Nokia has announced its plan to be an associate sponsor for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week-Autumn/Winter 2007 (WIFW) for the second season, reinforcing its association with fashion industry.
Inspired by latest Nokia 6300, the most sleek and stylish handset this year, Nokia has announced tie-up with India’s leading designer, Vikram Phadnis to create a collection.
This exclusive collection designed by Vikram Phadnis will be showcased at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week on March 24, 2007 in Ashoka, New Delhi.
"We are pleased to strengthen our bond with the Indian fashion fraternity and style conscious consumers, by participating in India’s premier fashion event, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Mobile phones today are not just about functionality but have become style statements for consumers. Nokia is leading this change and bringing iconic products to the market which blends both style and substance," said Devinder Kishore, Director Marketing Nokia India.
"For WIFW this year, Nokia has tied up with leading designer, Vikram Phadnis, to create an exclusive collection inspired by Nokia’s latest offering – Nokia 6300. Vikram’s designs with their straight lines and minimalist look reflect aesthetics of Nokia 6300 beautifully," Kishore added.

Nokia muss nochmal richtig Gas geben um auf dem Handymarkt wieder mehr Kunden zu bekommen. Es werden meiner Meinung nach immer wenig er die ein Nokia Handy besitzen, denn die Qualität ist nicht mehr dieselbe wie früher. Die Konkurrenz hat enorm aufgeholt, wenn nicht sogar schon überholt.
