MONTREAL, Nov. 14, 2023 - Aya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX: AYA) is pleased to announce interim financial and operational results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2023. All amounts are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
Operational and Financial:
- Silver production of 519,085 ounces in Q3-2023, a 15% increase from Q3-2022;
- Recovery was 86.6% in Q3-2023, compared to 86.2% in Q3-2022;
- 70,258 tonnes of ore were processed in Q3-2023 compared to 69,697t in Q3-2022;
- Revenue of $11.7 million in Q3-2023, a 63% increase from Q3-2022;
- Cash cost of $10.73 per oz in Q3-2023 compared to $14.03 per oz in Q3-2022;
- Operating cash flow of $7.7 million in Q3-2023, a 35% increase compared to Q3-2022;
- Robust financial position with $71 million of cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash compared to $42 million at December 31, 2022

Aya Gold & Silver Reports Recoveries of 89% Silver and 85% Gold from Metallurgy Test Work on Boumadine
MONTREAL, Nov. 9, 2023 - Aya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX: AYA) is pleased to announce robust results from recent metallurgical test work on its Boumadine Project. The Corporation envisions a two-step process which includes a flotation stage followed by an oxidation and leaching stage. Total recoveries of 89% for silver ("Ag"), 85% for gold ("Au"), 85% for lead ("Pb") and 72% for zinc ("Zn") were obtained.
Results reported below are from a two-step process: Phase I via a flotation circuit, and Phase II processing using the Albion Process and cyanide leaching as follows:
Phase I:
flotation achieved Pb and Zn recoveries, and partial recoveries of Au and Ag: Pb and Zn sellable concentrates were produced.
To reduce mass pull, capital investment and operating costs, a sulfur-rich pyrite concentrate containing most of the remaining Au and Ag was produced.
Phase II:
amenability test work assessed four separate potential oxidation processes - roasting, pressure-oxidation ("POX"), Albion Process, and biological oxidation ("BIOx"): Using the Albion Process, a total of 89% Ag and 85% Au were recovered from Boumadine.
The Albion Process delivered the highest recoveries and was selected for its proven operational robustness and cost effectiveness. Test work also indicated further sulfide oxidation through increased limestone dosage and finer grind.
Next steps include refining the metallurgy work and evaluation of key reagents and input parameters.

Einer seiner Gründe ist signifikantes kurzfristiges Wachstum und ein noch größeres Wachstum des freien Cashflows, da das Unternehmen im ersten Quartal 2024 eine große Erweiterung abschließt, wodurch die Produktion um 1,8 Mio. oz Ag auf eine Run-Rate von 6,7-7,2 Mio. oz. Ag pro Jahr bei niedrigeren AISC steigt.

Bin jetzt hier stärker gewichtet drin, ich bin bullish für silver und möchte möglichst viele silver producer ins Depot packen, Problem dabei ist allerdings ein Cluster-Risiko Mexico!

- Aya has a large silver deposit at its Zgounder mine and is drilling a second project (Boumadine) with potential for another large silver discovery.
one of the more safer jurisdictions in Africa.
PM miners with strong risk-reward profiles. Aya is one of those.
Zgounder is a large silver project (100 million oz at 300 gpt) producing about 2 million oz a year. They plan to increase production to 8 million oz in Q2 2024 at Zgounder. The capex was $140 million, and construction began in 2022 (about 50% completed). Zgounder deposit is growing in size from high-grade drill results. They have released one good drill hole after another.
96 million oz of M&I at 300 gpt, and 70 million oz of reserves.
Amizmiz (100%), their gold project, also has significant potential. It is a 350,000 oz resource at 13 gpt. That is a very good grade, and they think they can find a lot more. Plus, they have another gold project in Mauritania (Tijirit), although it currently is only 200,000 oz.
Boumadine (85% ownership) is a past producing mine (1992) with 25 million oz of silver, and growing in size. They think Boumadine could be as large as Zgounder. A PEA was recently completed that was very favorable. The PEA had an IRR of over 100%. It has a low capex of under $50 million to produce around 3 million oz AG per year.
Cash: $49 million
Debt: $100 million
Current Silver Resources: 125 million oz at 300 gpt (AG)
Current Silver Production: 1.8 million oz. (AG)
Current AISC: $18 oz
