FortuneCity.com Inc`s MyPhotoAlbum Announces 1,000,000th Photo Download and
Launches Online Photo Printing Service
New York, February 14, 2005 - FortuneCity.com Inc. announced today that
MyPhotoAlbum.com, its 100% owned online photo sharing service, recently had
its 1,000,000th photo download and has added online photo printing services.
FortuneCity launched a beta version of MyPhotoAlbum last summer and has rolled
out a series of site features and user enhancements every month since. The
latest revisions include photo printing services allowing online photo album
visitors to easily view and add photos to their shopping cart and get the
printed photos delivered to their door a few days later.
The base service offered by MyPhotoAlbum allows registered users to store
hundreds of digital photos online for free. The Company currently earns
revenue from two sources; advertising impressions are served alongside the
millions of photos viewed each month in addition to the newly launched print
services. MyPhotoAlbum is planning on offering paid club memberships as well
as photo-based merchandise. The club membership is designed for high volume
users that need additional software tools, disk storage and user features.
The popularity of digital photography has exploded. InfoTrends/CAP Ventures
put 2004 worldwide sales of digital cameras at $24 billion. Technology
providers are competing to gain market share for editing, storing, printing
and sharing digital photos. MyPhotoAlbum is currently registering in excess
of 10,000 new users each month.
