Info´s.
Bei Donner - bis heute - keine Antwort.

      Hello together,
together ? are you still more than one person ? are you still alive ?

O.k. - I´m just kidding, but seriously folks:
It`s no fun to be a shareholder of your company.
The latest news are a long time ago.
So - could you give some positiv prospects to your shareholders ?
or did we back the wrong horse ?

Please be good enough to tell us the currently prospects for the company and therewith for the shareholders.
I`m sorry to bother you, but I´m shilly-shally what we shall do with our shares.
Also you keep us waiting about the Donner Petroleum Ltd. Registered Shares (CA2578761025) -
they are still not booked into our securities deposit account.

Many thanks in advance! - for a straight answer.

      With best regards from germany

Donner and Falconbridge to Jointly Explore Matagami Camp

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 12, 2006) - Harvey Keats, President of Donner Metals Ltd. ("MetalsCo")-(TSX VENTURE : DON)(FWB : D4M), announces that Donner has entered into an Option and Joint Venture Agreement (OJVA) with Falconbridge Limited for the joint exploration of the Matagami Mining Camp of Quebec for volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits (VMS). The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,737 square kilometres and presently includes 2,045 mineral claims covering 477 square kilometres. Taking advantage of Falconbridge's extensive historical database, Donner and Falconbridge plan to use a combination of 3D data integration, innovative advanced technologies, new concepts and diamond drilling to explore for new deposits in this prolific mining camp.

The Matagami Mining Camp is a world-class mining district, with 18 known VMS deposits, including 10 past producers of varying sizes, including the giant Mattagami Lake deposit (25.64 million tonnes of 8.2% Zn, 0.56% Cu, 20.91 g/t Ag and 0.41 g/t Au) discovered in 1957 and mined from 1963 to 1988. The area is host to historical production of 8.6 billion pounds of Zn and 853 million pounds of Cu and has established infrastructure including the town of Matagami, a railway, a paved road, and a 2,350 t/day mill owned by Falconbridge.

The development of new exploration techniques and concepts has led directly to numerous discoveries in the Matagami Mining Camp. In 1957, as a result of the newly developed airborne EM system, the Matagami Lake deposit was discovered and within the next two and a half years, six more major deposits were identified. Between 1985 and 1992, four new deposits were discovered, and in 1999 a new EM system was flown over the Matagami camp, which led to the discovery of the Perseverance deposits in 2000. Falconbridge has published a measured and indicated resource at Perseverance of 5.12 million tonnes of 15.82% Zn, 1.24% Cu, 29.00 g/t Ag and 0.38 g/t Au.

Proximity of the Matagami Project to past producers and existing deposits does not provide any assurance that economic mineralization exists on the Matagami Project, however past production and recent discoveries in the camp demonstrate the potential for additional discoveries.

Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $20 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Donner is required to incur a minimum of $4 million of expenditures per year and a firm commitment expenditure of $10 million. In the event that a discovery is made during the option period, Donner will contribute a one-time additional expenditure of $3 million towards establishing an inferred resource on the new discovery. Donner has also agreed to issue to Falconbridge 1,000,000 Donner shares.

Upon the expenditure of $20 million by Donner, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Falconbridge has the option to earn back a 15% interest in such area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.

Falconbridge will have the right to designate the facilities at which all ore produced from the property will be concentrated, and will have the right to purchase the concentrates or other mineral products from the property at market rates.

Falconbridge will be the Operator during the earn-in period and will be the initial Operator under the joint venture. Falconbridge will be entitled to charge a 10% operator fee in addition to the $20 million expenditure requirement during the option period.

The initial work program is being finalized, however based on the expenditure requirements, it is expected that diamond drilling will continue practically year round.

In order to meet its commitments under the OJVA, Donner will be required to seek additional financing. The OJVA is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

      JANUARY 15, 2007 - 12:42 ET

Donner Petroleum Announces Results of Meeting

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 15, 2007) - Donner Petroleum Ltd. (the"Corporation") is pleased to announce that its shareholders voted in favour of changing the name of the Corporation to Crocotta Energy Inc. ("Crocotta") and consolidating the common shares of the Corporation on a 13.5135 to 1 basis. Shareholders also voted in favour of adopting a new stock option plan, changing the outstanding non-voting shares into common shares on a 1 for 1 basis and creating new classes of special voting shares and preferred shares.

Crocotta currently has 23.9 million common shares outstanding and working capital of approximately $13.5 million. In addition, Crocotta has a put and call obligation agreement to issue an additional 6.1 million common shares at $1.00 per share for proceeds of $6.1 million. If exercised, Crocotta would have 30.0 million shares outstanding and working capital of approximately $19.6 million.

Crocotta has production of approximately 100 boepd plus undeveloped land and farm-in acreage totalling 24,000 acres. Crocotta's properties are focused in West Central Alberta, Southern Alberta Foothills and Northeast B.C. Crocotta has started an active drilling program on its properties and will also look to expand its operations through additional acquisitions and farm-ins.

Boe's may be misleading, particularly if used in isolation. A BOE conversion ratio of 6 Mcf: 1 Bbl is based on an energy equivalency conversion method primarily applicable at the burner tip and does not represent a value equivalency at the wellhead.

Donner Metals Ltd.: New Zinc-Copper Discovery at Matagami

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 19, 2007) - Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FWB:D4M), announces a new discovery of zinc and copper-bearing massive sulphide in three holes at Bracemac on the Matagami Project, Quebec. Massive sulphide in BRC-06-26 averages 9.12% zinc and 1.21% copper over 16 metres and massive sulphide in BRC-06-27 averages 13.98% zinc and 3.69% copper over 8.8 metres. Assays from massive sulphide in BRC-07-28 are pending.

Drilling has also intersected 8.6% zinc and 0.14% copper over 2.2 metres in massive sulphide at Bell Channel, approximately 10 kilometres north of Bracemac.

Details of the work completed to date are described in the assay tables included in this news release. (To view the attached tables, please click on the following link: http://www.ccnmatthews.com/docs/Donner.pdf)

The discovery at Bracemac was made at the Upper Tuffite in mafic volcanics approximately 220 metres stratigraphically above the Key Tuffite. The Key Tuffite occurs at the top of the Watson Lake felsic volcanics, the main productive horizon in the Matagami camp. No mineralization of economic significance has been intersected in the Key Tuffite in this drill program. However, the discovery demonstrates the potential for stacked mineralization in the Matagami camp and validates the multidisciplinary approach employed on the project.

Since the beginning of the 45,000 metre drill program, a total of eight new holes were completed, two historic holes were deepened and one new hole abandoned, for a total of approximately 6,600 metres. Drilling in holes completed to date has concentrated on the Bracemac, Bell Channel and Cold Spring areas. A third drill has now been added to the Matagami Project, and drilling continues.

      Bracemac

Drilling at Bracemac is designed to test favourable stratigraphy, widespread alteration in both the Key Tuffite and Upper Tuffite horizons and to follow-up narrow historical mineralized intersections. The exploration program targets sulphide mineralization at both the Key Tuffite and Upper Tuffite levels as well as pipe-style mineralization (for example Perseverance) that can occur within the footwall of both horizons.

To date, there have been four new holes and one deepened hole drilled at Bracemac. BRC-06-26, BRC-06-27 and BRC-07-28 all intersected zinc and copper-bearing massive sulphide as well as other sulphide zones.

The 13.98% zinc and 3.69% copper over 8.8 metres in BRC-06-27 is 50 metres down-dip of 9.12% zinc and 1.21% copper over 16 metres in BRC-06-26. The massive sulphide with assays pending in BRC-07-28 is 50 metres along strike to the east of the massive sulphide in BRC-06-26.

Current and historical drilling, as well as down-hole geophysics limit the dip extent of the zone to approximately 120 metres. Historical drilling and interpretation of downhole geophysics limit the western extension of the mineralized zone. Interpretation of down-hole geophysics collected to date appears to limit the eastern strike extension of mineralization where the targeted horizon is much less densely drilled.

      Bell Channel

Drilling at Bell Channel was designed to test geological targets as well as surface DEEPEM and downhole PulseEM targets within the productive North Flank, Key Tuffite stratigraphy. The 8.6% zinc and 0.14% copper over 2.2 in BC-06-30 occurs inside a thick gabbro sill. However there is an off-hole anomaly associated with the mineralization and the intersection indicates the potential for massive sulphide in the adjacent volcanic rocks.

      Cold Spring

Two holes were drilled to test MegaTEM targets at Cold Spring on an interpreted eastern extension of the South Flank felsic volcanics. The holes did not intersect felsic volcanics or significant economic mineralization.

Donner Metals Ltd.: Additional Assays From the New Bracemac Zinc-Copper Discovery at Matagami

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 30, 2007) - Further to the Company's news release dated January 19, 2007, Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FWB:D4M), reports that assays from drill hole BRC-07-28, returned an average of 9.83% zinc and 0.98% copper over 6.90 metres; including 9.8% zinc and 0.84% copper over 2.95 metres and 14.39% zinc and 1.36% copper over 2.65 metres in massive sulphides.

Drill hole BRC-07-28 is a 50 metre step-out to the east of the massive sulphides intersected in BRC-06-26 that returned an average of 9.12% zinc and 1.21% copper over 16 metres and BRC-06-27 that returned an average of 13.98% zinc and 3.69% copper over 8.8 metres (see news release dated January 19, 2007). Details of BRC-07-28 are provided in the table included in this news release.

Under the terms of the Matagami Project Option and Joint Venture Agreement with Xstrata Zinc Canada (Xstrata Zinc), in the event that a discovery is made during the option period, Donner must contribute a one-time additional expenditure to a maximum of $3 million towards establishing an inferred resource on the new discovery or discoveries. This clause in the agreement has now been triggered and ongoing exploration expenditures at Bracemac will be applied toward this requirement.

Drilling continues with three rigs as part of a 45,000 metre drill program.

Donner Metals Ltd.: Continued Success at Matagami-Second New Zinc-Copper Discovery at Bracemac

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLOMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 5, 2007) - Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FRANKFURT:D4M), announces continued success at Bracemac on the Matagami Project, Quebec, including a new discovery of massive sulphide in a separate mineralized horizon. In the Bracemac Zone (previously termed the upper tuffite "UT"), BRC-07-30 intersected massive sulphide grading 8.95% zinc and 1.17% copper over 9.9 metres and BRC-07-32 intersected 16.25 metres of massive sulphide within a 21.3 metre interval, including a total of 4.3 metres of barren mafic dykes. Assays are pending.

In addition, a new sulphide horizon, the "Upper Bracemac Zone", has been discovered in BRC-07-30 that intersected semi-massive sulphide grading 10.08% zinc and 0.49% copper over 2.3 metres and in BRC-07-31 that intersected 12.13% zinc and 0.70% copper over 9.3 metres in massive sulphide. This new zone is 90 metres above the Bracemac Zone.

Details of the work completed since the last press release (January 30, 2007) are described below and in the assay tables included in this news release. All interval lengths are reported as "core lengths". True lengths (true widths) are anticipated to be 80% to 90% of the core lengths.

In the process of follow-up drilling to the initial discovery in the Bracemac Zone where BRC-06-26 returned 9.12% zinc and 1.21% copper over 16 metres, BRC-06-27 returned 13.98% zinc and 3.69% copper over 8.8 metres and BRC-07-28 returned 9.83% zinc and 0.98% copper over 6.90 (see previous press releases dated January 19 and 30, 2007 respectively), additional massive and semi-massive sulphides were discovered in the Upper Bracemac mineralized tuffite. This new tuffite horizon is hosted in mafic volcanic rocks approximately 90 metres above the Bracemac Zone tuffite which in turn is 350 metres above the Key Tuffite. The Key Tuffite is the main productive horizon in the Matagami Camp. Mineralization has not yet been intersected at the Key Tuffite in the immediate Bracemac area however strong chlorite alteration "Pipe" facies alteration have been intersected in and below the Key Tuffite in the vicinity of Bracemac. This alteration and the discoveries of two new sulphide-bearing horizons continue to demonstrate that significant base metal sulphides can occur in at least three stratigraphic intervals in the Matagami Camp.

Four (4) new holes are reported from Bracemac with an additional historical hole deepened to the Key Tuffite. Drilling has also been conducted on the Galinee 14 area located 6 kilometres Southeast of Bracemac, where 4 drill holes have been completed and in the DJV area located 2.7 kilometres north of the Perseverance Deposit where 2 drill holes have also been completed. A single drill hole was completed on the CPT Target 16 kilometres southeast of Bracemac. A total of 11,674 metres have been drilled of the planned 45,000 metre drill program. Three drills are active on the property and drilling continues.

      Bracemac

Drilling at Bracemac continues to test the recently discovered Bracemac Zone where mineralization occurs on a well defined tuffite horizon, as well as to investigate the Key Tuffite. The new discovery of massive and semi-massive in the Upper Bracemac Zone, also a tuffite horizon, was made during drill investigation of the Bracemac Zone and in follow-up of borehole EM responses identified higher in the stratigraphic package. The Bracemac Zone is located approximately 350 metres above the Key Tuffite and the new Upper Bracemac horizon occurs approximately 90 metres above the Bracemac Zone. Within the Bracemac area, mineralization has been encountered in stacked tuffite sequences in both these horizons. At the Key Tuffite horizon, strong chlorite alteration is present in the footwall in areas below both Bracemac zones. Historical drill hole BRC-95-9 intersected pervasive "Pipe" facies alteration (intense chlorite, talc alteration + stringer sulphides) at the Key Tuffite 230 metres east of Bracemac. The alteration in the Key Tuffite continues in a number of historical holes towards the McLeod area 1.2 kilometres southeast of Bracemac. This type of alteration is typically found proximal to mineralization at the Key Tuffite horizon elsewhere in the camp. These results strongly support the presence of multiple, stacked exhalite horizons with potential for sulphide development throughout the Matagami Camp and particularly in the Bracemac area.

BRC-07-30 and BRC-07-32 intersected zinc and copper-bearing massive sulphide in the Bracemac Zone, whereas BRC-07-29 and BRC-07-31 did not intersect sulphides at this level. They did intersect significant alteration and stringer mineralization immediately below the Bracemac Zone.

The 8.95% zinc and 1.17% copper over 9.9 metres in BRC-07-30 is 50 metres up-dip of BRC-06-28 that returned 9.83% zinc and 0.98% copper over 6.90 metres. BRC-07-31 was drilled 50 metres up dip of BRC-07-30. Drill hole BRC-07-29 was drilled 100 metres down dip of BRC-07-28. The 21.3 metres of massive sulphide encountered in BRC-07-32 was intersected 50 metres west of BRC-06-27. To date, 5 drill holes have intersected massive sulphide in the Bracemac Zone (BRC-06-26 and BRC-06-27; BRC-07-28, BRC-07-30 and BRC-07-32) at roughly 50 metre spacings.

New mineralization was discovered approximately 90 metres above the Bracemac Zone in the new Upper Bracemac Zone where the initial discovery was made in BRC-07-30 that returned 10.08% zinc and 0.49% copper over 2.3 metres. BRC-07-31 drilled 50 metres up-dip from this intersection returned 12.30% zinc and 0.70 % copper over 9.3 metres. This zone is open up-dip and to the east of these two intersections.

      Galinee 14

Drilling at Galinee 14 tested a well developed alteration zone characterized by pervasive chlorite with stringer sulphides (pyrrhotite, pyrite, sphalerite and chalcopyrite) and local "pipe-style" alteration. EM conductors are coincident with this zone. Hole GAL-07-04 intersected semi-massive sulphide grading 1.12 % Cu over 1.1 metres within the chlorite zone confirming the prospectivity of this area. Of the remaining holes, two intersected large intervals of chlorite alteration and one was drilled into a felsic intrusion. Results indicate the zone is developed over a 500 metre strike length and it is open in both directions. The interpreted stratigraphic position equates to the Bracemac stratigraphic level.

      CPT

One hole was drilled to test a MegaTEM anomaly. The target was explained by centimetric massive pyrrhotite-pyrite veins with traces of chalcopyrite and sphalerite within brecciated rhyolite.

      DJV

Two holes were drilled to test MT geophysical anomalies and geological interpretation of a block of down-dropped Key Tuffite stratigraphy. The Key Tuffite (KT) horizon was not intersected. Felsic rocks intersected in both drill holes are interpreted to be in the hanging wall to this horizon.

      About the Matagami Project

The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,737 square kilometres and presently includes 2,138 mineral claims covering 499 square kilometres. Taking advantage of Xstrata Zinc's extensive historical database, Donner and Xstrata Zinc Canada (Xstrata Zinc) are using a combination of 3D data integration, innovative advanced technologies, new concepts and diamond drilling to explore for new deposits in this prolific mining camp.

The area is host to historical production of 8.6 billion pounds of Zn and 853 million pounds of Cu and has established infrastructure including the town of Matagami, a railway, a paved road, and a 2,350 t/day mill owned by Xstrata Zinc.

Throughout the Camp, mineralization occurs as bedded and pinnacle sulphides at the Key Tuffite (e.g. Mattagami and Bell Allard Deposits) as well as vertical cone-shaped sulphide bodies hosted within the "Alteration Pipe" that occurs immediately below the Key Tuffite (e.g. Perseverance). Multiple, stacked mineralized zones and associated alteration pipes are now demonstrated (e.g. Bracemac). "Alteration Pipes" are identified by two styles of alteration; strong chlorite developed proximal to the hydrothermal vents and "Pipe style" characterized by intense chlorite with quartz stringers and local talc indicating the core of the hydrothermal vent system.

Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $20 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Upon the expenditure of $20 million by Donner, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Xstrata Zinc has the option to earn back a 15% interest in such area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.

      Supplementary Information

The field work on the Matagami Project is being carried out by project operator Xstrata Zinc Canada who are responsible for the sampling QAQC and submittal of samples for assay. Assaying of samples reported in this news release was carried out and certified by ALS Chemex-Chimitec, of Val D'Or, Quebec (zinc, copper and silver by atomic absorption, and gold by standard fire assay procedures). Sample preparation was done by ALS Chemex of Val D'Or, Quebec. Robin Adair, VP of Exploration for the Company is the Qualified Person responsible for the technical information in this news release.

Donner Metals Ltd.: Copper-Rich Massive Sulphides Intersected in BRC-07-32 in the Bracemac Zone

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 10, 2007) - Further to the Company's news release dated March 5, 2007, Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FRANKFURT:D4M), reports that assays from previously described drill hole BRC-07-32 returned an average of 1.98% copper and 2.99% zinc over a 21.25 metre interval. The interval is comprised of 17.05 metres of massive sulphide averaging 2.47% copper, 3.72% zinc with 4.20 metres of internal barren dykes. This interval is underlain by an extensive alteration/stringer zone encountered over a 120.55 metre interval immediately below the sulphide horizon.

Drill hole BRC-07-32 is a 50 metre step-out to the west of the massive sulphides intersected in BRC-06-27 that returned an average of 13.98% zinc and 3.69% copper over 8.8 metres (see news release dated January 19, 2007). Metal zonation, typical of VMS deposits, is clearly demonstrated in the results of the five reported intersections in the Bracemac Zone (see news release dated January 19, 2007, January 30, 2007 and March 5, 2007). Details of BRC-07-32 are provided in the table included in this news release.

Ongoing drilling at Bracemac is designed to outline the recently discovered Bracemac Zone and Upper Bracemac Zone in addition to testing the Key Tuffite, the historically productive horizon in the Matagami Mining Camp.

      About the Matagami Project

Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project from Xstrata Zinc Canada (Xstrata Zinc) by incurring $20 million of expenditures, plus an additional one time discovery bonus of up to $3 million in additional exploration expenditures, on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Upon exercising the option, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Xstrata Zinc has the option to earn back a 15% interest in such area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.

The Matagami Mining Camp is a world-class mining district, with 18 known VMS deposits, including 10 past producers of varying sizes, including the giant Mattagami Lake deposit (25.64 million tonnes of 8.2% Zn, 0.56% Cu, 20.91 g/t Ag and 0.41 g/t Au).

      Supplementary Information

The field work on the Matagami Project is being carried out by project operator Xstrata Zinc. Xstrata Zinc is responsible for the sampling and submittal of samples for assay.

Knight res: 70 mio shares, MKP 22 mio C$
      Donner: 39 mio shares, MKP 15mio C$

      Enjoy,

Donner Metals Ltd.: Bracemac Yields Additional Results With New Mineralization Identified at the Productive Key Tuffite Horizon Below the Bracemac Zones
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 6, 2007) - Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FRANKFURT:D4M), announces new results from the Bracemac Area on the Matagami Project, Quebec, and a new discovery of massive sulphide at the Key Tuffite Horizon below the Upper Bracemac/Bracemac Zones.

In the Upper Bracemac Zone, BRC-07-35 intersected two massive sulphide intervals grading 36.70% zinc and 0.05% copper over 0.65 metres and 10.70% zinc and 0.41% copper over 2.8 metres. BRC-07-39 intersected 3.5 metres grading 9.02% zinc and 0.56% copper. The intersections are 60 and 103 metres vertically below surface respectively.

Additionally, a drill test below the Bracemac Zones intersected the first indication of significant mineralization at the Key Tuffite horizon where BRC-07-38 intersected mineralized Key Tuffite over 2.6 metres, including a massive and semi-massive interval that graded 11.41% zinc and 0.26% copper over 1.3 metres, 230 metres below surface.

Reported results show a continued trend of mineralization towards surface in the Upper Bracemac Zone while delineation of the Bracemac Zone suggests an elongate trend that extends down-dip and down-plunge. Drilling is continuing where practical during break-up.

The intersection of massive sulphides at the Key Tuffite Horizon below Bracemac and Upper Bracemac is significant because it is a positive indicator of vertically stacked mineralizing activity at three levels, including the Key Tuffite horizon that hosts the majority of the deposits in the Matagami Camp. It is important to note that vertically stacked horizons can be exploited by single development infrastructure, providing a significant savings in development costs.

The Company's strategy is to explore for and discover Zinc - Copper deposits in the Matagami Camp and to leverage existing processing facilities within a known and well-established cost structure for developing VMS deposits. Donner's exploration objective is to investigate multiple stratigraphic horizons with potential for VMS mineralization including the prolific Key Tuffite horizon throughout the Matagami Camp. Donner has discovered new mineralization at the Bracemac and Upper Bracemac levels and now reports an additional discovery in the Key Tuffite immediately below the Bracemac Zone discoveries.

Work completed since the last press release (April 3, 2007) includes the completion of seven drill holes and one hole deepening in the Bracemac area leading up to break-up which has limited access to planned drill collar locations. A total of 20,500 metres have been drilled of the planned 45,000 metre drill program. Three drills are active on the Matagami property with two drills active at Bracemac and one drill active at McLeod where results will be forthcoming.

      Bracemac Area

Delineation continues on both of the new discoveries in the Bracemac and Upper Bracemac Zones, as well as an investigation of the Key Tuffite in the Bracemac area. Break-up has limited access to some planned drill set-ups and these holes will be drilled once surface conditions improve.

The sulphide intersections in diamond drill hole BRC-07-35 and BRC-07-39 continue to expand the Upper Bracemac Zone that extends 125 metres along plunge, trending towards surface, with a lateral extent of 50 to 60 metres. Drill hole BRC-07-35 was drilled 35 metres up-dip and to the east of drill hole BRC-07-31 that intersected 12.13% zinc and 0.7% copper over 9.3 metres. Drill hole BRC-07-39 was drilled 50 metres east and up-dip from drill hole BRC-07-30 that intersected 10.08% zinc, 0.49% copper over 2.3 metres and 25 metres down-dip of BRC 07-31 described above. BRC-07-33 was drilled 50 metres due east of BRC-07-31 and BRC-07-37 was drilled a further 100 metres due east of BRC-07-33.

In the Bracemac Zone, drill hole BRC-07-36 intersected 0.91% copper over 4.75 metres. This hole was drilled 60 metres to the west and down-dip of BRC-07-32 that returned 1.98% copper and 2.99% zinc over 21.25 metres. All of the drill holes designed to test the Upper Bracemac Zone also tested the up-dip portion of the Bracemac Zone where the extent of mineralization is now limited. The Bracemac Zone remains open down-dip, and down-plunge as well as to the east and west of known mineralization. Presently, the Bracemac Zone extends over approximately 200 metres in the plunge extent and between 20 and 100 metres in the lateral extent.

A significant mineralized interval at the Key Tuffite was discovered by BRC-07-38 that intersected 11.41% zinc and 0.26% copper at a vertical depth of 230 metres. This intersection occurs immediately below mineralization in the Bracemac zones and is open in all directions. In addition, BRC-86-4 EXT-W was drilled to test the Key Tuffite at a vertical depth of 900 metres and intersected weak mineralization at the targeted horizon.

      West Camp

Three reconnaissance holes were drilled 50 kilometers west of Matagami to test Mag and EM (VTEM) geophysical anomalies in an area with geological potential to contain Matagami-type VMS Mineralization. Two of the three holes intersected weakly mineralized graphitic sediments (pyrite and pyrrhotite) within a sequence of felsic volcanic rocks. The third hole intersected weakly mineralized felsic volcanic rocks (pyrrhotite).

The Matagami Mining Camp is a world-class mining district, with 18 known VMS deposits, including 10 past producers of varying sizes, including the giant Matagami Deposit (25.64 million tonnes of 8.2% Zn, 0.56% Cu, 20.91 g/t Ag and 0.41 g/t Au) discovered in 1957 and mined from 1963 to 1988.

Matagami and Bell Allard Deposits) as well as vertical cone-shaped sulphide bodies hosted within the "Alteration Pipe" that occurs immediately below the Key Tuffite (e.g.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 29.680.614 von SOSSektOderSelters am 07.06.07 10:47:15Na das ist ja ein dickes Ei!

In the Upper Bracemac Zone, BRC-07-35 intersected two massive sulphide intervals grading 36.70% zinc and 0.05% copper over 0.65 metres and 10.70% zinc and 0.41% copper over 2.8 metres

Donner has discovered new mineralization at the Bracemac and Upper Bracemac levels and now reports an additional discovery in the Key Tuffite immediately below the Bracemac Zone discoveries.

Donner Metals Ltd.: New Zinc-Copper Discovery Grading 9.24% Zinc, 0.99% Copper Over 27.95 Metres at the McLeod Area, Matagami
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 14, 2007) - Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FRANKFURT:D4M), announces the discovery of new, zinc - copper massive sulphide mineralization at the Key Tuffite horizon and in a second horizon 150 metres above the Key Tuffite in the McLeod area of the Matagami project (details listed in the attached table).

MC-05-18W2 intersected 9.24% zinc and 0.99% copper over 27.95 metres, including 26.08% zinc and 2.23% copper over 4.79 metres and 26.08% zinc and 0.29% copper over 3.9 metres. It is a wedge hole that intersected this mineralization at the Key Tuffite at a vertical depth below surface of 820 metres, 100 metres up-dip from historical drill hole MC-05-18 that intersected 22.7% zinc and 0.46% copper over 0.85 metres, also at the Key Tuffite.

MC-07-22 intersected 19.3% zinc and 1.32% copper over 5.04 metres at a vertical depth of 735 metres. This intersection is 100 metres directly up-dip from MC-05-18W2 at the Key Tuffite.

MC-07-24 intersected massive sulphide mineralization associated with an upper tuffite, 150 metres stratigraphically above the Key Tuffite, that returned 6.83% zinc and 1.62% copper over 2.3 metres. This mineralization is underlain by an alteration pipe with sulphide stringers and associated intense chlorite alteration that returned 2.25% copper over 2.0 metres. The massive sulphide mineralization and the alteration pipe suggest the development of a second mineralized horizon in the McLeod area 150 metres above the Key Tuffite. This drill hole was continued to the Key Tuffite where it intersected weak mineralization (pyrite), 300 metres west of MC-07-22.

Drill Hole MC-07-21 and MC-07-23 targeted a down-hole EM anomaly at the Key Tuffite 500 metres below surface and 350 metres up dip and to the west of MC-07-22. Strong chlorite alteration immediately below the Key Tuffite was encountered in MC-07-21 and MC-07-23 intersected very intense and locally mineralized chlorite alteration at, and below, the Key Tuffite.

The new sulphide zone indicated by the results from MC-05-18W2 and MC-07-22 is 200 metres down-dip from a historical mineralized zone at the Key Tuffite level that returned 3.66% zinc and 0.28% copper over 13.3 metres in MC-04-04; 11.25% zinc and 2.04% copper over 14.05 metres in MC-04-07 and 1.14% zinc and 2.38% copper over 13.2 metres in MC-04-08. The new sulphide zone is open towards this mineralization and is also open laterally and down plunge where the next nearest historical drilling is at a minimum distance of 300 metres.

The McLeod area is located approximately 5 kilometres southeast of the Matagami mill and 1 kilometre southeast of intersections previously reported from the Bracemac area. These new results were returned from an initial five hole program (MC-05-18-wedge and MC-07-21 to 25). The program is designed to investigate an extensive chlorite alteration system at, and immediately below, the Key Tuffite that was previously encountered by wide-spaced historical drilling in the McLeod area where the Key Tuffite marker horizon is well developed and dips at 70 degrees to the south west.

Drilling is continuing with 3300 metres drilled to date at the McLeod area.

      Matagami Camp Geology

Throughout the Matagami Camp, mineralization occurs in multiple deposits as bedded and pinnacle massive sulphides at the laterally extensive, Key Tuffite stratigraphic level (e.g. Mattagami and Bell Allard deposits) immediately overlying \"Alteration Pipes\" that represent the conduit through which the mineralizing hydrothermal fluids rose to the sea floor and precipitated the massive sulphides as well as the much more extensive Key Tuffite (silica). Massive sulphides are now known to also occur as vertical, cone-shaped sulphide bodies hosted within the \"Alteration Pipe\" (e.g. Perseverance). Multiple, stacked mineralized zones and associated alteration pipes above the Key Tuffite are now demonstrated (e.g. Bracemac and Upper Bracemac) where massive sulphides can occur within tuffites developed at higher stratigraphic levels, likely from ongoing hydrothermal systems that were active over long periods of time. \"Alteration Pipes\" are typified by two styles of alteration: 1) \"Pipe style\" - characterized by intense chlorite, quartz and sulphide stringers (chalcopyrite, sphalerite, pyrite and pyrrhotite) with local talc, indicating the core of the hydrothermal vent system and, 2) strong chlorite developed proximal to the hydrothermal vents. The vents occur along structural corridors.

      About the Matagami Project

The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,737 square kilometres and presently includes 2,138 mineral claims covering 499 square kilometres. Taking advantage of Xstrata Zinc\'s extensive historical database, Donner and Xstrata Zinc Canada (Xstrata Zinc) are using a combination of 3D data integration, innovative advanced technologies, new concepts and diamond drilling to explore for new deposits in this prolific mining camp.

The area is host to historical production of 8.6 billion pounds of Zn and 853 million pounds of Cu and has established infrastructure including the town of Matagami, a railway, a paved road, and a 2,350 t/day mill owned by Xstrata Zinc.

Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $20 to $23 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Upon the expenditure of $20 million by Donner, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Xstrata Zinc has the option to earn back a 15% interest in each area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.

The Company\'s strategy is to explore for and discover zinc - copper deposits in the Matagami Camp and to leverage existing processing facilities within a known and well-established cost structure for developing VMS deposits. Donner\'s exploration objective is to investigate multiple stratigraphic horizons with potential for VMS mineralization including the prolific Key Tuffite horizon throughout the Matagami Camp. Donner has discovered new mineralization at the Bracemac and Upper Bracemac levels, recently reported a new discovery in the Key Tuffite immediately below the Bracemac Zones and now reports an additional discovery in the McLeod area at the Key Tuffite.

      Supplementary Information

The field work on the Matagami Project is being carried out by project operator Xstrata Zinc Canada who are responsible for the sampling, QAQC and submittal of samples for assay. Assaying of samples reported in this news release was carried out and certified by ALS Chemex-Chimitec, of Val D\'Or, Quebec (zinc, copper and silver by atomic absorption, and gold by standard fire assay procedures). Sample preparation was done by ALS Chemex of Val D\'Or, Quebec. View Power Point Presentation in the bottom left hand corner.

Mcleod discovery is open in several directions. Looks like there is room for over 2 million tons at +10% zinc.

GOLDEN CHALICE RESOURCES INC.)
      D.H. Faktor 10
Dann wäre die MArket Cap von Donner
      4 Mio x 10 = 40 Mio EUR
      + 7 Mio Donner Eigenwert
      =47 Mio EUR

Bei 39 Mio Aktien wären das dann EUR 1,20 je Aktie !!

Also: Knight Faktor 10 macht bei Donner Faktor 4.

The Crocotta shares are not currently listed on a stock exchange but will be in the near future. We have applied to the Toronto Stock Exchange TSX. The value of the last financing was $1.25 per share so that is the best estimate of fair market value. The majority of your value as an original Donner Minerals shareholder would have gone into Donner Metals as this was the continuing mining company and Donner Petroleum was an inactive company worth very little for a year.

      8/2/2007

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Aug 02, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: DON) reports significant results from delineation drilling at both Bracemac and McLeod. At Bracemac, high-grade massive sulphides have been intersected in three drill holes that tested the Key Tuffite Horizon, the horizon that hosts the major deposits of the Matagami mining camp. At McLeod, high-grade massive sulphides have been intersected in three drill holes, also at the Key Tuffite stratigraphic level. McLeod is located approximately 1 kilometre southeast of Bracemac which is located 4 kilometres southeast of Xstrata's Matagami mill.

Details of the new drill results are reported in the attached Table 1. A summary of important intersections reported in 2007 at both Bracemac and McLeod are presented in Table 2. Additional geological information, including maps and sections, on both areas is available at www.donnermetals.com. Twelve holes have been completed on the Matagami Project since the Company's news release dated June 14, 2007 for a total of 6310 metres of drilling. Three drills are active on the Matagami Project.

      Bracemac

The two new intersections encountered in BRC-07-46 and BRC-07-47 indicate a substantial thickness of high grade massive sulphides at the Key Tuffite level. Encouragement was initially encountered at the Key Tuffite level in previously reported BRC-07-38 (11.41% zinc over 1.3 metres) (see News Release dated June 6, 2007) and in BRC-07-42 which intersected 9.09% zinc over 2.0 metres with an off-hole EM response that lead to the discovery of the thicker sulphide intervals in BRC-07-46 and 47. BRC-07-42 was drilled 100 metres east of BRC-07-38. BRC-07-46 was drilled 25 metres down-dip of BRC-07-42 and BRC-07-47 was drilled 50 metres due east of BRC-07-46. This new mineralization occurs stratigraphically below the massive sulphide mineralization in the Bracemac and Upper Bracemac Zones and confirms both the presence of three vertically stacked mineralized horizons and a robust VMS hydrothermal system in this area.

Drilling also continued to investigate the up-dip extension of the Upper Bracemac Zone with the drilling of BRC-07-41 which intersected unmineralized tuffite underlain by 18 metres of chlorite alteration and sulphide stringers.

The down-plunge and up-dip extension of the Bracemac Zone was investigated by drill holes BRC-07-43 and 44 respectively. Both holes limited the extension of massive sulphides, however very well developed pipe alteration with stringer sulphides over a width of 90 to 100 metres was encountered in both holes and suggests a very robust hydrothermal system can be further investigated for additional massive sulphides down plunge and to the east of the known massive sulphides.

Reconnaissance drilling that targeted magnetic and EM anomalies at the Key Tuffite elsewhere on the Bracemac property was conducted by drilling three widely spaced holes, BRC-07-40, 45 and 48. These holes did not return significant results.

      McLeod Zone

One drill hole and two wedge holes were completed at McLeod targeting the well developed mineralization encountered earlier in the program at the Key Tuffite horizon. The two new wedge holes (MC-05-18W3 and W4) were drilled to follow up the results previously reported from diamond drill hole MC-05-18W2 that intersected 27.95 metres of 9.24% zinc, 0.99% copper, 26.1% silver and 0.56g/t gold (see News Release dated June 14, 2007). MC-05-18W3 and MC-05-18W4 intersected the mineralized Key Tuffite 40 metres west and 50 metres up dip of MC-05-18W2 respectively. New drill hole MC-07-25 intersected 0.96 metres grading 35.6% zinc, 1.82% copper, 54.9 g/t silver and 2.98 g/t gold, 100 metres up dip from MC-07-22 that intersected 5.04 metres of 19.30% zinc, 1.32% copper, 28.5 g/t silver and 0.75 g/t gold (see News Release dated June 14, 2007).

      Other Activities

The Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) as part of the Abitibi TGI III initiative (http://ess.nrcan.gc.ca/tgi/index_e.php) released in early June an extensive gravity survey covering large portions of the Matagami Camp, the West Camp and the area between the two. A number of encouraging gravity targets have been identified and, combined with whole-rock geochemistry, suggest that the productive Key Tuffite stratigraphic package may be close to surface in areas not previously explored. A Titan 24 ground geophysical survey is underway over selected gravity targets.

      About the Matagami Project

The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,737 square kilometres and presently includes 2794 mineral claims covering 717 square kilometres.

The area is host to historical production of 8.6 billion pounds of Zn and 853 million pounds of Cu and has established infrastructure including the town of Matagami, a railway, a paved road, and a 2,600 t/day mill owned by Xstrata Zinc.

Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $20 to $23 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Upon earn-in by Donner, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Xstrata Zinc has the option to earn back a 15% interest in each area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.

The Company's strategy is to explore for and discover zinc - copper deposits in the Matagami Camp and to leverage the general infrastructure and existing processing facilities within a known and well-established cost structure for developing VMS deposits. Donner's exploration objective is to investigate multiple stratigraphic horizons with potential for VMS mineralization including the prolific Key Tuffite horizon throughout the Matagami Camp. Donner has discovered new mineralization on the Bracemac Property in the Upper Bracemac and Bracemac Zones and at the Key Tuffite horizon in both the Bracemac and McLeod areas.

      Supplementary Information

The field work on the Matagami Project is being carried out by project operator Xstrata Zinc Canada who is responsible for the sampling, submittal of samples for assay, assay verification and QA/QC. Robin Adair, VP of Exploration for the Company is the Qualified Person responsible for the technical information in this news release.

remember dml from the voisey bay days and although I did not participate in the market at that time I had a couple friends who made a lot of money on area players like dml and ndt. Just because they failed to find the goods over back then has no bearing on this play.
These are stellar results from obviously a deposit with stacked mineralizion near an existing mine. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF MISSING OUT on this opportunity because of Donners short comings in the past.
So the share price pulled back and it may stay in the low 60's may even drop to the high 50's in the next couple days on profit taking or from selling from spurned investors in the past.
Then watch for a steady increase in share price to the mid 80's to $1.00 range before the next results. Watch this stock fly if the next assay results are even close to those just released (which I believe is a high probability).
This is easily a $2.00 to $3.00 stock if they expand the deposit and the drill results have similar assays.
If you a new investor and are getting a little scared because of the temporary price pull back; just hang in there as there is little downside risk here at this point.
Don't let them scare you out of shares that should be worth 50% more in probably a week or two's time.

      Bekanntgabe der Bohrprogrammes

      Dated: September 13, 2007

Exploration Program Planned for South Voisey Bay Nickel-Copper Project

Vancouver, B.C., September 13, 2007 – Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSXVDON),
announces that preparations are underway for a geophysical exploration program on the South Voisey Bay Project,
located in Labrador. The geophysical work will be carried out in October, subject to crew availability and weather
conditions; otherwise it will be carried out in the spring of 2008. The program will cover ground held under the
Donner/Commander joint venture and is a first step in re-activating the entire South Voisey Bay Project.
The South Voisey Bay Project covers the Pants Lake Gabbro Complex, which hosts the best occurrences of anomalous
nickel-copper sulphide mineralization in mafic plutonic rocks in Labrador outside of Voisey’s Bay. The Pants Lake
Complex is similar in age and chemical composition to the intrusions that host the 150 million tonne Voisey's Bay nickel
deposits located 90 kilometres north of the project area. The South Voisey Bay Project is made up of claims that have
been maintained since their acquisition during the staking rush that immediately followed the Voisey’s Bay discovery in
      the mid-1990’s.
The Pants Lake Complex is characterized by an extensive basal contact zone that locally contains significant
concentrations of nickel and copper. For example, historical intersections on the Donner/Northern Abitibi joint venture,
immediately west of the Donner/Commander joint venture, include:
(Hole 97-67) 1.93% nickel, 1.07% copper over 0.65 metres in gabbro
(Hole 97-75) 11.9% nickel, 9.6% copper over 1.10 metres in the footwall
(Hole 97-96) 1.13% nickel, 0.78% copper over 15.7 metres in gabbro
(Hole 98-131) 4.49% nickel, 2.6% copper over 0.20 metres in gabbro
(Hole 98-131) 3.44% nickel, 0.5% copper over 0.30 metres in the footwall
Large areas of the basal contact have not been sufficiently explored for nickel-bearing massive sulphide accumulation, and
developments in the understanding of the genesis of the Voisey’s Bay nickel deposits has provided new direction for the
project. In a 2000 publication, Provincial Government geologists describe sulphide mineralization in the contact zone as
“texturally and mineralogically similar to those at Voisey’s Bay”. The publication goes on to say that “virtually all of the
gabbroic rocks have been depleted in nickel and copper by interaction with sulphidic liquids”. These studies have
calculated that a very large volume of nickel metal has been removed from the Pants Lake Gabbro melt and it is
interpreted that the nickel has been concentrated in magmatic sulphides during the injection of the intrusions. The location
of this concentration has yet to be discovered.
Previous work has determined that a large portion of the North Gabbro phase of the Pants Lake Complex underlies the
Donner/Commander property. Very little of this portion of the North Gabbro has been tested by drilling, leaving ample
room for a Voisey’s Bay sized deposit. Potential also exists on the remainder of the South Voisey Bay property.
Previous geophysical surveys located discrete conductors at a depth coincident with the interpreted base of the North
Gabbro. As high grade nickel sulphide deposits are usually highly conductive, an extensive low frequency UTEM
electromagnetic survey will be used to better define the existing anomalies and identify new prospective targets.

Donner and Xstrata Continue to Intersect High Grade Sulphides at Matagami
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 21, 2007) - Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DON)(FRANKFURT:D4M) reports new high-grade massive sulphide intersections at both the Bracemac and McLeod areas of the Matagami Project. At Bracemac, three drill holes have intersected high-grade massive sulphides at the Key Tuffite Horizon. At McLeod, high-grade massive sulphides have been intersected in three drill holes, also at the Key Tuffite Horizon, in two separate zones spaced 225 metres apart.

The McLeod Area is located approximately 1 kilometre southeast of Bracemac which is located 4 kilometres southeast of Xstrata's Matagami mill. Details of the new drill results are reported in the attached Table 1. Additional geological information, including updated maps and sections, on both areas is available at www.donnermetals.com. Assays have been received for nine additional drill holes totaling 5068.8 metres of drilling. Three drills are active on the Matagami Project.

      Bracemac

BRC-07-50, 52 and 53 extended the Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone approximately 75 metres to the east. The present extent of the zone is approximately 150 metres in an east-west direction with a dip extent of approximately 70 metres. BRC-07-51 was drilled 50 metres down-dip of BRC-07-52 and BRC-07-49 was drilled 50 metres down-dip of BRC-07-46 (33.9% Zn, 0.1% Cu over 7.0 metres and 28.66% Zn, 0.25% Cu over 7.15 metres). The zone is limited by drilling except to the west where continued drilling is in progress to investigate further potential focused on the well developed stringer/alteration zone that occurs in the footwall of the massive sulphides. The Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone is at a vertical depth of approximately 300 metres and is stratigraphically below the previously reported Upper Bracemac and Bracemac massive sulphide zones.

      McLeod Zones

The New McLeod Zone occurs on the Key Tuffite horizon at a vertical depth of 800 metres. It is situated approximately 225 metres directly down dip from the Old McLeod Zone. Drilling continued through wedging from a pilot hole, designed to investigate the zone at approximately 50 metre centers. DDH MC-05-18W6 is a 40 meter step-out east of MC-05-18W2 that returned 9.24% Zn, 0.99% Cu over 27.95 metres. The New McLeod Zone is open and continued drilling will focus on extending this zone.

The Old McLeod Zone is situated on the Key Tuffite Horizon at a vertical depth of 500 metres. Follow-up of historical drilling at 50 metre intervals has extended the zone in an east - west direction. The zone is poorly defined, but constrained by widely-spaced historical drilling. The results of MC-07-26 and 27 extend the distribution of massive sulphides first encountered in historical drill hole MC-04-07 (11.15% Zn, 2.04% Cu over 10.8m) by 100 metres. The entire zone, including the confining drill holes, is underlain by a very well developed stringer/alteration zone suggesting a robust VMS system in this area.

A connection between the two zones is not known at this time, however mineralization has been intersected between the two zones in two widely spaced drill holes, MC-07-25 (35.6% Zn, 1.82% Cu, 2.98 g/t Au over 0.96m) and MC-07-22 (15.06% Zn, 0.99% Cu over 7.0m), both previously reported.

      About the Matagami Project

The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,737 square kilometres and presently includes 2794 mineral claims covering 717 square kilometres.

Donner Metals Ltd.: Drilling Intersects More High Grade Sulphides at Bracemac and McLeod
Monday November 26, 9:00 am ET

New High Grade Sulphide Zone Intersected West of McLeod

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 26, 2007 -- Mr. Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (CDNX:DON.V - News)(Frankfurt:D4M.F - News) reports that drilling continues to intersect high grade sulphides over significant widths at Bracemac and at McLeod, 1.2 kilometers to the east. Exploratory drilling 180 metres west of McLeod has intersected a new, copper-rich, sulphide zone referred to as West McLeod. Drilling has now identified three vertically stacked sulphide zones at Bracemac. Three sulphide zones have been intersected at the Key Tuffite horizon at McLeod. Their extent and the possible connection between the McLeod zones have yet to be fully investigated.

Highlights of assay results reported in this news release are summarized below.

Delineation and exploratory drilling continues with three drills at Bracemac - McLeod, an area that is centered 6 kilometres southeast of Xstrata Zinc's Matagami mill. Reported in Table 1 are assays from 12 new drill holes in the Bracemac - McLeod area and from 5 holes on regional reconnaissance targets elsewhere on the property. Additional geological information, including maps and sections, is available at www.donnermetals.com. A total of 37,996 metres have been drilled since drilling began in October 2006.

      Bracemac

BRC-07-60 (16.67% Zn, 0.41% Cu, 21.42 g/t Ag, 0.19 g/t Au over 12.05 metres) extended the Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone approximately 60 metres down-dip and the zone remains open. Several holes have encountered thin variable grade sulphides at the Key Tuffite horizon around the periphery of the zone with all holes intersecting an underlying, well developed alteration zone. Additional delineation drilling is planned down-dip, up-dip and to the east and west of all known mineralization. Further exploratory step outs in this area will search for additional sulphide mounds that are typical of VMS deposits.

      McLeod

One step-out hole was completed on the New McLeod Zone. MC-05-18W7 (17.37% Zn, 0.41% Cu, 13.94 g/t Ag, (Au pending) over 11.59 metres) was drilled 50 metres up-dip from MC-05-18W6 (9.62% Zn, 1.33% Cu, 9.96 g/t Ag, 0.26 g/t Au over 32.22 metres) and 50 metres east of MC-05-18W4 (8.91% Zn, 1.88% Cu, 56.4 g/t Ag, 45.93 g/t Au over 11.42 metres). This zone remains open and un-delineated in all directions.

      One drill hole was completed on the Old McLeod Zone. MC-07-28 (19.78% Zn, 1.54% Cu, 48.56 g/t Au, 0.59 g/t Au over 1.95 metres) was drilled 50 metres down-dip of MC-07-27 that returned 18.45% Zn, 2.11% Cu, 66.4 g/t Ag, 1.12 g/t Au over 6.67 metres and 7.36% Zn, 3.19% Cu, 143 g/t Ag, 0.90 g/t Au over 1.3 metres.

A new zone of intense alteration encountered in previous drill holes at and below the Key Tuffite was investigated by two drill holes, MC-07-29 (2.76% Zn, 1.14% Cu, 7.16 g/t Ag, 0.19 g/t Au over 3.58 meters) and MC-07-30 (1.22% Zn, 3.00% Cu, 24.73 g/t Ag, 0.12 g/t Au over 5.77 meters), to test off-hole geophysical anomalies. This zone has been named the West McLeod Zone. Further drilling will follow up the results and off-hole anomalies in both holes.

      Delineation drilling continues at McLeod.

      Regional Drilling

DJV-07-80 was drilled 2.5km north-east of Xstrata's Perseverance deposits as a stratigraphic test. The hole remained in hanging wall felsic volcanic rock. Holes RA-07-1 through RA-07-4 were drilled to follow up geophysical anomalies in the region between the South Flank and the West Camp. RA-07-1 and 4 intersected mafic volcanic rocks and gabbroic intrusions. RA-07-2 and 3 intersected granite.

      About the Matagami Project

The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4750 square kilometres and presently includes 2778 mineral claims covering 700 square kilometres. Taking advantage of Xstrata Zinc's extensive historical database, Donner and Xstrata Canada Corporation - Xstrata Zinc Canada Division (Xstrata Zinc) are using a combination of 3D data integration, innovative advanced technologies, new concepts and diamond drilling to explore for new deposits in this prolific mining camp.

Donner has discovered new mineralization at Bracemac in the Upper Bracemac and Bracemac zones and the Key Tuffite horizon. In addition to delineation drilling at Old McLeod, Donner has discovered new mineralization at New McLeod and West McLeod at the Key Tuffite horizon at McLeod.

Donner Expands Interest in Matagami Camp
Wednesday November 28, 9:00 am ET
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 28, 2007 -- Harvey Keats, Chief Executive Officer of Donner Metals Ltd. (CDNX:DON.V - News)(Frankfurt:D4M.F - News), announces that Donner has entered into an agreement with Xstrata Canada Corporation - Xstrata Zinc Canada Division (Xstrata Zinc), whereby Xstrata Zinc has agreed to contribute additional mineral claims in the Matagami Camp to the existing Donner-Xstrata Zinc Option and Joint Venture Agreement ('OJVA').
Under the amendment agreement, all claims held by Xstrata Zinc in the Matagami Camp are now part of the OJVA, with the exception of the mineral claims covering the Perseverance deposits now under development by Xstrata Zinc. Included in the agreement are 1) mineral claims around past producers and existing infrastructure, 2) known mineralization at Orchan West, 3) the mineral claims between the original Mattagami Lake deposit and Perseverance (7 Kilometres), 4) the mineral claims around the Phelps Dodge deposit and other Phelps Dodge-Xstrata Zinc mineral claims and 5) several new other strategic blocks of claims acquired over the entire OJVA area.
As a result of the additions under the amendment agreement and staking since Donner entered into the OJVA in June 2006, the Matagami Project has grown from 2,065 mineral claims covering 477 square kilometres to 3,350 mineral claims covering 841 square kilometres.
Donner and Xstrata Zinc intend to apply the innovative exploration techniques that resulted in the recent significant discoveries at Bracemac and McLeod to the new areas of the OJVA. For example, Donner and Xstrata Zinc believe that Orchan West and Phelps Dodge both have potential for further exploration. Each has potential for additional sulphide development along strike as well as in vertically stacked mineralization similar to the mineralization discovered at Bracemac. A partial summary of previous exploration drilling at Orchan West and Phelps Dodge is provided in the attached tables.
Further, a significant area of strong exploration potential has been added along key mineralized/altered corridors between the historical deposits and Xstrata Zinc's Perseverance Deposit.
Pursuant to the terms of the revised OJVA, Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating Joint Venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $20 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Donner has made a firm expenditure commitment of $12 million (an increase of the committed portion of expenditures of $2 million), of which approximately $8 million has now been incurred. Donner has also agreed to contribute additional expenditures totaling up to $5 million towards establishing inferred resources on new discoveries, an increase of $2 million from the original agreement.
Upon the expenditure of $20 million by Donner, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Xstrata Zinc has the option to earn back a 15% interest in such area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.
Xstrata Zinc has a 100% interest in all claims subject to the OJVA with the exception of 309 Phelps Dodge - Xstrata Zinc claims in which Phelps Dodge has 25.89% participating interest and 9 mineral claims covering the Phelps Dodge deposit which are subject to a 15% net carried interest.
ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DONNER METALS LTD.

Donner Metals arranges $2-million private placement

      2007-12-07 16:59 ET - News Release

      Mr. David Patterson reports

DONNER METALS LTD.: $2.0 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Donner Metals Ltd. is undertaking a private placement in the amount of $2-million.

The finances will be raised by the company issuing a total of 3,076,923 flow-through units at a price of 65 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $2-million. Each flow-through unit will comprise one flow-through common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole share purchase warrant entitles the holder to acquire one additional non-flow-through common share of the company for a period of two years, at a price of 90 cents. However, if over a period of 20 consecutive trading days between the date that is four months following the closing date and the expiry of the warrant, the daily close price of the common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange exceeds $1.30 on each of those 20 consecutive days, the company will give written notice to the holders of the warrants that the warrants will expire at 4 p.m. Vancouver time on the 30th day following the giving of notice unless exercised by the holders prior to such date.

Bzw. 0,90 Dollar,

      Bracemac Area
Drill holes BRC-08-64, 65 and 66 were designed to test the up-dip extension of previously reported massive sulphides in the Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone. Drill hole BRC-08-64 was drilled 70 metres up-dip from BRC-07-47 (13.06% Zn, 2.09% Cu over 21.4 metres) and 30 metres west of BRC-07-53 (11.81% Zn, 1.01% Cu over 4.10 metres). BRC-08-65 was drilled 40 metres up-dip and to the east of BRC-08-64. Drill hole BRC-08-66 was drilled 30 metres west of BRC-08-64. The zone remains open up-dip.
One hole was drilled on the down-plunge extension of the Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone. BRC-08-63 was drilled 70 metres down-dip and to the west of BRC-07-60 (16.67% Zn, 0.41% Cu over 12.05 metres) and 50 metres west of BRC-07-61 (9.48% Zn, 2.81% Cu over 6.0 metres). The Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone remains open down-plunge.
      McLeod Area
Two drill holes were completed to the east of the New McLeod Zone. Diamond drill hole MC-07-31W1 was drilled 35 metres east of MC-05-18W7 (18.5% Zn, 0.42% Cu over 11.59 metres) and MC-07-31W2 was drilled 65 metres east of MC-05-18W6 (9.62% Zn, 1.33% Cu over 32.22 metres) and 45 metres down-dip from MC-07-31W1. One hole was completed on the west side of the New McLeod Zone. MC-07-33 intersected the zone 80 metres to the west and up-dip from MC-05-18W4 (8.91% Zn, 1.88% Cu over 11.42 metres).
At the West McLeod Zone, MC-07-30W1 was completed as a wedge cut 25 metres up-dip from MC-07-30 (1.22% Zn, 3.00% Cu over 5.77 metres).
One stratigraphic hole, MC-05-20W1, was drilled 200 metres west and down-dip of the New McLeod Zone and intersected weakly mineralized Key Tuffite followed by strong alteration in the footwall.
Four drills are active on the Matagami Project with continued step-out drilling at Bracemac and McLeod. A total of 46,386 metres of diamond drilling has been completed since the project began in late 2006. Additional geological information, including maps and sections, is available at www.donnermetals.com.
The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,750 square kilometres and presently includes 3,350 mineral claims covering 841 square kilometres.
The area is host to historical production of 8.6 billion pounds of Zn and 853 million pounds of Cu and has established infrastructure including the town of Matagami, a railway, a paved road, and a 2,600 t/day mill owned by Xstrata Zinc.
Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $20 to $25 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011.
To date Donner has discovered new mineralization at Bracemac in the Upper Bracemac and Bracemac zones and the Key Tuffite horizon. In addition to delineation drilling at Old McLeod, Donner has discovered new mineralization at New McLeod and West McLeod at the Key Tuffite horizon at McLeod.
      Supplementary Information
The field work on the Matagami Project is being carried out by project operator Xstrata Zinc Canada Division who is responsible for the sampling, submittal of samples for assay, assay verification and QA/QC.

Donner drills 23.7 m of 5.63% Cu at Bracemac

      2008-05-27 03:45 ET - News Release

      Mr. Harvey Keats reports

DONNER METALS LTD.: FOUR NEW HIGH GRADE INTERSECTIONS AT BRACEMAC/MCLEOD INCLUDING 23.70 METRES OF 5.63% COPPER AND 11.46% ZINC:eek:

Donner Metals Ltd. has expanded the Bracemac key tuffite zone at the company's Matagami project. Diamond drill hole BRC-08-74, designed to test for mineralization downdip of this zone, returned a 23.7-metre interval of high-grade, massive sulphides averaging 5.63 per cent copper and 11.46 per cent zinc. The New McLeod zone, approximately one kilometre east of Bracemac, has been extended updip by intersections of high-grade, massive sulphides encountered in diamond drill holes MC-08-40 (1.1 metres) and MC-08-43 (8.54 metres). Drilling in MC-08-45, 250 metres updip of the New McLeod zone, has also intersected high-grade massive and semi-massive sulphides over 6.35 metres.

Donner Metals (DON-TSX-V) – The Company has recently raised $3.2 million dollars by
issuing debentures, many of which were subscribed to by company management. Using
debentures as a cash flow alternative is a really innovative way to keep the cash flow coming
      without diluting the share capital.

Right now Donner and joint venture partner Xstrata Zinc Canada are putting the $3.2 million
raised directly into the delineation drilling at their Matagami Project in Québec. The Bracemac
and McLeod discovery areas are approximately 900 meters apart and they are finding more
mineralization between the two areas, which enhances the economics of putting the deposits
into production in the future. Donner is currently working hard to get a 43-101 compliant
resource established and moving closer to a production situation. Donner’s partner Xstrata
owns the recently refurbished Matagami Lake Mill, which is 5 kilometers from the Bracemac/
McLeod areas and is now in full production processing ore from Xstrata’s Perseverance deposit.
Bringing in an Xstrata feasibility team to the Bracemac and McLeod discovery areas will free
up the Matagami exploration team to follow up on numerous other great, under-explored
      target areas on the Project.

Donner’s drill results from the end of May include 23.70 meters of 5.63% copper and 11.46%
zinc, an intersection that represents one of the highest copper grades ever found at the Matagami
camp. Check out Donner’s recently launched website www.donnermetals.com for the latest
information and sign up for the informative Donner Hotsheet.

      Bracemac Area

Bracemac Zone: Diamond drill holes BRC-08-75 and BRC-08-76, engineered to target the Key Tuffite horizon, also tested the Bracemac horizon east of known mineralization and intersected heavily disseminated and semi-massive sulphides over thin intervals underlain by strong chlorite alteration. BRC-08-75 intersected the horizon 20 metres east and up-dip of BRC-08-74 and 20 metres down-dip from BRC-07-34, both of which did not intersect mineralization at the Bracemac horizon. BRC-08-76 was drilled 50 metres down-dip and to the east of BRC-07-28 (9.83% Zn, 0.90% Cu, 13.3 g/t Ag, 0.18 g/t Au over 6.90 metres) and 55 metres east of MC-06-27 (13.98% Zn, 3.69% Cu, 38.9 g/t Ag, 0.48 g/t Au over 8.80 metres). BRC-08-77, also targeting the underlying Key Tuffite level, intersected the Bracemac Tuffite 25 metres down-dip from BRC-08-75 and did not encounter mineralization or alteration.

Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone: Drill hole BRC-08-75 extended mineralization 95 metres down-dip from BRC-08-74 (11.46% Zn, 5.63% Cu, 17.73% Ag, 1.47 g/t Au over 23.70 metres) where it intersected massive, semi-massive and stringer sulphides within a thick interval of intense Pipe alteration. BRC-08-76 intersected unmineralized Key Tuffite followed by intense Pipe alteration 40 metres down-dip and to the west of BRC-08-74 and 60 metres west and up-dip from BRC-08-75. Drill hole BRC-07-28 was extended to the Key Tuffite where it intersected unmineralized tuffite 60 metres west and slightly up-dip from BRC-08-74. BRC-06-26 was also extended and intersected unmineralized Key Tuffite followed by chlorite alteration 75 metres west of BRC-08-76. Diamond drill hole BRC-08-77 intersected unmineralized, brecciated Key Tuffite, underlain by Pipe alteration 60 metres east and up-dip from BRC-08-74. Drill hole BRC-08-80 intersected weakly mineralized Key Tuffite, 100 metres east of BRC-07-61 (9.48% Zn, 2.81% Cu, 26.74 g/t Ag, 0.37 g/t Au over 6.00 metres). Mineralization and/or intense Pipe alteration encountered in drill holes BRC-08-74, BRC-08-75, BRC-08-76 and BRC-08-77 warrants continued drill investigation in this area of the Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone. The zone remains open down-dip.

Two widely spaced step-out drill holes investigated the up-dip extension of the Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone. BRC-08-78 intersected weakly mineralized Key Tuffite 225 metres up-dip and west of known mineralization at a depth of 50 metres. BRC-08-79 tested the Key Tuffite 75 metres up-dip from BRC-08-71 (3.53% Zn, 0.33% Cu, 10.56 g/t Ag, 0.08 g/t Au over 8.40 metres) where it encountered a gabbro sill, occupying the Key Tuffite stratigraphic interval.

      McLeod Area

New McLeod Zone: Two drill holes were completed up-dip of the New McLeod Zone. MC-08-47 investigated the up-dip extension of the central portion of the zone and intersected high-grade mineralization 65 metres up-dip from MC-07-22 (19.30% Zn, 1.32% Cu, 28.5 g/t Ag, 0.75 g/t Au over 5.04 metres) and 40 metres down dip of MC-07-25 (35.6% Zn, 1.82% Cu, 54.9 g/t Ag, 2.93 g/t Au over 0.96 metres). Drill hole MC-08-51 intersected stringer mineralization 55 metres up-dip and to the east of MC-08-43 (13.98% Zn, 1.15% Cu, 30.03 g/t Ag, 0.94 g/t Au over 8.54 metres) and 50 metres west and up-dip of MC-07-25. Drilling continues to investigate a link between mineralization in the New McLeod and Old McLeod Zones.

Old McLeod: Two drill holes were completed in the Old McLeod Zone. MC-08-52, drilled 80 metres up-dip from MC-07-27 (18.45% Zn, 2.11% Cu, 42.83 g/t Ag, 1.12 g/t Au over 9.80 metres and 10.51% Zn, 3.94% Cu, 92.38 g/t Ag, 0.85 g/t Au over 3.22 metres) encountered weakly mineralized Key Tuffite. BRC-08-55 was drilled 50 metres up-dip from MC-07-27 and 45 metres west of MC-08-52 where it intersected high-grade mineralization related to an off-hole EM anomaly detected in MC-08-52. The Zone is open up-dip from MC-08-55 and its extent remains to be delineated.

Old McLeod, Up-dip: Drill hole MC-08-49 intersected unmineralized, brecciated Key Tuffite underlain by intense chlorite alteration 45 metres west and down-dip from MC-08-45 (8.09% Zn, 2.35% Cu, 5.64 g/t Ag, 0.26 g/t Au over 6.35 metres). MC-08-50 was drilled 125 metres west of M6 (1.7% Zn, 4.21% Cu over 6.95 metres) and intersected weakly mineralized Key Tuffite underlain by Pipe alteration. This hole also intersected pipe alteration stratigraphically above the Key Tuffite horizon at approximately the same stratigraphic position as MC-08-36 (18.10% Zn, 3.14% Cu, 61.28 g/t Ag 1.37 g/t Au over 4.18 metres) drilled 130 metres to the west and up-dip of MC-08-50.

West McLeod Zone: Assay results for drill hole MC-08-46 (previously described in News Release dated May 27, 2008) were returned and yielded high-grade copper over 15.65 metres and 5.32 metres. This hole was drilled at an orientation 90 degrees to the standard drill hole direction to test for vertical, northeast - southwest structures that trend parallel to the standard drill orientation. Pipe alteration, locally mineralized, has been observed at and below the Key Tuffite in previous drilling in the West McLeod Zone and is thought to be controlled by these structures. MC-08-46 undercut the area between MC-07-30W1 (0.89% Zn, 2.77% Cu, 12.23 g/t Ag, 0.05 g/t Au over 2.24 metres) and MC-07-21 (traces of chalcopyrite associated with chloritized structures). Mineralization is hosted within Pipe alteration at and immediately below the Key Tuffite horizon. MC-08-46W1 is a wedge cut up-dip and slightly west of MC-08-46 where it intersected weakly mineralized Key Tuffite followed by weakly mineralized Pipe alteration in the footwall to the Key Tuffite. The true width and the geometry of the sulphides encountered in MC-08-46 remain uncertain and will require continued drill follow-up.

MC-08-53 was drilled between the Old McLeod Zone and the West McLeod Zone where it intersected substantial copper mineralization in Pipe alteration in the immediate footwall to the Key Tuffite. Mineralization is similar to copper-rich sulphides encountered in MC-08-46 and may suggest a link between the Old McLeod Zone and the West McLeod Zone.

Details of the assay results can be found in the attached Appendix 1. Four drills are active on the Matagami Project at Bracemac and McLeod. A total of 70,278 metres of diamond drilling in 145 drill holes has been reported on since the project began in late 2006. Additional geological information, including maps and sections, is available at www.donnermetals.com.

The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,750 square kilometres and presently includes 3,340 mineral claims covering 801 square kilometres.

The Matagami Mining Camp is a world-class mining district, with 18 known VMS deposits, including 10 past producers of varying sizes, including the giant Matagami Lake Deposit (25.64 million tonnes of 8.2% Zn, 0.56% Cu, 20.91 g/t Ag and 0.41 g/t Au) discovered in 1957 and mined from 1963 to 1988.

Parameters Used For Indicated and Inferred Resource Calculations:
      - Cut-off for the Bracemac and McLeod sulphide zones is based on the extent of massive sulphides. A cut-off grade of 4% zinc equivalent (zinc + 2 times copper) is used for the Copper Zone. Both are based on historical experience in resource estimation at Matagami.
      - Capping Values were applied to individual gold and silver assays corresponding to the 97.5 percentile of each individual zone in order to minimize the nugget effect.
      - Drill spacing for indicated resources calculated for the Bracemac Zones and the McLeod Zone is at approximately 50 metre centres.
      - Inferred resources are classified on the basis of greater than 50 metre drill spacing and/or uncertain continuity/geometry at 50 metre drill spacing.
      - Type of resource calculation model: Polygonal method on an inclined long section.
      Zone Features:
The Bracemac and McLeod zones contain sulphides that are generally typical of zinc-enriched Matagami-type VMS deposits. The zones differ on the basis of significant sulphides stacked in two separate stratigraphic horizons in the hanging wall to the Key Tuffite at Bracemac, locally higher copper content for both the McLeod and Bracemac Key Tuffite zones, the absence of well developed stringer zones directly under the core of the zones, the tabular shape of mineralization and the extensive chloritization of the footwall Watson Lake rhyolite observed from Bracemac to McLeod (greater than 2 km wide). Mineralization is characterized geophysically by the weakness or total absence of electrical conductivity in the outer part of the sulphide bodies making the delineation of their edge difficult by standard electromagnetic geophysics. General characteristics of each zone are as follows:
      McLeod Zone:
      - Massive and semi-massive sulphides at or near the Key Tuffite stratigraphic horizon.
      - Excellent potential for expansion of mineralization at depth indicated on basis of DDH MC-08-34 (10.81% zinc, 1.35% copper, 37.72 g/t silver, 0.59 g/t gold over 2.12 metres).
      West McLeod Zone:
      - Massive and semi-massive sulphides, generally copper-rich. Geometry, extent of sulphides and connection with the McLeod Zone is unclear at current drill spacing.
      Copper Zone:
      - This zone is characterized by the occurrence of stringer copper mineralization within extensive "Pipe" alteration in a laterally predictable and continuous sheet that occurs between 10 to 30 metres below mineralization in the McLeod Zone.
      Bracemac Zone:
      - Massive and semi-massive sulphides occur in three stacked zones (Upper Bracemac Zone, Bracemac Zone and Bracemac Key Tuffite Zone).
      Advancement of the Matagami Project
Xstrata Zinc's engineering and mine team will focus on the advancement of Bracemac-McLeod through the scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility and development stages, and the go/no-go decisions at the completion of each stage, with the overall objective of supplementing and replacing production from the Perseverance Mine. Continued exploration in the immediate vicinity of Bracemac-McLeod will be conducted as part of the scoping/prefeasibility stages.
In conjunction with Xstrata's efforts on Bracemac-McLeod, the Xstrata Zinc-Donner exploration team will focus on drilling targets from the pipeline of high priority drill/exploration targets elsewhere on the extensive property covered under the Matagami Option and Joint Venture Agreement. The exploration team is using a combination of 3D data integration, innovative advanced technologies, new concepts and diamond drilling with the objective of making additional discoveries that will integrate into the future resource base at Matagami.
      SUMMARY
A total of 90,185 metres of diamond drilling in 180 drill holes has been completed on the Matagami Project since the activity under the Option and Joint Venture Agreement began in late 2006. Approximately 80,000 metres of diamond drilling have been focused on, and in the vicinity of, the Bracemac-McLeod Discovery.
The full technical report for the resource estimate on Bracemac-McLeod will be posted on SEDAR and the Donner website within forty-five days of this press release. Additional geological information, including maps and sections, is available at www.donnermetals.com.
      PROJECT OVERVIEW
Donner has the option to earn a 50% participating joint venture interest in the Matagami Project by incurring a total of $25 million of expenditures on exploration and related work on or before May 31, 2011. Upon earn-in by Donner, five separate joint ventures will be formed, covering the property and the area of interest. In each of the five joint venture areas, Xstrata Zinc has the option to earn back a 15% interest in each area by incurring up to $20 million on a feasibility study.
The Matagami Project has an area of mutual interest of 4,750 square kilometres and presently includes 3,340 mineral claims covering 801 square kilometres. The project covers the Matagami Mining Camp which is a world-class mining district, with 18 known VMS deposits, including 10 past producers of varying sizes, including the giant Matagami Lake Deposit (25.64 million tonnes of 8.2% Zn, 0.56% Cu, 20.91 g/t Ag and 0.41 g/t Au) discovered in 1957 and mined from 1963 to 1988. The area is host to historical production of 8,600 million pounds of Zn and 853 million pounds of Cu. The Matagami area is well serviced by established infrastructure including the town of Matagami, power, a permitted tailings facility, railway, and airport and well developed road and highway networks. Xstrata Zinc is currently producing from its low-cost and wholly-owned Perseverance Deposit which feeds its refurbished 2,600 t/day Matagami mill complex. Any future development under the Donner-Xstrata agreement will benefit from the established infrastructure and facilities. Zinc concentrates produced at Matagami are refined at the Noranda Income Fund zinc refinery in Valleyfield, Quebec. Copper concentrates are smelted at Xstrata's Horne smelter in Rouyn-Noranda and refined at Xstrata's Canadian Copper Refinery in Montreal.
The Company's strategy is to explore for and discover zinc-copper deposits in the Matagami Camp and to leverage the general infrastructure and existing processing facilities within a known and well-established cost structure for developing VMS deposits. Donner's exploration objective is to investigate multiple stratigraphic horizons with potential for VMS mineralization including the prolific Key Tuffite horizon throughout the Matagami Camp. To date, Donner has discovered new mineralization at Bracemac-McLeod and at Bell Channel. Within the extensive project area there are numerous exploration targets with excellent potential for additional discoveries.
