Thermal Fragmentation equipment mobilization in Peru - Rey Salomon gold mining concessions update

March 1st, 2012 – Rocmec Mining Inc. (TSX-V: RMI) is pleased to inform its shareholders of the
significant progress made at the Rey Salomon gold mining concessions (also known as the OFIR MINE).
For further details about the property or the joint-venture agreement between Rocmec and Chazel Capital
inc., see press releases dated 14 and 15 November 2011. The Rey Salomon concessions are been
developed under an aggressive schedule at no cost to our shareholders and represent a key concept for
our corporate strategy aimed at eliminating its debts and increasing its market value.

Thermal Fragmentation Equipment: Thermal Fragmentation equipment has been mobilized by sea and
has recently cleared Peruvian Customs. Equipment is now awaiting shipping to our mine site located
approximately 750 km from Lima.

Operating Equipment: Various equipment such as a D6 Dozer, utility vehicles, generators, air
compressors and jacklegs have already been acquired and are currently in use at the mine site. A dump
truck and a backhoe have been identified and will be delivered to the mine site shortly.

Mill Plant: Our 50 ton per day CIP milling plant is currently undergoing preventive maintenance in
preparation for the commissioning period. An initial electrical and mechanical inspection confirmed that the
plant is in pristine condition and can be easily upgraded to 100 ton per day. Environmental Permits have
been obtained in order to install a rubber liner in our first tailing reservoir.

Mining Contractor: A local mining contractor has been selected to prepare underground mining blocks in
preparation for the Thermal Fragmentation mining process. Underground work will begin at the OFIR vein
as soon as the contractor mobilizes the equipment on site.
Stockpiling: Mineralized rocks from old access drifts and from various veins exposed to the surface are
being gathered and transported daily to the mill in preparation for mill commissioning. This stockpiling
approach is transitional until the Thermal Fragmentation production steadily achieves 30 ton per day.
Infrastructure: The mining camp offices, kitchen and sleeping quarters are being upgraded in order to
comfortably house 40 employees.

Workforce: Key and trustworthy Peruvian personnel have been hired and are now conducting the day-today
mine site preparation and are following an aggressive schedule aiming at starting the mine production
in the Spring of 2012.

Corporate Social Responsibility: Rocmec and Chazel Capital inc, its joint-venture partner are working
hard to ensure the local industry benefits from the investment made in Peru. Except for the Thermal
Fragmentation related equipment, all the equipment is being purchased locally and 100% of our current
mine workforce comes from the Peruvian pool experienced employees. Hiring a Peruvian mining
contractor is a clear indication of our commitment and trust in local expertise.

Mr. André Savard, Rocmec’s president and CEO states: “I am extremely pleased with the progress made
on the Rey Salomon concessions in such a short period of time. Such important progress is bringing us
closer to our goal of becoming a new gold producer in 2012. Also, our staff has reported that the
equipment mobilization in Peru has generated a significant increase of information requests concerning
Rocmec’s Thermal Fragmentation technology.”

Rocmec Mining Inc. is active in the exploration and the development of gold resources in Quebec and
Peru. The Corporation holds a gold property with resources recognised in accordance with NI43-101, a
modular treatment plant and also an exclusive license for the thermal fragmentation mining method for
exploiting narrow-vein ore deposits.

The company’s growth strategy is based on:
 The development of its gold deposits with the objective of producing revenue from its operations;
 Increasing the value of its mining assets by prioritizing the exploration targets;
 The commercialisation and employment of its thermal fragmentation technology.

In den ersten 3 Quartalen des GJ 2010/11 hat Rocmec keinen müden Cent in Russian Kid investiert. Immerhin sind dann in Q4 doch noch 65,000 CAD locker gemacht worden.

Zink blieb gestern erfreulicherweise über 0.90 CAD.

Heute wird es jedoch wegen der Unsicherheit betreffend Griechenland wieder ziemlich turbulent zu und hergehen an den Märkten.

Auszug aus dem Revisionsbericht vom Januar 2012:

Emphasis of Matter
Without qualifying our opinion, we draw attention to Note 2 in the
consolidated financial statements which indicate that the Company has
not generated any income or cash flows from operations. This condition,
along with other matters as set forth in Note 2, indicate the existence of a
material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt about the Company’s
ability to continue as a going concern.

rocmec ist im moment in peru unterwegs - haben ihre thermal fragmentation anlage mitgenommen und sind guter dinge dort endlich mal was produktives zu schaffen.

Ja ich muss sagen für einen solchen Tag wie heute hält sich unsere Globex tapfer mit CAD 1,27 / 1,36, wobei ich in Anbetracht der wirklich verheißungsvollen News der letzten Tage doch ein anderes Kursniveau erwartet habe ... aber sei es drum - die 6 Monate zählen bereits und Xmet wird liefern, sonst hätten Sie ja nicht unbedingt nachverhandeln wollen aber für den Globex Kurs zählen keine Absichtserklärungen oder Optionen sondern erst wenn das Geld geflossen ist aber 3.25m CAD bzw. bei Option b sofort 4.5mCAD wären bei der MarCap von GMX schon ne Hausnummer wo sich der Kurs bewegen sollte und wird!!! Außerdem haben wir noch viele Pfeile im Köcher

Was macht denn eigentlich Rocmec? Die haben mal irgendwann im Herbst 2011 irgendein Debt to Equity Programm umgeschuldet und wollten dann weiter explorieren aber seit dem passiert da nix ... nicht das wir das schon kennen aber das Projekt war ja auch mal im Fokus. Ohne Worte der Laden!!!

Noch mal zu Ironwood - gibt es da auch schon ne PEA? D.h. plant man überhaupt selber evtl. ne Mühle dort hinzubauen oder ist die einzigste Option die von Anglo American zu nutzen ...

Zink und Kupfer weiter massiv unter Druck......die 0.90 Schallmauer bei Zink wird bald wieder nach unten durchbrochen wenn das so weitergeht.
