interpretation and the geological mineralization controls. Moreover, since visual and qualitative geochemical field tests in all completed drill holes and trenches have indicated a higher grade mineralized interval, this zone appears to be laterally continuous over hundreds of meters, typically with a very low strip ratio," noted Mr. Fabio Mendonça, Eagle Star Minerals Exploration Manager.

Mr. John Harrop, PGeo, FGS, an independent Qualified Person with Coast Mountain Geological Ltd, has recently visited the site reviewing the project to determine that best sampling and QAQC practices are being followed during the drilling program. Following his visit, Mr. Harrop noted, "Considering the relatively short time Eagle Star has been involved in the Project, their team has effectively advanced the Project at a commendable rate." The Company has retained Coast Mountain Geological Ltd as the lead author of a Technical Report. Mr. Harrop has reviewed the technical content of this news release.

Eagle Star Discovers New High-Grade Target at the North of Bomfim

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 7, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to report a newly discovered, high grade phosphate area (Target G or "Kalunga target") in the northern-most area of its Bomfim claims. This new target area contains multiple outcrops of high-grade phosphorite, which based on the company's geological model and now also exploration experience, is a positive indication of phosphated material found in larger tonnage beneath. Hand held XRF analyses from the discovery outcrop have already indicated the prospective nature of the area having returned values of up to 16% P2O5.

      Point/Sample Rock Code P2O5 (%) CaO (%)
      WBF25-A FOS 13.55 12.58
      WBF25-B SLX/FOS 8.83 8.10
      WBF25-C FOS 16.17 14.27
      WBF25-D FOS 10.59 10.00
      WBF25-E FOS 11.30 10.09

The preceding table contains results from five grab samples, which are by nature selective and may not be representative of the mineralized unit sampled; they should not be relied upon.

The geological setting of this high-grade phosphate mineralization shares many similar geologic controls observed at other targets discovered during both Bomfim and Itafos exploration including:

      (a) Proximity to granite source rocks - much the same as Target A ("Amaury target") at Bomfim,
      (b) Extensive plateau - similar to that at the Canabrava target in MbAC's Itafós
      (c) Silicified phosphorite - similar to that observed capping Bomfim Hill (Target D or "Bomfim targets - MSZ/PZE/PZW").

Immediately following the discovery of this new target, the company conducted 1,400 meters of geophysical survey to assist in defining the extent of the new mineralized area. The data is currently being processed and will be interpreted in conjunction with a 1:25,000 detailed mapping program. Pit, trench and drill hole targeting are being planned to commence soon after.

XRF readings were collected systematically following recommended procedures of the manufacturer, Innov-X Systems. Prior to analysis, the sample collected is homogenized, dried (using microwave oven) and manually crushed to fine grain.

John Harrop PGeo, FGS, of Coast Mountain Geological Ltd, a qualified person under NI 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical disclosures of this press release on behalf of the Company.

      CONCLUSIONS

"The discovery of Target G (Kalunga) supports our theory that predicts the existence of multiple ore bodies at Bomfim. We believe this to be very similar to MbAC's Itafós Project, where several ore bodies combine to form a significant resource," commented Eran Friedlander President & CEO.

Eagle Star Extends Drill Program to Further Delineate Resources on Additional Outcropping Targets Identified at The Bomfim Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 14, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that based on positive results, the drill program being carried out at the Bomfim Agro-mineral Project has been extended in order to quantify resources on additional targets already identified through previous field work. 110 holes have been added to the program in addition to the 150 holes originally planned.

The new program will be distributed amongst remaining areas of Target D (PZE South) other than the portion of the target where the resource calculation is currently being carried out. An additional six areas with very similar geological context and known mineralized zones are also programmed to be explored which include Target D (PZE North), Target D (MSZ), Target D (PZW), Target A (Amaury), Target G (Kalunga) and Target F (Adepasa). These seven targets to be drilled are located within a 15km radius and the Company's focus will be aimed towards defining high-grade (> 15% P2O5) and lower grade (5%-15% P2O5) zones that collectively will represent the overall resource at Bomfim.

      Target D "Bomfim Hill"

(PZE South)- Large occurrences of outcropping high-grade phosphate were discovered as a result of detailed mapping (1:10,000). A geophysical survey consisting of 17 kilometres has also been concluded with results indicating the potential for a sizeable mineralized package and has been an instrumental tool in assisting with drilling in preparation for the resource calculation. To date, drilling has completed a total of 100 holes and material has already been shipped for lab analysis. Hand held XRF recognition is also systematically being performed on all drill holes as they become available.

(PZE North)- Detailed mapping (1:10,000) revealed an area in which the high-grade phosphorite outcrops over a significant portion of the target area. Follow-up work included opening six pits distributed along the northern portion of the target. All pits intersected good phosphate mineralization and remain open at depth along a continuous trend of at least 300 metres. Drilling on a 100 x 100 meter grid is scheduled to further quantify resources at PZE North.

(MSZ)- A target of high priority, MSZ is considered by Eagle Star's technical team to be the source of the high-grade phosphorite which was re-deposited in alluvial and/or colluvial channels in the other Targets at Bomfim Hill (PZE- North, South and West). Eagle Star has identified by way of detailed mapping (1:10,000) a silicified phosphate cover estimated to be 5-8 metres in thickness at the top of the hill. To date, due to the hard nature of the silicified cap, exploration work by way of manual pit digging has been unsuccessful in passing through this material. Dr. Campos, Eagle Star's expert on phosphate and Chief Operating Officer believes that the silicified phosphate will preserve the phosphorite most likely to be found beneath.

(PZW)- This target resides in the same geological setting as PZE North & PZE South and shares much of the same favourable technical characteristics for hosting high-grade phosphate. Detailed mapping (1:25,000) has already revealed the presence of outcropping phosphorite at the western base of the Bomfim Hill which is an important indicator to additional phosphate mineralization to be found in the area.

Target A (Amaury)- Detailed mapping (1:10,000) at this area has revealed outcrops of high-grade phosphorite. As part of a scout drilling program, two holes BRF-03 & BRF-15 were executed in strike and were previously reported (news release dated 12th Nov 2012) to return good intersections of up to 16 meters consisting of significant zones including grades up to 13.65% P2O5 over 2.40m. A geophysical line survey of 2.5 kilometers performed on top of both drill holes indicated a strong correlation between geophysical and drill results providing valuable insight between drill holes. The geophysical survey also indicated that mineralization should extend to the south and closer to surface. Two pits were opened to confirm this and they returned preliminary indications of high-grade phosphate values of up to 15.37% over 2.0 metres by handheld XRF, further extending the strike to 570 meters. The preliminary interpretation of this zone suggests a tabular form of mineralization that may extend laterally over 1.5 kilometers. (see news release dated 28th Feb 2013.)

Target G (Kalunga)- The regional exploration program conducted to the north of Target A identified a prospective area of outcropping phosphorite where hand held XRF results of chip samples returned significant values including a high-grade sample with 16% P2O5. Further geological mapping at a 1:50,000 scale showed favourable geological context very similar to other targets where high-grade phosphate has been discovered. These areas of interest are currently being followed up with more detailed mapping and test pits prior to drilling. One geophysics line (1,400 metres) was surveyed (passing by the targets selected to carry out pit testing) and has returned a very favourable profile that justifies further exploration by way of drilling.

Target F (Adepasa)- Follow up work and interpretation of the results from the scout drilling program lead the team to identify this promising area. The prospective interpretation is based on the presence of a silexite hill where the typical rock textures of the phosphorite are preserved through the silicification process. The plateau surrounding the hill also displays the same type of soil that occurs at Target D. One geophysics line (700m) has already been surveyed and revealed the presence of a thick profile from dolomite bedrock to surface.

John Harrop PGeo, FGS, of Coast Mountain Geological Ltd, a qualified person under NI 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical disclosures of this press release on behalf of the Company.

      CONCLUSIONS

"We believe that collectively within the targets mentioned above, we are sitting on multiple phosphate bodies, hence why we have decided to extend this drill program. The NI 43-101 Technical Report on the way is the first milestone as part of the overall plan to quantify and qualify the total phosphate resource at Bomfim. We plan to continuously update that report as we move the drilling from one target to another," commented Eran Friedlander Eagle Star President & CEO.

Eagle Star Minerals Engages Coffey Mining Consultants for the NI 43-101 Resource Calculation at The Bomfim Agro-mineral Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 30, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX VENTURE:EGE) (PINKSHEETS:ELGSF) (FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the formal engagement of Coffey Mining Ltd. ("Coffey") to assume the role of calculating resources in a series of NI 43-101 technical reports planned for each of the 8 targets identified so far at The Bomfim Agro-mineral Project ("Bomfim") starting with the PZE-South area at Bomfim Hill.

Coffey is a well known International Mining consultancy group with over 50 years experience and having over 3,000 employees working on projects in more than 80 countries worldwide. Coffey currently has permanent offices throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. The Brazilian office based in Belo Horizonte will assume responsibility of this assignment. Eagle Star's intention is to involve two separate firms, - Coffey and Coast Mountain Geology ("Coast Mountain") of Vancouver B.C, alongside each other, to qualify the project's geologic perspective as well as to quantify its resource potential. Coast Mountain has recently completed a site visit to Bomfim and as the author of the report, will be responsible for signing it.

      CONCLUSIONS

"We are very pleased to have a reputable firm like Coffey working on the resource calculation for the upcoming NI 43-101 technical report at Bomfim. Our team has worked diligently to have advanced this property within the time frame that we have and we are all eagerly awaiting the outcome of this preliminary report." Commented Eran Friedlander President and CEO Eagle Star.

      PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Bomfim Agro-mineral Project is located in the southern portion of Tocantins state, Brazil along the same phosphate mineralized trend in which MbAC Fertilizers holds the Itafós Arraias Project. The region is considered a new phosphate belt of Brazil wherein many majors (MbAC / Vale / Votorantim) are all in the process of developing mining operations. All exploration permits are already in place and an aggressive exploration program is targeted to define an NI 43-101 resource calculation by Q2 of 2013.

Dr. Campos, Eagle Star's COO, Director and expert on phosphate has a long history of working in the region over the past 15 years. His experience includes his direct involvement as co-advisor to the technical study of the Itafós mine now owned by MbAC Fertilizers. Dr. Campos assisted with developing the geological model found at Itafós resembling what has now been found at Eagle Star's Bomfim.

The strategic location (near to agricultural centers of West Bahia State and NE Goiás State) allied to the local infrastructure (roads, communication, power lines) has proven this area economic for a profitable mining operation. Government mining incentives also reinforce a unique opportunity for investment.

Eagle Star Commences Thermophosphate Product Testing at Bomfim

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 10, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce, that based on its interpretation of exploration results obtained so far at the Bomfim Hill target PZE South, the Company has commenced Thermophosphate testing on high-grade ore commonly found throughout the property. The purpose of these tests is to investigate the economics of producing Thermophosphate as an end product at Bomfim Hill in addition to the original plan of producing direct application natural fertilizer. Assuming results validate the economics of Thermophosphate production, Eagle Star would then be able to leverage on the strong demand for phosphate among the many agricultural centers in close proximity to the Bomfim project area. Thermophosphate currently sells for approximately 500 dollars per ton within Brazil.

Due to its high solubility in citric acid and very low solubility in water, Thermophosphate, when applied to the soil, remains available for plant intake throughout a much longer period of time in comparison to traditional fertilizer products creating an excellent environment for crop growing. Especially in places like Brazil, where the soils are exposed to heavy rainfall, Thermophosphates agronomic efficiency has proven to be high. Eagle Star intends to take advantage of the fast growing market for phosphate focusing on large agricultural centers in the states of Goias, Tocantines and Bahia.

The tests will be performed by IPT (Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas) at the Universidade de São Paulo and be supervised by professor Efraim Cekinski who is an expert in the field of Thermophosphate research. A 50kg sample has been taken from high-grade ore found in trenches at the Bomfim Hill PZE South and it is estimated that a total of twenty tests will be conducted over a three month period to determine the economics of producing Thermophosphate from the high-grade ore at Bomfim.

      CONCLUSIONS

"These tests represent an important milestone that we intend to achieve as part of our path to production. The outlook for Thermophosphate in Brazil looks promising and we believe there is a window of opportunity for Eagle Star to build a very profitable business around this product that will ultimately greatly benefit our shareholders." Commented Eran Friedlander President and CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp.

CORRECTION FROM SOURCE: Eagle Star Announces Significant Resource Delineation Drilling Results at PZE-South Target, Bomfim Hill

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - July 9, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") would like to make an amendment to the previous news released this morning at 7:14am PST July 9th, 2013. The original text read as follows: "The drilling campaign in PZE South focused on an area of approximately 2,500 sq. meters which was systematically covered with reverse circulation ("RC") drill holes commencing at a nominal spacing of 50 x 50 meters followed by infill drilling in selected areas at 25 x 25 meter spacing."

In fact the area covered with reverse circulation drilling and for which results have been reported today, extends "250,000 square meters" in size rather then "2,500 square meters" as appears in the original press release.

The Company would like to apologize for this error.

The complete and corrected press release follows:

Eagle Star Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce excellent lab results from the resource delineation drill program at the Bomfim Hill PZE-South target (hereby "PZE South"). PZE South - one of eight targets containing high-grade anomalies identified by the Eagle Star team throughout the Bomfim Project so far, has been prioritized for drilling due to limited soil coverage of less than 0.5 meters over the mineralization. All drill holes are vertical. Drilling widths are believed to represent true width of the mineralized zone. Width variation between holes occurs as a result of the shape of the dolomite footwall on which the mineralized zone rests. Drill hole names indicate the position of a hole within a grid by their line number and station number on the line. Lines 4 through 12 are at 50m spacing. Stations along the line are at 50m spacing, except where drill hole names such as RC-L11-1/2 indicate that a hole is located between stations 1 and 2. Chips from reverse circulation drilling are collected in bags for each 1 meter interval. Chips are logged at the drill site and a representative split is taken on site for submission to the analytical laboratory.

In addition to drill results, the Company is pleased to announce it has received lab results from 13 pits opened in PZE-South and PZE-North as seen in the following table:

In all pits, mineralization is still open at depth. The results from pits 8 to 11 suggest the presence of a high-grade mineralized zone in the north similar to that in the south (now confirmed by drilling). This area is scheduled to be systematically drilled by Eagle Star in the coming months.

The Company has previously released field XRF results on all of the above pits except for BF-15 and 16. These results, in addition to maps locating the pits were published in news releases dated 10th December 2012, 18th December 2012, 16th January 2013, 20th February 2013 and 28th March 2013.

      CONCLUSIONS

"We are thrilled with the outcome of these lab results, as they do not only support the geological model we have developed for PZE South and confirm the existence of high-grade mineralization in this target, but more importantly, they reinforce our confidence in the potential of our other seven targets and the overall value of the Bomfim Project. Upon successful completion of this phase of drilling and with the resource calculation for PZE South now well underway, our team has commenced work at our next target for which we expect to have updates very shortly," commented Eran Friedlander President and CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp.

      WORK PROGRESS UPDATE

Work completed thus far in addition to the reverse circulation drilling and pit opening at PZE-South includes two trenches (55m), 18 kilometers of geophysics survey (resistivity method - lines spaced 50 by 100m), ground topographic survey using total station, ore type characterization, density measurements of each ore type (currently being conducted), detailed mapping (1:2,500 scale) and 10 geological sections that gather drill hole data and surface information. Input from these sources of geological data are currently being used by Coffey Mining Limited of Belo Horizonte Brazil to calculate a resource at PZE-South as part of the NI 43-101 technical report being prepared under the supervision of John Harrop at Coast Mountain Geological Ltd of Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Company implements industry recognized QAQC methods at the project. The Qualified Person has reviewed the QAQC results and inspected procedures during a previous site visit but has not otherwise verified the data in this news release. Intertek Laboratories ("Intertek") of Sao Paulo Brazil, was used for analytical work reported in this news release. Intertek is part of an international group of certified (ISO 9001:2008) laboratories recognized in industry for geochemical and agricultural testing. Determination of P2O5 was done by Intertek method XR55L which prepared the sample with a lithium tetraborate fusion followed by XRF analysis. Intertek is independent of the Company. Analytical work on pits was provided by a combination of Intertek and Laboratório de Caracterização Tecnológica ("LCT") at Escola Pilotécnica da Universidade de São Paulo in Departamento de Engenharia de Minas e de Petróleo. LCT is a professionally operated, research laboratory and is independent of the Company. LCT used a similar analytical method to Intertek with a lithium teraborate fusion followed by XRF analysis.

"Eagle Star Makes Strategic Acquisition of Former Vale Phosphate Areas at Bomfim

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - July 16, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is very pleased to announce the addition of a new concession, 6,947 hectares in size, to its Bomfim land package. This new concession, contains a target now named "Santiago", and was previously held by mining giant Vale. Santiago is considered to be a highly prospective area for hosting high-grade phosphate mineralization and is strategically positioned between Eagle Star's Bomfim Agro-mineral Project and MbAC Fertilizer's ("MbAC") Itafos-Arraias SSP Project. In fact, on the southeast Santiago borders the discovery site of MbAC's largest and highest grade ore body - Canabrava containing 20.4 M tonnes indicated at an average grade of 5.53% P2O5 and 3.7 M tonnes inferred at an average grade of 4.94% P2O5 (MbAC Technical Report dated March 27, 2013 available at www.sedar.com). Canabrava is an adjacent property to the Bomfim Project containing a deposit with the same deposit model as the targets identified at Bomfim. With the addition of Santiago, the Bomfim Project now comprises a total of 70,531 hectares along the main phosphate belt of Brazil.

Field evidence collected through Eagle Star's due diligence process revealed the presence of substantially sized high-grade phosphorite outcrops where multiple well spaced grab samples analyzed with handheld XRF equipment returned values of over 19% P2O5 (upper limit of equipment) as shown in the following table:

These results suggest that the Canabrava ore body may extend onto Eagle Star's newly acquired claims and that the Santiago target may host a significant high-grade phosphorite zone similar to the high-grade zones already identified on other targets in the Bomfim Project area.

      CONCLUSIONS

"The addition of this new claim clearly adds tremendous exploration potential and strategic value to Eagle Star." Comments Eran Friedlander President & CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp. "Santiago has been on our radar screen for quite some time now as it perfectly meets all the technical requirements prescribed by the same geological model that has led us to the discovery of the PZE South portion of Bomfim Hill where we have just recently concluded a very successful drill program. With its addition to our already existing list of seven high priority targets, we believe that we are now extremely well positioned to successfully execute on our strategy of proving up multiple ore bodies at Bomfim similar to MbAC's Itafos at the midst of the Cerrado region - the world's most strategic agricultural location."

Eagle Star Receives Additional High-Grade Drill Results Including 18 Meters of 15% P2O5 From Surface at Target A1 ("Amaury"), Bomfim Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 14, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX VENTURE:EGE)(PINKSHEETS:ELGSF)(FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is very pleased to announce additional high-grade lab results from the RC drilling program now underway on its second target ("Target A1" or "Amaury"). Target A1 is one of eight identified so far to host high-grade anomalies at the Bomfim Project. The intent of this drilling campaign was to extend and eventually quantify resources of the high-grade mineralized zone previously discovered in Target A1 through pit opening and scout drilling (see news releases dated November 12, 2012 and February 28, 2013).

To date, three mineralized envelopes have been outlined on the basis of detailed mapping (1:25.000 scale), information obtained by way of pit opening, drill results and geological modeling. The program focused on outcropping phosphorite located within the high grade P2O5 envelope at a 100 x 100 meter spacing while also testing the extent of the surrounding medium and lower grade P2O5 envelopes. All drill holes are vertical and drilling widths are believed to represent the true width of the mineralized zone due to the bedded nature of the mineralization.

The following drill results represent positive intersections from the high-grade mineralized zone.

      CONCLUSIONS

"The combination of the drill results from Target A1 with what we have discovered at our Bomfim Hill PZE-South target is tremendously exciting for us. It clearly validates the geological model we have developed for the area and strengthens our original theory that any target identified based on this same model represent an area of phosphate mineralization. Furthermore, though our work to date is mainly focused on high-grade outcropping mineralization, results demonstrate that there is additional, significant upside potential to uncover by drilling surrounding areas which are mineralized at lower grades," comments Eran Friedlander, President & CEO Eagle Star Minerals Corp.

Eagle Star Receives $1,680,000 from Exercise of Warrants and Outlines Investment Plan

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 4, 2013) - Eagle Star Minerals Corp., (TSX VENTURE:EGE) (PINKSHEETS:ELGSF) (FRANKFURT:E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is very pleased to announce it has received $1,680,000 from the exercise of 8,400,000 share purchase warrants exercisable at 20 cents per share. The warrants were part of an oversubscribed non-brokered private placement in the amount of $925,000 at a price of 10 cents per unit completed August 31, 2012. The Company would like to thank its shareholders for their continued support.

      USE OF PROCEEDS:

DRILLING: Eagle Star plans to continue moving forward with its drill program aimed towards quantifying high-grade outcropping phosphorite found on now nine separate targets distributed along the phosphate belt within the Bomfim claims. Drill data received from this ongoing program will be interpreted by Coffey Mining Limited as it becomes available for the purpose of incorporating it into updates of the NI 43-101 report now under preparation. Once this work is done, the Company intends to start drilling lower grade zones within the same nine targets to start quantifying the extent of this other type of mineralization.

FLOTATION TESTING: The Company intends to continue flotation tests on representative ore types of different grades from both The Bomfim and Ruth projects. Successful flotation results will allow the Company to produce fertilizers not only from the high-grade phosphate mineralization it is currently in the process of proving, but also from lower grade phosphate mineralization it believes to have in large quantities on both the Bomfim and Ruth projects.

THERMAL PHOSPHATE TESTING: Internal research conducted by the Company has shown the benefits of producing Thermal Phosphate as a final product to sell to NPK manufactures in Brazil. Due to its very low solubility in water, Thermal Phosphate is an ideal fertilizer for crops grown in tropical climates that are prone to heavy rainfall, ranking it in the top of its class in terms of agronomic efficiency. It is for this reason that Thermal Phosphate sells at a price premium to other phosphate based fertilizers within Brazil. Eagle Star intends to continue performing extensive thermal tests on high-grade phosphorite and commence similar tests on lower grade phosphate that has been upgraded through the flotation process in order to prove the feasibility of full cycle production from lower grade phosphate to high-grade Thermal Phosphate.

PRODUCTION: Proceeds of this latest raise are also planned to fund the down payment required to secure acquisition of certain equipment essential for construction of a processing facility as part of the Company's plan to move into production of direct application natural fertilizer by early 2014.
