In Rocmec 1 (Russian Kid) wurden schon weit über 20 Mio CAD investiert. Sogar eine unterirdische Mühle war installiert. Aber ob sie je mal funktionniert hat, das wissen die Götter.

Achtung! Das ist Kapital von Jack privat.....natürlich kann er es für Timmins-Deloro oder Chibougamau einsetzen.

Vielleicht hat er sich aber ein Haus mit Umschwung in Ontario gekauft.

tja, osk steht im moment zwar nur mehr bei 12,40 - trotzdem ein echter jackpot...

aber nach sovielen jahren sei es ihm wirklich gegönnt und ich gebe die hoffnung nicht auf, dass sich auch mal die wenigen treuen aktionäre freuen werden.

So hier die Mitteilung in der man den Deal sieht von Jacks GJSL mit Osiko. Es ging um den Rückkauf einer Royalty. Es ist tatsächlich ein happiger Betrag und wie ich das interpretiere, entgingen der Provinz Quebec ein erkleckliches Sümmchen an Steuern.... Es sei Jack gegönnt.

Mining Veteran Jack Stoch On Wasamac: “The Potential Is Great”

One intriguing company we’ll be exploring in greater detail during our visit to northwest Quebec is Globex Mining Enterprises (GMX, TSX) which has been a project of President and CEO Jack Stoch, well-known in Quebec mining circles, for nearly a quarter of a century. The company, which was listed only about a month after the 1987 stock market crash, has just 22 million shares outstanding and has gone through no rollbacks. GMX gives new meaning to diversification – it seems an investor has exposure to just about the entire periodic table with Globex. Wasamac is also a big part of the equation for this company and Stoch agrees that Richmont’s property has multi-million ounce potential.

Mining in Quebec has certainly been profitable for Stoch. Just recently, Osisko Mining (OSK, TSX) purchased back a 1% royalty interest from “Geoconseils Jack Stoch Limitee” (his private company) in consideration for the issuance of 460,000 common shares of Osisko (do the math, at $14 a share that’s a lot of money – Stoch will pay more in taxes that most people will ever earn in a lifetime). The royalty was encumbering a portion of the Canadian Malartic and Barnat deposits and is part of a 2.5% gross metal royalty interest that was granted as a result of the acquisition of certain claims of the Canadian Malartic property in March, 2006.

Stoch, a bright geologist and businessman, was gracious with his time with me as our interview lasted for more than an hour. At one time he was reported to be the largest private mineral rights holder in Quebec, so he knows this business and the area like the back of his hand. Over the course of the next week, as we continue our visit to northwest Quebec, we’ll be posting more segments of the interview but below is a short 3-minute excerpt. Stoch is bullish on the Wasamac area and Globex holds 5 strategic claims (the potential eastern extension of the Wasamac deposit) that it recently optioned to Richmont for a hefty price.

Ich bin überzeugt, dass die Suppe nicht so heiss gegessen wird. Es wird sich ziemlich schnell erweisen, ob dieses Gesetz tatsächlich der Minenindustrie den Schaden zufügen wird wie befürchtet wird.

Eine gewählte Regierung hat ein Gesetz verabschiedet und diese gewählte Regierung kann auch abgewählt werden und eine neue Regierung kann das Gesetz ändern. Schliesslich hängen sehr viele Arbeitsplätze davon ab.

Persönlich sehe ich es nicht so dramatisch. Wie kalorex schon sagte, es kann einen gewissen Mehraufwand bedeuten und je nach Lage kann auch mal eine Genehmigung verweigert werden.

Wenn ich mich an meinen Flug von Toronto nach Rouyn-Noranda erinnere, dann habe ich in dieser Gegend sehr wenig Wohnhäuser gesehen. Ausserhalb Rouyn-Noranda gibt es fast mehr Seen als Wohnhäuser....

Ausserhalb Quebec haben wir natürlich Timmins-Deloro, Tennesee Zink Mines, Bell Mountain, Mooseland und das Mangan-Projekt von Houlton-Woodstock.
Bei Magusi sehe ich keine Hindernisse und es wird auch noch eine ganze Menge weiterer Projekte in Quebec geben, die nur am Rande betroffen sind.

Danke für die ergänzenden Informationen Will.

Mal ganz ehrlich, habt Ihr das gelesen? Habt Ihr es verstanden?

Mir stehen dabei die Haare zu berge. Wenn diese Regulierungen durchkommen = gute Nacht Mining Business in Quebec.

Jetzt ist mir schon klar, was in Jack vorgeht.

Wenn sich hier in alternativen Projekten ( die nicht in Quebec liegen ) nicht deutlich etwas tut, bin ich raus. Was meint ihr denn, wer noch einen Optionsvertrag für ein solches Projekt unter diesen Bedingungen eingehen will? Ich würde mich hüten. Und selber produzieren sehe ich als genauso riskant.

Bin ich ja sehr gespannt, was unsere Langfristinvestoren da noch alles erwartet in der Zukunft...

Von Rocmec hat man schon einige Zeit nichts mehr gehört. Sie haben in den ersten 3 Quartalen 2011 auch keinen müden Cent in Explorationen investiert. Die Lage ist ziemlich hoffnungslos. Aufgrund des tiefen Kurses muss enorm verwässert werden ein paar Dollars zusammenzukratzen für Bohrarbeiten.

Lassen wir uns überraschen, was die neue Führung bringt.

zumindest fällt noch der Name Rocmec 1 als zu entwickelte Goldliegenschaft.
Aber zuerst wollen sie Ray Salomon in Prod.bringen, mhhh, soll das weiter entwickelt sein oder was ? Rocmec 1 hat doch schon die Infrastruktur.....
