Die Mail von Arafura hat mich doch beruhigt bis umgestimmt; das Problem ist dort bekannt und das Argument, man habe die Aktie vor gut 2 zwei Jahren mal in Deutschland promotet, zählt insofern nicht, als das gesamte Mgt. inzwischen ausgetauscht worden ist (damals war ja Kurinelli das Flagship-Projekt und von Nolans Bore kaum die Rede). Was die Uran-Strategie betrifft, so hat mich das Mgt. überzeugt, denn Uranprojekte sind in Australien politisch ein rotes Tuch, auch wenn es rechtlich im N.T. anders aussiet (Federal Government kann im N.T. die Regionalregierung überstimmen). Deswegen macht es Sinn, Nolans Bore als reines Rare Earth Projekt zu vermarkten, wo ein bißchen Uran als Nebenprodukt anfällt. Das ist seriöses Mgt.; wenn Du mal das Gegenteil davon sehen willst, schau Dir Mawson an, die in Schweden ein riesiges Uran-Rare-Earth Vorkommen (historische Resource) gestakt haben. Hier spielt das Mgt. ausschließlich die Urankarte, um den Kurs hochzupushen und in die steigenden Kurse rein zu verkaufen. So bringt man zwar die Aktionäre kurzzeitig hinter sich, aber die Bevölkerung gegen sich und das Uranprojekt auf.
Wenn ich diese Überlegung weiterspinne, komme ich eben genau zu dem naheliegenden Schluß, die Uranproperties von Arafura in eine NewCo auszulagern und die Anteile pro rata an die Aktionäre als Sachdividende auszukehren, um Arafura Uran-frei zu halten und die Umsetzung von Nolans Bore in keiner Weise zu gefährden.

Na bitte - es geht doch! Close auf Tages- und All-Time-High bei fast 2 Mio. Aktien Umsatz. Langsam kommt Musik in die Aktie. Von dem SPP würde ich mich nicht beeindrucken lassen. Auch wenn viele hier nicht partizipieren konnten, wäre die Alternative gewesen, dass einige Broker das Teil gezeichnet hätten und ihren Kunden eingebucht hätten. So kann man hoffentlich die Aktionärsbasis verbreitern und der Markt sollte schnelle Gewinnmitnahmen eigentlich schlucken, zumal man ja in Australien fast auf SPP-Niveau hätte kaufen können. In wenigen Wochen ist die Wet-Season im N.T. zu Ende und dann drehen sich die Bohrer und der News-Flow wird für zunehmendes Interesse sorgen.

GF, these guys just don't know the value of ARU. They'll take their 30% without even bothering to study the stock. They probably won't even think about the guy who's buying their shares. Why will he/she be buying? Because this is a very undervalued stock. We all know that this is likely to go up way more than 30%, but those who sell will miss out. I'm holding this long term and keeping every share I can get my hands on. I'm very confident that this will be a multiple bagger within a year and will continue to grow for a good while after that too.
Quick profits give you a little thrill, but patience with the right stocks gives a greater reward imho. There are a few stocks around that have returned more than 500% in less than a year. I think ARU is going to be one of them. It's primed for take-off. I don't know what's going to happen in the short term and don't really care - it's the long term that I'm interested in and this is one of the best stocks I've seen for buying and putting away in the bottom drawer.

Agree. All the ducks are lining up for this one...reminds me of CMR about the same time last year. The market cap of ARU is a joke given the quality of the deposits and tenements they have in their portfolio. This stock is long overdue for a significant re-rating IMO.

I don't know what's going to happen in the short term and don't really care - it's the long term that I'm interested in and this is one of the best stocks I've seen for buying and putting away in the bottom drawer.

Agree. All the ducks are lining up for this one...reminds me of CMR about the same time last year. The market cap of ARU is a joke given the quality of the deposits and tenements they have in their portfolio. This stock is long overdue for a significant re-rating IMO.

Seems to be some reasonable accumulation going on at the moment. Some strong bids at the top of the pile for both the heads and the oppies...somebody wants in.

Ich habe mal ein Update zur Projektvorstellung aus #24, und zwar zum Uranproperty in Lucy Creek. Neben dem Kurinelli Gold-Projekt (unexploriert, wo Goldsucher ca. 5.000 oz Gold einfach so vom Boden aufgesammelt haben) hat Arafura offensichtlich recht unbemerkt ein Borhprogramm für Lucy Creek geplant, das noch in 2006 starten soll (siehe Artikel unten). D.h. in Kürze wird in Lagoon Creek (Uran/Laramide), Kurinelli (Gold) und Lucy Creek gebohrt. Dazu weitere target drills und Scoping in Nolans Bore und ich würde nicht wundern, wenn auch mal ein Bohr-Rig in Yalarimbi (Nähe Nolans Bore) vorbeischaut. Ich habe mir mal ein paar australische Urangesellschaften angeschaut. Die meisten sind trotz geringer Uranresourcen außerhalb des N.T. (wesentlich) höher bewertet als Arafura. Wenn Arafura einen Spin-Off von Lagoon Creek, Lucy Creek, Yalyrimbi und Woodforde River in eine Uran NewCo durchziehen würde, wäre die auf Anhieb höher bewertet, als Arafura inkl. Nolans Bore und die Goldgebieten in Mt. Porter, Frances Creek (mit der Mühle um die Ecke) und Kurinelli sowie die rd. 13 mln A$ Royalties aus dem Eisenerzprojekt in Frances Creek.

Lucy Creek could be home to a new uranium mine after a significant discovery in the area about 200 kilometres east of Alice Springs.
Early exploration has uncovered uranium mineralisation but drilling is now needed to determine the viability of any future mine. Managing director of Arafura Resources Alistair Stephens says the initial signs are promising.
"We are looking at drilling out uranium resources in 2006, with success in that, and follow up drilling, then we would develop a mine plan and go through a lengthy permitting operation. It wouldn't be unreasonable to think you could be in uranium production within 5 years time. We are also drilling for uranium to establish a resource for capital raising purposes. The sizes of the deposit could vary. But in general we would be looking for projects that have about 10 to 20 or 30 million pounds of contained uranium. Bearing in mind that uranium price in Australian dollars is about $50 per pound. So a 30 million pound uranium deposit has potential value in the ground of $1.5 billion."
"A lot of work needs to be done to actually determine whether it's economically recoverable but but at this stage its a very good leader."
Mr Stephens said drilling is planned for the coming months but it will be some time before a decision is made to develop a mine.
"We're at the very pointy end of the start and in reality its a minimum of five years I think before you would say that a mine could be developed."
