Wir hoffen alle, dass diese langatmige Geschichte ein happy ending haben wird. Im Moment hilft da eben nur (je nach Einstellung) Beten, Ablenken, Mitdenken, Ausschalten, andere Werte kaufen, mit den Kindern spielen...
Eine Entscheidung über die LAMP werden wir aus keinem Foristo 'rauspressen können. Bei allem Respekt vor den Forumskollegen, wir sind nur Beobachter...

Die Wissenschaft ist die große Chance, die Globalisierung nicht den Banken zu überlassen, nationalistische Politik zu überwinden und fundamentalistische Dogmata infrage zu stellen.
Ich hoffe, der brillant geschriebene Hotcopper-Beitrag ist nicht zu optimistisch. Jedenfalls drückt er genau den fundierten Optimismus aus, den wir brauchen, um überhaupt an eine Entwicklung der Menschheit glauben zu können. Durch solche Beiträge gewinnt das Invest in Lynas noch andere als rein finanzielle Gewinnmöglichkeiten.
Und all dies ohne irgendwelches stupide Gepushe...
Ein echter Lesegenuss zum WE.

The Chinese work is centered at an institute at Peking University, which has more than 30 academicians and PhD level professors and associate professors. The outstanding scientist in the field who himself has educated a generation of rare earth separation chemistry specialists is Professor of Chemistry and Director of the State Key Laboratory for Separation Scince, Dr Chun-Hua Yan.
Peking University and the University of Malaysia are embarking on a program to co-operate in the training of Malaysian scientists and engineers to study not only rare earth processing but also downstream development of functional rare earth products.

Now what do you think about China.?
My opinion.
Dr Yan has just founded the rare earth industry in Malaysia.
Not through politics,Foreign trade ,Diplomats,but through Science.
When you hear him talk (which is difficult)you sense instantly that this is a scientist that is besotted with rare earth as much as lynasheads.
He says..we know so little yet.
Its like listening to a scientific visionary..he knows there is a limitless amount of magic that rare earth hides.Thats the challege.limitless innovations/inventions..and he and his team cant do it full justice..it needs more input.
In search of that...he found the LAMP.
He spoke so highly of LYC,s Rhodia scientists...its like the spacestations where science is all that matters..and teams from different nationalities work in harmony.
His peace offering is astounding.
He is willing to share decades of research ,technology and engineering with an outside country..(yes he,s Chinese)
East and West braintrusts join in harmony.
He then wants back up..fresh minds,fresh ideas,so the Universities align and Rare earth becomes a subject,that ends up with a Degree/Diploma,and with the shortage of rare earth experts..Malaysia will become the Harvard of rare earth attracting overseas students.
This is a massive trilogy...China..LAMP..Malaysia....only possible because of the beacon in the middle.
Those worried about Anwar Ibriham getting elected and following through on closing down LAMP...well Anwar has just inherited a small stumbling block...CHINA.
I loved his slant on communicating with the public.Subtle,same same but different.He sidestepped Educating..instead went with ..sharing..ie LYC should take the public along on its journey..again he went into that its such an exciting field,and was getting across that that what needed to be communicated.build enthusiasm and support...the difference being..his was not just rhetoric..the foundation was laid..via the universities..tomorrows kids futures.
To a scientist that has been isolated for so long with his band of 30 merry men..it must also be a breath of fresh air to be able to link up now with western experienced scientists,from an engineering point of view a state of the art plant better then the best in China.Two of the best rare earth teams in the world unite.

Deshalb habe ich das Risiko bei LYC mittlerweile deutlich reduziert und in GWG umgeschichtet.

Mir kommt es so vor, als ob GWG dort ist, wo Lynas vor etlichen Jahren schon war.
Bis GWG Cashflow generiert, ist GWG schon längst in der LYNAS-Group integriert.
BTW: Wer wird eigentlich CEO bei GWG? Der Alte verlässt das Schiff, wie ich gelesen habe. Erstaunlich, wo die Arbeit doch gerade erst beginnt ... vielleicht kann ja NC den Job noch übernehmen ...
Nix für ungut. Kann sein, dass GWG ein guter Laden ist, an dem man noch seinen Spaß hat. Wäre mir allemal lieber, dort drin gewesen zu sein als in Arafura. Die Posi dort hat mich einiges gekostet. Wobei - rein kursmäßig schaut GWG auch grottenschlecht aus muss man sagen. So werden auch dort Durchhalteparolen ausgegeben ... naja, das kennen wir ja aus allen Threads, gell!
